What Obama Really Thinks of You

Fire Andrea Mitchell

Megyn Kelly on the Kelly File revealed a second video of ObamaCARE architect Jonathan Gruber calling the American voters stupid. This video is from October of last year and could have also been used in the mid-term elections this, but for whatever reason wasn’t. Here is the second video of Jonathan Gruber calling the American voter stupid. If you want to skip ahead in this video of Megyn Kelly’s earlier discussion, right the Gruber’s remarks, go to 2 minutes and 22 seconds.

I saw Mr. Gruber's MSNBC interview and all I can say is, Filed under Assmaggots.

Update: Johnathan Gruber thinks that "exploiting the lack of economic understanding of the American voter" is very clever politics.

At least this time we aren't stupid American voters. After a first video of Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, talking about the bill being vague to fool stupid American Voters. And a second video outed last night by Megyn Kelly, below is video #3. This one from a speech at the University of Rhode Island in November 2012. This time he talks about then Senator, now Secretary of State John Kerry helping him take advantage of the economically unsophisticated American voter.

Which is why a Jury of American voters would probably send him to the gallows if they ever knew the truth. That the SUPPORTERS of Obamacare were intentionally misled, sold a bill of goods. That would neither help them nor anyone else.

Because the truth is that even though Mr. Gruber claims that if you get hit by a car you can go bankrupt, well no you can sue the driver. But even after Obamacare, even after you pay more, even after your subsidy, even after yout Obamacare plan pays you can still be bankrupt.

And the "evil insurance companies" still get theirs while you get the shaft.

So very clever.

As if filing bankruptcy and letting the provider claim the loss was a "worse" system.

Yes it was worse, because the healthcare system that sucked uop 18 percent of the economy will get just what they demanded from Obama to drop their opposition to Obamacare. Now they will get even more than 18% of the GDP and will get to keep more of that 18%. Obama sold you out to the healthcare industry and lied to YOU, telling you you would benefit when the only benefit was to the industry his wife Michelle worked in.

Anonymous U.S. Officials: FBI ID's Benghazi Suspects But No Arrests & Stuff

This is not the flag you are looking for: A video is what you seek

Thanks Bronco!

WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. officials say they have identified five men they believe might be behind the attack on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year. The officials say they have enough evidence to justify seizing them by military force as suspected terroristsbut not enough proof to try them in a U.S. civilian court as the Obama administration prefers.

So the officials say the men remain at large while the FBI gathers more evidence

AP better be careful as this appears to be another 'intel leak'. The underlined bold above isn't gonna go over too well with the Bronco administration.

We can't seize them as 'suspected terrorists'? Huh?

Nothing to see here people, move along. All of this is irrelevant.

"What difference at this point does it make"?~Hillary Rodham Clinton

"The future doesn't belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam"~Barack Ohama

"Benghazi happened a long time ago"~Jay Carney

I'm wondering what happened today at the classified briefing the Pentagon gave to the House Armed Services Committee.

Hagel: Gee, I Guess We Won't Deactivate NYC's ONLY Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team Now

"Make the sequester hurt" hit's a hurdle after terrorism in Boston

Ya think?

The only U.S. military team assigned to New York City to support first responders in case of a disaster will remain on duty. It was just saved on the brink of elimination.

fthamilton.jpgA day after the bombings at the Boston Marathon, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel rescinded his decision to disband the rapid-response unit based at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn.

His abrupt change of mind was a relief to New Yorkers amid the sudden new concerns about terrorism. During testimony on Capitol Hill, Mr. Hagel announced that the Pentagon won't deactivate the 24th National Guard Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Team (WMD-CST)[...]

WMD-CSTs are trained to provide rapid military support to civil authorities in the event of a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear threat.

Mr. Hagel acknowledged that his reversal on funding the pair of units in New York and Florida means they will not become the victims of federal cost-cutting[...]

"The 24th National Guard WMD-CST team has done exceptional job, not just in New York, but also in Boston, where they were on the ground responding to the horrific attack on the marathon," Mr. Grimm said. "This week's events have reminded us that we must remain vigilant, and this elite team assists that effort." [More..]

Wake up call to those still living in a pre-9/11 bubble, again.

“I am honored to be a part of a delegation that will represent the United States at the Funeral of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Friday, March 8,” Mr. Meeks, a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said in a statement. “My deepest sympathies go out to the family of President Chavez and the people of Venezuela. Bob Woodward: Obama Is Showing 'A Kind Of Madness'..

"I haven't seen in a long time".

Bob Woodward has gone from calling Obama a liar to mad.

Okay:

The Washington Post's Bob Woodward ripped into President Barack Obama on "Morning Joe" today, saying he's exhibiting a "kind of madness I haven't seen in a long time" for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.[More...]

