Obama Kills Keystone XL

Its clear Obama hates America. He hates the little guy who is fueling his car trying to get to work. American's have done all they can. We've increased fleet efficiency more than any other country. We've scrimped, saved and conserved. And just about the time we are making a difference we get f*cked again.

This November this man has to go.

And what bugs me the most about it is that Obama is the least visible President I can remember. Yeah you hear about this or that, but you never see the man interacting daily with the press or the people. He likes to govern from behind closed doors and delegate in between teleprompter speeches and campaign fundraising.

Which shows an opening. Obama can't engage with the press and public very well outside of a campaign. A candidate that can draw press and interact on a daily basis over the long term can steal the bully pulpit right out from under Obama's nose.

I'm not sure Romney has that. But Gingrich might. The press hates him so much they'll hunt him all the way to hell and back. He could use this to engage on a daily basis for the long run. He's done it before. He's been there.

But whatever happens Obama has to go and your vote in congress has to count this time. Otherwise we'll all be sitting in the poor house with another four years of this crap. You can only hang on so long with the president jumping up and down on your fingers telling you, "Its not that far down."

Yet Another Gadhafi Death Video

Another cell phone video of Moammar Gadhafi either already dead or very close to it. Warning: very graphic.

As a matter of commentary: are cell phone's with cameras so ubiquitous that dictator snuff videos will now be commonplace?

Sandcrawler PSA: Its a Deal

It appears my threat to take it out of someone's ass if the government did not get its sh*t together was pretty effective.

I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't have to drive to DC and stuff.... But its pretty certain that we'll have another chance. Or probably one a week from now on.

Don't let up on em folks. We keep this up for 10 years, we can keep the good old USA on top of the heap, defeat bin-Laden's plan to run us broke like the USSR.

And remember DC, if we work our asses off for years and years to put this country fiscally on track.... and then you blow it.....again...

We're taking it out of your ass.

Bonus rant.

And if I hear any bullshit about you're worried about what it would mean if the government carried a surplus somewhere down the line. If it gets too big you can always mail us a check.

W. Was Right

If you toppled Saddam and placed a free democracy in the middle east, it would have a huge influence on the people there and they too would cry for freedom.

For the record, I opposed the idea on the Pandora's box argument.

I bet that really burns the lefty asses. They will never ever mention that.

And also I have one other thought this morning. If the Israelis need to return Judea (west bank) then we need to give Berkeley back to Mexico. Make it right on the border. That way they can be the ones picking up all the heads in the AM.

Dear Pakistan: Aafia Siddiqui (aka Lady al-Qaeda) Was Found Guilty

Fecking deal with it. Her lawyers aren't bullied as you say, asking for her release.

She was found guilty in our court (U.S.), acted like a beotch the whole time, threatened jurors during the trial, so let it feckin rest.

She is not innocent, Raymond Davis's release from Pakistan had nothing to do with her.

She wanted to kill and was busted.............deal with it!

She is a terrorist, not a damn stay at home Mom with a degree.

She was NOT raped and beaten while in detention.

Don't you have the Taliban to deal with?

Bitch about them for gawd sake.

Are they not killing other Muslims in your country?

Fecking damn idiots killing people over Koran burning but too chicken sh*t to demonstrate against the Taliban/alQaeda

"Free Aafia Siddiqui" bs is getting old.

Free yourselves from political Islam for gawd sake.

Stupid idiots anyway..get a feckin life!

Feckin tired of shit in my email complaining about her prison sentence

Yes, this is a rant...and now, end of rant

My Take on Pastor Jones Koran Burning & Aftermath

Radical [in prison] Islamist Zachary "Abu Talhah al-Amrike" Chesser: "May Allah kill Matt Stone and Trey Parker and burn them in Hell for all eternity. They insult our prophets Muhammad, Jesus, and Moses"

"Theo Van Gogh - Have Matt Stone and Trey Parker forgotten this?"

#1. Jones wanted publicity
#2. YouTube[complete with Arabic titles] & MSM provided it: Terry Jones is a homophob[A bit ironic when it comes to Islam eh?]
#3. People died
#4. Proved his point
#5 MSM asked 'why didn't Christians condone condemn[oops] this when Jones first burnt the Koran?
#5. Muslims, not the crazy Pastor Jones, killed those people. He burned a book

In essence, where is the MSM when Christians are attacked in Muslim dominated countries? Some are accused of desecrating the Koran and pay for it with their lives. The only Christian official in Pakistan was murdered because he stood up for changing blasphemy laws. The lawyer who was defending a Christian woman for blasphemy was also murdered. Where is the MSM on this? What about the Coptic Christians in Egypt? Did they burn a Koran?

What about here in the U.S. where artist's demean Christians? Again, where is the MSM on this? Piss Christ, we have it here. Jesus image covered with feces, we have it here. Some schools forbid wearing the cross in school, we have it here. I could go on and on.

The Jawa Report has beheading archives. Did those beheaded, including Americans, burn the Koran? We also have a hostage archive. Did those hostages, including Americans, burn a Koran?

Are we so afraid of offending that we lose site of our 1st Amendment rights? This is a slippery slope we don't want to go down. The UN would like nothing better to pass a resolution, with this administrations approval, that would make it a crime to offend Muslims disguised as 'religious organizations'.

