Revolution Muslim Fails Again Or Did They?

And old friend of Zack Chesser has been arrested, one would think that he was also friends with some other members of Revolution Muslim, the gift that just keeps on giving.

Dept of Justice Press Release

Nicholas Young, 36, of Fairfax, Virginia, was arrested today on charges of attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), a designated foreign terrorist organization. Young is employed by the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) as a law enforcement officer.

Assistant Attorney General for National Security John P. Carlin, U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente of the Eastern District of Virginia and Assistant Director in Charge Paul M. Abbate of the FBI’s Washington Field Office made the announcement. Young’s initial appearance is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Theresa C. Buchanan of the Eastern District of Virginia.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, Young has been employed as an MTPD officer since 2003. Law enforcement first interviewed Young in September 2010 in connection with his acquaintance, Zachary Chesser, who had been arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Over the next several years, Young allegedly had numerous interactions with undercover law enforcement personnel and an FBI confidential human source (CHS) regarding his knowledge of and interest in terrorism-related activity. Many of these interactions were recorded. Law enforcement also interviewed Young’s family and co-workers. In 2011, Young met with an undercover law enforcement officer, and several of these meetings included another of Young’s acquaintances, Amine El Khalifi, who later pleaded guilty to charges relating to his plan to conduct a suicide bombing at the U.S. Capitol Building in 2012.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, in 2011, Young traveled to Libya once and attempted to travel there a second time. Young told FBI agents that he had been with rebels attempting to overthrow the Muammar Qaddafi regime. Baggage searches revealed that Young traveled with body armor, a kevlar helmet and several other military-style items, according to the allegations.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, on about 20 separate occasions in 2014, Young met with the CHS, who posed as a U.S. military reservist of Middle Eastern descent who wanted to travel overseas to join ISIL. During these conversations, Young allegedly advised the CHS on how to evade law enforcement detection by utilizing specific travel methods and advised the CHS to watch out for informants and not discuss his plans with others.

According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, also in 2014, the CHS led Young to believe that he had successfully left the United States and joined ISIL. In reality, the CHS had no further contact with Young. All further communications between Young and the CHS’s email account were actually communications between Young and FBI undercover personnel posing as the CHS. In June 2015, Young emailed the CHS asking for advice from the CHS’s commanders on how to send money to ISIL. Young said, “[u]nfortunately I have enough flags on my name that I can’t even buy a plane ticket without little alerts ending up in someone’s hands, so I imagine banking transactions are automatically monitored and will flag depending on what is going on.”

In December 2015, the FBI interviewed Young, ostensibly in connection with an investigation into the whereabouts of the CHS, according to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint. Young allegedly said that the CHS had left the United States to go on a vacation tour in Turkey approximately one year ago. In addition, according to the allegations in the complaint, Young said that he knew of no one in the United States or overseas who helped the CHS cross the Turkish border into Syria.

On July 18, 2016, Young allegedly communicated with a person who he believed to be the CHS regarding purchasing gift cards for mobile-messaging accounts that ISIL purportedly uses in recruiting others to join the terrorist organization. According to the affidavit filed in support of the criminal complaint, on July 28, 2016, Young sent 22 gift card codes to the FBI undercover officer posing as the CHS with a message that stated: “Respond to verify receipt . . . may not answer depending on when as this device will be destroyed after all are sent to prevent the data being possibly seen on this end in the case of something unfortunate.” The codes were ultimately redeemed by the FBI for $245, according to court documents.

A criminal complaint is merely an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

If convicted, Young faces a statutory maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The maximum statutory sentence is prescribed by Congress and is provided here for informational purposes. If convicted of any offense, the sentencing of the defendant will be determined by the court based on the advisory Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

The MTPD initiated this investigation and continues to work collaboratively with the FBI Washington Field Office’s Joint Terrorism Task Force on the case. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Gordon D. Kromberg and John T. Gibbs of the Eastern District of Virginia and Trial Attorney David P. Cora of the National Security Division.

Heartbreak: Zack Chesser Hates Prison

chesserpoopstinks.jpgThe Smoking gun reports that Zack Chesser doesn't like federal hillbilly prison.

JANUARY 8--The would-be jihadist who was convicted of threatening the creators of “South Park” over an episode featuring the Prophet Muhammad dressed in a bear suit is suing federal prison officials for limiting his ability to "fulfill Islam’s religious obligations,” The Smoking Gun has learned.

In a civil complaint filed last month, Zachary Chesser, 25, alleges that Bureau of Prison regulations limiting religious gatherings are a violation of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, and prevent him from fully exercising his beliefs.