#Benghazi: Def Sec Panetta & Gen Dempsey Testify Before The Senate Armed Services Committee
Obama Only Spoke To Panetta & Dempsey ONCE During Night Of Attack
Obama Never Requested A Update

 photo benghazi_heroes_zps638f9e5b.jpg

You can listen/watch here

WTF? Panetta wants to talk sequester. Umm, this hearing is about Benghazi, stop changing the subject.

Update: Panetta - "The US military is not, and should not, be a 911 service, capable of arriving on the scene in minutes around the world"

Update: Back to talking about sequester thanks to Sen Manchin (D).

Update: Sen Graham asked: Was any aircraft or any personnel sent to Benghazi during the attack? Any DOD asset sent at all? Gen. Dempsey: No.

Panetta and Dempsey said they spoke to Obama one time the night of Benghazi attack and that Obama never requested an update. Hence, no images of Obama in the 'war room'? Wow.

Via Sen Ayotte. (Who asked some excellent questions): "POTUS never asked what assets we had available to help on night of #Benghazi attack". "Shocking that POTUS never spoke with SECDEF or CJS again after learning our consulate was attacked to ask 'how's it going?'". "POTUS outsourced #Benghazi response". Amen to that, Sen Ayotte.[Uodate: video added of exchange]

The democrats on the committee only want to talk about the budget, sequestration. Pathetic.

Update: Sen Cruz focusing on "window when attack began". "What could have been done, what military options". Panetta: "Tough to respond to a hypothetical" "Can't bomb the hell out of the place without knowing what was going on". Cruz: "What is the absolute fastest for boots on the ground" Dempsey: "13 hours". "No AC-130's in Africa that night". Regarding meeting with Obama, Cruz: "How much of that meeting was about Benghzi" Panetta: 15 to 20 minutes".

Who Said This? 'Nothing's going to stop me! Not even deaths!'..

From Bronco Bama's cousin aka Dr Wolf: Guess-who-said-it game:

Here's how one prominent politician recently described his plans for energy production:
There are going to be screw-ups. There are going to be bankruptcies. There'll be indictments and there'll be deaths. But we're going to keep going - and nothing's going to stop me."
So guess guess who said it. Was it...:

(A) An evil Republican whose hellbent lust for profits compels him to lay the Keystone oil pipeline even if it destroys the environment.

or

(B) A peace-loving Democrat whose benevolent quest for wholesomeness inspires him to force taxpayers to fund solar power plants so we can save Mother Earth and sing kumbaya.

Me thinks the kumbaya one.

Barbarians at the Gate: Embracing Our New Barbarian Overlords

I'm feeling rather pessimistic today. Call it sour grapes. So pessimistic, in fact, that you might just call it out right doom and gloom. With an outlook on life and politics and the prospects for our country that usually I just laugh at. Not apocalyptic, per se, but something approaching that.

100 years after the Roman Empire fell there was still something lingering around calling itself the "Roman Empire". 500 years after Rome fell, there was something still calling itself the "Roman Empire". Over a thousand years after Rome fell, there were still people around speaking as if their country was really Rome.

In the East, the "Roman Empire" didn't end until 1453 with the fall of Constantinople.

In the West, the "Roman Empire" didn't end until Napoleon's victory at Austerlitz in 1805 over the last "Holy Roman" Emperor.

Farther East and North, the last Caesar ruled until 1917, when Czar (Czar = Caesar in Russian) Nicholas Romanov (= son of the Romans) II abdicated.

That is to say, the fiction of Rome lasted far longer than Rome itself. The idea of Rome being much more powerful than the actuality.

I can't help but wonder if America does ever fall, will the people living through it realize it is gone? That what future "Americans" call "America" will actually just be a fiction created by them as a way for them to try to reclaim some of the greatness that was once this thing called America? And that transition to the new fiction from the old reality will be lost on many who live through it?

And what if that generation is us?

If that is the case, and the America of the future is only related to the America of the past through the fictions we ourselves create, then is there really any hope?

Sure. Think of the Visigoths who sacked Rome, but who 150 years later were living in Gaul speaking Latin. Or better yet, the Ostrogoths who sacked true Rome for the last time, settled down on the Italian peninsula, and taught their children Latin.

100 years after Justinian briefly took Italy back from the Ostrogoths for Eastern Rome, you'd be hard pressed to find any one on the peninsula with even the faintest memory of their Germanic roots.

Further, the Romans didn't just go away. They didn't all die. The new invaders and the old Romans simply ... got on with life. They traded with one another. They lived side by side. They intermarried. Until finally, there were no more Romans and no more barbarians. In their wake they left us the English, the French, the Italians, and so on and so on.

And you know what? The ideas and ideals of Rome were so powerful that they live on today. In us.

