Bibi Goes There: Compares Militant Islam With Nazis

From Breitbart:

Monday during his United Nations address, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu compared the "militant Islam" ideology of terrorist groups like ISIS and Hamas killing for a "master faith" to the Nazis goal of a "master race."

Netanyahu said, "Militant Islam's mission to dominate the world seems mad. But so too did the global ambitions of another fanatic ideology that swept into power eight decades ago" The Nazis believed in a master race militant islamist believe in a master faith they just disagree who among them will be the master of the master faith thats what they truly disagree on. Therefore the question before us is whether militant Islam will have the power to realize it's unbridled ambitions."

PLEASE! Can't we elect him President of the United States? If we can have a Kenyan, why not an Israeli?

Transcript below the fold.

PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU: Thank you, Mr. President. Distinguished delegates, I come here from Jerusalem to speak on behalf of my people, the people of Israel. I've come here to speak about the dangers we face and about the opportunities we seek. I've come here to expose the brazen lies spoken from this very podium against my country and against the brave soldiers who defend it.

Ladies and gentlemen, the people of Israel pray for peace, but our hopes and the world's hopes for peace are in danger because everywhere we look militant Islam is on the march. It's not militants. It's not Islam. It's militant Islam. And typically its first victims are other Muslims, but it spares no one: Christians, Jews, Yazidis, Kurds. No creed, no faith, no ethnic group is beyond its sights. And it's rapidly spreading in every part of the world.

You know the famous American saying, all politics is local? For the militant Islamists, all politics is global, because their ultimate goal is to dominate the world. Now, that threat might seem exaggerated to some since it starts out small, like a cancer that attacks a particular part of the body. But left unchecked, the cancer grows, metastasizing over wider and wider areas. To protect the peace and security of the world, we must remove this cancer before it's too late.

Last week, many of the countries represented here rightly applauded President Obama for leading the effort to confront ISIS, and yet weeks before, some of these same countries, the same countries that now support confronting ISIS, opposed Israel for confronting Hamas. They evidently don't understand that ISIS and Hamas are branches of the same poisonous tree.

ISIS and Hamas share a fanatical creed, which they both seek to impose well beyond the territory under their control. Listen to ISIS' self-declared caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This is what he said two months ago: A day will soon come when the Muslim will walk everywhere as a master. The Muslims will cause the world to hear and understand the meaning of terrorism and destroy the idol of democracy. Now listen to Khaled Mashal, the leader of Hamas. He proclaims a similar vision of the future: We say this to the West -- by Allah you will be defeated. Tomorrow our nation will sit on the throne of the world.

As Hamas' charter makes clear, Hamas' immediate goal is to destroy Israel, but Hamas has a broader objective. They also want a caliphate. Hamas shares the global ambitions of its fellow militant Islamists, and that's why its supporters wildly cheered in the streets of Gaza as thousands of Americans were murdered in 9/11, and that's why its leaders condemn the United States for killing Osama bin Laden whom they praised as a holy warrior.

So when it comes to their ultimate goals, Hamas is ISIS and ISIS is Hamas. And what they share in common all militant Islamists share in common. Boko Haram in Nigeria, Al-Shabab in Somalia, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Al-Nusra in Syria, the Mahdi army in Iraq, and the Al-Qaida branches in Yemen, Libya, the Philippines, India and elsewhere.

Some are radical Sunnis, some are radical Shiites, some want to restore a pre-medieval caliphate from the seventh century, others want to trigger the apocalyptic return of an imam from the ninth century. They operate in different lands, they target different victims and they even kill each other in their battle for supremacy. But they all share a fanatic ideology. They all seek to create ever-expanding enclaves of militant Islam where there is no freedom and no tolerance, where women are treated as chattel, Christians are decimated and minorities are subjugated, sometimes given the stark choice, convert or die. For them, anyone can be considered an infidel, including fellow Muslims.

Ladies and gentlemen, militant Islam's ambition to dominate the world seems mad, but so too did the global ambitions of another fanatic ideology that swept into power eight decades ago. The Nazis believed in a master race. The militant Islamists believe in a master faith. They just disagree who among them will be the master of the master faith. That's what they truly disagree about. And therefore, the question before us is whether militant Islam will have the power to realize its unbridled ambitions.

There is one place where that could soon happen -- the Islamic State of Iran. For 35 years, Iran has relentlessly pursued the global mission which was set forth by its founding ruler, Ayatollah Khomeini, in these words. "We will export our revolution to the entire world until the cry 'there is no god but Allah' will echo throughout the world over." And ever since, the regime's brutal enforcers, Iran's revolutionary guards, have done exactly that.

Listen to its current commander, General Mohammad Ali Jafari. And he clearly stated his goal. He said "Our imam did not limit the Islamic revolution to this country, our duty is to prepare the way for an Islamic world government."

Iran's President Rohani stood here last week and shed crocodile tears over what he called the globalization of terrorism. Maybe he should spare us those phony tears and have a word instead with the commanders of Iran's revolutionary guards. He could ask them to call off Iran's global terror campaign, which has included attacks in two dozen countries on five continents since 2011 alone.