For instance when Zack was welcomed to Marion he didn't like that every time he and his Akhi gathered in the dark with the lights off the guards interrupted their, "prayer session." Prayer session? Yeah right.
Bureau of Prison memos show that Chesser, who was convicted in 2010 of terrorism charges and sentenced to 25 years in prison, was disciplined four times for participating in an unauthorized meeting or gathering. Specifically, Chesser was cited for taking part in congregational prayer with various Muslim inmates, most of whom are fellow terrorists.

For example, in November 2011, a guard spotted Chesser and six other inmates “in the education room with the lights out.” The group was being led in prayers by Mohammed Saleh, who was convicted of conspiring to bomb the United Nations and other New York City landmarks.

..Chesser wrote in response to a BoP incident report. “I say it’s wrong that it’s a rule.” In another note, the Virginia native declared that the congregational prayer ban was “ridiculous,” and an “evil, oppressive, bigoted, hillbilly kind of policy.”

LOL! Zack we hillbillies are glad you didn't enjoy your stay.

So Zack's whinging got his ass sent to Supermax. Where he apparently thinks his Ahki's poop stinks.

Still, he has tried to communicate with his upstairs neighbor. “I speak daily with a Muslim on the floor above me through the shower drain,” Chesser wrote in his declaration. “But this is physically painful, reeks of sewage and makes it very hard to hear.”
LOL stinky.

What a Wonderful Smell You've Discovered: MSM Finally Notices Convicted Online Terrorists Posting from Prison

Younes Abdullah Muhammad & Zachary Chesser Whine in front of White House

We've been talking about this for six months now. It's about time someone other than us noticed the disconnect of jailing militants for their online shenanigans and then giving them free reign to continue their digital jihad from prison:

Jesse Curtis Morton, a convert to Islam who writes under the name Younus Abdullah Muhammed, posted a lengthy tract opposing U.S. drone policy, on May 21, on the website that he launched in 2010.

Morton is serving a prison term of more than 11 years in a Pennsylvania federal prison after pleading guilty in 2012 to conspiring to solicit murder, make threatening communications and "use the Internet to place others in fear."...

Another American militant, Zachary Chesser, who was found guilty of conspiring with Morton to encourage attacks via the Internet on the creators of "South Park," has also posted material while in prison. His postings appear on another website and mainly air personal grievances, along with some political material.

Chesser is serving a 25-year prison sentence in Marion, Illinois, for the "South Park" case and for attempting to join the Somali militant group al Shabaab.

Convicted Terror Supporter: Help, I'm Being Oppressed!

Zach Chesser protesting at the White House

The latest letter from Zach Chesser. I think it's titled, Come and see the violence inherent in the system!

My name is Abu Talhah Zakariyya al-Amriiki (legally “Zachary Chesser) I am a Muslim prisoner in America, who has been arrested in the War on Islaam, the American Inquisition.
Yes, a "war on Islam". That explains the President of the United States condemning words which disparage that particular religion. A war.
Yesterday, during the Maghrib prayer, a number of inmates and I were praying together. One of the guards came in upon us, and when we were finished he took down our names. He then went to write us all incident reports as a retaliation over the protests on behalf of the Prophet, sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Wow, an incident report. The horror!!!

There is a reason this particular prison doesn't let the inmates pray together. They also don't let them hold their own religious services. It's because all of the Muslim inmates at "Gitmo North" are convicted terror supporters.

When they speak of Islam, they mean the branch of Sunni Islam that supports terror. So if the prison is suppressing that? Well, I'm all for it.

Senate Study on The Online Radicalization of Zachary Chesser of Revolution Muslim

Government Security News:

The Internet and social media are integral ingredients in the rapid radicalization of homegrown terrorists, said a staff study by the Senate homeland security committee that recommended a coordinated government response to counter online radical propaganda and help communities intervene in the radicalization process.

The report, released on Feb. 27 by the staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, was based on the close study of the personal writings of Zachary Chesser, the Bristow, VA man now serving a 25-year sentence for threatening the writers of the South Park television show, soliciting violent jihadists to desensitize law enforcement, and attempting to provide material support to Al-Shabaab.

The study also provides some unique detail into Chesser’s motivations and personality.

The Senate staff said Chesser’s case was a classic case study of how quickly online radicalization can occur compared to the traditional process of face to face contact between an aspirant and an established terrorist group.

The .pdf copy of the study is here.

Jawa report was not mentioned in the study, we were basically robbed. But we're getting really used to that ;)

Update: A mention of if not our name, our actions on page 19.

Oh yeah that was me ;).

NY Jihadi Jose Pimentel, aka Mujahidfisabillilah, Busted

We've been waiting a very long time for this. We have so much on this dude that I'm not sure where to start except to note that we've been following Jose Pimentel for some time and he's one of those hip-hop wannabe type Jihadis.

That, and it took me oh about 15 seconds tracked the bastage down when we first really started looking hard at him back in July.

