Jesse Morton, a convert to Islam also known as Younus Abdullah Mohammad, plans to appear in federal court in Alexandria, Va., on Thursday, his lawyer told Politico. He will plead guilty to conspiracy, communicating threats, and internet stalking, Politico reported. Each felony carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.

The Taliban in Afghanistan depend on Pakistan for support, even though they do not necessarily welcome it, a secret NATO report says, according to a journalist who has read it.

"It is a marriage of convenience," Times of London reporter Jerome Starkey said Wednesday, citing the report. The Taliban see Pakistan as manipulative, but they see no alternative to accepting its support, he said.

The Taliban are absolutely confident of victory, he said the report found, based on 27,000 interviews with over 4,000 detainees ranging from senior Taliban commanders to Afghan civilians.

They also include mid- and low-level Taliban, al Qaeda, and foreign fighters, he said.

The leaked NATO document revives the longstanding accusation that elements in Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence agency are aiding the insurgency in Afghanistan.

It says the ISI knows the whereabouts of all senior Taliban commanders, Starkey said.

A member of the newly elected Egyptian parliament has called for al Qaeda's emir to return to the country "with his head held high and safely."

Aboud al Zomor, who served as the first emir of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad and was later imprisoned for his role in President Anwar Sadat's assassination, said that he welcomes Ayman al Zawahiri's return to Egypt and that he would be given safe haven, according to a report published yesterday in Al-Sharq Al-Awsat. The report was translated from Arabic by the Foundation For Defense of Democracies.

"When asked if he saw any danger in al Zawahiri's return, al Zomor said that 'he was not a threat to Egypt, the likes of al Zawahiri differed with the previous regime and they were only a danger for this regime and not for Egypt, and now he is liberating Afghanistan and Iraq...'" the report stated. Zomor also lamented that the US would be opposed to Zawahiri's return to Egypt.

Zomor denied having direct contact with members of al Qaeda, and claims to have renounced violence.

"I've distanced myself from that currently because I took the political line and closed the page on the past, as a result of which doors to peaceful action opened for us," he told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.

Zomor is one of the primary founders of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, the terrorist group that merged with al Qaeda. Zawahiri succeeded Zomor as the group's emir and presided over its merger with bin Laden's terror group in the 1990s.

Salam rejected his relatives' moderate faith and comfortable life, choosing instead a path that led him to work for al-Qaida. His odyssey ended late last year in a middle-of-the-night explosion in Pakistan. The 37-year-old father of four was dead after paramilitary troops stormed his apartment.

It also stresses the importance that al-Qaeda places on internet propaganda and communications.

He established diffuse Jihadi media groups and trained his brothers who followed the path of the Jihadi media. He administrated many websites and Jihadi forums, and he guided and planned and attacked the enemy masterfully. He led the Jihadi forums and websites of splendor, attacking the strongholds of arrogance and infidelity, weakening the determination of its troops, and sabotaging their great media plans”

In addition, it's nice that he was killed in Pakistan. It saves listening to all that bullshit crap about targeting and killing al-Qaeda members who also happen to be US citizens.

British police say 22 people have been arrested outside of the US embassy in London during a protest over the use of military drones in Pakistan.

Scotland Yard confirmed the arrests on Friday at the demonstration organised by a group calling itself United Ummah.

The demonstration was advertised as a gathering that would include Friday prayers outside of the US embassy to draw attention to "the murder of Muslims with drones".

News is starting to leak about the arrest this weekend of a New York City man who planned to bomb police and military facilities. The NY Post reports:

The NYPD and Manhattan DA’s office have arrested a terror suspect who was planning to bomb city police facilities and US military sites, where he plotted to target returning war personnel and the families who gathered to welcome them home, The Post has learned.

The suspect, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested after he actually purchased bomb-making materials, sources said. He’d been on the authorities’ radar for about a year, the sources said.

