Sharia in America! Ohio Man Murders Daughter in Apparent Honor Killing

Total accident, he slipped and hot her in the head, twice.....

A 63-year-old father is facing murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence charges after Rocky River police say he shot his daughter twice.

Tahani Mansour was rushed to Fairview Hospital Tuesday morning. She died around 11 a.m., 10 hours after police say Jamal Mansour shot her. In front of a judge on Tuesday, he said it was an accident.

She was getting a little uppity. Earning a degree and probably about to take out on her own.Jamal probably could not accept that as neighbors say they never saw the children.

I mean imagine a strong independent well educated Muslima wanting to run her own life rather than live under her father's thumb. Totally Haram.

Reward $100k For Yaser Abdel Said

Yaser Abdel Said, wanted for the murder of his two teenage daughters in Texas, has been named to the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

A reward of up to $100,000 is being offered for information leading directly to the arrest of Said, who was born in Egypt and may be hiding there or in U.S. communities with Egyptian ties.

On January 1, 2008, Said persuaded his estranged daughters—Amina, 18, and Sarah, 17—to visit him. He said he was going to take them to get something to eat. Instead, he allegedly drove them in his taxi cab to a remote location and used a handgun to murder them. One of the girls was able to make a 911 call and was heard screaming for help, saying she and her sister were being shot by their father. Their bodies were discovered several hours later in the cab, which was abandoned outside a hotel in Irving, Texas.

“Yaser Abdel Said is wanted for his alleged role in committing a terrible act of violence against his own daughters,” said Diego Rodriguez, special agent in charge of our Dallas Field Office. “Adding him to the Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list shows our commitment to seek justice for Amina and Sarah.”

Since the murders nearly seven years ago, the case has received widespread publicity, and law enforcement has followed every credible lead, but Said remains at large. Today’s announcement, Rodriguez noted, should draw increased attention to the case. “We believe that the combination of publicity, the significant reward, and the team of experienced investigators working the case from the Dallas Violent Crimes Task Force and the Irving Police Department will result in Said’s arrest.”

Special Agent Gil Balli, a task force supervisor who is leading the investigation, explained that “Said likely fled immediately after the murders. There have been many reports that he is in the U.S., but we are not ruling out the possibility that he is abroad.” Balli added that investigators are coordinating with law enforcement partners in Egypt and Canada along with U.S. law enforcement agencies.

The last confirmed sighting of Said, now age 57, was in Irving, Texas, in 2008. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair, and possibly a thick moustache.

In addition to Egypt and Canada, investigators believe Said has ties to the Dallas-Fort Worth region and the New York City area. He frequents diners—including Denny’s and IHOP restaurants—smokes Marlboro Lights 100s cigarettes, and loves dogs, especially tan- and black-colored German Shepherds. He may be working as a taxi driver.

Said—the 504th person to be named to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list since its creation in 1950—is considered armed and dangerous. He reportedly carries a weapon with him at all times.

We need your help: If you have information about Yaser Abdel Said, call 1-800-CALL-FBI, or contact your nearest law enforcement agency or U.S. Embassy or Consulate. You can also submit a tip online at

“These murders were brutal and cold-blooded,” Balli said. “If a person is capable of killing his own daughters, there is no telling what he might do. We need to catch this individual and prevent him from harming anyone else.”

Kassim Alhimidi's Murder Trial Begins

Kassim's wife's murder was at first played in the press as an act of violence inspired by Islamophobia

EL CAJON, Calif. – The killing of Kassim Alhimidi's Iraqi wife in the city of El Cajon drew international attention after their daughter said she found a note by her mother's bludgeoned body that read: "Go back to your country, you terrorist."

But police say the evidence points to Alhimidi as the only suspect for the murder of 32-year-old Shaima Alawadi.

His trial gets into full swing Tuesday when prosecutors and his attorney are scheduled to present their arguments to San Diego Superior Court in El Cajon.

Defense Attorney Richard Berkon Jr. says no blood was found on Alhimidi and his client does not speak English, raising doubts he planted the note.

Police say lab tests showed the note was a photocopy and divorce documents were found in Alawadi's car.

later on its gotten less play in the press.

Update: Good coverage here from The Republic:

An Iraqi man accused of killing his Muslim wife in their California home in what initially appeared to be a hate crime lied to police about his whereabouts on that fateful day and his troubled marriage, prosecutors say.

But defense lawyers say Kassim Alhimidi, who does not speak English, initially gave police contradictory statements about his marriage because he was distraught about Shaima Alawadi's fatal beating and was afraid he could be accused of a crime he didn't commit. They pointed out that no blood, fingerprints or DNA has been found that links him to the murder, and his wife, who was contemplating divorce, also had problems with their teenage daughter, who was dating a Christian boy.

Alhimidi sobbed loudly during the opening of his trial Tuesday when the prosecution played a recording of the 911 call from their eldest daughter on March 21, 2012, to report that she had found her mother in a pool of blood in their kitchen area. At one point, Alhimidi dropped his head to the table, shaking and crying out in Arabic. The judge halted the proceedings briefly and asked Alhimidi through an interpreter to use a cloth to muffle the sounds, so jurors could hear.

