As a Professor of Political Science, I Give Sen. Walsh an Automatic "F" for the Course

If you are one of my students and you plagiarize, I give you an automatic F. That's not an F for the paper, it's an automatic F for the entire course.

Since the reason you plagiarized was that you didn't do the work, then you would have gotten an F for the paper in the first place. Therefore, the punishment for stealing someone else's intellectual property and passing it off as your own has to be more severe than the consequences of not writing the paper in the first place. So, an automatic F.

And the fact that this was when Democratic Senator John Walsh of Montana was in a Master's degree program? That's worse. Much, much worse. You expect more from a graduate student. Not from a Democrat in Congress, no, but from a graduate student, yes.

The War College ought to rescind his degree.

Proof there is a God: The Donut Burger!

Three reasons why America is the greatest country on the planet:

"As I've said before, I'm troubled with certain aspects of the Affordable Care Act, but we're here at the state fair and if there's three reasons why Kentuckians, especially our seniors, need access to affordable health care coverage. You just have to look over to the right where you see the donut burger, the chili cheese-steak and the covered french fries that are here."
Oddly, the Democratic candidate seems to be saying these are bad things.

I did a Google search just to make sure she wasn't making it up. Nope, it's a thing.

Student in Organizing For America Voter Drive Behind Racist Anti-Semitic Incidents

I'm not really sure what a atheist/pacifist/environmentalist/libertarian socialist/consequentialist is but its pretty f*cked up:

One of the two students removed from Oberlin College earlier this year for allegedly circulating virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus is an ardent leftist and committed supporter of President Obama, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

Dylan Bleier, one of the two students, hosted a voter registration drive in a Walmart parking lot sponsored by Organizing for Action, the community organizing project that advances the agenda of President Obama.

The Oberlin Police Department identified Bleier and his partner in the spree, Matt Alden, as two of the principal architects of a month-long spate of racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages at the small, private campus.

On his now-defunct LinkedIn page, Bleier noted that he was the founder and president of the Ithaca High School for Obama club. He also identified himself as a member of the Oberlin College Democrats.

Eric, Nation of Cowards, Holder's Huddle With Media On Press Freedom Will Be...
Off The Record..

Yeah, that's the ticket:

Gut-check time for the press: If they’re truly offended by the DOJ’s secret snooping on James Rosen and the AP, they won’t agree to attend Holder’s gladhanding session unless/until he agrees to make it on the record, right? Press freedom and government transparency are either important or they’re not. If they’re not, then yeah, an off-the-record session in which the powers that be privately assure a guild that they’re on their side will do just fine. Happens all the time in the Obama White House.
The news of a meeting between Holder and the bureau chiefs comes amid widespread criticism from journalists and civil liberties advocates over the DOJ’s seizure of Associated Press phone records and an accusation that Fox News reporter James Rosen could be part of a criminal conspiracy for his reporting.[More...]

Harry is as pure as the driven snow and had no idea this happened

RENO, Nev. - A former Nevada powerbroker was convicted on Wednesday of making illegal campaign contributions to U.S. Sen. Harry Reid.

A federal jury reached the verdict in the case against real estate developer and once powerful lobbyist Harvey Whittemore.

The jury returned unanimous guilty verdicts on charges of making excessive campaign contributions, making contributions in the name of another, and causing a false statement to be made to the Federal Election Commission.

Whittemore faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each count.[...]

Reid has not been accused of any wrongdoing and did not testify during the trial. He has said he was unaware of any potential problems with the money he received..

IRS Official's Lawyer: Lois Lerner Will Plead The Fifth Before The House Oversight Committee Hearing

irshearing_lerner.jpg

She didn't target TEA Party groups, nor did anyone tell her too... honest!

[ZIP]WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups.

Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd.

Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday

Her lawyer wants her excused from the hearing so as not to embarrass and burden her
[LA Times]Taylor, a criminal defense attorney from the Washington firm of Zuckerman Spaeder, said that the Department of Justice has launched a criminal investigation, and that the House committee has asked Lerner to explain why she provided “false or misleading information” to the committee four times last year.