You know, to say that Iran doesn't practice terrorism is like saying Derek Jeter never played shortstop for the New York Yankees. This is -- this bemoaning by the Iranian president of the spread of terrorism has got to be one of history's greatest displays of doubletalk.

Now, some argue that Iran's global terror campaign, its subversion of countries throughout the Middle East and well beyond the Middle East, some argue that this is the work of the extremists. They say things are changing. They point to last year's election in Iran. They claim that Iran's smooth-talking president and foreign minister, they've changed not only the tone of Iran's foreign policy but also its substance. They believe that Rohani and Zarif (generally/genuinely ?) want to reconcile with the West, that they've abandoned the global mission of the Islamic Revolution. Really?

So let's look at what Foreign Minister Zarif wrote in his book just a few years ago:

We have a fundamental problem with the West, and especially with America. This is because we are heirs to a global mission which is tied to our raison d'être, a global mission which is tied to our very reason for being.

And then Zarif asks a question -- I think an interesting one. He says: How come Malaysia -- he's referring to an overwhelmingly Muslim country -- how come Malaysia doesn't have similar problems? And he answers: Because Malaysia is not trying to change the international order.

That's your moderate. So don't be fooled by Iran's manipulative charm offensive. It's designed for one purpose and for one purpose only: to lift the sanctions and remove the obstacles to Iran's path to the bomb. The Islamic Republic is now trying to bamboozle its way to an agreement that will remove the sanctions it still faces and leave it with a capacity of thousands of refugees -- of centrifuges, rather -- to enrich uranium. This would effectively cement Iran's place as a threshold military nuclear power. And in the future, at the time of its choosing, Iran, the world's most dangerous regime, in the world's most dangerous region, would obtain the world's most dangerous weapons. Allowing that to happen would pose the gravest threat to us all. It's one thing to confront militant Islamists on pickup trucks armed with Kalashnikov rifles. It's another thing to confront militant Islamists armed with weapons of mass destruction.

I remember that last year, everyone here was rightly concerned about the chemical weapons in Syria, including the possibility that they would fall into the hands of terrorists. Well, that didn't happen, and President Obama deserves great credit for leading the diplomatic effort to dismantle virtually all of Syria's chemical weapons capability. Imagine how much more dangerous the Islamic State, ISIS, would be if it possessed chemical weapons. Now imagine how much more dangerous the Islamic state of Iran would be if it possessed nuclear weapons.

Ladies and gentlemen, would you let ISIS enrich uranium? Would you let ISIS build a heavy water reactor? Would you let ISIS develop intercontinental ballistic missiles? Of course you wouldn't. Then you mustn't let the Islamic state of Iran do those things either, because here's what will happen. Once Iran produces atomic bombs, all the charms and all the smiles will suddenly disappear. They'll just vanish. And it's then that the ayatollahs will show their true face and unleash their aggressive fanaticism on the entire world.

There's only one responsible course of action to address this threat. Iran's nuclear military capabilities must be fully dismantled. (Applause.) Make no mistake: ISIS must be defeated. But to defeat ISIS and leave Iran as a threshold nuclear power is to win the battle and lose the war. (Applause.) To defeat ISIS and leave Iran as a threshold nuclear power is to win the battle and lose the war.

Ladies and gentlemen, the fight against militant Islam is indivisible. When militant Islam succeeds anywhere, it's emboldened everywhere. When it suffers a blow in one place, it's set back in every place. That's why Israel's fight against Hamas is not just our fight, it's your fight. Israel is fighting a fanaticism today that your countries may be forced to fight tomorrow. For 50 days this past summer Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israel, many of them supplied by Iran. I want you to think about what your countries would do if thousands of rockets were fired at your cities. Imagine millions of your citizens having seconds at most to scramble to bomb shelters day after day. You wouldn't let terrorists fire rockets at your cities with impunity, nor would you let terrorists dig dozens of terror tunnels under your borders to infiltrate your towns in order to murder and kidnap your citizens. Israel justly defended itself against both rocket attacks and terror tunnels. (Applause.)

Yet Israel faced another challenge. We faced a propaganda war because in an attempt to win the world sympathy, Hamas cynically used Palestinian civilians as human shields. It used schools -- not just schools; UN schools -- private homes, mosques, even hospitals to store and fire rockets at Israel. As Israel surgically struck at the rocket launchers and at the tunnels, Palestinian civilians were tragically but unintentionally killed. There are heartrending images that resulted, and these fueled libelous charges that Israel was deliberately targeting civilians. We were not. We deeply regret every single civilian casualties.

And the truth is this: Israel was doing everything to minimize Palestinian civilian casualties. Hamas was doing everything to maximize Israeli civilian casualties and Palestinian civilian casualties. Israel dropped flyers, made phone calls, sent text messages, broadcast warnings in Arabic on Palestinian television, all this to enable Palestinian civilians to evaluate targeted areas. No other country and no other army in history have gone to greater lengths to avoid casualties among the civilian population of their enemies. (Applause.)

