What Obama Really Thinks of You

Fire Andrea Mitchell

Megyn Kelly on the Kelly File revealed a second video of ObamaCARE architect Jonathan Gruber calling the American voters stupid. This video is from October of last year and could have also been used in the mid-term elections this, but for whatever reason wasn’t. Here is the second video of Jonathan Gruber calling the American voter stupid. If you want to skip ahead in this video of Megyn Kelly’s earlier discussion, right the Gruber’s remarks, go to 2 minutes and 22 seconds.

I saw Mr. Gruber's MSNBC interview and all I can say is, Filed under Assmaggots.

Update: Johnathan Gruber thinks that "exploiting the lack of economic understanding of the American voter" is very clever politics.

At least this time we aren't stupid American voters. After a first video of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, talking about the bill being vague to fool stupid American Voters. And a second video outed last night by Megyn Kelly, below is video #3. This one from a speech at the University of Rhode Island in November 2012. This time he talks about then Senator, now Secretary of State John Kerry helping him take advantage of the economically unsophisticated American voter.

Which is why a Jury of American voters would probably send him to the gallows if they ever knew the truth. That the SUPPORTERS of Obamacare were intentionally misled, sold a bill of goods. That would neither help them nor anyone else.

Because the truth is that even though Mr. Gruber claims that if you get hit by a car you can go bankrupt, well no you can sue the driver. But even after Obamacare, even after you pay more, even after your subsidy, even after yout Obamacare plan pays you can still be bankrupt.

And the "evil insurance companies" still get theirs while you get the shaft.

So very clever.

As if filing bankruptcy and letting the provider claim the loss was a "worse" system.

Yes it was worse, because the healthcare system that sucked uop 18 percent of the economy will get just what they demanded from Obama to drop their opposition to Obamacare. Now they will get even more than 18% of the GDP and will get to keep more of that 18%. Obama sold you out to the healthcare industry and lied to YOU, telling you you would benefit when the only benefit was to the industry his wife Michelle worked in.

I Felt A Great Disturbance In The Force

As if millions of Liberals cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced...

D.C. Circuit guts ObamaCare: Consumers in federal exchange are ineligible for subsidies

You already know the background here, I hope. If not, read this post and/or this post to catch up. The ObamaCare statute says that federal subsidies to help people pay for their new O-Care health insurance are available to anyone who buys their plan from “an Exchange established by the State.” Thirty-four states declined to build their own exchanges, though, so the White House built a big federal exchange for them instead. That’s Healthcare.gov. Question: If you buy a plan from Healthcare.gov, does that qualify as buying from “an Exchange established by the State”? Or are subsidies reserved exclusively for exchanges built by the individual states, not the feds?

The financial impact of ObamaCare for five million people hangs on six words. Held by the D.C. Circuit: Subsidies apply only to true state exchanges, not Healthcare.gov.

Hey, look on the bright side, Jar Jar Binks is dead!

Veteran Dies In Hospital Cafeteria Waiting For Ambulance To Take Him To ER

Apparently, hospital policy prevented anyone from sending a gurney so he could be wheeled to the next building.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A veteran who collapsed in an Albuquerque Veteran Affairs hospital cafeteria, 500 yards from the emergency room, died after waiting 30 minutes for an ambulance, officials confirmed Thursday.

Officials at the hospital said took a half an hour for the ambulance to be dispatched and take the man from one building to the other, which is about a five minute walk.

VA spokeswoman Sonja Brown said Kirtland Air Force Medical Group personnel performed CPR until the ambulance arrived.

She says staff followed policy in calling 911 when the man collapsed on Monday. "Our policy is under expedited review," Brown said.

The distance is being reported as 500 yards. But the scale on Google Maps is showing it closer to 600 feet. (Scale is in lower left corner.)

Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Hobby Lobby vs ObamaCare

President Obama is not having much luck in court. Nope, not much at all. Ironic considering he claims to be a Constitutional Lawyer.

The Supreme Court ruled Monday that closely held companies cannot be required to pay to cover some types of contraceptives for their employees, ending its term with a narrow legal and political setback for a controversial part of President Barack Obama's healthcare reform law.