Judge Rules Enough Evidence to Hold Kassim Alhimidi For Trial in Murder of Shaima Alawadi

EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) - A judge on Friday ordered an Iraqi immigrant to stand trial in California in the killing of his wife, whose fatal beating prompted international condemnation because it had appeared to be a hate crime.

San Diego County Superior Court Judge Lantz Lewis announced his decision after Kassim Alhimidi's lawyer urged the court to let his client go, saying there is no forensic evidence linking him to the death of his wife, 32-year-old Shaima Alawadi.

Attorney Richard Berkon Jr. noted no blood or glass was found on Alhimidi's body or clothing, or in his car. And he said his client does not speak English, raising doubts he was capable of staging the killing as a hate crime by planting the note found in the next room that read: "Go back to your country, you terrorist."

Alhimidi has pleaded not guilty to murder. He also has cooperated with police throughout the investigation, even voluntarily returning from Iraq after burying his wife in their homeland.

"It doesn't make sense, your honor," Berkon told Lewis. "The real killer is still out there."

The judge said the most persuasive evidence for him was street-camera footage that indicates Alhimidi might have driven a short distance from home that fateful March 21, 2012, morning and parked his car - contradicting his story to investigators that he had gone for a drive to relax at that time.

"It appears to be a lie," Lewis said in explaining his ruling.

The March 21, 2012, killing of Shaima Alawadi initially drew international condemnation after her daughter said she found the note. Deputy District Attorney Kurt Mechals said El Cajon police worked tirelessly to find the truth and found the evidence showed the 32-year-old mother of five was killed by her husband.

Shaima Alawadi was found bludgeoned to death in her home.
A note was found with her body indicating the murder was a case of Islamophobia
Police later determined the note was a ruse.

Alaa Youssef Who Fled to Egypt With Children Wanted in Murder of Muslima

Columbia Magazine:

A mowing crew came upon the body on the morning of May 29th. There was no identification located on or around the woman. It was determined that she suffered blunt force trauma to her head.

Roshdy was reported as a missing person on the evening of June 20th by a friend who learned that family members in Egypt were concerned for her welfare. The police department's Homicide/Cold Case Unit, which coordinates adult missing person investigations, spoke by telephone with family members in Egypt through an interpreter last week and entered Roshdy's information into a national law enforcement database. The Kentucky connection was then established.

Through the investigation thus far, which included the execution of a search warrant at the Millwood Drive apartment Roshdy shared with her husband and two young daughters (both under the age of 10), detectives believe it likely that Roshdy was killed in the apartment and, shortly thereafter, dumped on the side of the interstate in Kentucky. Roshdy last reported for work at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel on Old Hickory Boulevard at I-65 in South Nashville on May 25th. She was last seen by neighbors at Millwood Manor Apartments, 305 Millwood Drive, on May 26th. Her husband, Alaa Youssef, 39, who worked for Tyson Foods in Shelbyville, flew out of Nashville with the couple's two daughters on June 7th. They arrived in Cairo, Egypt, on June 8th.

Youssef, is considered to be a suspect in Roshdy's death and is wanted for questioning. The investigation, which is being led by Metro Nashville Detective Jill Weaver, is continuing. - From Nashville Metro Police

Its probably that Egypt will never return Alaa Youssef to the US to face charges, Yaser Abdel Said who murdered his two daughters is Egyptian and he has never been found, its highly likely he too fled to Egypt.

Shaima Alawadi Still Awaits Justice

The one year anniversary of her murder was April 21st. My bad for failing to note that.

Muslim Street:

On March 21, 2012, an Iraqi woman was found murdered in her home. Initially presented as a hate crime, further investigation into the case determined Shaima Alawadi was murdered by her husband. As we pass the one year anniversary of Shaima’s murder, it is important for us to honor her memory and internally reflect as the Muslim community on how we could have prevented Shaima’s murder. As someone who believes that a true call for justice on behalf of victims of violence can only be attained if we eradicate the very root causes that lead to such atrocities, then true justice for Shaima can only be realized if we acknowledge the pervasiveness of abuse in the American Muslim community.

When the murder of Shaima initially happened, there was immense level of solidarity and activism. However as soon as more information was released that this was a domestic violence case and not a hate crime based on religion, the call demanding justice for Shaima disappeared-a call that would have asked us to all reflect on why are women in our community being murdered when they ask for a divorce. How is it that we were more willing to police the daughter of Shaima for being in car with a man and having sex, but didn’t have the courage to ask why was it that even when she attempted suicide, and reported in an emergency room that she was being forced to marry someone against her consent that there was no response from law enforcement.

Prett good take on the issues by Muslim Street, except for when they state that forced marriage is not a crime in the US. I would take exception to that, every man and woman here has the right to choose of their own free will whom to marry. So the idea of a forced marriage is a bit alien here to say the least.

I guess the real challenge is knowing you have the right to refuse and that most all methods of coercion especially those by force are also unlawful. From what I recall the trial if Kassim Alawadi should be starting soon. If anyone has information on those proceedings please let us know.