Since Lerner won’t answer questions, Taylor asked that she be excused from appearing, saying that would “have no purpose other than to embarrass or burden her.” There was no immediate word whether the committee will grant her request.

Boo frickin hoo, make her plead the Fifth for all to see.

Watch the dems try to turn this into a 'war on women' thingy like they did with Susan Rice's Benghazi clusterfruck on the Sunday talk shows.

As far as the DOJ conducting an investigation, yeah just like how well they did with the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation case and Fast and Furious gun running.

Anonymous U.S. Officials: FBI ID's Benghazi Suspects But No Arrests & Stuff

This is not the flag you are looking for: A video is what you seek

Thanks Bronco!

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. officials say they have identified five men they believe might be behind the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year. The officials say they have enough evidence to justify seizing them by military force as suspected terroristsbut not enough proof to try them in a U.S. civilian court as the Obama administration prefers.

So the officials say the men remain at large while the FBI gathers more evidence

AP better be careful as this appears to be another 'intel leak'. The underlined bold above isn't gonna go over too well with the Bronco administration.

Michael Clemente, Fox News' Executive VP Of News:
"We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter"...

James Rosen deserved it, per liberal assmaggots, just like they have said about the IRS targeting conservative groups.

Via FNC:

The Justice Department obtained a portfolio of information about a Fox News correspondent's conversations and visits as part of an investigation into a possible leak, The Washington Post reported Monday -- in the latest example of the government seizing records of journalists.

This follows the charge that the department secretly obtained two months of phone records from Associated Press journalists as part of a separate leak probe. The department in this case, though, went a step further, as an FBI agent reportedly claimed there's evidence the journalist in question -- Fox News' James Rosen -- broke the law "at the very least, either as an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator."

That detail would potentially send the case into unprecedented territory. No reporter has been prosecuted for seeking information. Such cases often target the suspected leaker, but not the journalist who published sensitive or classified information.

Michael Clemente, Fox News' executive vice president of news, defended Rosen in a statement issued Monday afternoon.

"We are outraged to learn today that James Rosen was named a criminal co-conspirator for simply doing his job as a reporter,"

Hagel: Gee, I Guess We Won't Deactivate NYC's ONLY Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team Now

"Make the sequester hurt" hit's a hurdle after terrorism in Boston

Ya think?

The only U.S. military team assigned to New York City to support first responders in case of a disaster will remain on duty. It was just saved on the brink of elimination.

fthamilton.jpgA day after the bombings at the Boston Marathon, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel rescinded his decision to disband the rapid-response unit based at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn.

His abrupt change of mind was a relief to New Yorkers amid the sudden new concerns about terrorism. During testimony on Capitol Hill, Mr. Hagel announced that the Pentagon won't deactivate the 24th National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team (WMD-CST)[...]

WMD-CSTs are trained to provide rapid military support to civil authorities in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear threat.

Mr. Hagel acknowledged that his reversal on funding the pair of units in New York and Florida means they will not become the victims of federal cost-cutting[...]

"The 24th National Guard WMD-CST team has done exceptional job, not just in New York, but also in Boston, where they were on the ground responding to the horrific attack on the marathon," Mr. Grimm said. "This week's events have reminded us that we must remain vigilant, and this elite team assists that effort." [More..]

Judge in Chicago Officially Insane

Well, we all knew they were insane, now we have proof:

A Democratic Party-backed judge who won re-election in November while facing battery charges was found not guilty Monday — by reason of insanity.

The insanity verdict could aid the judge's effort to return to the bench.

The worst part? After being indicted she won reelection:
Bar associations have recommended since 2000 that Brim be tossed from her $182,000-a-year job, but voters have kept returning her to the bench.