It wasn’t immediately clear exactly where he planned to attack.

We can report here exclusively at PJM that the man arrested is Jose Pimentel of Harlem. On his Facebook page he describes himself as:

Home Secretary Theresa May is banning Muslims Against Crusades, a group planning an anti-Armistice Day protest.

The organisation had planned to repeat a demonstration seen last year, when members burned poppies near to London's Albert Hall.

Mrs May's order, which comes into force at midnight, makes membership or support of the group a criminal offence.

The organisation is closely linked to a host of other previously-banned groups.

...Muslims Against Crusades is the latest incarnation of the organisation originally set up by extremist preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed, who fled the UK six years ago.

...Its previous incarnations, Al Ghurabaa, The Saved Sect, Al Muhajiroun and Islam4UK are all proscribed groups.

Anjem Choudary, the leading public figure in the organisation, accused the government of attempting to cover up the truth.

Recent posts there included one by Abu Izzadeen asking of the assassination of President Barrack Obama was legal. Izzadeen, born Trevor Brooks, has since been arrested for violating the conditions of his early release from prison. He was serving time for supporting terrorism.

The essay, posted on the website he once ran, sounds like it was written by a 9th grader who has read a few Chomsky books and attended a free lecture or two down at the used book & hemp supply shop where grad students in American studies hang out.

But in between incoherent rants about the First amendment and Samuel Huntington's Clash of Civilizations, Younes reveals who the "real" culprits are in his prosecution:

It is not impossible to ascertain who her advisors were; I started receiving calls from a coalition of Zionist lawyers from the beginning of the affair. Trevor "Shaikh Abdullah Faisal" Forrest served time in the UK for calling for the murder of non-Muslims before being deported back to Jamaica. So, when I learned that he would be speaking about The Empire Strikes back at an upcoming online conference sponsored by Islam Policy (formerly "Revolution Muslim"), a website once run by several convicted terrorists, I got a tingle up my leg.

More importantly, I can't wait to hear Shaikh Faisal's thoughts on Luke yelling, "Noooooooo!" in the big Vader reveal scene on the Blue Ray edition. Surely George Lucas deserves hellfire for this abomination!!

Today's specimen is Abu Hadeed (shown here using his Youtube nickname). All jihobist like him try to strong arm you into accepting their rhetoric and most end up in jail where they believe they are the 'aseerun'. Anyway he is begging to make his point public so I will give him a platform. Interesting is the amount of times in his posts that he insults Khaleeji Arabs and uses terms like greasy & slimy. Seems to be a classic case of self hate,failure and blame it on the kuffar. You be the judge and don't forget to join his network,because indeed birds of a feather flock together.

Since Yousef had his falling out with the Jihad community they have turned their hatred against him as well. As they say politics make strange bedfellows.

In fact I'm of the opinion that even though I don't trust Yousef any further than I can throw him, his knowledge and expertise would be invaluable in the fight against terrorism and the spread of al-Qaeda propaganda.

We keep our focus tight here, for the most part we only direct our ire at known designated terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and those who advocate for murder and terrorism against civilians. Civilians just like Joey.

Why don't you come with us? You're pretty good in a fight. We could use you.

A group of British Islamists, Muslims Against Crusades, may have just stepped over the line of "free speech". Notice the "red spot" on Obama's forehead and the image of a sniper on the left.

Anjem Choudary, one of the groups leaders, knows damn well radical Muslims are upset over the killing of bin Laden and Awlaki. He is using this to light a fire under them. And that, my friends, is sedition and solicitation of murder:

President Barack Obama is treading on very thin ice. In the space of less than half a year he has proceeded to murder what are probably two of the most influential Muslim men in modern day history: Sheikh Usamah bin Laden (rh) and the US citizen Sheikh Anwar al Awlaki (rh)

His brazen attacks and cowardly drone strikes have shattered any hope of reconciliation, for he has made it clear: America is out to shoot and kill and is taking no prisoners. No negotiations, no rule of law, no due process – nothing.