As we become more and more like Europe, and less and less like the country that was founded on the principle that we are not Europe, then if there is any hope then it is this: that even as we become more like them, they are becoming more like us.

At some point in the future it will be our ideas which are remembered and venerated. That the fiction of America will long outlast any of its competition. And it will be our children and our children's children which will carry the blood of true America in their veins, even if it is mixed with the blood of those who destroyed the very thing which they will one day idealize.

Maybe this whole analogy is way off. I hope so. Maybe the future has something else completely in store for us. Maybe the next American renaissance is just around the corner. Or maybe we'll all be speaking Chinese.

I really couldn't tell you. But for now my faith is no longer in America continuing as the greatest nation on Earth. I just don't see it happening.

So, dig in and welcome our new barbarian overlords. They are us.

Report: 'Climate Change' One Of The Top Five Threats to National Security

Nat'l Defense Mag

Climate Change: The national security ramifications of climate change are severe, according to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. While the topic of climate change has been hugely politicized, Panetta casts the issue as a serious security crisis. “In the 21st century, we recognize that climate change can impact national security — ranging from rising sea levels, to severe droughts, to the melting of the polar caps, to more frequent and devastating natural disasters that raise demand for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief,” Panetta said. The administration projects that the change wrought by a warming planet will lead to new conflicts over refugees and resources and catastrophic natural disasters, all of which would require increased U.S. military support and resources. The scientific community, in this area, cannot agree on what it will take to reverse this trend. There is agreement, though, that there is no silver bullet.
Quote: "increased U.S. military support and resources"

I point you to this video from FNC's Breit Baier special: Behind Obama's Green Agenda:

The US Embassy in Vienna celebrated "greening" by using a Government Motors product, the Chevy Volt. A good time was had by all, champagne sipping, etc. The Obama administration had no problem with funding this wonderful achievement.

In a May 3, 2012, email, the State Department denied a request by a group of Special Forces assigned to protect the U.S. embassy in Libya to continue their use of a DC- 3 airplane for security operations throughout the country.

The subject line of the email, on which slain Ambassador Chris Stevens was copied, read: “Termination of Tripoli DC-3 Support.”

Four days later, on May 7, the State Department authorized the U.S. embassy in Vienna to purchase a $108,000 electric vehicle charging station for the embassy motor pool’s new Chevrolet Volts. The purchase was a part of the State Department’s “Energy Efficiency Sweep of Europe” initiative, which included hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on green program expenditures at various U.S. Embassies.

In fact, at a May 10 gala held at the U.S. embassy in Vienna, the ambassador showcased his new Volts and other green investments as part of the U.S. government’s commitment to “climate change solutions."

Meanwhile in Libya, there were no Chevy Volts or other "climate change solutions" to celebrate, I suppose.

The "greening" of our national security can be summed up with these two images:

Obama Administration: "Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive". Ambassador Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods are dead but General Motors is alive.

Nuff said.

State Dept. Confirms: Marines on 9/11/12 Were Protecting U.S. Embassy--in Barbados

Bikini clad terrorists?

(CNSNews.com) -- When terrorists attacked the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 of this year and killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, there were no U.S. Marines deployed in Libya to defend U.S. diplomats, diplomatic facilities and classified information and equipment.

However, says the State Department, a Marine Security Detachment was deployed on that day to carry out those duties at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados.

“U.S. Marine Security Guards serve at the U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, and at other diplomatic missions around the world, to protect and safeguard American diplomacy,” Rebecca Ross, the U.S. Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean Counselor for Public Affairs, said in a statement to CNSNews.com

Univision To Air Tonight (7:00 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central)) The Untold Story Behind The "Fast and Furious" Scandal..

Mary Chastain

In July and August I worked on a post for Big Government about the human aspect of Operation Fast & Furious, the government gun walking operation that put guns into the hands of already dangerous Mexican drug cartels. The Old Media largely ignores Fast & Furious, but when they do pay attention, they scarcely mention the victims. Not until I put an enormous amount of pressure on The New York Times did they start saying "Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry" instead of just "a border patrol agent."

Tomorrow Today[ed], September 30, Univision will be airing “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now) about Fast & Furious. It will document the people who lost their lives because of this program. Univision’s investigative unit found many more deaths linked to Fast & Furious and will talk about them during the special, including the killing of 16 young people at a party.

I remember watching Obama, when attending a town hall with Univision, he was asked why he didn't fire Eric Holder. Obama went into a speel and lied by saying GW started the program.
“Well, first of all, I think it’s important for us to understand that the Fast and Furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration,” said President Obama.

Fast and Furious started in November 2009. Someone needs to remind President Obama he was president at that time, not President Bush. He also claimed Mr. Holder has held people accountable for their actions. However, no one has been held accountable. People have been allowed to resign quietly or reassigned to another position. No one has been fired. No one has been charged with any crime.