Democrats Eating Their Own Over Cronyism

Newark:

A behind-the-scenes political maneuver by Newark Mayor Cory Booker to fill a vacant council seat with his choice led to a near-riot in city hall tonight, with dozens of residents rushing the council stage and police responding with pepper-spray.

After weeks of jockeying for Rep. Donald Payne’s successor, Booker made an unprecedented personal appearance to cast the deciding vote with his council allies for Shanique Davis Speight, a longtime ally of power broker Stephen Adubato, over the angry objections of residents.

This is where the real fun begins.
After the vote, residents stood chanting "Cory’s gotta go!" as officials shouted over the confusion.

But when Speight was escorted by police to be sworn in, a group of residents, led by SEIU Local 617 President Rahaman Muhammad, stormed the dais and appeared to lunge toward Speight and her grade-school-age son.

Police restrained the group as they toppled a podium and residents were caught in the rush. When Muhammad would not give way, an officer doused him with pepper spray, along with residents, reporters and at least one other officer.

Sweet!

AUDIO: David Axelrod in 1995: Cut Funding to Big Bird; NRA Responsible for OKC

PJ Media Exclusive:

Just this morning, PJ Media received the audio from a 1995 David Axelrod appearance on Beyond the Beltway, a Chicago-based talk show hosted by Bruce DuMont.

Axelrod's appearances are listed here in the show's archives. I requested all of the tapes, and received them a short time ago. Here are the relevant clips:

From 5/21/1995, regarding the 1995 Oklahoma City terrorist bombing which murdered 168 people — the worst act of terror on American soil prior to September 11, 2001. Axelrod blames "rhetoric" from the NRA for contributing to the bombing and the barricading of Pennsylvania Avenue. Also from the 5/21/1995 appearance — Axelrod blames Republican presidents for running up the deficit, claiming that the president is primarily responsible for overspending. Also, he claims that the Democratic Congress — Democrats were in control of the House for 40 years prior to 1995 — tried to stop the Republican overspending. Also from the 5/21/1995 appearance — Axelrod thinks it is a good idea to cut federal funding of PBS. Last month, Axelrod led a campaign against Mitt Romney's assertion that this funding should be cut

Another Reason To Vote For Romney: Pelosi Headlined DCCC Fundraiser With Muslim Brotherhood Front Groups

www.investigativeproject.org screen capture 2012-11-5-18-55-45_pelosi_cair.jpg

Via IPT:

The Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi headlined a Democratic Party fundraiser with leaders of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood front groups in May of this year.

The invitation-only fundraiser was sponsored by Reps. Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Andre Carson, D-Ind.; and Steve Israel, D-N.Y., chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and took place on the evening of May 16, 2012, at the W Hotel in Washington D.C.

In attendance were about 20 members of a Syrian dissident group and 10 officials representing Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas front groups. Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad was perhaps the most prominent attendee and played a key role in organizing the event.

CAIR, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007-2008 Holy Land Foundation Hamas money-laundering trials, was described in FBI testimony as having been created by Hamas. In a 2007 federal court filing, prosecutors described CAIR as conspiring with other branches of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.

The FBI officially severed relations with CAIR in 2008 because of its ties to Hamas.

Awad has openly championed Hamas and defended suicide bombings as "legitimate resistance."

Democratic Congressman's Son Encourages Voter Fraud
Update: Rep Moran's 'Field Director' Son Resigns

I was just saying earlier this morning that I witnessed what I think was attempted voter fraud. I also noted that the attempt failed because early voters in my state have to show some sort of photo ID. But also that the attempt might have worked on election day because photo ID is not required.

This is worse. It shows the son of Democratic Congressman Jim Moran, Pat, not only encouraging voter fraud but promising DNC resources to help perpetuate it.

They say that they are against voter ID laws are there to protect voting rights. They're lying. They're against voter ID laws because it makes it harder for them to commit fraud.

What? UN Affiliated Election Monitors Will Be Looking For Voter Suppression By Conservative Groups..

As one person stated: Are they replacing the New Black Panthers?