I don't condone what the pastor did but I will fight for his right to do it. When that right is taken away, then what? Remember the cartoonist Molly Norris who started Everybody Draw Mohammed day in protest of limits of free speech [think South Park], she drew innocent images 'is this Mohammed' with a cup, spool of thread, etc. Yemini al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki issued a fatwa against her. Where is she now? She is in hiding is where..

Does winning the hearts of minds of Muslims in the ME mean we have to give up our 1st Amendment rights? Does winning the hearts and minds of Muslims mean our female soldiers have to wear the hijab instead of their helmets? How safe would they have been if they had been confronted with angry Muslims over the burning of the Koran?

Sadly, the protesters in Afghanistan and Pakistan feel safe in their protests against us and other western countries because they know we are not going to kill them for protesting. Radicals took over in the UN incident and lives were lost including two of the protesters. Until mass protests against the Taliban, al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups start we are in a limbo. Until...

Brigitte Gabriel says it best, Because They Hate

It doesn't matter what we do..it will never be enough until other Muslims stand up against radical Muslims who wish to harm them and us.

Lots more to say but end of rant

That is all.

The Wisconsin Protests, Budgets, Debt and The End of the World

Personally I was frustrated last week that the Wisconsin protests were such a big issue.

I really don't see the big problem. What Scott Walker is facing is an empty pocket book. And he's facing it way before it gets to be a gargantuan problem. Unlike some of the neighboring states around him. But then you get folks who just can't understand "out of money". The union protesters mainly.

What is wrong with the Unions is the same thing that screws everything up. Politics. The leadership does not give a rat's behind about the long term future of their members. They'll tell them anything to get re-elected and get the perks. They will kill the goose that laid the golden egg just like the Auto Unions did.

I've seen this from both sides. From a Union who had to learn to compete with damned good non-Union contractors to survive. And they did. To an HR rep telling folks in a small town, who already out earned everyone else there, yeah you can have that for three years but we'll have to close afterward. What did they vote for? Three years. They could have made A LOT MORE MONEY over time had they voted for the long term health of the Goose.

But what do you do when you lay it all out there and the union leadership says, Oh they are FOS?

I've always been for the simple solution of divide your income by your budget and then cut ALL SPENDING to match your income. Of course you can't skip out on the interest on your debt. But the solution is to pay it off.

Then folks will say, OMG you will create a depression, A deflationary spiral that will end the world as we know it!. Yeah but afterward the new start will be real. Growth for the sake of growth is worth exactly Jack Squat if its all leveraged to China. If your mortgage is greater than the value of your home, you may have a fancy home but it belongs to the bank and guess what you're the bank's beotch.

Anyway it seems to me very important international stories are being overshadowed by spoiled teachers, American Idol Wannabes and government employees who can't figure out what, "I'm out of money", means. They will have to learn. And yeah its going to hurt, hurt a lot. But in the end we have everything to gain. We can buy back our independence that we were once so proud of before we used it as collateral to mortgage our kids' future.

It is a crying shame that something so simple and obvious sucks up so much of our political energy and time.

If GHWB, Slick Willie and Newt fixed this once, WTF is wrong with our current crop of politicians?

Current Mood: Hoarding Ammo

Call me an alarmist. That's cool. You might be right. But with Hizbollah taking over in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and the possibility that the Muslim Brotherhood takes over in Egypt lots of old Sunday school lessons on pre vs. post-tribulational premillenialism comes to mind.

I've always been inclined toward the latter over the former. Mostly because I'm a pessimist by nature. Since none of the arguments seem very good, and with a track record of nearly 0/100 going all the way back to Paul himself, I might as well arbitrarily pick the one suited to my nature: pessimism. Plus, all you pre-tribulational rapture folks aren't driven to do cool things, like buy lots of guns and ammo. Worst case scenario is that I'm wrong, but the kind of wrong where you get to spend an odd weekend or two a month shooting at things. I call it awesome wrong.

But what does this have to do with Egypt? I dunno, only everything. As the days go on and this thing drags out I keep getting more pessimistic about both Egypt and the future of Israel vis-a-vis its neighbors. Visions of apocalyptic confrontations dance in my head. I don't think this is going to end well.

The problem with the talking heads on the Egyptian revolution is that they are mostly upper and middle class people. It is liberals in Egypt and those who fled Egypt who keep assuring us that Egypt is a moderate country and that there is no way the Muslim Brotherhood will take over once Mubarak falls. Okay, maybe.

But if Egypt is so full of moderates, then why do 82% of Egyptians believe that those caught in adultery should be stoned to death? Worse, 84% of Egyptians believe that any one leaving Islam should be killed.

Egyptians living in the West are unrepresentative of the vast majority of Egpytians. And the voices we hear out of Egypt are probably also unrepresentative. Young highly educated Egyptians are those we are most likely to hear. The kind of people who are more likely to have views on human rights and democracy more similar to our own. Of course they believe every one in Egypt has the same views as they do. It's just part of the human condition to think every one thinks like us. They don't.