Now, this concern for Palestinian life was all the more remarkable given that Israeli civilians were being bombarded by rockets day after day, night after night. And as their families were being rocketed by Hamas, Israel's citizen army, the brave soldiers of the IDF, our young boys and girls, they upheld the highest moral values of any army in the world. (Applause.) Israel's soldiers deserve not condemnation but admiration, admiration from decent people everywhere. (Applause.)

Now, here is what Hamas did. Here is what Hamas did. Hamas embedded its missile batteries in residential areas and told Palestinians to ignore Israel's warnings to leave. And just in case people didn't get the message, they executed Palestinian civilians in Gaza who dared to protest. And no less reprehensible, Hamas deliberately placed its rockets where Palestinian children live and play. Let me show you a photograph. It was taken by a France 24 crew during the recent conflict. It shows two Hamas rocket launchers, which were used to attack us. You see three children playing next to them. Hamas deliberately put its rockets in hundreds of residential areas like this -- hundreds of them.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is a war crime. And I say to President Abbas, these are the crimes, the war crimes, committed by your Hamas partners in the national unity government which you head and you are responsible for. And these are the real war crimes you should have investigated or spoken out against from this podium last week. (Applause.)

Ladies and gentlemen, as Israel's children huddle in bomb shelters and Israel's Iron Dome missile defense knocked Hamas rockets out of the sky, the profound moral difference between Israel and Hamas couldn't have been clearer. Israel was using its missiles to protect its children. Hamas was using its children to protect its missiles. (Applause.)

By investigating Israel rather than Hamas for war crimes, the UN Human Rights Council has betrayed its noble mission to protect the innocent. In fact, what it's doing is to turn the laws of war upside down. Israel, which took unprecedented steps to minimize civilian casualties -- Israel is condemned. Hamas, which both targeted and hid behind civilians -- that's a double war crime -- Hamas is given a pass.

The Human Rights Council is thus sending a clear message to terrorists everywhere: Use civilians as a human shield. Use them again and again and again. And you know why? Because, sadly, it works. By granting international legitimacy to the use of human shields, the UN Human Rights Council has thus become a terrorist rights council, and it will have repercussions -- it probably already has -- about the use of civilians as human shields. It's not just our interests. It's not just our values that are under attack. It's your interests and your values.

Ladies and gentlemen, we live in a world steeped in tyranny and terror where gays are hanged from cranes in Tehran, political prisoners are executed in Gaza, young girls are abducted en masse in Nigeria, and hundreds of thousands are butchered in Syria, Libya and Iraq, yet nearly half -- nearly half of the UN Human Rights Council's resolutions focusing on a single country have been directed against Israel, the one true democracy in the Middle East; Israel, where issues are openly debated in a boisterous parliament, where human rights are protected by the -- by independent courts, and where women, gays and minorities live in a genuinely free society.

The human rights -- that's an oxymoron, the human -- UN Human Rights Council, but I'll use it just the same. The council's biased treatment of Israel is only one manifestation of the return of one of the world's largest prejudices. We hear mobs today in Europe call for the gassing of Jews. We hear some national leaders compare Israel to the Nazis. This is not a function of Israel's policies. It's a function of diseased minds. and that disease has a name. It's called anti-Semitism. It is now spreading in polite society where it masquerades as legitimate criticism of Israel.

For centuries the Jewish people have been demonized with blood libels and charges of deicide. Today the Jewish state is demonized with the apartheid libel and charges of genocide -- genocide. In what moral universe does genocide include warning the enemy civilian population to get out of harm's way, or ensuring that they receive tons -- tons of humanitarian aid each day even as thousands of rockets are being fired at us, or setting up a field hospital to aid their wounded?

Well, I suppose it's the same moral universe where a man who wrote a dissertation of lies about the Holocaust and who insists on a Palestine free of Jews -- Judenrein -- can stand at this podium and shamelessly accuse Israel of genocide and ethnic cleansing. In the past, outrageous lies against the Jews were the precursors to the wholesale slaughter of our people, but no more. Today, we, the Jewish people, have the power to defend ourselves. We will defend ourselves against our enemies on the battlefield -- (applause) -- we will expose their lies against us in the court of public opinion. Israel will continue to stand proud and unbowed. (Applause.)

Ladies and gentlemen, despite the enormous challenges facing Israel, I believe we have a historic opportunity. After decades of seeing Israel as their enemy, leading states in the Arab world increasingly recognize that together, we and they face many of the same dangers, and principally, this means a nuclear-armed Iran and militant Islamist movements gaining ground in the Sunni world. Our challenge is to transform these common interests to create a productive partnership, one that would build a more secure, peaceful and prosperous Middle East. Together, we can strengthen regional security, we can advance projects in water and agricultural, in transportation and health and energy in so many fields.

I believe the partnership between us can also help facilitate peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Now, many have long assumed that an Israeli-Palestinian peace can help facilitate a broader rapprochement between Israel and the Arab world. But these days, I think it may work the other way around, namely that a broader rapprochement between Israel and the Arab world may help facilitate an Israeli-Palestinian peace. And therefore, to achieve that peace, we must look not only to Jerusalem and Ramallah but also to Cairo, to Amman, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and elsewhere.