Prior to the attack, the girl's father had rejected a marriage proposal for his daughter.

Kassim Alhimidi Enters Not Guilty Plea in Shaima Alhimidi Murder Case

Kassim Alhimidi, 48, appeared in court via a video monitor Tuesday on charges he killed Shaima Alawadi, 32, in March 2012. He was ordered held without bail after prosecutors said he recently traveled to Iraq and was a flight risk. If convicted, he could face 25 years to life in prison.

The couple's teenage daughter Fatima Alhimidi cried quietly in the courtroom.

The judge ordered Kassim held without bail, although its not clear if that was because the judge feared he would flee to Iraq or because of the evidence against him.

David Simon:

Observe the process by which we remove some of the most essential American figures of the last century for having failed to corral their sexual organs in the marital bedroom: Roosevelt, gone. Eisenhower, gone. Kennedy, gone. Lyndon Johnson, gone. Clinton, gone. Martin Luther King, Jr., gone. Edward Murrow, gone.
I'd Add Patton, Eisenhower, Jefferson, Lee, Grant, Roosevelt and Roosevelt. I'm sure we can all add a few names to the list.

Sandcrawler PSA: Don't Let the Arrest in the Hate Crime Murder Case of Shaima Alawadi be Lost in a Friday Afternoon News Dump.

Yeah that's right, actually it was a hate crime, but not a hate crime based on American bias against Muslims.

Jail records show the woman’s husband, Kassim Alhimidi, 48, was booked into jail Thursday evening by El Cajon police on one count of first degree murder. He is being held without bail.
Due to the Kassim's disinformation which was spread and promoted by CAIR at the time of Shaima's murder, its important that not only will justice be served but that the resolution to the case is known. So that the false narrative that CAIR spreads, the stereotype of Americans as haters of Muslims, can also be countered.

CAIR found the killer of this Muslima, in the mirror.

Update by SH: No shocka: Allegedly, Kassim Alhimidi was a US Army Islamic Cultural Adviser

Alzaidy said her father and Alawadi’s husband had previously worked together in San Diego as private contractors for the U.S. Army, serving as cultural advisers to train soldiers who were going to be deployed to the Middle East.
CAIR approved, no doubt.

Rahim Alfetlawi, 47, was convicted Friday of first-degree premeditated murder by a Macomb County Circuit Court jury. He is scheduled to be sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole on November 15th.

Alfetlawi was charged in the death of his 20-year-old stepdaughter, Jessica Mokdad, at her grandmother’s home in Warren, MI, in April 2011[...]

Prosecutors have said the motive was rooted in the fact that Alfetlawi had been sexually abusing Mokdad and that she might go public with the assaults

The State Department: "What Palestinian Honor Killings"?!?!

I just about fell off my chair when I read this, especially since I just did a post on honor crimes.

Monday's Daily Press Briefing at the State Department started with Iran's "chest beating" comments about Israel. Natch, a "skinny dipping" question, to hell with talking about the Mad Mullahs

Let’s go to what’s on your minds.

QUESTION: I guess we could kind of stay on the Israel theme. I’m wondering if the – your travel advice, your Travel Warning, or your Consular Information Sheets for Israel have a section on skinny-dipping in the Sea of Galilee – (laughter) – and if not, whether you might be willing to add such a section for certain members of Congress.

MS. NULAND: I think I’m not going to wade into that one at all, Matt. (Laughter.) Thank you for the opportunity, however.

Back to the point of honor crimes, this is pathetic:
QUESTION: So what was the purpose of the meeting with the Quartet? I mean, did it have, like, an agenda? And what was hoped to arrive at, and did he arrive at it?

MS. NULAND: Well, as you know, he saw Prime Minister Netanyahu, he saw President Abbas, he saw many members of their governments, he saw the negotiators. So we always – at the end of those kinds of rounds of intensive dialogue, he generally meets with the Quartet to read them out, to compare notes on what they’ve got from their own meetings, so further coordination with the Quartet.

QUESTION: And finally – I know you guys issued a statement regarding the money on Friday; you responded to the question that was asked by Mr. Matt Lee the day before. I wanted to ask whether you also made conditional on the judicial process in the West Bank. Because as it seems, honor killing is on the rise, and there is a loophole in the law that basically allows the killers to go free. Do you ever make – like, reforming the law to tackle this issue that is becoming a real problem?

MS. NULAND: You mean linking money to this particular --

QUESTION: Yeah. I mean, you linked it to other aspects, to other good behaviors by the Palestinians, but do you ever link it to such things?

MS. NULAND: I don’t have anything particular on that. If we have something – I mean, in general, as you know, this money is designed to support strong institutions of the Palestinian Authority, democratic institutions increasing their services to the Palestinian people. So the degree to which we have issues there and the way governance is handled, we obviously are clear with the Palestinian Authority.

QUESTION: Is this an issue that the State Department would raise – the rise of honor killing?

MS. NULAND: Obviously, it sounds like the kind of issue we would generally raise in the context of our human rights discussion, yeah.

Please, Jill.

MS. NULAND: Yeah. The scarf is the color of your eyes, my dear.