The truth of the matter is, though, that I kind of don't care one way or another. At least, part of me doesn't care. I'm interested, but I don't care which side wins this one. Kind of like I'll be interested in the Superbowl, but not because I care who wins.

And if I'm being honest here then one of the problems I have with post WWII foreign policy is that the international community rarely lets a war finish. That is, we are so interested in peace at all costs that the underlying conflict is never resolved. Which is why another Israel - Egypt war might be kind of nice if it reminds the Muslim world that they are destined to lose another war. Only this time, I'd like to see Israel take not only the Sinai but the Suez as well.

Yeah I know, with Obama in the White House it's wishful thinking. Hell, with Bush in the White House it was wishful thinking. But I can dream can't I?

So, good luck to the protesters. Maybe they'll get what they want and everything will work out just fine. But I kind of have my suspicions that it won't.

Update: I wrote this before I read Barry Rubin's piece today at JPost. Feel the pessimism.

Daily Kos: My CongressWOMAN voted against Nancy Pelosi! And is now DEAD to me!

First off, I would like to extend my sympathies to the families who have lost loved ones. Those effected by this terrible senseless tragedy are in my thoughts and prayers.

Now, I don't like blog propaganda but this is ridiculous and I need to have my say

Daily Kos was busy yesterday deleting anything negative about Congresswoman Giffords. Dirty laundry aired doesn't fit blame the Tuscon shooter on FOX/GlenBeck/RushLimbaugh/Tea Party/Palin/Guns/Right Wing etc. narrative

Read this paragraph and weep Markos![Google cache is a bitch eh Markos?]

[.....]Fast forward to this election season. A weirdo asshole named Jesse Kelly who advocated ELIMINATING Social Security and was a tea bagger favorite got the GOP nom to run against her. I am gay and had been married and my spouse left me January 15, 2010. I shot myself in the mouth in a serious suicide attempt, because of that. Barely surviving, I spent two months in the hospital and still have some paralysis. I did receive a severance from my employer, as i had been laid off in December, 2009. That may have been part of the reason my spouse left me.

Anyway, after months of physical and mental rehab, I got back into the political scene and started working for Gabby once again. I raised over $100,000 for her and maxed her out myself out of my severance, even though i still don't have work and could not qualify for state aid because of my severance.

She wins her re-election and told me she was still a supporter of Speaker Pelosi at her victory party. We talked about how Nancy Pelosi was a successful woman and accomplished oh so much in just four years as Speaker.

Today, just a little while ago, I saw on Andrea Mitchell Reports (out of the one eye in can still see out of) that Giffords voted AGAINST Nancy Pelosi as our Minority Leader. Rhetorical question: I fought back from my condition and jumped in with both feet to help Gabrielle Giffords for THIS shit???

Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is dead to me now. I won't lift a finger, make one phone call, nor will i EVER vote for her in the future. And why did she do this? Giffords never told me she was conservative Democrat. And her voting record is okay. Damn.

Yes, I have screenshots of entire page screw them Markos.

Fast forward "to today".

How Fox News Made Giffords and All Dems Targets
by CatM
Sun Jan 09, 2011 at 09:06:40 AM PST

On CNN yesterday, Wolf Blitzer and his guests repeatedly pointed out that although Palin had made the crosshairs ad that targeted Giffords, there was no evidence that the shooter had seen the ad or even liked Sarah Palin. The unspoken suggestion was that it was therefore unfair to link Sarah Palin to this tragic event--it's just the act of a crazy person, they said.

One could make that argument if one looks at the small picture, but I think we need to look at the larger picture. It is worth noting that no congressperson has been shot in 30 years, yet there have been plenty of crazy people in the past 30 years. So why now?

Fake Tuscon shooter FB page. Today someone changed Palin's image to the shooters image.

Hell, they made the page before the correct spelling of his last name was given. In a hurry to lay blame.

Next, Chuckie:

Someone challenged the mighty lizardo:

Illegal Immigrant Arrested In Phoenix’s First Cartel-Style Beheading

Channeling Obi One & DOJ, WTF do you have to say about this? Oh, that's right, you are too busy with the lawsuit against Arizona, mainly Jan Brewer.

Pffftttttt

Via Pat Dollard

This Phoenix beheading was a violation of the enemy’s ROE, both down there, and up here. You don’t behead for personal beefs. Cartel guy, under cover in some fashion as a day laborer, got drunk and in a beef with another day laborer. Day laborer got beheaded. Dude’s in as much trouble with the cartel as with the law here. He violated the ROE, and brought heat down.

Aid Organizations Ask United States to Remove its Logo From Food Aid

BBC:

A group of 11 prominent charities is preparing a letter calling on the US to remove logos on American-funded assistance in Pakistan.

The letter, signed by charities including Save the Children, Oxfam, and World Vision says that such "branding" of aid jeopardises their neutrality.

They say that this is especially dangerous in a country with numerous anti-American militants.

The letter will be delivered later this week in Washington, officials say.

'Highly sensitive'
It says that there are "strong indicators" that branding will attract violent attacks for both economic and ideologically-motivated reasons".

The letter will be sent to the US government aid agency, USAID, by the InterAction group, a coalition of more than 160 humanitarian organisations working around the world.