Human rights and justice have lost all relevance in Obama’s war, as assassination takes over as his preferred weapon of choice. He has managed to convince the whole world that he is right, that murder, rape and torture can be justified as long as you can be labelled as the enemy. Are his actions to be taken as an example for other US citizens to imitate? In light of this we would like to introduce a new question into the psyche of the West by asking: “Is the assassination of President Barack Obama now legal?” What we mean by this is, if the President of America were to be caught off-guard in Washington or St Louis, would his death be justified given his new criteria in light of his horrific track record against Islam and Muslims and his own confessions?

If the answer is no, then we ask, why not? And if the answer is, yes, then we ask how many people would be likely to want to repeat the horrors of 1963 against this very evil man?

Antonio Martinez — aka Muhammad Hussein -- the man who failed to blow up a military recruiting station in Maryland was an online fanboy of the New York based Revolution Muslim website. Martinez thus joins the ranks of a growing number of former Revolution Muslim authors and readers now behind bars.

One of the websites founders, Jesse "Younes Abdullah Muhammad" Morton, is in a Moroccon jail awaiting extradition to the US. The other founder, Joseph "Yousef al Khattab" Cohen, is now a college student in New York who claims he didn't really think people would take his pro-al Qaeda and Taliban statements seriously.

In a response to Martinez's lawyers motion to have evidence suppressed, the AG's office filed a lengthy rebuttal in which new details in the case emerged. One of those details confirms what we had earlier suspected: that Martinez was self-radicalized through the internet, specifically through the Revolution Muslim website. From the response:

For example, the defendant’s Facebook “Friends” included two radical Islamist websites affiliated with a radical group called Revolution Muslim: Call to Islam...

While on the Internet, the defendant was observed viewing the Revolution Muslim website, watching a video of Osama bin Laden speaking, and watching
multiple jihadist training camp-type video clips....

The allegedly "reformed" co-founder of the Revolution Muslim website definitely answers the question of whether or not he still wants to kill all Israelis. The statement was written after several MSM reports claiming Yousef al Khattab had become a "moderate".

And although some of his Muslim friends tried to convince him violent jihad wasn't the way to go, he seems to have received a different message online by Omar Bakri Mohammad and Awar al-Awlaki:

no one influenced him towards jihad and local Imams tried to talk him out of it - he listened to online scholars, like al-Aulaqi, who spoke about the duty to wage jihad - he accepted the form of jihad that meant being passionate about armed struggle in the path of Allah...

Also during this meeting, the defendant referred to Anwar al-Aulaqi as his beloved sheikh” ...

He made reference to “Muhammad Omar Bakri,” whom he said was calling for jihad

Zainab Alhusni was a simple seamstress in Syria, well-loved by all her neighbors and friends. Now, in a tragic turn of events, she has become a symbol of the cruelty gripping that conflict-wracked nation.

Her older brother, Mohammed, became a well-known activist in the family's hometown of Homs in western Syria, often leading the demonstrations against embattled Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and treating the wounded.

On September 10, the family says, Mohammed was wounded in a demonstration. He came back to his loved ones a corpse. The family believes he was tortured to death.
In a statement posted to YouTube, another brother, Yousif Alhusni, describes multiple gunshot wounds to Mohammed's chest and a single shot through his mouth.

"His arms were broken and there were cigarette burns to his face," he adds.
The family went to collect Mohammed's body from a hospital when doctors told them another unclaimed body with the label "Zainab Alhusni" had been kept in the morgue's freezer for some time.

When the family received the body, her head and arms had been chopped off. Chunks of her flesh were charred, appearing in places to have been melted or burned down to the bone.

Jesse "Younes Abdullah Muhammad" Morton with friend and convicted terrorist Zachary "Abu Talhah al-Amriki" Chesser in front of the White House

Revolution Muslim & Islam Policy co-founder, Younes Abdullah Muhammad, has confirmed that he is being detained in Morocco awaiting extradition to the US.

