Jesse Morton, a convert to Islam also known as Younus Abdullah Mohammad, plans to appear in federal court in Alexandria, Va., on Thursday, his lawyer told Politico. He will plead guilty to conspiracy, communicating threats, and internet stalking, Politico reported. Each felony carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.

Our old friend Jesse "Younes Abdullah Muhammad" Morton has confirmed that he is back on US soil after being extradited from Morocco last October. You might remember Younes from such antics as congratulating Osama bin Laden on his "martyrdom" & entry into heaven & "warning" those South Park guys might get killed and here is where they live.

On his former website Islam Policy -- which took the place of his old Revolution Muslim website -- yet another email from Younes was posted:

I am writing this to let the ummah know that I have arrived on extradition from Morocco to the United States, while it is impossible for me to communicate at this time, I did want to express my gratitude to all of those that have assisted myself and family throughout this trial.

He also gives an email address for his wife begging his readers to help support her financially. No, I'm not going to post the email. Being married to Younes is torture enough, she doesn't need any more crap from us.

Former "emir" of the Revolution Muslim blog, Jesse Morton (aka, "Younus Abdullah Muhammad") is behind bars waiting trial for threatening the creators of South Park, continues to blog from jail.

Since he's been indicted for his activities online, I'm not sure how it's wise that he's still able to communicate online.

I won't bother to quote any of his second rate mimicking of warmed over neo-Marxist international relations theory, but I do want to note the tagline:

We've been waiting a very long time for this. We have so much on this dude that I'm not sure where to start except to note that we've been following Jose Pimentel for some time and he's one of those hip-hop wannabe type Jihadis.

News is starting to leak about the arrest this weekend of a New York City man who planned to bomb police and military facilities. The NY Post reports:

The NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have arrested a terror suspect who was planning to bomb city police facilities and US military sites, where he plotted to target returning war personnel and the families who gathered to welcome them home, The Post has learned.

The suspect, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested after he actually purchased bomb-making materials, sources said. He’d been on the authorities’ radar for about a year, the sources said.

It wasn’t immediately clear exactly where he planned to attack.

We can report here exclusively at PJM that the man arrested is Jose Pimentel of Harlem. On his Facebook page he describes himself as:

I am a Muslim convert from the Dominican Republic looking for other muslims living in the US specially in New York City to share a brotherhood with and to help each other stay firm on the religion. Also looking for anyone that wishes to learn more about Islam and other religions.

Jesse "Younes Abdullah Muhammad" Morton with friend and convicted terrorist Zachary "Abu Talhah al-Amriki" Chesser in front of the White House

Jesse "Younes Abdullah Muhammad" Morton is back in the US after being extradited from Morocco. Morton is charged with threatening South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Morton's accomplice, Zachary Chesser, has already plead guilty to a related charge over the South Park incident and is now serving time for that and for other charges relating to his plans to join al Qaeda linked insurgents in Somalia.

Documents obtained exclusively by J.M. Berger of Intelwire reveal that Morton has been back in the U.S. since either later October or early November. A court appearance of Nov. 3rd in Virginia shows Morton awaiting the appointment of counsel and being remanded to custody as a flight risk and danger to the community.

The documents also reveal that Morton was the subject of a FISA warrant, meaning that the investigation was terror related.

Berger is the author of Jihad Joe:Americans Who Go to War in the Name of Islam which documents the widespread phenomenon of violent homegrown Islamist extremists.

"Younes Abdullah Muhammad" was a co-founder of the Revolution Muslim and Islam Policy websites. The site posted extremist materials on support of groups like al Qaeda and the Taliban. The website was frequented by many American extremists, including Samir Khan who was killed by the side of Anwar al-Awlaki, the former spiritual leader of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

Antonio Martinez — aka Muhammad Hussein, the man who failed to blow up a military recruiting station in Maryland -- was an online fan of Muhammad's Revolution Muslim website. Evidence introduced at his trial suggests that Martinez was inspired to attack the US soil by Muhammad's writings.

The website and Morton have been linked to dozens of other extremists, including convicted terrorists such as Carlos Almonte -- who famously held up a sign reading "Death to Juice. Unknown to many, Morton was standing next to Almonte and just off camera when the photo was taken.

Recently, a British author on the website, Bilal Zaheer Ahmad, was sentenced to 12 years for encouraging readers to kill Members of Parliament who had voted for the Iraq War.

After Zachary Chesser was arrested on his way to join al Shabaab, "Muhammad" fled the country for Morocco where he was later arrested.

In a letter written from his Moroccon jail, Morton recently argued that his threats against the South Park creators were free speech and that his comments were not meant to be threatening but as a warning. He also argued that the indictment against his was part of a Zionist plot -- odd, given that Morton was born a Jew.

PS- Given the FISA notice, I'm guessing that a superseding indictment with more serious follow up charges will be forthcoming in the next few weeks.

A Muslim group in the United Kingdom has launched a campaign to turn twelve British cities – including what it calls "Londonistan" – into independent Islamic states. The so-called Islamic Emirates would function as autonomous enclaves ruled by Islamic Sharia law and operate entirely outside British jurisprudence.

Only 2 1/2 days behind us now:

(CNN) -- Younus Mohammad, a New York native and Muslim convert charged with threatening the creators of the TV show "South Park," has been arrested in Morocco, according to the website he co-founded.

"Early on Friday morning brother Younus was arrested by Moroccan authorities," Islampolicy.com said in a posting Sunday. He is being held and awaiting extradition to the United States, the website says.

A criminal complaint against him, alleging the communication of threats, was filed in Virginia earlier this month using his English name, Jesse Curtis Morton.

Morton insists prosecutors misread a document intended to promote dialogue.
He once told CNN that Muslims are commanded by Allah to terrorize, though he said he did not read that as a call for killing civilians. He also professed his love for al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

"His arrest comes in the long line of Muslims who have been imprisoned for speaking out against the United States," Islampolicy.com said. "It is part and parcel of the U.S. war on Islam. It is a war, being waged on two interlink (sic) fronts."

The English-language website, a successor to Revolutionmuslim.com, propagates pro-al Qaeda views.

A senior law enforcement source had told CNN Morton was believed to be in Morocco.

A former resident of Brooklyn, Morton is the second person charged in the "South Park" case.

Federal authorities are using words uttered by the co-founder of a radical Islamic group to charge him with threats against the creators of "South Park."

A criminal complaint alleging the communication of threats was filed in Virginia late last week against Jesse Curtis Morton, also known as Younus Abdullah Mohammad.

A senior law enforcement source Thursday told CNN, which interviewed Morton in 2009, that the suspect is believed to be in Morocco, where he maintains Islampolicy.com, an English-language website propagating pro al Qaeda views.

That website is a successor to Revolutionmuslim.com.

Investigative Project:

A second man has been charged in connection with threats made last year against the producers of the Comedy Central program "South Park."

Jesse Curtis Morton, (aka Younus Abdullah Mohammad) is charged with communicating threats. Morton helped run a website, RevolutionMuslim, with Zachary Chesser. Chesser is serving a 25-year prison term after pleading guilty to a similar charge and to trying to provide material support to the Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab.

After a "South Park" episode in April 2010 mocked the violent reaction of radical Islamists by portraying the Prophet Mohammad covered by a bear suit, Chesser posted a statement warning producers Matt Stone and Trey Parker that they "will probably wind up like Theo van Gogh for airing this show."

Van Gogh was a Dutch filmmaker who was killed on an Amsterdam street after producing a short film protesting the treatment of women in Islam.

According to an affidavit from FBI Special Agent Paula Menges, Chesser then collaborated with Morton on a "clarification statement" triggered by media inquiries.

"The Clarification Statement contained pages of justification under Islamic law for the death of those who insult Islam or defame its prophet, and for Muslims to bring about such deaths," Menges wrote. "In it, Morton and Chesser asserted in pertinent part that 'we will never tolerate the mocking or insulting of any one of the prophets,' and explained that the Islamic ruling on this situation was that 'the punishment is death.'"

Though the statement indicated they were not inciting violence, it included a quote from Osama bin Laden that threatened those responsible for Danish cartoons depicting Mohammad with "the freedom of our actions" as payback for their free speech.

That, Menges wrote, crosses the line between protected speech and conveying a threat because it warned Stone and Parker they "would be on the receiving end of actions analogous to those of bin Laden if they refused to change their ways."

The clarification statement included a picture of Van Gogh's body after a stranger killed him "for making a film that was perceived to have insulted Islam." Even if they were not making a direct threat, their statement posted on radical Islamist websites could inspire others to act. "[B]y issuing that statement, they certainly knew that violence was likely to be incited by it anyway."

UPDATE by Rusty: This is a double post so I'm moving most of it below the fold, but check out how the UK media paints the EDL as extremists while those protesting in favor of bin Laden are merely supporters. As I've said many times before, I don't know much about the EDL. Most of the anti-EDL rhetoric I've heard is the kind of connect-the-dots guilt-by-association type stuff that you get from Charles Johnson and company.

To be honest, the more I hear what they actually have to say vs. who their opponents say they really are the more I like them. I think the real problem here is that they tend to say it with a distinct working class accent, something the British elite seem uncomfortable with. But, like I say, I may be wrong.

No movement is pure. If you're looking for purity join a religion, not a political movement. The fact is that they are the only ones brave enough to stand up to bin Laden's real supporters in the UK.

And, yes, these guys really do support bin Laden. Look at this screengrab that SH took of the website that organized this rally.

Update: Via Ed Driscoll there is some evidence that this is just site is parody. I would say look over the site for yourself and, well, given what I know about the ridiculousness of radical Islam, it’s hard to know. For instance on this page they call off a proposed march. But on the other hand, on this page they discuss the Islamic definition for pedophilia, which is death. But then they suggest they do it by impaling them on top of the Washington Monument. Which sounds crazy, but, um… have you ever watched Memri for a week? Have you ever seen respected Egyptian academics suggest that Mossad is controlling sharks? Its really hard to know satire from reality with them.

So, I think the right answer is to classify this as a dubious story. Certainly I cannot stand behind it any longer. And it proves you can’t satirize something that is already ridiculous.

But to be serious for a minute. Time and time again members of this specific social network, and also closely connected to various other branches of this network, have been proven to b e criminals, died in or committed acts of terrorism in the meat world, traveled abroad to join al-Qaeda etc, etc, etc.

That is to say that members of this network and even the network itself has had proven real world results that are not so funny.

We have as much fun making fun of the Jihadis as anyone. But I've an example of those real world results for those who would brush this off as totally ridiculous.

A college dropout and Muslim convert who threatened the creators of the "South Park" cartoon series and then tried to join an Al Qaeda-linked terrorist group in Somalia has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Zachary A. Chesser of Bristow, Va., pleaded guilty last year to supporting the al-Shabab terrorist group in Somalia and posting online threats against the "South Park" creators for an episode he perceived as insulting to the Prophet Muhammad. He was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Alexandria.

The Jewish Chronicle:

Jews were the most frequently targeted minority group in hate crimes in New York State in 2009, according to a report issued by state officials.

Anti-Jewish hate crimes rose by 15 per cent over the previous year and represented more than a third of hate crimes committed in 2009 in the state, the report issued last week by the Criminal Justices Services Division revealed.
The report came as a synagogue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan said it had received a letter on December 30 threatening to blow up the shul on New Year's Eve.

Ohab Zedek, an Orthodox congregation, was one of a dozen synagogues to receive the bomb-threat letters, Rabbi Allen Schwartz told the New York Post. "We have reasons to believe someone wants to spread fear," Mr Schwartz said.
Police evacuated the synagogue - a 1920s building known for its elaborate Moorish architecture - but found no device. They were unable to confirm the threats to other synagogues.