I believe peace can be realized with the active involvement of Arab countries -- those that are willing to provide political, material and other indispensable support. I'm ready to make a historic compromise, not because Israel occupies a foreign land. The people of Israel are not occupiers in the land of Israel. (Applause.) History, archaeology and common sense all make clear that we have had a singular attachment to this land for over 3,000 years.

I want peace because I want to create a better future for my people, but it must be a genuine peace -- one that is anchored in mutual recognition and enduring security arrangements -- rock solid security arrangements on the ground, because you see, Israeli withdrawals from Lebanon and Gaza created two militant Islamic enclaves on our borders for which tens of thousands of rockets have been fired at Israel, and these sobering experiences heightens Israel's security concerns (regarding ?) potential territorial concessions in the future.

Now, those security concerns are even greater today. Just look around you. The Middle East is in chaos, states are disintegrating, and militant Islamists are filling the void. Israel cannot have territories from which it withdraws taken over by Islamic militants yet again, as happened in Gaza and Lebanon. That would place the likes of ISIS within mortar range, a few miles, of 80 percent of our population.

Now think about that. The distance between the 1967 lines and the suburbs of Tel Aviv is like the distance between the UN building here and Times Square. Israel is a tiny country. That's why in any peace agreement, which will obviously necessitate a territorial compromise, I will always insist that Israel be able to defend itself by itself against any threat. (Applause.)

And yet despite everything that has happened, some still don't take Israel's security concerns seriously. But I do and I always will -- (applause) -- because as prime minister of Israel, I'm entrusted with the awesome responsibility of ensuring the future of the Jewish people and the future of the Jewish state. And no matter what pressure is brought to bear, I will never waiver in fulfilling that responsibility. (Applause.)

I believe that with a fresh approach from our neighbors, we can advance peace despite the difficulties we face. See, in Israel, we have a record of making the impossible possible. We've made a desolate land flourish, and with very few natural resources, we've used the fertile minds of our people to turn Israel into a global center of technology and innovation, and peace, of course, would enable Israel to realize its full potential and to bring a promising future not only for our people, not only for the Palestinian people, but for many, many others in our region.

But the old template for peace must be updated. It must take into account new realities and new roles and responsibilities for our Arab neighbors.

Ladies and gentlemen, there is a new Middle East. It presents new dangers but also new opportunities. Israel is prepared to work with Arab partners and the international community to confront those dangers and to seize those opportunities. Together, we must recognize the global threat of militant Islam, the primacy of dismantling Iran's nuclear weapons capability and the indispensable role of Arab states in advancing peace with the Palestinians. All this may fly in the face of conventional wisdom, but it's the truth, and the truth must always be spoken, especially here in the United Nations. (Applause.)

Isaiah, our great prophet of peace, taught us nearly 3,000 years ago in Jerusalem to speak truth to power. (Speaks in Hebrew.) For the sake of Zion, I will not be silent, for the sake of Jerusalem, I will not be still until her justice shines bright and her salvation glows like a flaming torch.

Ladies and gentlemen, let us light a torch of truth and justice to safeguard our common future. Thank you.

Dear ISIS (ISIL/IS): Steven Sotloff Was Israeli

Israeli media gag order was lifted today and notes Mr Sotloff made aliyah (immigrated) to Israel in 2005.

American journalist Steven Sotloff, who was brutally beheaded by the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, took great risks to keep his Jewish faith in captivity, a former fellow-captive of the murdered journalist told Yediot Aharonoth.

However, it turns out that Sotloff was in fact Israeli.

A media gag order on the issue was released on Wednesday, allowing publication of the fact that Sotloff made aliyah (immigration) to Israel in 2005 by himself, and studied at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya.[...]

Heroically maintaining Judaism under captivity

Sotloff reportedly made sure to fast in secret during Yom Kippur and even prayed in the direction of Jerusalem, as is customary in Jewish prayers, despite the risk he faced if his Islamist captors ever found out he was Jewish.

One of Sotloff's fellow captives, who was subsequently released, told the paper that he feigned illness in order to escape his captors' suspicions.

"He told them he was ill and didn't want to eat, even though they brought us eggs that day," the witness told Yediot Aharonoth, "It looked like he was praying in a hidden way towards Jerusalem. He noted what way the Muslims were praying in and changed his direction slightly."[ More]

Yeah bitches, you blew it and he won!

Some people are commenting (His family is not pleased with Obama) that Mr Sotloff was beheaded on the same day Mr Foley was. Wrong! In the Foley beheading video Mr Sotloff was pretty much clean shaven including his hair. In the Sotloff beheading video his beard was starting to show as well as the hair on his head growing back.

Tip of the hat to @El_Grillo

I would like to remember Steven Sotloff this way:

An Open Letter To John Kerry

From A Soldier's Mother:

Dear Secretary of State John Kerry:

Because of my respect for the United States, I will attempt to afford you the honor you think you so richly deserve. It's hard to speak to you with anything but anger, hard to feel the need, again, to start from the beginning because you clearly choose to ignore history in your quest for glory. It is a quest destined to fail but its outcome, even, or more accurately especially, in failure, will hurt Israel.

