An undercover officer responded to the ad and ultimately arrested Finkelstein for prostitution. She was convicted and sentenced to one year of probation. Finkelstein's lawyer appealed the case.

This week, Finkelstein's conviction was overturned by the Pennsylvania Superior Court on the basis that "it's not illegal to be a slut." (Orange County, California) This week, 44-year-old hockey mom Kathia Maria Davis appeared in court to answer charges she liquored up and sexually assaulted her son's hockey teammates, aged 13 and 16.

Davis pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors say Kathia Maria Davis served her two victims alcohol and then engaged them in sex acts, in some cases with her children still in the house.

The two boys – one 13 years old at the time, one 16 – played hockey with her son on the Beach City Lightning youth team, authorities said.

The investigation revealed Daughdrill would engage in inappropriate sexual contact with the boy after picking him up from school without the parents' knowledge.

Stacy Schuler

Schuler has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity and waived her right for a jury trial. The case will be decided by Judge Robert Peeler.

Schuler's attorneys have stated that psychological issues prevented her from knowing what she was doing and the boys took advantage of her. Schuler contends she doesn't remember the sex.

Although Schuler claims insanity, testimony this week indicates that she was planning to plead insanity if her behavior became public. The trial continues today with the defense presenting its case. (More….)

(London, England) A 25-year-old schoolteacher, Katherine Goldberg, has been accused of groping a Virgin Atlantic steward at 33,000 feet and demanding sex after drinking a pint of whisky on a flight from South Africa to England. Apparently, she craved nuts with her cocktails.

Goldberg faces charges of sexual assault and being drunk on an aircraft.

Goldberg, who is of South African heritage, is understood to have been returning from visiting relatives when the alleged incident took place on an Airbus A340-600 at 5.30am British time on August 24.

An Afghan journalist has come out and condemned the practice.

In a recent report, senior Afghan journalist Musa Khan Jalalzai drew attention to the custom of Afghan dancing boys and their sexual exploitation by powerful and wealthy warlords in the country. The report notes that the custom has become a status symbol in Afghanistan.

The report, titled "Male Prostitution in Afghanistan," was published on the website of Daily Outlook Afghanistan newspaper, of which Musa Khan Jalalzai is the executive editor. In his report, ,Jalalzai notes that for those who cannot afford the real thing, DVDs of dancing boys are available in the cities of Kabul, Kandahar, Mazar-e-Sharif, Kunduz, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Panjshir, and Herat.

The report added: "Local residents now have demanded for a crackdown against these elements, but are skeptical because criminals are powerful and well-armed. War criminals have representation in Afghan parliament and in government institutions."

(Staten Island, New York) A 29-year-old science teacher at an all-girls Catholic high school, Danielle Johnsen, has been accused of mixing it up with a 16-year-old student.

Johnsen faces charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

On Feb. 16 and March 2, Johnsen and the straight-A student from the all-girls school on Grymes Hill locked lips while hanging out, according to court papers.

And, on March 13, Johnsen again kissed the girl and shoved her hand down the teen’s pants when they rendezvoused at Johnsen’s Jewett Avenue home in Port Richmond, court documents state.

The shocking affair first came to light after Johnsen called it off with the victim and the depressed teen took to blogging about her heartbreak on Tumblr, a social networking site, sources said.

In a similar but unrelated case in Pennsylvania, a female teacher allegedly sent a sex toy to a female student and pressured her to use it. A teacher at Upper Dublin High School, Cheryl Bremble, 40, reportedly text messaged that she was bisexual and thought the girl was "hot."

Bremble faces multiple sex-related charges.

TRIPOLI — A Libyan woman burst into the hotel housing the foreign press in Tripoli Saturday morning and fought off security forces as she told journalists that she had been raped and beaten by members of the Qaddafi militia. After nearly an hour, she was dragged away from the hotel screaming.

“They say that we are all Libyans and we are one people,” said the woman, who gave her name as Eman al-Obeidy. “But look at what the Qaddafi men did to me.” She displayed a broad bruise on her face, a large scar on her upper thigh, several narrow and deep scratch marks lower on her leg, and marks that seemed to came from binding around her hands and feet.

She said she had been raped by 15 men. “I was tied up and they defecated and urinated on me,” she said. “They violated my honor.”

She pleaded for friends she said were still in custody. “They are still there, they are still there,” she said. “As soon as I leave here they are going to take me to jail.”