,b>QUESTION: Oh, thank you. They’re – actually, they’re red, but –

MS. NULAND: (Laughter.) We won’t ask about your Eid al-Fitr celebrations.

The broom just swept Palis honor crimes under the rug.

This is the real "War on Women" this administration is afraid to called out for fear of being called Islamophobic.

Forms Of "Honour" Based Violence And Oppression

This is what Obama's favorite activist, Sandra Fluke, should turn her attention to instead of you conservative bitches, pay for my birth control!

While killing in the name of ‘honour’ is the most discussed aspect of the phenomenon, this is only one aspect of a nexus of control over women’s lives. Women in ‘honour’ cultures may be subjected to constant surveillance, without which it is assumed they may transgress the honour code and bring the family into disrepute. This may imply that women from these cultures have little privacy at home, and few opportunities to socialise outside their kinship network. The family may try to restrict women’s movements to ensure they do not develop relationships outside the family or community grouping, meaning a reduction on women’s freedom of movement and association. Such an ethic of control may reduce women’s opportunities to take part in the social world, form relationships of their choosing, and to seek help in the event of violence or coercion. Women (and men) are expected to conform to the wishes of their elders who are presumed to be acting in for the greater good of the family as a whole; those who insist upon their autonomy are considered selfish and disruptive to the family, and its honour.

Where a perceived slight to the family ‘honour’ has occurred, responses vary, according to the family’s preferences and the public nature of the ‘dishonouring’ behaviour.

Justice: Shafilea Ahmed's Parents Guilty

Justice for Shafilea Ahmed:

A couple who killed their 'westernised' teenage daughter because they believed she had brought shame on the family were convicted of her murder today - nine years after the brutal killing.

Iftikhar Ahmed, 52, and his wife Farzana, 49, of Liverpool Road, Warrington, Cheshire, suffocated Shafilea, 17, with a plastic bag in 2003 in an apparent 'honour killing'.

They were jailed for at least 25 years each.

PC Killed Shafilea Ahmed?

So, the victim of an honor killing -- Shafilea Ahmed -- begged the local government to give her a place to stay because her mom and dad were teaming up on her to teach her a lesson on what it means to be a good Pakistani girl. The article uses her pleas as evidence that her parents had a track record of beating her.

But it seems to miss the point, doesn't it? Isn't the real story hear that the town council either said no or drug its feet in helping this girl out? If she was in need of emergency housing, shouldn't she have gotten it, you know, quick like?

So, why didn't they give it to her? My immediate reaction for government do-gooder types is to question whether or not they ever heard of anything like honor killings back in 2002? That they had only heard positive things through government endorsed brain washing diversity training about people from other countries and cultures and how wonderful their lives were before the imperialist white man ruined it all so they just couldn't believe her story.

The other question I have is whether or not they have battered women's shelters in the UK and if emergency housing wasn't available right away shouldn't she have been directed to a local shelter? Women's shelters are ubiquitous here in the US, which is why you can find one even in the bass ackward one light town I live in.

India Daily News:

Shafilea Ahmed was desperately trying to find emergency housing away from her parents just days before being flown to Pakistan, a court heard yesterday.

In her application to Warrington Borough Council the 17-year-old said she wanted to leave home because she was being “forced” into an arranged marriage.

Shafilea, whom the prosecution alleges is the victim of a so-called honour killing, went on to claim she had been the victim of “regular incidents of violence” from the age of 15 or 16.

“One parent would hold me while the other would hit me,” she wrote

Iftikhar and Farzana Ahmed Deny Murdering Their Daughter

The hole in their plan was they forgot to murder an eyewitness, their other daughter Alesha.

The sister of a Cheshire schoolgirl who went missing in 2003 saw their parents kill her, a court has heard.

Iftikhar Ahmed, 52 and Farzana Ahmed, 49, of Warrington, deny the murder of 17-year-old Shafilea, whose remains were found in Cumbria in February 2004.

At the start of their trial at Chester Crown Court, the jury heard Alesha Ahmed witnessed the killing.

Possible Motive in Shaima Alawadi Murder

I read this on Huffington Post yesterday. Shaima Alawadi's daughter Fatima was involved in an incident where she jumped out of her mom's car after being caught with a boy. Its also known that Fatima wanted to marry this boy who turns out to be an Iraqi Chaldean Christian against the wishes of her family who had arranged for her to marry someone else.

The person who witnessed the incident and called police also wrote an online posting about it on a website before Shaima Alawadi was murdered.

Huffpo: When college student Enrique Cervantes wrote an essay about seeing two people having sex in a car in front of his house, he never expected that it might shed light on a murder investigation.

However, that story -- submitted as part of an oral history of El Cajon, a city just east of San Diego -- may help explain the murder of Iraqi refugee Shaima Alawadi, and offer a possible motive for her family members.

A few months after the vehicle incident and two months prior to Alawadi's death, Cervantes wrote about seeing Alhimidi in the car for, a San Diego-based nonprofit that is currently collecting "a people's history of East San Diego County."

Cervantes said he saw two people having sex in front of his house in the middle of the day and called the police.