The owners of Hobby Lobby, furniture maker Conestoga Wood Specialties and Christian bookseller Mardel argued that the Affordable Care Act violates the First Amendment and other federal laws protecting religious freedom because it requires them to provide coverage for contraceptives like the "morning-after pill," which the companies consider tantamount to abortion.

The decision, which comes two years after the justices narrowly preserved the Affordable Care Act and its key funding provision, could serve as a primer for other pending challenges to the health law.

I bet Oliver Willis is literally drowning in donut glaze today.

Anyway maybe Obi-One spent too much time studying the wrong constitution?

HHS Pads Obamacare Numbers By Starting Applications

Wonder how Obamacare managed to sign up over two million new applicants in the final days before the deadline when it took months to get to 5 million?

Simple. They just started your Obamacare applications themselves.

From The Shark Tank via Gateway Pundit:

In the closing days of the open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) , the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) was mailing out letters notifying certain Americans that they had already started a healthcare coverage application on their behalf.

The HHS letter stated that the information they used to begin the application for individual Healthcare was obtain by the state agency in charge of implementing Obamacare.

The Administration is claiming, so far, 7.1 million have signed up for Obamacare. They cannot (or will not) specify how many are illegals, how many signed up to replace lost policies, how many have actually paid any premiums, or even how many have completed the application process.

What we do know is that 4 out of every 5 people who signed up for Obamacare qualify for subsidies.

UPDATE: Insurance Companies may refuse to sell health coverage beyond government mandated enrollment periods.

UPDATE II: Some new enrollees are prison inmates. States are signing them up so costs can be pass to federal government (i.e. the US tax payers).

Healthcare.gov Shuts Down For "Maintenance"

obamacare_maintenance.jpg

Coincidentally, if you don't get through today, your deadline for signing up is extended until April 15th:

The Obama administration's health care website stumbled on deadline day for new sign-ups. Visitors to HealthCare.gov on Monday morning saw messages that the site was down for maintenance. [...]

Administration spokesman Aaron Albright said the website undergoes "regular nightly maintenance" during off-peak hours and that period was extended because of a "technical problem." He did not say what the problem was, but a statement from the Department of Health and Human Services called it "a software bug" unrelated to application volume. (Source)

I May Be Getting Covered

President Obama laid out a new budget for people like me who can't afford health insurance. All I have to do is cut out my cable bill. And my phone bill. And my cell phone bill. And my car payments. And my electricity bill. And my water bill. And my gas bill. My car insurance, my home insurance, my mortgage payments, and cut out that luxurious grocery bill.

Then I will be able to afford healthcare under Obamacare!

(Washington, D.C.) - The President recently participated in a health care town hall with Spanish-language media. He responded to a question received via email, from a consumer who makes $36,000 per year and cannot find insurance for a family of three for less than $315 per month. The President responded that "if you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill... it may turn out that, it's just they haven't prioritized health care." He added that if a family member gets sick, the father "will wish he had paid that $300 a month."

Yeah! Healthcare here I come!

Baltimoreans Enjoying Free Time To Pursue Happiness

The American Dream:

_00_homeless_baltimore.jpg

Nancy Pelosi praised the loss of full time jobs due to Obamacare because the extra time off would allow citizens "the freedom to pursue happiness."

How wonderful it is that Baltimore now has camps dedicated to that pursuit of happiness!

From the DailyMail via Gateway Pundit:

A sheet of plastic laid over a clothesline. A mini-fortress of milk crates stacked under a tree. A thin mattress on a flimsy crate lying in a dark tunnel.

On the edge of Baltimore's woodlands, dozens of the city's transients live in makeshift homes which they consider safer than homeless shelters.

Photographer Ben Marcin has captured some of the shanties in his thought-provoking photo essay, 'The Camps', documenting the struggle, loneliness and ingenuity of Maryland's people of the woods.

Many in New York’s professional and cultural elite have long supported President Obama’s health care plan. But now, to their surprise, thousands of writers, opera singers, music teachers, photographers, doctors, lawyers and others are learning that their health insurance plans are being canceled and they may have to pay more to get comparable coverage, if they can find it.