We reported that he had been charged with threatening the creators of South Park earlier this year. It is not known whether more charges are pending against Younes, but I wouldn't discount it.

This according to a letter published on the Islamic Awakening forum:

As I belive all of you know, I am presently incarcerated in Morocco and awaiting extradition to the U.S. on criminal charges.

The close associate of several convicted terrorists, including Zachary Chesser (pictured with Muhammad above), Younes -- born Jesse Morton before he converted to Islam and changed his name -- then begs for the radicals on the forum to help him by sending money:

A Nigerian student dubbed the "underwear bomber" was testy and uncooperative during jury selection today in a Detroit federal court, shouting "jihad" and "Osama's alive," the Detroit Free Press reports.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 24, is accused of trying to blow up a Detroit-bound jetliner on Christmas day 2009 with a bomb hidden in his underwear.

Au­thor­ities have charged that Abdulmutallab is an al-Qaeda op­erative who trained in Yemen for the suic­ide mis­sion, which was foiled when a pas­sen­ger subdued him.

He faces nu­mer­ous crim­inal charges, including con­spir­acy to commit terror­ism, and could get life in prison if convicted. His trial is to get underway Oct. 11 and should take about two weeks, according to Free Press reporters David Ashenfelter and Tresa Baldas.

"Osama's alive," Abdulmutallab shouted as he entered the courtroom. "I'm forced to wear prison clothes."

All indications are that Abdulmutallab intends to make the jury's decision a quick and easy one.

Alleging he was in contact with a Seattle terrorism suspect, King County prosecutors have filed assault charges against a Lynwood man accused of attempting to run a uniformed Marine sergeant off the road.

Filing charges Tuesday, prosecutors claim Michael D. McCright swerved at a government-owned sedan carrying the uniformed sergeant and another noncommissioned officer on July 12. The men were uninjured, and were able to report the license plate of McCright’s Geo Metro to the Washington State Patrol.

In charging papers, prosecutors claim McCright – who allegedly goes by the alias Mikhial Jihad[sp, s/b Mikhail..ed] – had been in contact with Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, who, along with another man, is accused of forming a plot to attack the South Seattle military processing station.

Investigators have confirmed that the cell phone used by the defendant … was used on at least three occasions to contact Abdul-Latif prior to Latif’s arrest by federal authorities,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Gary Ernsdorff said in court documents. “The FBI is continuing to investigate defendant McCright’s possible connection to domestic terrorism.”[...]

Tarek Mehanna, the Sudbury resident accused in a 2010 indictment of conspiring to kill American troops in Iraq, will ask a judge today to dismiss some of the charges accusing him of providing support to al Qaeda, the Associated Press is reporting in the Sacramento Bee.

The report says Mehanna's lawyers will argue today at Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston that most of his activities are protected by the First Amendment in relation to free speech.

We are in a time of war you know. The enemy's propaganda network is a fair and crucial target. No war is ever fought, won or lost without propaganda.

Like clockwork, Mehanna's family defends him as a nice boy who just completed his graduate work to become a pharmacist. What his family may or may not know is that Mehanna goes by the online handle "Abu Sayaba" and runs the "Iskandari" website which is devoted to promoting the Salafi ideology.

For instance, Tarek "Abu Sayaba" Mehanna has, literally, dozens of posts recounting the words of Abdullah Azzam, the intellectual backbone of al Qaeda. Also among his favorite authors are Sayyid Qutb.

In addition to friends like Maldanado who has been convicted on terrorism related charges, Mehanna's online buddies include:

And so on and so forth. In other words, the people he associated himself with online are either a) actively engaged in violent jihad; or b) actively engaged in supporting violent jihad through the distribution of terrorist propaganda.