International charities have for several years refrained from using their own logos in Pakistan because of the security risk.

However the US government, through USAID, requires non-governmental organisations that receive funding to "brand" aid with the agency's handshake logo and the words "from the American people" in local languages.

Here's an idea. If the f*cking Pakis don't like the f*cking free American food, how about we let the stupid dumbshit God damned m*otherf*ckers f*cking starve to death and see how they like that.

Let em go beg from the godless communists.

Spit!

Hat Tip: Her Oyal.

Update: Fatwa issued against Storm Saxon's Gall Bladder for these ideas.

Storm Saxon's Gall Bladder

We could cover the insensitive labels with bumper stickers of polite lies:

"Aid Package Courtesy of King Charlemange of Gaul"
"Secret Zionist Overlord Foodstuffs with Mind Control Vitamins"
"A gift to the people of Haiti [REJECTED - send to pakistan]"
"Soylent Green"
"Free Crusader Toy in Every Box!"
"Happy Bhudda Rice"
"This box was packed by naked women who could read."

Make The Lie Big, Make It Simple, Keep Saying It And Eventually They Will Believe it ~Adolph Hitler~

Worst Human Rights Offenders Condemn the West

"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." -- Adolf Hitler.

In what can only be described as Orwellian double-speak, the Organization of the Islamic Conference told the United Nations Human Rights Council -- made up of many of the world's worst human rights violators -- that Muslims in western democracies face unbearable racism and discrimination, and demanded that the UN do something about it.

"People of Arab origin face new forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related forms of intolerance and experience discrimination and marginalization," an Egyptian delegate said on Wednesday.

Pakistan, speaking for the 57-nation OIC, tabled a resolution instructing the council's special investigator into religious freedom to look into such racism, "especially in western societies" to "work closely with mass media organizations to ensure that they create and promote an atmosphere of respect and tolerance for religious and cultural diversity."

Mahfooz Kanwar, a professor emeritus at Mount Royal University and author, said these resolutions -- which are expected to pass owing to the over-abundance of "Islamist and other dictatorial states" that sit on the oxymoronically named UN Human Rights Council -- would be funny for their sheer audacity and hypocrisy if they were not so potentially harmful and disturbing.

Promote an atmosphere of respect and tolerance for religious and cultural diversity as long as it is for Islam and only Islam.

Forget about the stonings, they don't matter. Forget the hangings of gays/lesbians & others, they don't matter. Forget about acid thrown in the face of women/girls, they don't matter. Forget about the suicide bombings of innocents, they don't matter. Forget about the beheadings, they don't matter. Forget about child brides, they don't matter. Forget about female genital mutilation, they don't matter. Forget about the killings of fellow Muslims, they don't matter. Forget about flying planes into buildings, they don't matter. Forget about blowing up buses, they don't matter. Forget about blowing up transits, they don't matter. Forget about discrimination of other religions, they don't matter. Forget about raping & torturing maids, they don't matter. Forget about treating women like sh*t, they don't matter. Forget, forget, forget...

I know, I have left a lot of forget about it out, I could go on and on and on...

It is the obligations of Muslims to follow the Qur'an and most of the forget about it, they don't matter are all part of Qur'anic, Hadiths(of the pedophile non-prophet Mohammed) teachings.

United Nations & the Human Rights Council is corrupt and allows sh*t like this to happen. They ignore true human rights abuses and condemn those who are not abusing Muslims. Feck them, feck Islam. You want to be respected? Respect others and do away with the forget about it shit. Drop the kaffir name, learn that all are created equal, besides we don't want your damn Islamic (Sharia) law. Who in hell wants to go back to the dark ages?

A Little Something For Women Thinking About Converting To Islam

I'm looking at you Linda Richard aka Taliba al-Quran.

Sent by my new best friends on Facebook. Like a weekly teaching or something.

Question: Why are there more women in hell than men?

Answer: (mostly below the fold but some of the highlights as follows)

“Because of their ingratitude (kufr).” It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allaah?” He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’”

You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religious commitment than you. ‘Is not the testimony of two women equal to the testimony of one man?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Is it not true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her religious commitment.’”

‘Because you complain too much and are ungrateful to your husbands.’

Well they might have something with that last one. Not hell but maybe the almighty Allah could have whipped up an evolutionary muffler system to minimize the volume and/or frequency.

Question: Why are there more women in hell than men?

Answer: Praise be to Allaah.

It was narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that women will form the majority of the people of Hell. It was narrated from ‘Imraan ibn Husayn that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I looked into Paradise and I saw that the majority of its people were the poor. And I looked into Hell and I saw that the majority of its people are women.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3241; Muslim, 2737)

With regard to the reason for that, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about it and he explained the reason.