Another Way Obamacare Will Cost You

Aside from the obvious premium increases and lost hours, you'll be spending more in property taxes to pay for Obamacare:

A Missouri school district faces a $150,000 bill for Obamacare, according to a report on KMIZ-MO:

"The Affordable Care Act could cost the Jefferson City public schools more than a $150,000," said the news anchor.

"This came to light at last night's board meeting when district officials told board members they would have to pay health insurance for substitute teachers," says the other anchor.

Obamacare Bureaucracy Cancels Little Boy's Life Saving Treatments

His family must be in the 5% who had crappy plans they didn't need anyway.

boy_with_cancer_obamacare.jpg

Cancer ridden boy loses coverage:

WASHINGTON — Hunter Alford is the happy kid next door with a big grin who idolizes country music star Blake Shelton.

His parents call him a "wild, fun loving, zombie-killing boy who loves the military and police."

He is normal in every way, except this 7-year-old already plays guitar and keyboards and has his heart set on learning to fiddle.

Something else sets Hunter apart.

He was born with a rare form of cancer and lost his health insurance just after Obamacare went into effect.

Americans were told the health-care law was designed to help children just like Hunter, born with a deadly pre-existing condition and little means to pay for expensive treatments.

The Affordable Care Act was not supposed to take away the insurance these most-vulnerable children already had and leave them utterly defenseless against a life-threatening disease.

Answers are hard to come by, but it looks like that’s what the president's signature achievement has done in the small town of Gainesville, Texas.

If you wish to help with Hunter's treatment, you can do so HERE.

Why Bill Clinton's Comments on Healthcare Are BS

Yesterday Bill Clinton said something about, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to these people...." when talking about the number of people who's plans have been cancelled under Obamacare when they were told, "If you like your plan you can keep your plan."

Um yeah, about that. Now Bill may just be helping Hillary our for 2016 and that's about all it means because it comes too late. These canceled plans are over, kaput. Its what "canceled means".

The same with the government shutdown a while back, why was it a tactical mistake? Because it was too late. It was a done deal, it was inevitable. If there was to be any real change it would have had to been just after the 2012 election through say June of 2013.

So the buzz about Clinton now is just more political theater, there is no real split between Obama and Clinton because they know, well its over. You can say anything you like.

So looking ahead, the ObamaCare roll out plans will not achieve financial sustainability, these plans will be shelled into companies that can and will die on the vine.

But like Bill says, if you can't keep the promise to keep your plan, you can tweak it a bit. But when these plans fail the importance of having any plan at all will outweigh any discussion of "your old plan".

There will have to be change.

What I found in the bronze level, not the platinum level, in the bronze level, there's a PPO HSA policy that, between the higher premiums and the much higher maximum out-of-pocket costs, will cost me probably more than $5,000 a year more than what I'm already paying for health insurance.

It's been a total sticker shock. I have had some health issues this year, and I have had to reduce some of my workload. It's a real hardship right now. My husband is 67 years old. I'm 58. We are desperately trying to save for retirement.

BY9rhw7CcAArcm6.jpg

...I voted for President Obama twice. And I was totally supportive of the idea that every person should have access to affordable health care.

Um, uh I'm like totally refraining from stupid bitch comments today, but this would be a good place for one.

Anyway, they'll toss in a few sweeteners like say letting this lady buy a plan with no maternity care. They'll soften her five thousand dollar hit to say only 4200 and call it a "break for working families" or some sh*t like that.

The number of people paying the fine and not buying in will insure that these plans will have to be rescued from financial collapse, Like Bill says, "We should honor the commitment the federal government made to these people." There will be no choice.

That commitment being that Obamacare will work and lead to more people being insured. And if it can't be done at a profit, no one is going to buy out a money losing plan so they can lose more money are they?

I think we can all see where this is leading.

Update: Drew is correct, even if Upton's niece is like super hot, the bill is too little too late.

On Friday the House will take up a bill sponsored by Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Fred Upton (yes, he's Kate's uncle) that purports to let people who have health insurance polices keep them regardless of the ACA and HHS regulations. I say "purports" because it's unclear that the damage done by ObmaCare can be undone in time to prevent people from losing coverage on January 1st.
But I do have a problem with Drew's post. If you mention Kate Upton you have to upload Kate Upton. Its a rule.