His chances of having this dismissed runs about the same as former Revolution Muslim Emir Zack Chesser who plead guilty to Material Support for similar dissemination and advocacy for al-Qaeda.

I put them at zero/zilch/nada unless his lawyer feels he's gotten a sympathetic liberal judge. Its clear he agreed with al-Qaeda, tried to join the Jihad and wrote many times in support of al-Qaeda and its war against the United States.

An internet blogger has been jailed for 12 years after admitting soliciting the murder of MPs who had voted in favour of the Iraq War.

Bilal Zaheer Ahmad, 23, from Wolverhampton, was also sentenced for other terrorism offences.

Prosecutors at Bristol Crown Court said Ahmad had used a website called revolutionmuslim.com to encourage others to attack MPs.

The website has since been closed down by the authorities in the US.

Sentencing Ahmad, the judge, Mr Justice Royce, described him as a "viper in our midst" and said he was "willing to go as far as possible to strike at the heart of our system".

The judge told him: "Whatever our views on the Iraq War, we are a democracy.

Expect more to come on that soon.

Despite the Norway killings, Representative Peter T. King, the New York Republican who is chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said he had no plans to broaden contentious hearings about the radicalization of Muslim Americans and would hold the third one as planned on Wednesday. He said his committee focused on terrorist threats with foreign ties and suggested that the Judiciary Committee might be more appropriate for looking at non-Muslim threats.

A Muslim group in the United Kingdom has launched a campaign to turn twelve British cities – including what it calls "Londonistan" – into independent Islamic states. The so-called Islamic Emirates would function as autonomous enclaves ruled by Islamic Sharia law and operate entirely outside British jurisprudence.

The Islamic Emirates Project, launched by the Muslims Against the Crusades group, names the British cities of Birmingham, Bradford, Derby, Dewsbury, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Sheffield, as well as Waltham Forest in northeast London and Tower Hamlets in East London as territories to be targeted for blanket Sharia rule.

But Michelle Malkin is reporting that the Taliban later denied their own press release, claiming phone hacking by US intelligence.

KABUL: Two Taliban spokesmen said their mobile phones had been hacked and false text messages sent out on Wednesday reporting the death of the movement’s supreme leader Mullah Omar, who is still alive.

“This is the work of American intelligence, and we will take revenge on the telephone network providers,” said spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, when contacted by Reuters to confirm the veracity of one text message.

The messages came from phone numbers used in the past by both Mujahid and a second spokesman Mohammad Qari Yousuf and said “spiritual Leader Mullah Mohammad Omar Mujahid has died” and “May Allah bless his soul”.

Really I fail to see a down side in this, either Mullah Omar is dead or...... the Taliban are so effing owned on the internet its not even funny.

What am I saying? Yes it is funny.

In fact I can't stop laughing..... really.

Update: It appears the Taliban have totally lost control of their website. The "fake Mullah Omar" announcement still appears on their English version of the new website which is hosted in the Netherlands.

Darn you'd have thought they'd have been safe there.

Nope. LOL.

Urban terrorism in India has become synonymous with a group calling itself Indian Mujahedeen (IM) that claimed responsibility for at least four blasts this year. Added to its attacks in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, and New Delhi, the latest target seems to be Mumbai on July 13.

Police believe that improvised explosive devices (IED) were used to trigger the blasts which coincided with the birthday of Ajmal Kasab, the lone Pakistani gunman in the 2008 Mumbai attack, an operation for which he has been sentenced to death. The latest terror attack, which claimed about 20 lives, comes only hours after two other suspected Indian Mujahedeen operatives, who provided vehicles used in the 2008 serial blasts in Gujarat that killed 56 people, were arrested in a Mumbai suburb by the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS).