Greater men than you have tried to make, to force, peace on the Middle East. I promise you, you will fail too. You will fail because you are not addressing the root cause of the problem. You, like so many before you, take the easy way out. Blame Israel. It is so easy to do, and so stupid.

Read it all.

Crane Attack in Israel Kills One Civilian

Today in Jerusalem there was a terrorist attack of sorts, a Palestinian took control of a track-hoe, except it has wheels not tracks. I'm not sure what to call that.

A male pedestrian approximately 30 years old was run over by the tractor as it headed toward the bus and was killed. The tractor driver, identified as East Jerusalem resident Muhammed Naif El-Ja’abis, turned the bus over onto its side during the attack, making several efforts to do so before he succeeded. The bus driver as well as five others were lightly hurt.

Police said the attack, which took place at the end of Shmuel Hanavi Street, near the Olive Tree Hotel, was nationalistically motivated.

A police officer and Prisons Service official who realized what was happening ran up to the tractor and fired a volley of shots at the terrorist as he sat in the cab and killed him, Jerusalem police chief Yossi Pariente said.

Here is video of the attack and of Israeli police stopping the attack.

He's dead, Jim?

Yup, He's dead Jim!

Of course there will be no outrage from Hamas over the death of the Israeli civilian. They've declared every single living Jew a legitimate target, its only "wrong" when they die. See how this works?

Netanyahu To Obama: "F%@K OFF!"

He really did, just not in so many words...

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.

Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration "not to ever second guess me again" on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be "trusted" on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.

Bibi makes a valid point. I wish we had a strong leader like that.

Major Terrorist Attack Thwarted In Israel

And yet some actually blame Israel for the aggression.

Thousands of Hamas-linked terrorists planned to invade Israel on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah), which begins on September 24, according to an Israel security source.

First reported by i24news, "thousands of terrorists were meant to cross over to Israel from Gaza through the tunnels and kill and kidnap as many Israelis as they could. The source added that the army learned about the huge planned attack during the interrogations of Hamas prisoners, captured during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza." (Source)

The Nation Of Israel Will Never Give Up

Morale is high among the IDF. In this video, Israeli soldiers began singing during one of their breaks.

The translation from Legal Insurrection:

THE ONE WHO BELIEVES

Every place, all the time
The old and young has
Beautiful and less beautiful days
Among them answers to all the questions

There is one mighty God
He gives us everything in this world
Between darkness to a sun beam
We only need to choose the path

It is known life is a gift
All is expected and is allowed

The one who believes is not afraid
To lose faith
We all have the King of the universe
Who guards us from it all

This nation is a family
One and one more is the secret of success
The nation of Israel will never give up
We will always stay on the map

It is known life is a gift
All is expected and is allowed

The one who believes is not afraid
To lose faith
We all have the King of the universe
Who guards us from it all

Survival, self-defense, and a celebration of life.

Compare that sentiment with a song from Hamas below the fold.

A Muslim, A Zionist, And An IDF Soldier Walks Into A Bar...

He orders a non-alcoholic brew and tells us his story:

"From the age of zero I was told that Israel stole Palestine from us, but when I was 14 I woke up. I discovered that Jews are not bad," says Ala Wahib [...]

"I am the operations officer at the IDF ground forces training base at Tze'elim,” Ala Wahib says at the start of our conversation, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "I am like the mother and father of that place," he adds. "The only thing is that I don't really have anyone to share it with, so I make sure to pat myself on the back every now and again, and say 'dude, you're awesome. Look how far you've come.'"

The truth is that he deserves these accolades. It is not every day that a Muslim Arab, hailing from a village whose residents largely do not recognize Israel's right to exist, comes to serve in the Israel Defense Forces. And he doesn't only serve: Major Wahib, 32, is currently the highest ranking Muslim officer in the IDF. He is enormously patriotic, a true Zionist. Precisely the kind of person we like to see lighting the torches during the national Independence Day ceremony every year.

Read it all.

Major Wahib is living proof that not all Muslims are bad people. I just wish there were more like him. It is unfortunate that his Muslim communities view him as the traitor rather than the terrorists among them.

BBC Goes For a Fatwa! Reports on False #GazaUnderAttack Hate Campaign

Shocking, shocking that someone reported it. You'll never hear this on MSNBC or ABC or CBS or even Fox.

BBC:

Graphic images are being shared on social media to show how people have been affected by the renewed tensions between Israel and the Palestinians.

Hamas has been firing rockets from Gaza into southern Israel, which has responded with airstrikes on Gaza. Several Palestinian militants have been killed and on Tuesday it was reported that at least 15 Palestinians had been injured.

Over the past week the hashtag #GazaUnderAttack has been used hundreds of thousands of times, often to distribute pictures claiming to show the effects the airstrikes.

Some of the images are of the current situation in Gaza, but a #BBCtrending analysis has found that some date as far back as 2009 and others are from conflicts in Syria and Iraq.

You will find news like this on Jawa Report.

We praises the Beeb for risking a Fatwa declaring them Islamophobic Zionists to tell the truth. Very few news organizations will report this.