United Nations-affiliated election monitors from Europe and central Asia will be at polling places around the U.S. looking for voter suppression activities by conservative groups, a concern raised by civil rights groups during a meeting this week. The intervention has drawn criticism from a prominent conservative-leaning group combating election fraud.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe ( OSCE), a United Nations partner on democratization and human rights projects, will deploy 44 observers around the county on Election Day to monitor an array of activities, including potential disputes at polling places.

Liberal-leaning civil rights groups met with representatives from the OSCE this week to raise their fears about what they say are systematic efforts to suppress minority voters likely to vote for President Obama.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the NAACP and the ACLU, among other groups, warned this month in a letter to Daan Everts, a senior official with OSCE, of “a coordinated political effort to disenfranchise millions of Americans — particularly traditionally disenfranchised groups like minorities.”

The request for foreign monitoring of election sites drew a strong rebuke from Catherine Engelbrecht, founder and president of True the Vote, a conservative-leaning group seeking to crack down on election fraud.

“These activist groups sought assistance not from American sources, but from the United Nations,” she said in a statement to The Hill. “The United Nations has no jurisdiction over American elections.”

h/t Tabitha

Previously, on October 7th, Rep Elijah Cummings and Senator Boxer targeted True the Vote

...Cummings is upset that Engelbrecht would train Americans to ensure poll veracity. So is California Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), who tweeted, “I don’t believe this is ‘True the Vote.’ I believe it’s ‘Stop the Vote.’” She asked the Department of Justice to “protect Americans from voter intimidation … No group can be allowed to intimidate or interfere with this fundamental right that is essential for American democracy.” In other words, don’t purge voter rolls of improper voters. Leave it full of dead folks, people registered to homes that don’t exist, and the like.[...]

Breitbart News spoke with Engelbrecht about Cummings’ and Boxer’s attempts intimidate poll volunteers. “Rep. Cummings has no power to independently issue a subpoena,” Engelbrecht said. “But that didn’t stop him from leaking his letter to the same Los Angeles Times reporter who wrote the original story slandering us. Then Rep. Cummings went on Soledad O’Brien’s show on CNN and, just as Sen. Boxer had done the previous week all over MSNBC, he used his power of office to assault private citizens. Leaders on the left, including Soros funded organizations like Common Cause and DEMOS, are working overtime to discourage citizens from volunteering this election cycle; fear mongering to perpetuate the myth that they are somehow being victimized. Why? They are either trying to rally their base, trying to hide something, or both.

The dems want conservatives to leaver their illegal, jailed, dead, dog, cat and Mickey Mouse voters alone!

Race Bating from Patrick Murphy Campaign

For some reason I'm on Allen West challenger Democrat Patrick Murphy's email list. Usually I just delete them and move on. But when I saw that the latest piece of email came from Congressman John Lewis, I decided to read it.

This is pure unadulterated race baiting. The email uses a prominent black politician to try to convince minority voters in Allen West's district that West -- who is also black -- doesn't want them to vote.

I'd say I was surprised, but this is par for the course for John Lewis who is likely to cry racism at the drop of a hat. But trying to pull that card against a fellow black member of Congress? That's pretty low.

Here's the email:

Friends,
This is deeply personal for me.

I’ve been marching and preaching and fighting for voting rights for over 50 years. Today, we’re seeing a deliberate and systematic effort on the part of Republican officials to prevent minorities, seniors, the young, and the poor from casting their ballots.

Republicans are intent on beating my friend Patrick Murphy, running for Congress against Tea Party leader Allen West in Florida's Treasure Coast, and we can’t let them steal this election. We must do everything we can to protect the vote.

Will you stand with Patrick and help today so we can make sure he wins this November?

Patrick believes like I do that voting is critical to our society and it matters. We must do everything we can to protect the vote. Too many courageous people have fought to secure the vote. Don’t let it be taken away. Stand up for Patrick and help us today with a gift. Please contribute now.