Indian analysts believe that the IM emerged from militant elements in the Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) supported by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Bangladesh-based Harkat-ul-Jihad-Islami (HUJI-B). SIMI and IM endorse the goals of Osama bin Laden and also seek to provoke an Islamist revolution by India’s Muslims. SIMI/IM has long-standing ties to global Islamist organizations, including LeT and Harkat-ul-Jihad-Islami (HUJI), as well as Pakistani intelligence agencies.

Some have suggested that IM does not exist at all as an independent group but is instead an effort by Pakistan’s external intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), to project an Indian face to the activities of Pakistan-based militant groups.

Two US men were indicted Thursday on nine conspiracy and weapons-related charges over a plot to commit a Fort Hood-style massacre at a Seattle military site, the Justice Department said.

The men, who are reportedly converts to Islam, planned to use machine guns and grenades to kill as many people as possible at a military processing center that also houses a day care facility.

Their aim was to inspire other Muslims to carry out similar attacks and one has been allegedly caught on tape saying: "Imagine how fearful America will be, and they'll know they can't push the Muslims around."

Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif, 33, also known as Joseph Davis, and 32-year-old Walli Mujahidh, aka Frederick Domingue, Jr. were charged with "conspiracy to murder officers and agents of the United States," the Justice Department said.

Remember, these are weak ties, not evidence that Abdul-Latif associated in the real world with any of these people - he didn't need to. That's the point. Given the kind of people Abdul-Latif is connected to, he really ought to have been on somebody's radar. That's not a reflection on the folks in the Seattle JTTF, who turned in a stellar performance. Update: I'm getting conflicting reports, Both NBC and CBS are reporting that a "device" was found and rendered safe. Other reports at this time do not confirm any device.

Ozarks First: CBS News - A suspicious item found inside a vehicle near the Pentagon has been "disrupted" and "rendered safe," a law enforcement official has told CBS News.

The U.S. Park Police have in custody a man believed to be connected to the item, according to Park Police spokesman Sgt. David Schlosser.

The incident began when a man -- believed to be a naturalized US citizen who came to the US from Ethiopia -- was found in the nearby Arlington National Cemetery overnight Thursday. The man was arrested at the scene.

Also its being reports that a notebook and suspicious devices were located in various places, although not in the car itself at this point.

Authorities reportedly found al Qaeda-related statements, a backpack initially believed to contain ammonium nitrate, and spent 9mm shells at the scene, ABC's "Good Morning America" reported.

A notebook containing words including "al Qaeda" and Taliban" was found at the scene, FOX News Channel reported.

CBS News reported that the arrested man was suspected of planting several suspicious devices around the Pentagon, the Arlington National Cemetery and the Iwo Jima Memorial.

US Park Police Sergeant David Schlosser said at a news conference early Friday law enforcement authorities were conducting sweeps of the Pentagon, the cemetery and the memorial.

"We're pretty early in this right now so were going to be doing sweeps. We're coordinating our efforts to make sure that the entire area is safe," Schlosser said.

DEVELOPING: The man in custody for carrying a backpack with "suspicious items and products" inside Arlington National Cemetery overnight is a U.S. Marine Corps reservist, military and law enforcement sources tell Fox News.

Yonathan Melaku, a Lance Corporal Marine corps reservist who lives in Virginia and who is Muslim, has been identified as the suspect in custody, Fox News has learned.

Sources close to the investigation also said a notebook believed to belong to the man was found containing threatening phrases like "Al Qaeda," "Taliban rule" and "defeated coalition forces."[More]

I'm not sure what to make of this guy yet. Given that he was arrested in a string of car vandalisms, what does that say about his intentions? I'm not sure.

Especially now that "nothing suspicious" (h/t: Doug Powers) was found in the car and that whatever was in his backpack was "inert". Dry run? Playing jihadi at night by himself in a cemetery? An al Qaeda super-spooky seance? I really don't know.

Maybe he is a lone wolf carrying out the aspirations of al Qaeda which hopes to provoke small scale operations. But if that is the case then it is our good fortune that most of the kinds of people susceptible to such provocation are morons.