It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I was shown Hell and I have never seen anything more terrifying than it. And I saw that the majority of its people are women.” They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said, “Because of their ingratitude (kufr).” It was said, “Are they ungrateful to Allaah?” He said, “They are ungrateful to their companions (husbands) and ungrateful for good treatment. If you are kind to one of them for a lifetime then she sees one (undesirable) thing in you, she will say, ‘I have never had anything good from you.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1052)

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri said:

“The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) went out to the Musalla on the day of Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr. He passed by the women and said, ‘O women! Give charity, for I have seen that you form the majority of the people of Hell.’ They asked, ‘Why is that, O Messenger of Allaah?’ He replied, ‘You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religious commitment than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.’ The women asked, ‘O Messenger of Allaah, what is deficient in our intelligence and religious commitment?’ He said, ‘Is not the testimony of two women equal to the testimony of one man?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Is it not true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?’ The women said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘This is the deficiency in her religious commitment.’”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 304)

It was narrated that Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah said: “I attended Eid prayers with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He started with the prayer before the khutbah, with no adhaan or iqaamah. Then he stood up, leaning on Bilaal, speaking of fear of Allaah (taqwa) and urging us to obey Him. He preached to the people and reminded them. Then he went over to the women and preached to them and reminded them. Then he said, ‘Give in charity, for you are the majority of the fuel of Hell. A woman with dark cheeks stood up in the midst of the women and said, ‘Why is that, O Messenger of Allaah?’ He said, ‘Because you complain too much and are ungrateful to your husbands.’ Then they started to give their jewellery in charity, throwing their earrings and rings into Bilaal’s cloak.”

(Narrated by Muslim, 885)

Our believing sisters who learn of this hadeeth should behave like those Sahaabiyaat who, when they learned of this, did good deeds which would be the means, by Allaah’s leave, of keeping them far away from being included in that majority of the inhabitants of Hell.

So our advice to the sisters is to strive to adhere to the rituals and obligatory duties of Islam, especially prayer, and to keep away from that which Allaah has forbidden, especially shirk in its many forms which are widespread among women, such as seeking one's needs from someone other than Allaah, going to practitioners of witchcraft and fortune-tellers, etc.

We ask Allaah to keep us and all our brothers and sisters far away from the Fire and the words and deeds that bring one close to it.

Well f*ck me a running.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. military said Tuesday it can't find its copy of a video that shows two employees of the Reuters news agency being killed by Army helicopters in 2007, after a leaked version circulated the Internet and renewed questions about the attack.

Capt. Jack Henzlik, a spokesman for U.S. Central Command, said that forces in Iraq have not been able to locate the video within its files.

I'm so glad lent is over.... ofalltheblessedeffinggoddamnedmuthafookin files to lose!!!!!! You lose this one?

And if you had released it the narrative wouldn't be in the hands of a bunch of America hating morons in uber bad ghey cowboy hats.

Geek Shortage?

Or is it really just geek fatigue? I mean eventually coding just gets monotonous.

Some days I think if I see one more "else if" while spending thousands of dollars to find some jerks nickle....

I got your nickle right here buddy.

But the premise is correct. Pre loaded high level language (not C dammit) and documentation is not something you find on most PC.s these days.

My recommendation. Buy your kid a linux machine. Maybe he'll geek out on it.

That is if he doesn't spend the rest of his life playing Maelstrom. Lets see. Learn Pearl? Play Maelstrom? Learn Pearl? Play Maelstrom?

Er uh Maelstrom.

In Support of Obama's TSA Nominee

Daveed Gartenstein-Ross takes Red State's Erik Erickson to task over his opposition of Obama's nominee to head up TSA, Erroll Southers.

As I've reiterated over and over: there is such a creature as a right-wing terrorist. One need look no farther than the KKK to see that. To deny this is to deny reality. An attack on right-wing extremism is not an attack on the Tea Party movement, conservatism, or any other non-violent and mainstream resistance to the centralization of power in the federal government.

Thanks to Steve.

I Think I Have an Idea What May Be Wrong Here (updated and bumped Welcome Media Matters Readers)

After reading this Bloomberg story about Gitmo inmates being released and returning to the battlefield to fight or even blow themselves up on Baby Jesus's birthday, I think I may have have determined that we've overlooked a crucial and economic solution to the problem.

7.92mm.jpg

Most if not all of these men were captured "out of official uniform". Under the Geneva Convention that makes them all spies and they may be be er uh, shot.

The site above prices 7.62 mm rounds at 5.99 per 20 rounds.

All 198 remaining detainees can be effectively dealt with for 59.99 + shipping and handling. (less if you're willing to use a smaller round)

That is all.

Update: Welcome Media Matters readers! Thanks for the traffic, we loves ya!.

But while we're here, apparently the good folks over at Media Matters satire detector is broken. They also failed to notice I filed this under rants.

You know rants? Where like you read a story on the internet and you find it frustrating, so you rant about it a bit? Like ON A BLOG?

Would it be nice if life were that simple? Yeah probably?

Is it? No.

Do I think there was a day in WWII under Dems where a lot of these guys would have been interrogated on the battlefield and shot, Yes.

Do I think any of the above will actually happen? No.

But thanks for all the love and attention.

Don't you have anything better to do, like maybe go bitch about the Taliban actually sawing off the heads of their Muslim bros? Is that acceptable under Geneva? I'm not sure cause I've never heard you folks mention it?

It's Official: Census Worker Supposedly Murdered Due to Right Wing Anti-Government Extremism Really Committed Suicide

Look, I'm one who actually believes there are such things as right wing extremists. That is, I don't imagine the Klan sitting around reading Chomsky or Marx. But extremists, by definition, are on the fringe. And it's a long way from Glenn Beck to The Anarchist Cookbook.