Before police arrived, Cervantes went to the car to warn them and saw a teenage girl in a hijab with a man who looked to be in his early 20s. His piece describes the encounter:

The guy saw me coming and adjusted his pants. The girl pulled a blanket over her legs and smiled, her cheeks blossoming into red. What the f***, I almost said out loud. She was wearing one of those things on her head that Muslims wear. It was light purple; it looked nice on her skin. Her skin was brown as mine. It looked nice with that shade of purple, like an Egyptian princess.
This sheds a whole new light on possible motive and highlights the folly of allowing Shaima's husband to leave the country for Iraq. Kassim Alhimidi took his son and his daughter Fatima with him to Iraq. He told CAIR he would return within two weeks of his wife's funeral. Its already been more than two weeks and no Kassim.

I for one doubt he will return of his own free will and its likely that his story will play sympathetically to the Iraqis should he be indicted. Getting extradition will be a challenge.

Also Fatima Alawadi is in danger. ts likely that Kassim will stand to benefit financially from the arranged marriage of 17 year old Fatima, who is quickly approaching the age of consent, wants to marry the Chaldean Christian, Yacub.

Besides forced marriage against her will its also possible that Fatima's virginity or lack thereof could become an issue. We already know there may have already been one honor killing in the family, no?

The previous story of a hate crime against Muslims because of a note at the crime scene that was parroted by CAIR and many media outlets gave cover for Hassim to leave the country.

Where is CAIR and all those media outlets now? They are suddenly silent.

Turkey Has Become World's Leading Hotspot Of Honor Killings

turky_honor killings.jpg

Such a nice woman/gay/lesbian, it would be a shame if you shame us~Turkey

So Gov Perry was on to something
…after the Islamists came to power in 2002 and opened the gates of gradual Islamization of Turkey, after 8 decades of strict secular rule, Turkey has risen to be the world’s “number one honor killing country“, with a killing rate 5 times higher than that of Pakistan, known to be notorious for honor killing[...]

In Pakistan, notorious for honor killing, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan recorded 943 cases of such killings in 2011, and about 100 less in 2010. That means Turkey had about double the number of honor killings in 2009 as compared the number honor-killed in Pakistan in 2011. Given Pakistan has a population of 177 million as compared to Turkey’s 75 million, Turkey has an honor-killing rate, which is greater than 5 times higher than that of Pakistan. So, undoubtedly, Turkey is the number one country in the world in terms of total number of honor killings happening every year, and its honor-killing rate is also nearly at the top amongst all countries in the world[More..]

I just wonder if the left-wing bloggers and the media, who refused to give Zimmerman the benefit of doubt despite evidence that supported his accounting of events yet so gullibly accepted the note in Shaima Alawadi's murder as absolute proof it was a hate crime, will admit to their mistake.

Records Hint Iraqi Woman's Death Not A Hate Crime:

Search warrant records obtained Wednesday in the beating death of an Iraqi-American woman show a family in turmoil and cast doubt on the likelihood that her slaying was a hate crime.

Shaima Alawadi, a 32-year-old mother of five, was apparently planning to divorce her husband and move to Texas when she was killed, a family member told investigators, according to the court documents.

The records, filed in El Cajon Superior Court, also reveal Alawadi’s 17-year-old daughter, Fatima Alhimidi, who called 911 to report the attack, was distraught over her pending arranged marriage to a cousin.

One step forward - UT SanDiego casts doubt it was a hate crime.

Two steps back - UT San Diego refuses to to call it a possible "honor killing."

More questions that bear asking - Why did authorities in California allow the family to leave the country? Were the investigators initially fooled into believing it was, in fact, a hate crime, or was it just too politically incorrect to prevent Muslim murder suspects to leave the country? Did authorities fear backlash from the Muslim community if the family was not allowed to leave?

Thanks to SH and B'emet Or, who both sent me the link.

Iran Set to Execute Christian for Apostacy

We are hearing reports from our contacts in Iran that the execution orders for Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani may have been issued.

Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani and his Family.jpg

Pastor Youcef’s situation – an innocent man convicted and sentenced to death for becoming a Christian – has not been this dire since we first brought his case to your attention last year.

It is unclear whether Pastor Youcef would have a right of appeal from the execution order. We know that the head of Iran’s Judiciary, Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani, must approve publicly held executions, but only a small percentage of executions are held public—most executions in Iran are conducted in secret.

There has also been a disturbing increase in the number of executions conducted by the Iranian regime in the last month.

Iran is actively violating its human rights obligations by sentencing and detaining Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. We call on the Iranian government to release Pastor Youcef immediately.

We are continuing to work to help spare the life of Pastor Youcef, and will provide additional updates on his situation as we are able.

Please continue to pray, share his story, and call for his release.

Our prayers go with Pastor Youcef and his family.

Muslim Murders Christian Girl in Pakistan

For refusing the allow him to rape her.

Another Christian in Pakistan has been murdered, and the local Catholic Church is calling her a “martyr of the faith.”