But there is something you can do about it, see below the fold.

Pollute their hashtag with Zionist showtunes!

Obama Asks Israel Not To "Destabilize The Situation"

Come on, Israel. Just allow your (and our) children to be kidnapped and murdered. Don't do anything that might upset the Muhammadan hordes.

After all, a few murderous abductions of innocent civilians is part of the peace process!

President Obama urged Israeli leaders not to “destabilize the situation” following the discovery of the bodies of three teenagers, including one American citizen, who were kidnapped by Hamas, according to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

UPDATE: Breitbart adds more on the weak words by a weak president (Thanks, Howie!):

President Obama expressed his "deepest condolences" to the family of the slain teenagers. He added: "I also urge all parties to refrain from steps that could further destabilize the situation." President Obama did not accuse Hamas of this despicable act nor did he say our government would assist Israel in its search for security and justice. Obama has once again called for "restraint" and "stability." Does he mean that Jihadists should refrain from Jihad because it is "de-stabilizing" the entire Middle East or does he mean, more likely, that Israel should "refrain" from defending itself?

White House spokesman, Josh Earnest, also said: "We obviously condemn in the strongest possible terms violence that takes the lives of innocent civilians."

This is a very unsatisfying and peculiar statement. To what is Earnest referring? This could apply to anyone anywhere at any time. It's lack of specificity is cruel and insulting.

Chessler on the 7th Day of Captivity For Three Israeli Teens

It bothers my that my friend Phyllis believes people in the US think, "From their point of view, Israel’s very existence is, allegedly, a colonialist crime..."

Because, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

For this I am often cursed as a Zionist or a Jew by those online who hate the Jews and support their kidnapping and murder. As a not very good Baptist, its an honor to be cursed by such folks, its reassuring to know that Jewish scripture confirms I'll be on the right side of history.

I feel that all Christians are blessed through the Jews, its through them that we know the word of God and through them that Jesus came to this Earth, so that not only they but all of us could be saved, could come to know the Lord.

So today this blog belongs to Phyllis and Israel, we pray that the missing boys Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Fraenkel are released safely and without condition.

Phyllis Chesler: This is the seventh day of captivity for the three kidnapped Israeli teenagers. Some well-meaning Jews have already compared them to the mainly Christian girls in Nigeria who were also captured by Islamist terrorists. The girls were taken on April 15th and have, so far, been in captivity for sixty-six days.

No one is condemning the smirking epidemic of three fingered salutes by Palestinian children. Each finger stands for one of the kidnapped boys and they are mocking the Jews and celebrating the kidnapping. An entire next generation of Palestinian children are being spoiled, destroyed, taught to glorify hate, cruelty, violence, and death.
As to the media: On June 18, 2014, the New York Times had the strangest, spookiest placement for their coverage of the Prayer Vigils held in New York City for Eyal, Gilad and Naftali. It appeared on page A24—opposite the Obituaries of a novelist, a children’s book editor, and a copy-writer. I was quite taken aback. This coverage might have appeared in the City section or perhaps as news, earlier on. It was a fairly sympathetic piece; is this the reason that editors placed it among the Obituaries? Is it entirely coincidental, accidental, or is someone assuming, even actually wishing that these boys are dead? What other rational explanation can there be for such a bizarre placement?

My apologies to our greatest ally in the Middle East for not giving this issue a top place on our blog earlier. And may God, "bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee". And may we never forgot that it is through Israel that we are all blessed.

Israeli Hackers Expose Anonymous Members

Israeli_Elite_Force_Hackers_Official_Twitter_Logo.jpeg

Israeli hackers hijacked the webcams of several Anonymous members and posted their images online:

Israeli hackers have gone on the offensive against their anti-Israel opponents in revenge for the #OpIsrael hacking attack against Israeli sites and servers.

After the failed "operation" by members of the "Anonymous" hacker network, Israeli hackers from Israel Elite Force took the fight to them - robbing them of their anonymity by posting details and even photos of some of the hackers on their website.

The hacker behind the counterattack, an Israeli known as "Buddhax", said that he did it to make anti-Israel hackers "think twice" before attacking Israeli sites, and to expose them as amateurs. [...]

After infiltrating the target computers via a Trojan horse, he managed to lure the hapless hackers to their computers and take pictures of them using their own webcams - which he promptly posted online together with a list of personal information and a direct message to his targets: "Next time don't take part in OpIsrael. Long live Israel."

Hezbollah Brings Roadside Bomb to an Israeli Fighter Plane Fight

It looks like Hezbollah was behind a roadside bomb in Israel yesterday that wounded some soldiers in the Golan Heights. So in retaliation, Israel struck Syria today:

Four Israeli paratroopers were injured Tuesday when the bomb exploded under their patrol jeep in the Golan Heights, near the frontier between Israel and Syria, the Israel Defense Forces said...

Israeli forces responded to the blast with artillery fire aimed at Syrian military targets across the frontier, it said. This was followed by airstrikes early Wednesday....