Fatwa Issued Against Yahoo's New Comic Thingy for Exceptional Suckage of Air

Way to go Yahoo. For eons Ziggy, Garfield and the Wizard of Id ruled my Yahoo page. And of course if a module on Yahoo is useful, it will have to be changed.

Now I can't get even Wizard of Id. Garfield and Ziggy are too small to read.

Dammit dammit, son of a bitch.

Module removed.

May Allah's wrath fall upon you ;)

Update: Well it seems I'm not the only one having an issue with Yahoo. There are widespread reported outages on Yahoo mail today.

A History of the Rush Racist Quote Lie

Howie updated with a link earlier, but this deserves its own post. Here is a history of the fake James Earl Ray praise quote being attributed to Rush. This was debunked back in ... 2005!

And the link above? From last June. This has been around for awhile and it shows that people are willing to believe lies when those lies mesh with their worldview.

Like, conservatives are all secret racists.

So, a racist quote attributed to Rush Limbaugh goes unchecked because, hey, we all know Rush is really a racist, right?

Pay close attention to how the date on the quote changes over time to make it seem more legit.

Give it a few more years and we'll find the original. Dating back to the late 60's. Typed on an IBM Selectric II.

Dear Toadboy Part II

Republicans get their health care by working for it.......

Ah yes, the National Public Radio system — a public option to commercial radio that gives us such droll wits as Garrison Keillor, who we mouth-breathers are too pathetically sad to understand.

“Thirty-two percent of the population identifies with the GOP, and if we cut off health care to them, we could probably pay off the deficit in short order,” Keillor wrote.

Can't cut me off the gubbamint dole Toadboy cause I ain't on it.

Come to think of it does Toadboy not work for teh gubbamint. Maybe we should cut funding to Prairie Home Companion and spend that on "health care", say maybe sewing your mouth shut.

We could cut wasteful health care spending by doing it with no Lidocaine.

Sandcrawler PSA: Don't Talk Shit to the Police

After reading this article by Phantom Negro at Salon

It made Gates forget that, no matter what, even when you’re right, you don’t talk shit to the police.
I was thinking what does color have to do with it?

The author frames is as if black people should not talk shit to the popo.

But in my experience, it doesn't matter WTF color you are the rule still stands,

DON'T EVER TALK SHIT TO THE POLICE

That's damn good advice for anyone who is white, black, orange, purple, whatever. If there's shit to be said to an officer, let your lawyer do it.

But go ahead and try if you want to learn who is really in charge of the situation.

The short answer is Skip Gates acted like an asshole. He was uncooperative, he was talking shit. He was wasting the officer's time.

Just a little humility and a few "yes sir"s and it would have been a non issue.

And yes I always call the officer sir and/or ma'am and I'm a redneck. Try it, you might be surprised how much easier that makes the process.

To be fair, I've done it before. With the predicted result. So I learned this the hard way and so did Skip Gates.

Maybe Skip will be a little wiser next time?

Obama sides with Chavez and Castro

chavezObama.jpgObama has condemned the coup in Honduras as illegal, echoing Hugo Chavez and Castro. However, the military in Honduras acted within the law by ousting the socialist president.

The ousted President of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, tried to extend his rule by illegally calling a referendum with ballots shipped from Chavez's Venezuela. Only the Honduras congress may call a referendum and the supreme court of Honduras ordered the military to arrest Zelaya.

Not only did President Obama condemn the action of the Honduras military, who were acting on orders of the supreme court, he tried to meddle in Honduras to try to prevent the arrest of Zelaya. It seems when it comes to meddling in the internal affairs of other countries, Obama is against freedom, liberty and democracy (see Iran).

If you didn't know what kind of a President Obama would be, now it should be crystal clear. Obama will be like the Hugo Chavez's of the world. To see what the USA USSA (Union of Socialists States of America) will look like in 4 to 8 years look no further then Venezuela.

Obi-One Not in Kansas Anymore

via Politico:

Angered by White House decisions on everything from greenhouse gases to car dealerships, congressional Democrats from rural districts are threatening to revolt against parts of President Barack Obama’s ambitious first-year agenda.

“They don’t get rural America,” said Rep. Dennis Cardoza, a Democrat who represents California’s agriculture-rich Central Valley. “They form their views of the world in large cities.”

But what really upset me is this comment by one of the Obamamessiah's er uh whatever you would like call this idiot.
Frank O’Donnell, executive director of the environmental group Clean Air Watch. “The farm states are among those that the Democrats desperately want to keep in the fold at the same time the farm states historically aren’t very good on environmental issues.”
Listen here city slicker, its the effing cities that belch that effing brown haze. That require tons and tons of CO2 each and every effing day.

Rural areas are the environment and we take pretty damn good care of if too while feeding your sorry ass. We don't even need to emit enough gasses overall to make much difference. Because a. there ain't enough of us. b. We're conservative that means we're frugal. While you are idling in traffic, we are actually getting miles and/or work done with our fuel.

Its all our green sucking up your sulpher dioxide and smog. So do us a favor, GTFO of our pocketbook and stop blaming us for the problems your urban environment cause. In fact we should get like a bazillion dollars worth of free carbon credits for doing it.