Thank you,

John Lewis
This is your modern Democratic party. They try to scare black people into voting for them, even when the victim of those scare tactics is another black man.

Obama Energy Policy Hurts Poor the Most

You've heard me say it before, now experts agree.

Last week, Examiner columnist and Manhattan Institute fellow Diana Furchtgott-Roth, author of the new book “Regulating to Disaster: How Green Jobs Policies Are Damaging America’s Economy,” explained that:
Most people think green is good but pay little attention to associated increases in costs. In 2015, it will cost between $49 and $79 to generate one megawatt hour of electricity from natural gas. A megawatt hour from onshore wind will cost between $75 and $138, and from solar photovoltaic will cost between $242 and $455.
As her book demonstrates in this chart, rising costs of energy hit lower income Americans the hardest, because they spend a higher proportion of their incomes on energy:
Not only that but the policies also hurt small producers more than the so called Majors.

Like to travel for Christmas, Thanksgiving, family reunion? Obama's policies make you less free to do so via your pocketbook.

Survey: It's Only a War Crime When Republicans Do It
Also, Nuke the Terrorists!

A new poll shows that people are more likely to support the practice of harsh interrogation techniques under a Democratic administration then under a Republican one:

the poll numbers suggest that Americans have become more hawkish on counterterrorism policy since Barack Obama became president.

Consider this: In an October 2007 Rasmussen poll, 27 percent of Americans surveyed said the United States should torture prisoners captured in the fight against terrorism, while 53 percent said it should not. In my YouGov poll, 41 percent said they would be willing to use torture -- a gain of 14 points -- while 34 percent would not, a decline of 19 points...

Respondents in 2012 are more pro-waterboarding, pro-threatening prisoners with dogs, pro-religious humiliation, and pro-forcing-prisoners-to-remain-naked-and-chained-in-uncomfortable-positions-in-cold-rooms....

Support for assassinating terrorists has also grown, though not as much as for torturing them. In part this is because assassinations have always been quite popular.

And my favorite part?
A quarter of all Americans are willing to use nuclear weapons to kill terrorists. No joke....

To be honest, I threw in the nuclear bomb question on a lark, not expecting to find much. Boy, was I wrong.

Count me in that 25%.

So, I now have precisely one good reason to vote Obama.

So if we "got rid of student loans" doesn't that mean these folks get no money. I'm not disinterested, The Xers paid ours back, no small feat. These kids need to man up and write off their 20s like the rest of us.

And Now Another Chapter Of Yes, They Really Are This Stupid

Or, in this case, hopeful?

“The ships are definitely Russian,” said noted naval author Norman Polmar after reviewing hi-resolution photos from the event. “There’s no question of that in my mind.”

Naval experts concluded the background was a photo composite of Russian ships that were overflown by what appear to be U.S. trainer jets. It remains unclear how or why the Democratic Party used what’s believed to be images of the Russian Black Sea Fleet at their convention.

Remains unclear? Oh no, it's clear. Conventions are not run by rank and file party members, they're run by the hard core party faithful. And this clearly demonstrates that the people in charge of the Democrat party have no clue when it comes to our military. Hell, I'd bet most of the people who planned this years DNC were there to spit on our military when they came back from Vietnam.

The Democrat National Convention of 2012. It's a gift that keeps on giving.

The truth is that the Democrats' draft platform was the result of a meticulous process handled by Newark mayor Cory Booker, and passed unanimously on August 11th.[The 11th was the day Romney announced Ryan as his VP pick...ed]

Booker insisted that the platform be perfected in all its details, asking the platform committee for "an all-encompassing resolution, ensuring that this is a grammatically tight document." No oversights were noted.

"There was almost no debate, and very little rancor," observed National Public Radio reporter Sonari Glinton, who covered the passage of the Democratic platform that weekend. He had to dig deep into history to find the last times that a party platform had caused significant controversy...[More...]

No surprise Axelrod and Jarrett promptly threw Booker under the bus:
