Julian Assmaggot Loses Extradition Appeal

I've seen the allegations against Julian Assange and, frankly, they seem rather weak. In most countries what he did probably wouldn't rise to the level of a crime but would be downgraded to, "I can't believe I was that drunk."

But I don't care. The guy deserves much worse than anything the Swedes can throw at him. It's karma:

Julian Assange has lost his appeal against extradition to Sweden, where the founder of the whistleblowing website WikiLeaks faces allegations of sexual assault.

Britain's High Court Wednesday rejected Assange's appeal against the European arrest warrant that Swedish authorities filed against him last year. That means that the Australian could be extradited to Sweden by month's end, although he is likely to try to take his case to Britain’s Supreme Court.

Thanks to Kenny.

Brits Cost For Camp Al Qaeda? $811 Plus Change

Via MirrorUK:

British Muslims paid £500 a time to fly out to Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan.
Leaked documents [wikileaks..ed] reveal how dozens of young men joined the terror network after visits to the London mosque where hook-handed Abu Hamza preached.

They were introduced to al-Qaeda “fixers” who gave them a visa and ticket to Pakistan.

Recruits were then taken to camps over the Afghan border where they were trained how to use weapons such as AK-47 rifles and rocket launchers – and become suicide bombers.[More]

Hmmm, wonder if they got a keepsake key holder?

Update: Protesters Interrupt Obama to Sing Support for Bradley Manning [Howling Manning Lovin Hippy (Tiffani Hillin) Bonus!]

Update on this post

Video from Wired

Leftist hippy nutzo, Tiffani Hillin, graced the comment thread with her brain on stupid:

Many others are following in Bradley Manning's footsteps, in their own lives. I have been concerned with the abuse of our soldiers for many years now and Bradley's actions have allowed a much larger forum for discussion...For the record: I support US Soldiers. I do not support those that give them their orders and those that trained them to behave the way they do. Two words: "Collateral Murder"[guess she didn't get the MEMO: Jawas debunked it..ed]

hello? I've been looking for something- some SOLID proof of the atrocities of our wars... This is what I've been waiting for for a long time. Are you saying that nothing has changed since "Collateral Murder" was released? Many more soldiers will be motivated to do the right thing because of what he did. Just wait.
And:

If you think what the United States is doing is justified, then you have a right to that opinion. Defend the behavior all you want- but if you ask me, what the soldiers did in "Collateral Murder" was wrong. Though.... I do not blame the soldiers. I blame those that created them. Our soldiers are being abused. I do know this. I heard their voices. When I watched that video, I felt what was going on.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I saw what they did... We all did. (I hope) There is no law or rule that will change my mind. And aside from the horrific video I've already seen... I've heard for years, many veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, describing in tears, situations similar and worse than "Collateral Murder". Show me a law allowing this type of behavior and I'll break it.
There's more, lots more

Stupid beotch, stupid hippy beotch.

Clinton Spokesman: Bradley Manning Being Mistreated (Bumped-Update: Crowley resigns)

Image from Howie's December caption contest

Cry me a river

Hillary Clinton's spokesman has launched a public attack on the Pentagon for the way it is treating military prisoner Bradley Manning, the US soldier suspected of handing the US embassy cables to WikiLeaks.

PJ Crowley, the assistant secretary of state for public affairs at the US state department, has said Manning is being "mistreated" in the military brig at Quantico, Virginia. "What is being done to Bradley Manning is ridiculous and counterproductive and stupid on the part of the department of defence."

Your former boss George Soros must be proud of you, Mr Crowley...

h/t Kenny Solomon

UPDATE: Good riddance to bad rubbish

State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley is out of a job after criticizing the Pentagon last week for its detention of a private accused of feeding hundreds of thousands of documents to WikiLeaks.

Crowley resigned Sunday after also recently angering the White House for comments that he made during the height of the Egyptian crisis that forced President Hosni Mubarak to step down

GW Bush Cancels Appearance at Event, Citing Speaking Invite Sent to Assange

Good on him!

Former President George W. Bush has canceled a planned appearance in Denver tomorrow because WikiLeaks Editor-in-Chief Julian Assange was also extended an invitation to speak[...]

"This week, upon learning that Julian Assange had recently been invited to address the same summit, President Bush decided to cancel his appearance," Bush spokesman David Sherzer said in a statement. "The former president has no desire to share a forum with a man who has willfully and repeatedly done great harm to the interests of the United States."

Oh Noes!! Cablegate: Israel's Sekrit Hotline to the new vice-president of Egypt, Omar Suleiman

WikiLeaks/Telegraph is helping, you see, by publishing this.

Mr Suleiman, who is widely tipped to take over from Hosni Mubarak as president, was named as Israel's preferred candidate for the job after discussions with American officials in 2008.

As a key figure working for Middle East peace, he once suggested that Israeli troops would be "welcome" to invade Egypt to stop weapons being smuggled to Hamas terrorists in neighbouring Gaza.

The details, which emerged in secret files obtained by WikiLeaks and passed to The Daily Telegraph, come after Mr Suleiman began talks with opposition groups on the future for Egypt's government.

Everyone in Egypt loves Israel.../sarc With this new revelation regarding invading Egypt, how much longer will Suleiman be VP? Any bets?

Good News! WikiLeaks Cablegate: US agrees to tell Russia Britain's Nuclear Secrets

Oh my:

Telegraph

Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.

Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.

The fact that the Americans used British nuclear secrets as a bargaining chip also sheds new light on the so-called “special relationship”, which is shown often to be a one-sided affair by US diplomatic communications obtained by the WikiLeaks website[...]

A series of classified messages sent to Washington by US negotiators show how information on Britain’s nuclear capability was crucial to securing Russia’s support for the “New START” deal.

Although the treaty was not supposed to have any impact on Britain, the leaked cables show that Russia used the talks to demand more information about the UK’s Trident missiles, which are manufactured and maintained in the US.

Washington lobbied London in 2009 for permission to supply Moscow with detailed data about the performance of UK missiles. The UK refused, but the US agreed to hand over the serial numbers of Trident missiles it transfers to Britain.

Flashback:

Besides the obvious outrage over what this administration has done, I don't believe Russia is gonna be happy about this leak.

Watch your six Assange, watch your six...

WikiLeaks Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize While Bradley Manning Support Group Member 'ID's' So-called 'Jail Abuser'

Well of of course! Obi One has one too... he reminded everyone when imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo won last year.

A Norwegian lawmaker says he has nominated WikiLeaks for the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize.

Snorre Valen of the Socialist Left Party says the secret-spilling website has promoted human rights, democracy and freedom of speech just like last year's winner, imprisoned Chinese dissident Liu Xiaobo.

Speaking of WikiLeaks, FB has a support group[h/t EF] for traitor Bradley Manning. I thought it was rather interesting that a FB person linked to website which gives name & image of so-called bad person responsible for being mean to Manning.

WikiLeaks Gablegate: FBI hunts the 9/11 gang that got away

cablegate.jpg

Wow..

Telegraph

Secret documents reveal that the three Qatari men conducted surveillance on the targets, provided “support” to the plotters and had tickets for a flight to Washington on the eve of the atrocities.

The suspected terrorists flew from London to New York on a British Airways flight three weeks before the attacks.

They allegedly carried out surveillance at the World Trade Centre, the White House and in Virginia, the US state where the Pentagon and CIA headquarters are located.

Ten days later they flew to Los Angeles, where they stationed themselves in a hotel near the airport which the FBI has now established was paid for by a “convicted terrorist”, who also paid for their airline tickets.

Hotel staff have told investigators they saw pilot uniforms in their room along with computer print outs detailing pilot names, flight numbers and times and packages addressed to Syria, Afghanistan, Jerusalem and Jordan.

This is huge...

WikiLeaks: Did You Know The Leaks Justified Iraq War?

You didn't? Don't feel alone...this isn't something WikiLeaks or the MSM care to delve in. Just a burp in the leaks to be buried.

It.didn't.happen.really

While the media have been quick to run with WikiLeaks’ U.S. State Department cable releases to undermine Washington’s efforts to effect stability in unstable parts of the world, it is slow, if not silent, in giving credit where credit is due. Although other credible sources confirmed it before WikiLeaks did, in receiving similar disinterested responses from the media, it should be clear now that President Bush’s concerns about Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction (WMD) program were well-founded[...]

Five years after Joe Wilson’s op-ed claimed no yellowcake was sold to Iraq — the ease with which Saddam could have snapped his fingers and reinstituted his nuclear program became apparent. In July 2008, in an operation kept secret at the time, 37 military air cargo flights shipped more than 500 metric tons of yellowcake — found in Iraq — out of the country for further transport and remediation to Canada.