Jimmah to Obi-One, Please Make Nice With Hamas

Via FOXNEWS:

Former President Jimmy Carter will urge the Obama administration to remove Hamas from the terrorist list, FOX News has learned.

Carter, a chief defender of the U.S.-designated terror group, said he will meet with officials in the Obama administration in two days to discuss his latest trip to the Middle East.

Carter said he feels personally responsible that American weapons were used to fight in Gaza Strip last year, when Israeli Defense Forces entered the strip to stop the launch of rockets from there into Israel.

Carter was visiting with Hamas leaders to try to persuade them to accept the international community's conditions for ending its boycott of the Islamic militant group.

The international community has asked Hamas to recognize Israel, renounce violence and accept previous peace deals as part of ongoing efforts for Palestinians overall to acquire their own country. Hamas has refused

Jimmah? WTF is wrong with you? Remove Hamas from the list of specially designated terrorist entities and you have just justified the murder of of your fellow Americans.

To remove them, prior to gaining any concessions, like say an empty promise not to kill any more Joooos or Americans is certifiably insane.

Go build a f*ucking house, you had your shot at the presidency Mr. Carter and you sucked royally. If Obi-One does this he will at last rival you for that absolute sucking sound that comes when America is on its knees to terrorists demands.

Bejeebus.

Hat Tip: Writermom.

Update: I mean Jimmah didn't even get it when they tried to blow him up.

Sigh....

Human Shields: International Humanitarian Law

I have taken a few paragraphs from this law. MSM and terrorist sympathizers really need to read it all

Article 51 IHL - Protection of the civilian population
The civilian population and individual civilians shall enjoy general protection against dangers arising from military operations. To give effect to this protection, the following rules, which are additional to other applicable rules of international law, shall be observed in all circumstances
[...]
Civilians shall enjoy the protection afforded by this Section, unless and for such time as they take a direct part in hostilities
[...]
Among others, the following types of attacks are to be considered as indiscriminate:

The presence or movements of the civilian population or individual civilians shall not be used to render certain points or areas immune from military operations, in particular in attempts to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield, favour or impede military operations. The Parties to the conflict shall not direct the movement of the civilian population or individual civilians in order to attempt to shield military objectives from attacks or to shield military operations.[Hamas and other terrorists MO..ed]

Any violation of these prohibitions shall not release the Parties to the conflict from their legal obligations with respect to the civilian population and civilians, including the obligation to take the precautionary measures provided for in Article 57

The UN sucks on calling out Hamas using Gazans as human shields. What is it so damn hard recognizing Hamas as a terrorist organization hell bent on destroying Israel? Why in the hell don't we see the outrage of Hamas putting the citizens of Gaza in harms way? We have protests condoning the acts of Hamas and yet screaming for Israel to stop. Where are the so called "moderate muslims" condemning Hamas's action? Link anyone?

I will now return you to your regular scheduled program...

Update: As n.a.palm in comments so eloquently said:

"Those laws you quoted aren't worth the paper they're written on. They don't give a rats ass for innocents caught up in war".
Amen to that. Israel be damned for protecting her people.

Unnamed US & NATO Officials Preparing For Obama's Presidency

Headline at Columbia Tribune - "Officials Blame US for Taliban Renewal"

WASHINGTON - For seven years, the Bush administration has pursued al-Qaida but done almost nothing to hunt down the Afghan Taliban leadership in its sanctuaries in Pakistan, and that has left Mullah Mohammad Omar and his deputies free to direct an escalating war against the U.S.-backed Afghan government.

The administration’s decision, U.S. and NATO officials said, has allowed the Taliban to regroup, re-arm and recruit at bases in southwestern Pakistan. Since the puritanical Islamic movement’s resurgence began in early 2005, it has killed at least 626 U.S.-led NATO troops, 301 of them Americans, along with thousands of Afghans, and handed President-elect Barack Obama a growing guerrilla war with no end in sight.[emphasis mine]

A senior NATO official quoted at end of article states "All they’ve (US) done in the last two years is arrest one Taliban leader". WTF has this official been doing the "last two years"?

Looking forward to Pres-elect Obama to be sworn in.

F*ck Firefox!

OK so the hanging flash video freeze bug has worn out my patience. I've turned off java and tried several other "solutions" from forums.

It will help for a while but it always comes back. After one or two youtubes or other flash vidoes I'm done. Then restart firefox, restart computer, break things. I really like the browser but they still have not fixed it and I can't take it any effing more. I'll have to suffer through with IE I guess.

I've had it up to here with waiting for Mozilla to fix it. F*ck Firefox!

Ignorant Race-Baiting From the Guardian Spike Lee

This post originally ran at The Dread Pundit Bluto on October 22, 2006. It serves again, now that race-baiting director Spike Lee has launched a fresh assault on Clint Eastwood's Iwo Jima movies.

The Drudge Report, which should know better, links to this pathetically uninformed Guardian story [in] which [Spike Lee, linked above at the Timesonline] tries to foment racial resentment, and, incidentally, attack a rarity in Hollywood these days - an unabashedly patriotic movie.