The state report found an across-the-board increase of about 14 per cent in hate crimes reported to the police between 2008 and 2009.

A 46-year-old Indiana grandmother is under investigation for her possible ties to suspected and convicted international terrorists, FoxNews.com has learned.

Muslim-convert Kathie Smith, 46, a U.S. citizen living in Indianapolis who has blogged about her granddaughter, last year married a suspected German jihadist, and has been flying back and forth between the U.S. and Germany as recently as two weeks ago.

A pro-jihadist video featuring Smith and her husband – alongside photos of members of the Islamic Jihad Union charged with plotting failed terror attacks against U.S. targets in Germany -- is being investigated by the Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center. The center is a counterterror intelligence clearinghouse staffed by law enforcement officers from local and federal agencies, including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security.

...On Facebook, he is "friends" with the notorious Al Qaeda English-language online magazine Inspire, thought to be principally authored by American-turned-Muslim radical Samir Khan. Salahudin also has used his online posts to call for the deaths of U.S. citizens, military and government leaders, and recently joined in on another user’s thinly veiled threats against Condoleezza Rice, according to postings discovered by FoxNews.com and screen shots provided by the Jawa Report, a watchdog blog that has been following the online activities of Smith and her husband.

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) --- CBS News reports that the federal government is describing as credible an apparent al Qaeda threat to poison salad bars and buffets at American restaurants and hotels.

The network reports the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies have already briefed representatives of the hotel and restaurant industries about the threat, which is apparently designed to include numerous poisonings over a short period of time in order to have a national impact on consumer behavior.

A spokesman for the Hotel Association of Washington tells 9News Now it has been briefed by DC police and Chief Cathy Lanier about a variety of terrorism threats, but has not received a specific warning about this particular threat to hotel and restaurant food.

CBS reports the threat apparently focuses on the poisons Riciin and Cyanide, the manufacture of which is detailed on jihadist websites.

The plot, tied to the terrorist group al Qaeda of the Arabian Peninsula, falls under the broader al Qaeda plan it refers to as Operation Hemorrhage which one al Qaeda website calls " attacking the enemy with smaller but more frequent operations to add a heavy economic burden to an already faltering economy."

The online al Qaeda magazine Inspire in October called for individual shooting or bombing attacks on Washington-area restaurants at lunch time to injure and kill Americans and harm the economy.

But I would worry a bit about the goat, Ahmed's bathroom habits, the salad bar, and Escherichia coli.

The outlawed Islamist group al-Muhajiroun is openly recruiting near the home of the suicide bomber who blew himself up on a Stockholm street last week, it can be revealed[...]

Unimpeded by the police, the group, now calling themselves "The Reflect Project" are accused of mounting a campaign of intimidation and violence against those who disagree with them.

Followers of the radical cleric Omar Bakri Muhammad, who is currently being held in jail in Lebanon on terror charges, the group are led locally by Ishtiaq Alamgir or "Sayful Islam" – Sword of Islam – a former inland revenue accountant.

It is illegal to be a member of Bakri's organisation after it was outlawed for glorifying terrorism and for outspoken statements praising the "magnificent" 9/11 hijackers.

But his supporters are still setting up a regular stall on the High Street near Abdulwahab's family home to try to recruit more young Muslims to their cause.

Last week, gathered around a trestle table after Friday prayers, Mr Alamgir and a dozen other activists handed out anodyne "Introduction to Islam" leaflets before quickly disappearing when approached by this newspaper.

Carefully written, apparently to avoid breaching anti-terrorism laws, the leaflets' purpose appeared to be to direct prospective recruits to a website containing inflammatory speeches by Bakri and articles against "The terrorist activities of Britain".

I also wonder if they are passing out images of Taimour's dead body as a introduction to Islam?

Could it be that the American people don't understand terrorism, or maybe they are too ignorant to understand the truth? We are at war against terrorism and to deny the fact that we are at war with radical Islam and the institution of the Sharia is nothing short of complete ignorance and foolishness.