A statement from the Syrian army command, broadcast by Syrian state TV, said one soldier was killed and seven others injured in Israeli airstrikes on a checkpoint in the Quneitra area.

Non-Sarcastic Good News: Israel Targets Terror Rocket Launchers

Sweet:

Moments ago, an IAF aircraft targeted terrorists preparing to launch rockets in the northern Gaza Strip.

The mission was carried out in order to eliminate an imminent attack targeting civilian communities of southern Israel.

Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, IDF Spokesman: “IDF intelligence, operational capability and determination to eliminate a real-time threat keeps Israelis safe in their homes. This is our obligation and commitment to the civilians in the south of Israel.”

God bless 'em!

Meanwhile, our President is busy trying to make peace. Not in the Ukraine where Russia is busy invading it's neighbors, but in Israel. You know, you gotta have your priorities.

Leftist Antisemitics Demand Israel Closes Factory That Employs Hundreds Of Palestinians

The same ignorant fools that insist terrorism is the result of poverty want to take away the best jobs in Palestine:

Jews and Palestinians might think an Israeli company providing hundreds of jobs in Palestinian territory is a way to promote peace and prosperity, but some international groups think they know better. [...]

The SodaStream factory, situated in one of the largest West Bank settlements of Ma’ale Adumim, has been a persistent target of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, established in 2005 with the aim of supporting calls for the West Bank to be returned to Palestinian hands and to delegitimize any Israeli businesses that operate from the territory.

SodaStream, whose commercial for their fizzy drink maker will be screened during the Super Bowl, provides on-site prayer facilities for all its workers and has constructed a synagogue and a small mosque within its premises. But most of all, it provides work in an area where jobs are scarce.

“Before boycotting, they should think of the workers who are going to suffer,” one man told the Monitor. He said he earned the equivalent of $6 a day plucking and cleaning chickens at his last job,but now earns nearly 10 times that at SodaStream, which also provides transportation, breakfast, and lunch.

Arik, King of Israel, Dead

Ariel-Sharon-1967.jpg

From the Jerusalem Post:

Former prime minister Ariel Sharon died on Saturday at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, days after his condition deteriorated dramatically. [...]

Sharon's career ended in January 2006 when he suffered a debilitating stroke, his second in under a month. Since then, he has been in a coma on life support systems. [...]

Sharon was one of Israel's legendary politicians and military leaders. He played an instrumental role in IDF victories in the Sinai desert in both the 1967 Six Day War and in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. His victories on the battlefield, immortalized by the image of him in an IDF uniform with a white bandage wrapped around his wounded forehead, earned him the title, "Arik, King of Israel."

Israeli Soldier Killed by Terrorist on Bus

Sometimes terrorists use knives:

This morning (November 13, 2013), a Palestinian terrorist stabbed and killed an IDF soldier at the Central Bus Station in the northern city of Afula. The soldier was 19-year-old Pvt. Eden Atias, from the Israeli city of Nazareth Illit.

Pvt. Atias was wearing an IDF uniform and was headed to a military base at the time of the attack. The soldier was severely injured and evacuated to a nearby hospital, where he died of his wounds. The terrorist was immediately detained and transferred to security forces for questioning.

Our prayers are with the family of the victim.

University: Racist IDF Soldiers Won't Rape Palestinian Women

An older story, but Legal Insurrection brings it up in this article about anti-Israeli movements:

A research paper that won a Hebrew University teachers' committee prize finds that the lack of IDF rapes of Palestinian women is designed to serve a political purpose. [...]

The next sentence delineates the particular goals that are realized in this manner: "In the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, it can be seen that the lack of military rape merely strengthens the ethnic boundaries and clarifies the inter-ethnic differences - just as organized military rape would have done."

The paper further theorizes that Arab women in Judea and Samaria are not raped by IDF soldiers because the women are de-humanized in the soldiers' eyes.

I guess this explains why so many Muslims do rape - because they are not racists and they view non-Muslim women as humans. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Al Qaeda Types Fire 4 Rockets at Israel

Luckily, these people are retarded and no one was killed. Thank God for small favors and inbred genes. Generations and generations of inbred genes:

Four rockets fired from southern Lebanon targeted northern Israel on Thursday afternoon, setting off air raid sirens in Acre, Nahariya, and additional areas in the Western Galilee and sending frightened local residents fleeing for cover.

There were no injuries in the attack, Magen David Adom paramedics said....

Global jihad elements in Lebanon, not Hezbollah, fired the rockets, according to the army's initial assessments.

"Global jihad elements" is a euphemism for Sunni militants with al Qaeda ties or sympathies.

One of the rockets was shot down by Israel's "Iron Dome" defense system, but the other three got through.

Hey Israel, buddy: you're in our prayers.

In related news, not only is Pink Floyd's music pretentious and overbearing, they're also a bunch of assh*les that hate Israel. Seriously, name a Pink Floys song that doesn't go on and on and on and on and on .....

Show me a guy who has actually sat through The Wall and I'll show you a stoner who can't tell the difference between drugged out musing and insightful philosophy.

But luckily, Bar Rafaeli is on the case.