Flags of Our Fathers opened yesterday [October 21, 2006], and the Guardian immediately launched their assault[emphasis added]:

in Flags of Our Fathers, Clint Eastwood's big-budget, Oscar-tipped film of the battle for the Japanese island that opened on Friday in the US. While the film's battle scenes show scores of young soldiers in combat, none of them are African-American. Yet almost 900 African-American troops took part in the battle of Iwo Jima, including Sgt McPhatter.
[Lee has pretty much repeated the Guardian's charges] The Guardian is not a newspaper [and Spike Lee is not a director] that likes to let a little fact-checking get in the way of a good rant. If they were, they might have found out that the United States sent 110,000 Marines to invade Iwo Jima. That means that the 900 African Americans who participated represented eight tenths of one percent of the invasion force.

So, if the movie, as the Guardian says, portrayed "scores of young soldiers" (and by the way, they weren't "soldiers", they were Marines, you insipid socialist limey jackasses), and we generously allow "scores" to mean "100," that means that a proportional representation of African Americans would require that eight tenths of a Marine be portrayed as black. Given the ferocity of the battle for Iwo Jima, perhaps that would be appropriate.

What's not appropriate is for a foreign leftist scandal rag [or a director who makes money by provoking racial tensions], whose editors are so blindingly stupid [the Timesonline has repeated this stupid part in their Lee story] that they don't even know the difference between a soldier and a Marine, to seek to foment racial tension.

AP's "Photographic Icons of the Iraq War"

An AP article appeared today on Syracuse.com titled "Photographic Icons of the Iraq War". Needless to say it made me irate and that is putting it mildly. No where was there mention of people like Michael Yon, Bill Roggio, who by the way will be on Jawa BTR this coming Tuesday, or Michael J Totten and others like them that show the real images of the war. Not the images or commentary the MSM shove in our faces everyday.

What is AP's idea of "Iconic Images" of the Iraq War?

So what will be the icons of Iraq?

Perhaps the tight portrait of a helmeted Marine, his face coated with grime and creased with fatigue, a cigarette dangling from his lips. James Blake Miller came to be known as the "Marlboro Man"; the public followed his story home, to hard times and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Perhaps the Abu Ghraib pictures — snapshots with a chilling immediacy. Or President Bush speaking on an aircraft carrier, a banner with the premature boast "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" stretched behind him. Or Saddam Hussein, bleary and bearded after his stay in a spider hole.

Or any of a number of visions of death or battle or grief.

And then there are the coffins. In the early days of the war, authorities forbade photographs of transports loaded with flag-draped coffins; a contractor was even fired for leaking one such picture.

But the conflict continued and photos of caskets have become commonplace, as the funerals go on and on.

Post-traumatic stress disorder.
Abu Ghraib - chilling immediacy.
Premature boast - "Mission Accomplished".
Saddam Hussein - bleary and bearded.
Visions of death or battle grief.
Pictures of coffins.
Photos of caskets become commonplace.
Funerals go on and on.

The AP can take these images and put them where the sun doesn't shine.

Radical Sheikh Yousuf al-Qaradawi At It Again. Danish Cartoons

islm_cartoon_10.jpg

Gulf Times

Earlier Egyptian Muslim scholar Sheikh Yousuf al-Qaradawi cried foul [see video below]when he was denied a visa from Great Britain. The reason for the denial is his justification of terrorist acts such as suicide bombings. He has said "it is ok to blow oneself up if you kill a Jew". See: "When radical Muslims get their own youtube."

He is best known for his al Jazeera program "Shariah and Life". He is a nasty fellow and also has been banned from entering the US since 1999.

Now al-Qaradawi is calling on all Muslim countries to "openly express" their protest at the "offending" cartoons. He stated:

We cannot accept any kind of apology from the Danish government about the cartoons lampooning our Prophet. [national lampoon..teh] We do not even have the right to do that because insulting the Prophet is an unforgivable act[Danes beware-- remember homeless cartoonist?]. There should be a political protest from our politicians and leaders. They should defend their Prophet he said.
He is also calling for boycotts of Danish products and "peaceful" demonstrations. I don't believe al-Qaradawi knows the meaning of the word "peaceful".

Caution, PC in video. Evil Zionist Neocon plot undertones. Oh, and the evil joooos.

Muslim Outrage in UK

Times UK

"Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a controversial Muslim cleric who defends suicide attacks, has been refused a visa to enter to the UK after a campaign by David Cameron."

Qaradawi has been banned from entering the US since 1999 and now the UK apparently. Wonder if the Muslims are going to try Cameron in their "courts"?

"Raging"sources close to Dr al-Qaradawi said that his visa application had had support within the Home and Foreign Offices. "But the Zionist lobby placed huge pressures to block the visa application and Prime Minister Gordon Brown eventually backed that position," they added."

Ah, those darn "Zionists" again. They have their noses everywhere and just won't let up on known radicals. Ones that promote "suicide bombers" on Al Jazeera are not even safe from the Zionist conspiracy.

Maybe there is some hope, be it small, that UK is trying to fight Sharia. Rid the Islamic Sharia courts of Britain would be a good step in the right direction. Too bad all don't feel the way "Tory" leader David Cameron does.