True Islam_mujahidfisabillilah1 blogspot.jpg

News is starting to leak about the arrest this weekend of a New York City man who planned to bomb police and military facilities. The NY Post reports:
The NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have arrested a terror suspect who was planning to bomb city police facilities and US military sites, where he plotted to target returning war personnel and the families who gathered to welcome them home, The Post has learned.

The suspect, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested after he actually purchased bomb-making materials, sources said. He’d been on the authorities’ radar for about a year, the sources said.

It wasn’t immediately clear exactly where he planned to attack.

We can report here exclusively at PJM that the man arrested is Jose Pimentel of Harlem. On his Facebook page he describes himself as:

I am a Muslim convert from the Dominican Republic looking for other muslims living in the US specially in New York City to share a brotherhood with and to help each other stay firm on the religion. Also looking for anyone that wishes to learn more about Islam and other religions.

Here is a .pdf of the complaint against Jose Pimentel.

Jose was a prolific terrorist blogger and familiar face around the Revolution Muslim and Islam Policy websites. He shares a blog called who's donations tracked back to Islam4UK and Islampolicy members.

His Youtube channel is here

Here are just a few of his websites.

Oh and Jose, watch the cornhole Akhi!

Update: Reading CNN's description of this guy as a Lone Wolf is laughable. This person is a widely known highly networked individual who was a very active al-Qaeda propagandist in the online Jihadi community.

UpdateII: A note the our friend Jihadi Princess: You can wipe the websites clean all you want. Its too late.

Image credit Yahoo which has more including pics of Jose making his bomb in his mommy's kitchen, just like his bro Samir Khan instructed him to.

NPR: Zach Chesser Playing "Catcher" to Johnny Walker Lindh

NPR names names at Guantanamo North -- the nickname for the prison in Marion, Illinois where several high profile convicted terrorists are serving time.

We already knew Zachary Chesser was doing his time there, writing letters of complaint about how it's so unfair that convicted terrorists aren't allowed to pray together. Because, you know, letting convicted terrorists hang out in the same room for extended periods of time poses no danger to the guards or other inmates.

But what this NPR story adds is that that Johnny Walker Lindh is also holed up Gitmo North.

Given that Lindh was an actual member of the Taliban while Chesser was just a potential recruit for the Somali Taliban, I can't help but think that in the radical Islamist prison gang hierarchy Lindh would be top dog while Chesser would be bottom bitch.

And we all know what that means.

Which is why I find a lot of NPR's terrorism coverage so lame these days. It's like they won't be satisfied until terrorism is treated like a marijuana possession charge. Bad, yes, but kids will be kids.

Simply by asking the question whether or not it's fair to single out convicted terrorists for special non-communication treatment because they are Muslim represents the kind of stupidity I've come to expect from our tax dollar subsidized elite.

As I tell my students: no, your high school teachers were wrong. Some questions are in fact dumb.

And lately, every time NPR opens its collective mouth on terrorism it confirms what we all only would have suspected had it simply opted for silence.

But I do thank NPR for providing us with the knowledge that Lindh and Chesser are now a happy couple. They do have gay marriage and/or domestic partnerships in Illinois, right?

Mazel tov to the happy couple! And a reminder to Zach that even forced marriages sometimes work out.

Irony: South Park Threatener Was a Big Fan of South Park Before He Converted to Islam

Bumped because Rsluty would have done it anyway!

Over at Reddit the brother of convicted jihadi Zachary Chesser reveals that before he became a Muslim the two used to enjoy watching South Park together:

It all started his senior year of High School when he met my friend's sister who was Muslim (Names omitted out of respect) he dated her for awhile and then converted to Islam. He then became to extreme for her wanting to move to Somalia and broke up with her after which he found his wife online at Muslim dating site....

He used to be a big fan of SP and I can remember staying up late with him and watching it. The reality is that he is and was very arrogant and it really came out when he converted to Islam. He also has a history of taking things to the extreme, that is why he took such offense to the Muhammad episode.

You'll have to read the rest of the (oddly) threaded conversation over at Reddit. The main thing that sticks out is that apparently Zach has always: a) been arrogant b) taken whatever he was into to the extreme.

The arrogance can be seen in the fact that even though he had been interviewed by the FBI over the South Park threats, that he still thought he could get away with fleeing the country to join the al Qaeda linked al Shabaab in Somalia.

As to the extremism -- he tried to join the al Qaeda linked al Shabaab in Somalia!

But the brother says that when he decided he was a vegetarian he wouldn't even eat bread for some idiotic reason or another. Because nothing says meat better than ... bread!?!?

Go ahead and read the rest here. I especially love the part where his deported wife is still trying to get custody of the child Zach was using as his cover so he could join a terrorist organization.

H/T: Ronin

PS - What I really wanted to know was why Zach left ZZ Top?