ACA Kills!

But! But! But! The death panel promised you would be dead already.

Everyone now is clamoring about Affordable Care Act winners and losers. I am one of the losers.

My grievance is not political; all my energies are directed to enjoying life and staying alive, and I have no time for politics. For almost seven years I have fought and survived stage-4 gallbladder cancer, with a five-year survival rate of less than 2% after diagnosis. I am a determined fighter and extremely lucky. But this luck may have just run out: My affordable, lifesaving medical insurance policy has been canceled effective Dec. 31.

My choice is to get coverage through the government health exchange and lose access to my cancer doctors, or pay much more for insurance outside the exchange (the quotes average 40% to 50% more) for the privilege of starting over with an unfamiliar insurance company and impaired benefits.

According to Think Progress, Whiner! Capitalism! Eleventy!

But in Think Progress' thrashing they inadvertently admit that without the change in the law, the evil capitalist system that kept this person alive much longer than expected would have continued to do so.

It was the ObamaCare straw that broke the camel's back.

Twitter Runs Interferance for For ObamaCare

The President's fascist minions are busy false flagging narratives they don't like.

Twitter has repeatedly suspended an account critical of the Affordable Care Act.

The account, @mycancellation, was just getting started when Twitter suspended it—twice—before reinstating the account late Saturday night.

The purpose of @mycancellation or mycancellation.com was to allow some of the millions of Americans who are losing their health insurance to post pictures of themselves with their cancellation letters. “Help us show Washington the faces who lost what they liked,” the account asked. “ObamaCare canceled your health insurance. Now, send us your letter,” the tagline for the website advertised.

Twitter, where you're free to share anything except when, you know, it causes butthurt to the President.

Obama's Filibuster Proof Democrat Majority Served America a Sh*t Sandwich

Now they ask, "Would you like some mustard on that?".

Obamacare is the product of a brief moment of total Democratic dominance in Washington. Key to that dominance was a 60-seat, filibuster-proof Senate majority. It wasn't a sure bet for Democrats; despite victories in 2008, the party's hopes for that majority depended on the defection of formerly Republican Sen. Arlen Specter and the outcome of a contested race in Minnesota. After a controversial recount, Al Franken became the 60th Democratic senator on July 7, 2009, giving Democrats an unassailable edge.

...But that was long enough to pass Obamacare. Now, Obama is suffering the consequences of relying on just one party. When problems arose with his signature legislative achievement, he had no Republican support to help him out. None.

Yes mustard! We'd like lots and lots of mustard, thank you very much.

Got enough for all 93 million of us?

Shocking News! Obama Administration Nixed Exemption in Affordable Care Act That Allowed You to Keep Your Plan

Obama lied your policy died:

The law states that policies in effect as of March 23, 2010 will be “grandfathered,” meaning consumers can keep those policies even though they don’t meet requirements of the new health care law. But the Department of Health and Human Services then wrote regulations that narrowed that provision, by saying that if any part of a policy was significantly changed since that date -- the deductible, co-pay, or benefits, for example -- the policy would not be grandfathered.

aliacat.jpg

Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.”

That means the administration knew that more than 40 to 67 percent of those in the individual market would not be able to keep their plans, even if they liked them.

And who was in charge making sure Obama's promise was an empty one? Obama's hand picked Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.“This says that when they made the promise, they knew half the people in this market outright couldn’t keep what they had and then they wrote the rules so that others couldn’t make it either,” said Robert Laszewski, of Health Policy and Strategy Associates, a consultant who works for health industry firms. So even if we pass the law, we still don't know what's in it, do we? Because Obama randomly makes changes to the, either by Presidential Whim or by making sure his hand picked cabinet issues regulations that effectively rewrite the law that Congress passed.

Knock Knock! Its Obamacare's Ministry of Love

Ben Swann:

According to an Obamacare provision millions of Americans will be targeted.

The Health and Human Services’ website states that your family will be targeted if you fall under the “high-risk” categories below:

Families where mom is not yet 21.
Families where someone is a tobacco user.
Families where children have low student achievement, developmental delays, or disabilities.
Families with individuals who are serving or formerly served in the armed forces, including such families that have members of the armed forces who have had multiple deployments outside the United States.
There is no reference to Medicaid being the determinant for a family to be “eligible.”

In 2011, the HHS announced $224 million will be given to support evidence-based home visiting programs to “help parents and children.” Individuals from the state will implement these leveraging strategies to “enhance program sustainability.”

You know what they say, FREEDOM IS SLAVERY!

Official Who Ran IRS During Scandal Received Bonuses Now In Charge of ObamaCare

I'm like totally shocked.

he Internal Revenue Service official in charge of the tax-exempt organizations at the time when the unit targeted tea party groups now runs the IRS office responsible for the health care legislation.

r620-8770a30d62066720ad67107c45196eea.jpg
IRS lawyer Sarah Hall Ingram received four bonuses totaling $103,390 between 2009 and 2012 while managing the tax agency's division that harassed conservative Tea Party groups seeking tax exempt non-profit status. She was then promoted to manage the IRS role in implementing Obamacare. Big bonuses like those awarded Ingram typically require presidential approval.

Sarah Hall Ingram served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012. But Ingram has since left that part of the IRS and is now the director of the IRS’ Affordable Care Act office, the IRS confirmed to ABC News today.

Her successor, Joseph Grant, is taking the fall for misdeeds at the scandal-plagued unit between 2010 and 2012. During at least part of that time, Grant served as deputy commissioner of the tax-exempt unit.

So I guess the President must have approved?
There is a multitude of articles from a variety of sources suggesting that due to Ms. Hall Ingram’s tenure at the IRS, and the implications that she was involved in harassing citizens for their political and religious beliefs’, one might take pause that she is slated to be in control of one’s health care. The questions that remain are myriad – as to her role in the scandal, and how that role would translate to her new position. If in fact, she is ideologically driven, be it a Church group’s healthcare, or an individual who has political or religious inclinations that are not in simpatico with the current administration, then those individuals might finds themselves denied health care, or be subject to fines, and or increased premiums (above the anticipated increases that will most likely force millions into the government run programs.) In that scenario, reappointment to a less volatile position would be in the best interest of the Administration.

New ObamaCare Blindside Requirement
Prove Those Little Snot Nosed Dependents on Your Employer Plan Are Really Your Little Snot Nosed Dependents

Um yeah, I'm not making this shit up.

Why is a Dependent Eligibility Verification being conducted?

The plan has a fiduciary obligation under federal law to ensure that plan assets are used exclusively for the benefit of eligible individuals. It is each employee‟s responsibility to ensure covered dependents continually meet the plan‟s eligibility requirements and to provide supporting documentation upon request.

That's right the burden of proof is on you even if say your natural born child has been on the same plan since, oh say they were born.

And if you don't send the auditor, yes a whole new boom of expensive auditors will be profiting from this but I digress, if you don't send the auditor the required proofs for the Dependent Eligibility Verification process then your child will be unceremoniously dropped from coverage.

Submit a copy of one document from PROOF C:
PROOF C:
Legal documents issued by the courts must name you or your spouse as the child’s parent; must include names of the child and the parent; and must include an official signature and/or court seal/stamp.

 Your 2011 or 2012 Federal income tax return (1040, 1040A or 1040X)
showing the child listed as your dependent with the relationship as daughter, son or child. The entire tax return is not required, only the page that lists filing status and exemptions. Mark out personal financial data and social security numbers prior to submission.

Child‟s legal or hospital birth certificate.

Final court order (divorce decree/custody agreement).

Legal adoption papers issued by the courts.

Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO) showing you are required to provide medical coverage for the child. Documentation must state your current employer‟s name and include the names of the child and parent.

If the required documentation is not received for your dependents, they will be removed from coverage effective [redacted]

I mean you can understand auditors looking for ineligible folks, But putting the burden of proof on all the legitimate parents and dependents just stinks of the sweetheart deal that Michelle''s fave Healthcare industry was able to extract from the President in those cozy sit down meetings at the White House.

Anyone can make a mistake but to really f*ck things up requires government.

the law doesn’t specifically mandate family coverage — and now the administration says that won’t be required.

You can see why: If the lowest-cost family plan (again, two adults and three kids) is to run a whopping $20,000, and if the employee’s contribution is limited to $3,800, the employer’s tab would be $16,200 — adding about $7.40 an hour to the cost of that employee. Wisely, the IRS announced on Jan. 30 that employers won’t have to pay for dependents.

So how will the kids be covered? They won’t. The IRS shocked the law’s advocates by announcing that the insurance exchanges won’t provide subsidies for a child whose parent is covered at work.

OBAMACARE FUNDING UP FOR VOTE TODAY

According to Breitbart.com, the vote on 2013 funding for Obamacare is being rushed to the House floor TODAY:

House Speaker John Boehner and House GOP leadership rapidly scheduled a Wednesday morning floor vote on legislation that will fund the government—including the controversial Affordable Care Act—for the rest of the year, Breitbart News has learned.

As Breitbart News reported late Tuesday, 30 House Republicans have signed a letter demanding Boehner and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor not pass a Continuing Resolution that funds Obamacare at all. Jim Bridenstine of Oklahoma and Tim Huelskamp of Kansas to get other members to support the effort.

When Boehner and Cantor received the letter, a senior GOP source told Breitbart News that both were shocked by the large response and frantically scheduled the CR vote for Wednesday morning.

“Leadership scheduled the vote for Wednesday morning after seeing the Obamacare letter, believing it’s better to go now than wait,” the senior GOP adviser on Capitol Hill said.

Boehner and Cantor attributed their decision to forecasted inclement weather. A major snowstorm is expected to hit Washington, D.C. in the next couple days.

If you have an opinion on Obamacare, this would be a good time to make some noise.

Peace, turkey pardoned by President Obama last Thanksgiving, euthanized

Death panel or did we just have a WKRP moment.

As god is my witness..

Washington -- Peace, one of two turkeys pardoned by President Obama last year, was euthanized Monday, according to an official who insisted the timing of the death - days before the Thanksgiving holiday - was not suspicious.

Rebecca Aloisi, vice president for marketing at the Mount Vernon Estate, confirmed that Peace had been dead after a weekend "illness." But Aloise knew neither the nature of the illness, the manner of death, nor what had been done with the remains of the large, edible bird.

"I appreciate where you're going with this," Aloisi told CNN. "But I assure you that these birds are extremely well cared for." The decision to euthanize the bird was made by a veterinarian in consultation with Mount Vernon's livestock department, she said.

Peace had served as the understudy for Liberty, another turkey, at the 2011 pardoning ceremony by President Obama. Obama chose to pardon both birds to spare them from the fate of the plate.

I question the timing.

Muslim Hospital Tech Hates Jews Loves Porn

If they wheel you into the operating room and you see this dude there, he'll be ignoring your heart lung machine, fapping and praising Allah during the procedure. Now just relax.

14.1n011.mtsinai2.c--300x300.jpg

NY Post:

A Mount Sinai Hospital technician — responsible for running complicated equipment during open-heart surgeries — watched porn on his smartphone as patients lay with their lives in the balance just inches away, according to a bombshell lawsuit by former cardiovascular tech Sandra Morris.

She said Cercioglu’s porn habit was so “commonplace [in the operating room] that other perfusionists routinely joked about his behavior,” according to the lawsuit she filed last week.

In her suit, filed July 31, Morris also alleged that Cercioglu, a Muslim, regularly degraded her for being female and an observant Jew. He went so far as to blast her publicly as a “dumb Jew bitch” in front of co-workers, the lawsuit claims.

“Ms. Morris was told several times [by Cercioglu and Lazala] . . . that she cannot work on [those] cases because she doesn’t have a ‘d--k,’ ” her suit claims.

Obama V. Clinton On Taxes

Thanks to Dick Morris for putting this up. I think it makes a strong argument that President Obama is being deceptive when he talks about Clinton tax rates.

Dick Morris:
President Obama is trying to re-write history when he says that his tax program is the same as Bill Clinton supported “when 23 million jobs were created.”

It’s not that way at all. Clinton’s 1993 increase of personal income taxes on the top bracket to 39.6% had a very negative effect on the economy. It was only after Clinton’s 1997 cut the capital gains tax – the opposite of what Obama proposes – that job growth really piled up.

...Clinton suddenly saw the error of his ways and began to hold down spending and push for a tax cut. In 1997, he and the Republican Congress combined to cut capital gains taxes from 28% (the rate to which Bush had increased it) to 20%. The result was electrifying! Real wage growth was 6.5% in the four years after the tax cut compared to minuscule wage growth of 0.8% over the four years after Clinton’s tax increase!

Another difference, Bill Clinton was at least capable of adjustment when needed, but Obama's Neo-Communist ideology prevents him from accepting similar adjustments.

Want to Repeal Obamacare? Here's Something You Can Do RIGHT NOW.

Do you really want to see Obamacare REPEALED?

Do you think Mitch McConnell and his type are raring to get that done?

While Jim DeMint and his band of rebels can be counted on to fight hard for repeal, the Senate's establishment moderates are looking to "replace" it with something different. If you've been around for the earlier episodes of this series, you know that's code for "doing jack squat."

As usual, the Senate Republicans need some 'spine-stiffening.'

If you want to hold the Senate Republicans' feet to the fire on Obamacare, there's one thing you can do RIGHT NOW: help elect TED CRUZ to the U.S. Senate. If you're outside of Texas, you can sign up to make phone calls:

callforted.png

If you're in Texas, you can go to TedCruz.org and sign up to volunteer locally. Either way, this Texas Senate race is CRITICAL, and your help is needed.

Romney Obamacare Solution: Replace Obama
UPDATE: Romney Full Response Video

This isn't rocket science. It's really that simple. Mitt Romney:

if we want to get rid of Obamacare, we're going to have to replace President Obama....

You can choose whether you want to have a larger and larger government, more and more intrusive in your life, separating you and your doctor, whether you're comfortable with more deficits, higher debt that we will pass onto the coming generations. [Or] whether you're willing to have the government put in place a plan that potentially causes you to lose the insurance that you like or whether instead you want to return to a time when the American people will have their own choice in health care, where consumers will be able to make share choices as to what kind of health insurance they want.

UPDATE: Here's Romney's full response.

Thanks to Erika Johnson.

UPDATE: And what will Mitt do day one in office? Day one, job one: repeal Obamacare.

Update VI: The National Retail Federation issued a statement

Retailers Dismayed by Supreme Court Decision

WASHINGTON, June 28, 2012 – The National Retail Federation released the following statement from NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay on the Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act:

“As the voice of retailers of all types and sizes, we’re disappointed by today’s ruling. The Court missed an opportunity to redress the many shortcomings of the law.

“As it stands, the law wrongly focuses more on penalizing employers and the private sector than reducing health costs. For these reasons, NRF has been a consistent skeptic of the Affordable Care Act.[More...]

Pelosi also doesn't like the tax word: "Tax is Washington talk"[video]
Responding to a question from The Daily Caller, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi shied away from siding with Chief Justice John Roberts in labeling the healthcare law’s individual mandate constitutional as a tax, telling TheDC that “what you’re talking about here is Washington talk.”
I take that as a yes in Pelosi speak.

Hello ObamaCare Goodbye Tax Refund

Just listening to NPR this morning I'm struck by what is missing from all the, "ObamaCare's penalties are toothless.", chit chat.

One point made was, "You can't get blood from a turnip"., "You can't go to jail." and "No one can repo your car or anything like that." In other words they can't make you pay.

What they are trying to distract from is the fact that the program is administered by the IRS. So its pretty easy to see how the fines, and yes its a fine in my book, will be collected. They will simply deduct the fine from any tax return.

So this will affect millions of low income wage earners taking standard deductions. Those returns average around a thousand or two. Possibly a bit more with an earned income credit.

Those are the voters Obama claims to want to help. I doubt very much that taking the one check per year that they very much depend on will go over very well. And so do they, that's why they never mention that shrunken tax check part.