The U.S. government is committed to efforts to make the world a safer place by seeking the removal of WMD threats. One would think a press undermining that effort at the time under the guise of freedom of the press would feel an obligation to accurately report the success of such a governmental effort. This should especially be the case after those same media contributed to the false perception Saddam possessed no WMD capability and, therefore, never really posed a serious threat.

As evidenced by the WikiLeaks disclosures, apparently no such obligation is felt.

This post will self destruct in 5...4...3....2...

Video: The Criminal Conspiracy of the Guardian and Wikileaks

WTF?

An Extended version of the above video below fold:

The prevailing view, as reported by the BBC and other news organisations, is that Julian Assange of Wikileaks had released the confidential U.S. files, stolen by Private First Class Bradley Manning, to several newspapers, initially The Guardian, The New York Times and Der Spiegel, thus creating the impression that Assange had masterminded the U.S.'s global humiliation.

However this video shows that the proactive party behind the campaign was actually the British newspaper The Guardian; and that the persons most culpable are the paper's Editor Alan Rusbridger and his Investigations Editor David Leigh.

The video goes on to reveal the anti-American activism of The Guardian's Associate Editor Seumas Milne; and concludes with a clip in which The Guardian is accused of perverting the official inquiry into the "Cash for Questions" political controversy, which helped bring down John Major's Conservative government.

U.N. Concerned About Wikileaks Traitor

From FNC:

The U.S. military told the United Nations on Wednesday that it had nothing to worry about after the world body agreed to look into a complaint about prison conditions for the Army private suspected of dishing secret military and diplomatic computer files to WikiLeaks.

...The Associated Press reported Wednesday that the U.N.'s Geneva office for torture issues was looking into mistreatment complaints filed by supporters of Manning -- the prime suspect in what is believed to be one of the most blatant acts of treason against the United States.

The U.N. is the same body that ignores human rights violations in countries such as Iran. Iran's brutal Evin prison is notorious for abuses and cruelty, yet it continues to operate without so much as a whimper from the United Nations.

This video documents just some of the torture that takes place in Evin prison, which, evidently, the U.N. find less disturbing than Pfc. Bradley Manning being without magazines or a Bowflex.

Twitter Responds To WikiLeaks Document Demand by Feds

Via All Things Digital

Twitter has been ordered by a U.S. federal judge to turn over documents related to several people involved with WikiLeaks to the Justice Department.

Tonight, a Twitter spokeswoman responded to a request for comment on the situation:

“We’re not going to comment on specific requests, but, to help users protect their rights, it’s our policy to notify users about law enforcement and governmental requests for their information, unless we are prevented by law from doing so. We outline this policy in our law enforcement guidelines.”

In an onstage interview I did with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo at a D@CES event last night in Las Vegas, he referenced the issue, but would not give any specifics[Read the rest including the court order/unsealing order]

Miss A and Miss W

(Stockholm, Sweden) Wikileaker Julian Assange's two female accusers have been identified as 31-year-old Anna Ardin, aka Bernardin, and 27-year-old Sofia Wilen.

Anna Ardin --- Sofia Wilen

After discovering that they both had unpleasant sexual experiences with Julian Assange, Ardin and Wilen (called Miss A and Miss W in a British court) went to the police. They described Assange as an aggressive, domineering lover who apparently likes to play rough.

Berkeley to Honor Pfc. Bradley Manning - Updated/Bumped

(Berkeley, California) Stop the presses! Late last night, the Berkeley City Council backed off its effort to give PFC Bradley Manning a medal.

In a 8-0 vote with one abstention, the council tabled the resolution brought by the city's Peace and Justice Commission, mostly because council members said they were reluctant to proclaim a hero someone who has neither admitted to nor been convicted of leaking the information.
One councilman wondered whether giving Manning an award would help convict him. Frankly, I contend what the city of Berkeley does really does not matter in the case.

Presumably, the prosecution of Bradley Manning will be based upon his alleged illegal actions.

Berkeley to Honor Pfc. Bradley Manning
[Previous 12/9/10 post]
(Berkeley, California) A resolution has been submitted to the Berkeley City Council to declare U.S. Army soldier Bradley Manning a hero and call for his immediate release.

The author of the resolution says Manning deserves a medal. Another suggests a metal jacket.

Pfc. Manning, the alleged source of all the WikiLeaks classified documents, is in custody in Virginia.