The 18-year-old Amariah Masih (also reported as Mariah Manisha), a Catholic girl from the village of Tehsil Samundari, near Faisalabad, in Punjab province, was shot dead on November 27, after putting up resistance when a Muslim man abducted her with the intent to rape her. Fr. Khalid Rashid Asi, General Vicar of the Catholic diocese of Faisalabad told Fides, the Catholic news agency, that “cases like these occur daily in Punjab. It is very sad; Christians, often girls, are helpless victims.”

The girl’s mother, Razia Bibi, 50, told the Catholic media outlet AsiaNews that she and her daughter were riding on a motorbike on their way to pick up drinking water, which is not available in their village, when a man seized the motorbike, grabbed the young woman, and tried to drag her away at gunpoint. As she tried to pull away, the man opened fire, killing her instantly. According to AsiaNews, the 28-year-old Muslim Arif Gujjar, the son of a wealthy local landowner, is in police custody for questioning for the murder of Amariah.

Amariah’s funeral was presided over by Fr. Zafal Iqbal, who said to Fides: “She is a martyr. . . . The girl resisted, she did not want to convert to Islam and she did not marry the man, who killed her for this.” He explained to AsiaNews: “Wealthy and influential landowners often take aim at those who are marginalized and vulnerable, for their dirty interests.” In Pakistan, a rape victim is often imprisoned for unlawful sex and released on the condition that she marry her rapist. Because, under sharia, a Muslim cannot be married to a Christian, the women in such cases are also forced to convert to Islam. In its sharia courts, the testimony of a Christian is worth less than that of a Muslim, and a Christian woman’s is worth less yet. The whole system is rigged against the Christian woman.

More information on Amariah can be found on the website of the Permanent Mission of the Holy.

Meanwhile, Ruqqiya Bibi, a Christian woman, was sentenced in Pakistan in late October to a 25-year prison term for blasphemy on accusations that she defiled a Koran after handling it with unclean hands. Mrs. Bibi is not to be confused with Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five who was convicted of blasphemy following a dispute with other Muslim women with whom she had been working as a field hand, and who remains imprisoned after being sentenced to death a year ago.

Pakistan’s minister of minority affairs, Shahbaz Bhatti, also a Catholic, was murdered earlier this year, as was Punjab governor Salman Taseer, a Muslim, for calling for the repeal of the nation’s blasphemy law. Pakistan’s harsh blasphemy law is notoriously vague and ever expanding to include new applications.

Our friends the Pakistanis.

There is a special place in heaven for Amariah Masih, and a special place in hell for Arif Gujjar.

Honor Killing Trial Opens in Canada

Mohammad Shafia, an Afghan immigrant, is accused of murdering his first wife Rona Mohammad and his three daughters Daughters Zanaib, 19, Sahar, 17, & Geeti, 13 because the lot had assimilated into Western society. Absolutely horrible:

“They committed treason on themselves. They betrayed humankind. They betrayed Islam. They betrayed our religion…they betrayed everything,” Shafia told Tooba, the murdered children’s mother....

“I say to myself, ‘You did well.’ Were they come to life, I would do it again,” the wiretap recorded him saying.

Honor killings are not unique among Muslim countries. What is unique is the notion a religion can be "betrayed" because the religious community is also a political community.

Not all Muslims believe this, of course, but it is still an orthodox and mainstream point of view.

Thanks to Jamie.

Detective: "Your Daughter Is Close to Dying." Mother: "That's What She Needs."

Disturbing Details Emerge in 'Honor Killing' Case:

A few days ago, police recordings from the alleged Arizona honor killing were released to the media. The dialogue many mainstream media outlets reported was as follows (all emphasis mine):

'Until he [Noor’s father] is located, we are not mentioning where she is at,' replied [Detective] Laing, who told the mother that witnesses in the parking lot identified her husband as the driver.

'This woman, she is lying, because she is dirty,' Seham says, referring to Khalaf, who survived being hit by Al-Maleki’s jeep.

'You are a sick person,' Laing snapped.

I was a bit confused by the detective's response. Yes, the mother's insult of the witness was very inappropriate, but I didn't see how it would provoke such a response from an investigator.

However, FoxNews, via Jihad Watch, has shed some new light on the conversation. A portion of the dialogue had been edited. Below is the rest of the dialogue that invoked the response from the detective. (again, emphasis mine):

"Who said my husband..maybe it's not my husband..this woman, she's a liar because she's dirty," she said.

Detective Bill Laing then asked her, "..if it's not your husband, then where is he?"

Sayim replied, "I don't know."

Laing said, "Your daughter is about close to dying...she's in critical condition."

Sayim said, "Oh..okay..tell her thank ou [sic] Amal..thank you, that's what she needs."

"You are a sick individual," said Laing.

Yes, indeed. Very sick.

UK Islamotards: The Islamic Emirates of Britain Project

the islamic emirates project_muslims against crusades.jpg
Muslims Against Crusades aka Islam4UK aka Shariah4UK aka....

I previously posted on this: UK Islamotards: Stickers4Shariah

A Muslim group in the United Kingdom has launched a campaign to turn twelve British cities – including what it calls "Londonistan" – into independent Islamic states. The so-called Islamic Emirates would function as autonomous enclaves ruled by Islamic Sharia law and operate entirely outside British jurisprudence.