For the members of the foreign press here as guests of the government of Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi — and largely confined to the Rixos Hotel except for official outings — her intrusion was a reminder of the brutality of the Libyan government and the presence of its security forces even among the surrounding hotel staff. People in hotel uniform who just hours before had been serving coffee and clearing plates grabbed table knives and rushed to physically constrain both the woman and the journalists.

(Nashville, Tennessee) In February 2008, former high school gym teacher Pamela Turner (aka Pamela Rogers) filed a formal parole request to be released after less than two years of her eight-year sentence.

The Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole and an appellate court decided that she should wait six years before parole would be considered. Consequently, an appeal to the Tennessee Supreme Court was sought.

Yesterday, the Tennessee Supreme Court refused to hear the Turner/Rogers appeal.

Therefore, 33-year-old Pamela Turner aka Rogers will continue to serve her sentence until 2014 in Nashville at the Tennessee Prison for Women. With credit for good behavior, she may be eligible for release in 2013. Heh.

Convicted and sentenced to prison for molesting a 13-year-old boy, Rogers has some cell time behind her and now she wants out after completing less than one-fourth of her term.

Apparently, prison doesn't agree with gorgeous Pamela Rogers.

As a reminder:

- In August 2005, 28-year-old Pamela Rogers was sentenced to a lenient nine months in jail for engaging in sex with a 13-year-old student.

- In February 2006, Rogers was released on probation after six months in jail.

- In April 2006, Rogers was arrested for violating her probation by contacting her victim. She was released on bail.

- Later in April 2006, Rogers was arrested again for violating her probation by sending sexually explicit videos to her victim by cameraphone. Bail was denied.

- In July 2006, Rogers was sent to prison to serve a term of seven years.

A final decision by the parole board is expected in the "coming weeks."

Cairo, Egypt (CNN) -- Several months before the revolution, I wrote a piece for CNN.com on the sexual harassment of women in Cairo.

News of the chilling attack on CBS reporter Lara Logan, as well as other sexual assaults against women during Egypt's uprising, show that attacks against women have not gone away.

I speak from experience. While most of my days covering Tahrir Square during the last few weeks were free from harassment, there was one day when I was groped. Another colleague almost had her pants ripped off by a gang of thugs.

If you are a woman living in Cairo, chances are you have been sexually harassed. It happens on the streets, on crowded buses, in the workplace, in schools, and even in a doctor's office.

This incident was minor compared to what happened in 1994, shortly after I moved here. It was winter, and I was walking home from the office, dressed in a big, baggy sweater, and jacket. A man walked up to me, reached out, and casually grabbed my breast.

In a flash, I understood what the expression to "see red" meant. I grabbed him by the collar and punched him hard in the face. I held on to him, and let out a stream of expletives. His face grew pale, and he started to shake. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry," he whispered.

A top level inquiry is being carried out by police into claims that a gang of Asian men groomed girls as young as 13 for sex. It is understood that some of Greater Manchester Police’s most senior officers have met to discuss the allegations.

We understand that so far 14 girls have been identified as potential victims. The girls claim they were plied with drink and drugs and then taken to flats and houses for sex.

Police said the girls are all white and aged 13 to 15 and at least one had been in the care of Rochdale Social Services. It is understood some of the girls were missing from home. An inquiry was started after some of them alerted police.

Details of the investigation were revealed just days after former home secretary Jack Straw sparked controversy when he said some Asian men were targeting young white girls in an unrelated case.

The investigation was launched by officers in the Rochdale division but has now been passed to GMP’s Major Incident Team because of the serious nature and potential volume of the offences.

(Clinton, Tennessee) Former Clinton High School teacher, 27-year-old Megan Baumann (right), pleaded guilty this week to engaging in sexual contact with three male students, all older than 13 but under 18.

Baumann was convicted on charges of statutory rape by an authority figure, sexual battery by an authority figure, and two counts of displaying sexually explicit material to minors.

Baumann was sentenced to three years in prison.

Arguably, licentious female teachers are trending toward mixing it up with multiple students as opposed to just one. At least some female teachers are treating their classrooms as personal candy stores stocked with adolescent boy toys.

(Oakland, Michigan) Thirty-six-year-old Aimee Louise Sword has pleaded guilty to tracking down and engaging in sex with her long-lost son.

According to the plea agreement, Sword pleaded guilty to one count of criminal sexual conduct while two counts were dropped.

Police say Sword used the Internet in 2008 to find her biological son, whom she had given up for adoption more than 10 years before.

The 16-year-old boy testified at a preliminary exam in January that Sword had sex with him in Grand Rapids and Waterford.