What You Won't See In The Media: Israel Treating Syrian Wounded

From The Times Of Israel:

A three-year-old girl injured in the bloody Syrian war was transferred to Israel for treatment Saturday morning. Together with her mother, the toddler was evacuated to Ziv Medical Center in Safed, where she was treated for shrapnel wounds. She was admitted to the pediatric unit of the hospital and was in serious condition.

Earlier this week, four Syrians were brought to the same hospital in Safed for treatment for injuries sustained in the Syrian civil war.

One of the patients was a 15-year-old girl who lost her foot during the fighting, Israel Radio reported.

Approximately 100 Syrians have been brought to Israel for treatment over the last several months. [...]

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon in early June confirmed for the first time that Israel is operating a field hospital on the Syrian border. He said the IDF was transferring severely wounded Syrian nationals to Israeli hospitals for treatment. Initial reports of an IDF field hospital in the Golan Heights surfaced in February.

International Red Cross Plants Trees To Honor Pali Terrorists

Via Palwatch

In a ceremony celebrating its 150th anniversary, the International Red Cross together with the Palestinian Red Crescent planted 150 trees bearing the names of "veteran prisoners." The Palestinian Authority uses the term "veteran prisoners" to refer to those who have been in jail the longest, and in most cases are serving life sentences for murder or multiple murders. Giorgio Ferrario, representative of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, participated in this ceremony honoring terrorists, which was named "My Honor is My Freedom."

Palestinian Media Watch recently reported that Issa Abd Rabbo, who shot and murdered two university students hiking near Jerusalem, was referred to as a "veteran prisoner." Abd Rabbo was recently honored by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. (See below - names of more murderers serving life sentences referred to by the PA as "veteran prisoners.")

The Palestinian Red Crescent's website writes that its "programs, projects and events" are funded by the International Red Cross:

Words escape me, oh wait. Did you hear about Newseum wanting to honor two Hamas terrorists, which they called 'journalists', alongside memorializing others such as Daniel Pearl?
A Washington D.C.-based journalism museum announced just moments before the start of a memorial service for slain reporters that it would not honor two Hamas terrorists as originally scheduled.

The Newseum made the announcement just minutes before the induction of several new reporters into its Journalist Memorial, which honors members of the media who have been killed in the line of duty.

“Serious questions have been raised as to whether two of the individuals included on our initial list of journalists who died covering the news this past year were truly journalists or whether they were engaged in terrorist activities,” the museum said in a statement posted to its website.

At least they did the right thing but it shows the scope of those who fall for Pallywood productions.

Steven Hawking No Boycott of Israel

Legal Insurrection:

The academic boycott of Israel organized by the BDS movement claimed a big success when the Guardian ran an article yesterday, Stephen Hawking joins academic boycott of Israel.

But it may have been a lie, the BDS equivalent of Pallywood.

Responding to an e-mail including an open letter to Prof. Hawking, shared nearly 2000 times, a University spokesman said: “Professor Hawking will not be attending the conference in Israel in June for health reasons – his doctors have advised against him flying.”

When asked for further information, the spokesperson confirmed that the BRICUP organisation had “assumed” Hawking’s position on the matter, and that it was fundamentally untrue.

Report: Israel Conducts Air Strike Against Syria

CNN Breaking.

The United States believes Israel has conducted an airstrike into Syria, two U.S. officials tell CNN. U.S. and Western intelligence agencies are reviewing classified data showing Israel most likely conducted a strike in the Thursday-Friday time frame, according to both officials. This is the same time frame that the U.S. collected additional data showing Israel was flying a high number of warplanes over Lebanon.

I must ask the question. If Obama wasn't President, wouldn't we know for sure if Israel had conducted this air strike?

Updates as they become available.

Hithem Ziad Ibrahim Masshal Eliminated: IDF Splodes Senior MSC Member

eliminated_idf.jpg

Sweet

[A]n IAF aircraft on Gaza Tuesday morning assassinated a senior Salafist terror activist who was reportedly behind an April 17 rocket attack on Eilat from the Sinai.

The IDF and Shin Bet security service confirmed that they had targeted Hithem Ziad Ibrahim Masshal, 24, from the Shati refugee camp.

The attack marked the first “targeted strike” on a Gaza terror figure by Israel since November’s Operation Pillar of Defense, and came amid a renewal of sporadic rocket fire into Israel that seemed to show the deterrent effect of November’s operation was eroding.

David Barnett of the Long War Journal has more:
According to the IDF, Masshal, who "manufactured, improved and traded different types of ammunition," was involved in the April 17 rocket attack on Eilat from the Sinai, for which the Mujahideen Shura Council in the Environs of Jerusalem (MSC) had taken responsibility[...]

Following the Eilat attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warned that Israel would "exact a price for this [the attack]; this has been our consistent policy for the past four years and it will serve us here as well." Egypt was reportedly briefed ahead of today's strike.

This afternoon, the MSC released a statement through the Ibn Taymiyyah Media Center confirming that Masshal was a member of their organization. During the funeral, Masshal was wrapped in al Qaeda's black flag, which was first used by al Qaeda in Iraq but has been adopted by other al Qaeda affiliates.