The Islamic Emirates Project, launched by the Muslims Against the Crusades group, names the British cities of Birmingham, Bradford, Derby, Dewsbury, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Sheffield, as well as Waltham Forest in northeast London and Tower Hamlets in East London as territories to be targeted for blanket Sharia rule.

Jamaal Uddin

The project, which uses the motto "The end of man-made law, and the start of Sharia law," was launched exactly six years after Muslim suicide bombers killed 52 people and injured 800 others in London.
Radical preacher Anjem Choudary

A July 7, 2011 announcement posted on the Muslims Against the Crusades website, states:

"In the last 50 years, the United Kingdom has transformed beyond recognition. What was once a predominantly Christian country has now been overwhelmed by a rising Muslim population, which seeks to preserve its Islamic identity, and protect itself from the satanic values of the tyrannical British government.

The last paragraph in the article shows how ludicrous the "project" is:
Meanwhile, Britain is struggling to combat a cycle of Islamic honor-related kidnappings, sexual assaults, beatings and murder that is spiralling out of control.

According to the London-based Association of Chief Police Officers, up to 17,000 women in Britain are victims of honor-based violence – forced marriages, honor killings, kidnappings, sexual assaults, beatings, female genital mutilation and other forms of abuse – every year. This figure is 35 times higher than official figures suggest, and British detectives say it is "merely the tip of the iceberg" of this phenomenon.

Muslim girl, 19, 'stoned to death after taking part in beauty contest'

A teenage Muslim girl was stoned to death under 'Sharia law' after taking part in a beauty contest in Ukraine.

Katya Koren, 19, was found dead in a village in the Crimea region near her home.[More]

Three Muslim youths were arrested in connection to the honor killing and one stated: "he had no regrets about her death because she had violated the laws of Islam".

Sometimes I wonder if the Sharia Law bs is an excuse for a male being rejected by a female. Did Miss Koren reject one of these areholes? Something to think about...

"Honor" Killing Cover-Up In Florida?

I found this article after reading about the incident at Jihad Watch.

From (all emphasis mine):

Abdallah's brother, Ali Alkahla, had told police he was in Fort Myers when he got a call from his mother about 6:30 p.m. the night his sister died.

His mother told him his sister had been hitting her head on a table. Half an hour later, he said his mother called and said his sister was on the floor and wouldn't answer her.

Alkahla told police that he told his mother to call 911, but she said she didn't know how. He said he didn't call 911 at first because he didn't realize his sister was not breathing until he got home two hours later.

She didn't know how to dial 9-1-1, yet she could call her son on his phone - TWICE? And how convenient for the brother, having such an airtight alibi. I'm sure the police checked cell tower records and confirmed he was, in fact, in or near Fort Myers when his phone-illiterate mother called.

When the authorities were finally contacted hours later, the police were given two different versions of what happened:

Abdallah's mother, Nafish Kahla, told police through a son who interpreted for her that she and her daughter had argued about cooking and that Abdallah had tried to leave. She grabbed for her daughter's arm, and Abdallah pulled away and slammed her head on the coffee table.

She then got up, noticed that her face was bloody and struck her face against the table several more times, then smashed her face onto the carpeted floor.[...]

When police were first called at 9:05 p.m., someone told dispatchers that Abdallah had been found unconscious and unresponsive in the house. Whoever called 911 told dispatchers that she had been cleaning and might have passed out after breathing in fumes.

There is something definitely fishy about this story. The family statements alone should warrant an investigation, regardless of the unwavering stance of the Medical Examiner.

I could see the same dhimmi attitude if this woman had been stabbed to death. "She backed into a knife and then, in a fit of seizures, backed into it several more times.'" Case closed.

ROPMA: Burning Desperation

Afghan women have no life under ROPMA

HERAT, Afghanistan — Even the poorest families in Afghanistan have matches and cooking fuel. The combination usually sustains life. But it also can be the makings of a horrifying escape: from poverty, from forced marriages, from the abuse and despondency that can be the fate of Afghan women.

The night before she burned herself, Gul Zada took her children to her sister’s for a family party. All seemed well. Later it emerged that she had not brought a present, and a relative had chided her for it, said her son Juma Gul.

This small thing apparently broke her. Ms. Zada, who was 45, the mother of six children and who earned pitiably little cleaning houses, ended up with burns on nearly 60 percent of her body at the Herat burn hospital. Survival is difficult even at 40 percent[...]

Violence in the lives of Afghanistan’s women comes from everywhere: from her father or brother, from her husband, from her father-in-law, from her mother-in-law and sister-in-law,” said Dr. Shafiqa Eanin, a plastic surgeon at the burn hospital, which usually has at least 10 female self-immolation cases at any one time.

The most sinister burn cases are actually homicides masquerading as suicides, said doctors, nurses and human rights workers.

“We have two women here right now who were burned by their mothers-in-law and husbands,” said Dr. Arif Jalali, the hospital’s senior surgeon.

Doctors cited two recent cases where women were beaten by their husbands or in-laws, lost consciousness and awoke in the hospital to find themselves burned because they had been shoved in an oven or set on fire.[Emphasis mine..ed]

For a very few of the women who survive burnings, whether self-inflicted or done by relatives, the experience is a kind of Rubicon that helps them change their lives. Some work with lawyers who are recommended by the hospital and request a divorce. Most do not

Canada: 13yr old Muslim Girl Beaten To Death By 71yr old Father

Why in the world would Moussa Sidime murder his daughter?

Robert answers that very question:

Some of the girl's neighbours told reporters that there was conflict in the family because Noutene didn't always want to pray with her family, who are Muslim. But several close friends yesterday disputed those statements.
As Robert notes:
Qur'an 4:34: Allah himself establishes that a man can beat the women under his control if he fears disobedience from them. These are the consequences.
RIP dear child, RIP.

Butt Kicking....The Bad Islamic Version

I said kicking, you sickos.

Free Thinker

A WOMAN of Pakistani origins has been killed, and her daughter gravely injured in Italy following a family row over an arranged marriage earlier this month.

The daughter, 20-year-old Nosheen Butt, was hospitalised with head injuries and a broken arm after her 19-year-old brother beat her with a stick in the courtyard of their building in Novi, near the northern city of Modena.

According to Modena prosecutors’ initial findings, the father Ahmad Khan Butt, a 53-year-old construction worker, threw his wife to the ground and beat her with a brick while the brother Umair attacked his sister. The father had been in Italy less that 10 years and was the owner of the local mosque.

What's Driving Christians Out Of The Middle East?

According to most quoted in this article: Israel WTF? It's the jihad, stupid.

(Oct. 13) -- Christians are fleeing the birthplace of Christianity in the Middle East, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict may be to blame, according to regional bishops summoned to the Vatican this week to reverse the troubling trend.

Melkite Patriarch Gregory III of Damascus, Syria, said at the gathering that Christian emigration is "among the most dangerous effects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

He predicted that the Christian exodus will turn Arab society into "a society with only one color, a society uniquely Muslim," the Catholic News Service reported.

Besides the article dripping with antisemitism, this Rabbi hits the nail on the head [Emphasis mine]:
But author and TV host Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, who calls himself "America's rabbi," said he was incredulous at the sentiments expressed at the synod.

"Blaming Israel for Christians leaving is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard," Boteach told AOL News. "Israel is responsible for all the freedoms in the Middle East. Israel loves Christian visitors.

"Imagine if all the Jews gave up and left Israel tomorrow and decided to all go live in Malibu," Boteach added. "Would homosexuals in the Middle East still be killed? Would there still be honor killings of a sister by her brother? Would Christian churches suddenly open in Saudi Arabia? Would the Taliban suddenly have multistate meetings? The blame for Christians leaving lies in the totalitarian regimes that trample on religious rights and are discriminatory and xenophobic."

Well said Rabbi Boteach, well said.

At Least It Wasn't An "Honor Killing"

Killed for dishonoring her family, but it isn't an "honor killing"...

From The Guardian:

Assia Shahzad, 40, was found with fatal injuries at the family home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Her son, Usman Shahzad, 21, was arrested at the scene along with a 16-year-old.

Neighbours told reporters that Assia Shahzad's husband, Rashad, 45, moved out of the house earlier this year after claims she had been seeing other men.

Police dismissed suggestions that her death was an "honour killing" but said it related to a "domestic dispute".

The article neglects to mention the religion of the victim or perpetrator. This would be something to take into consideration to determine if, in fact, it was an "honor killing."

It seems other U.K. media outlets aren't mentioning the religious background either. However, a foreign news source does mention it.

The Shahzads are (surprise!) Muslim.

Rifqa Bary gets her green card, and Rifqa's attorney and Pamela Geller get sued by CAIR attorney Omar Tarazi

We were asked to sit on this good news for the past few weeks, but it is now being picked up by the media - Muslim apostate Rifqa Bary has received her green card.

As Jawa readers are aware, since Rifqa's saga began more than a year ago, the two primary goals were to keep her out of her abusive home, and to help her secure permanent resident status to prevent her from being sent back to her native Sri Lanka, where she has already received death threats for converting to Christianity. Her attorneys have now accomplished both. They should be congratulated.

But as the late Billy Mays would say, but that's not all...

Today, the Bary family's CAIR attorney, Omar Tarazi, filed a federal lawsuit against Rifqa's attorney John Stemberger and Atlas Shrugs blogger Pamela Geller. Tarazi suing for $10 million claiming defamation and emotional distress.

Tarazi's lawsuit filing is below the fold.

1 Of Ten Million Reasons Why Rifqa Bary's Case Is Important

UK: 19 year old Muslim woman punched, kicked & assaulted with a broomstick by her parents

Parents of a Muslim girl have been charged with beating and imprisoning their daughter after they discovered she had been in an alleged secret relationship with a man she met on Facebook[...]

The young woman is understood to have at one stage left her family home to stay with her boyfriend in London, although she later returned to live with her parents....

Remember Texas teenagers who returned to their fathers home only to be murdered for dishonoring him?

When in doubt: Read: Qur'an 4:34.

Nuff said.

BTW: I am sure our troll commenter Ohioan & sockpuppet will spin this.