We are in a sad state of affairs when it takes Univision to investigate the Fast and Furious scandal.

Radical Islam Joins the DNC

No, I'm not kidding:

radical islam_dnc convention.png
[Breeanne Howe/RedState]Starting at the end of this month the Democratic National Convention will open with a focus on Islam. 20,000 Muslims are expected to attend according to the Bureau of Indigenous Muslim Affairs (BIMA), the national Muslim American non-profit coordinating the two days of events they claim are non-political. ”Jumah at the DNC” begins August 29 and will start with a Friday afternoon jummah prayer followed by other unnamed programs and events, leading up to the Islamic Regal Banquet. The following day will be an all day Islamic Cultural and Fun Fest which will include discussions on the topics of Islamaphobia, Anti-Shariah, Middle Eastern Crisis, Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act and more. The purpose, according to BIMA, is to attract national and international attention to the plight of American Muslims and to hold political parties accountable for issues that affect them. However, not all Muslims feel that BIMA represents them and M. Zuhdi Jasser M.D., Founder and President of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, has expressed serious concerns.
It is troubling that the Democratic National Convention has decided to promote and lend its name and national political platform to the organizers of the “Jummah at the DNC”. The leaders of this event – Jibril Hough and Imam Siraj Wahhaj as advertised are no moderates. They are radicals. These individuals embrace Islamist supremacy and have demonstrated support for radical ideologies.

A quick Google search by the DNC would have shown them that Hough and Wahhaj are leaders in the separatist American Islamist movement. While they may be able to get a few thousand Muslims to attend the event, they are NOT going to be mainstream Muslims. Most will likely come from Hough and Wahhaj’s radical networks that have long been entrenched in the Charlotte area. Make no mistake they are part of the Islamist movement.

This is not about their right of assembly; this group under a different name pulled the same stunt at the US capitol in 2009 claiming 20k and getting 2-3k. THIS IS ABOUT the DNC calling this an “official function” listing these radicals as typical of the DNC community and more importantly about this organization speaking out AS representing supposedly typical American Muslims (or “Mainstream”).

If that is who the DNC is consorting with then all Americans, Democrats should be concerned. There are many patriotic Muslims who are part of both parties, and when radical ideologues like this do a demonstration of “solidarity” in the name of our faith and choose an imam like Siraj Wahhaj who I saw with my own eyes in 1995 seditiously say it his duty and our duty as Muslims to replace the US Constitution with the Quran- then we need to speak up!

Their jummah (group) prayer is supposedly against the Patriot Act, the NYPD, and Islamophobia and is actually NOT about our democracy but about empowering their Islamist and MB (Muslim Brotherhood) sympathetic groups into the very fabric of the political system so that Americans become anesthetized. We need American Muslims to speak up and marginalize these radicals. The DNC needs to understand and reject them because of their radical history and ideas.

Guns and Chick-fil-A a Matter of Trust

Peter Ingemi hit the nail on the head with this:

I have heard a lot of people on the left self righteously complain that conservatives are unwilling to agree to “common sense gun control” that we are unreasonable fanatics who would oppose restrictions on the ownership of Sherman Tanks.

Most of all; we are totally wrong to believe that the left is after our guns just because of the proposed assault weapon ban.

Why would we have such a belief, how can the folks on the right even think we on the left are after their guns, all their guns?

The answer: Chick-Fil-A

Twenty years ago there was nobody NOBODY nationally who was pushing the idea of gay marriage. If Bill Clinton had come out for Gay Marriage in 1992 he would have lost 49 states.

Obama Administration Sucks Terrorist Ass in Return For Pakistani Help

You know I don't really get why the Haqqani network would not be covered by previous UN and US declarations of the Taliban as foreign terrorist organization?

But then again the Obama administration has not really enforced the designations against the Taliban, even going so far as to approve a Taliban embassy in Qatar.

And last September, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said U.S. officials were "in the final formal review" for designating the entire Haqqani network as a terrorist organization. So what is taking so long?

In a word: Pakistan.

"If you designate the Haqqani network an FTO, then there would be significant pressure placed on the United States and the international community to designate Pakistan a state sponsor of terrorism," Rick "Ozzie" Nelson of the Center for Strategic and International Studies told Security Clearance. "It would be hard to avoid going down that road."

But Pakistan is a state sponsor of terrorism, both domestically and outside Pakistan. Has been for many years. Islamists everywhere cite Pakistian's nuclear arms as a critical deterrent in providing a base of operations for the Islamization of THE WORLD!

I'd rather drive half the army across Russia and Europe than see America suck off Pakistan for a route to the sea. But Obama seems OK with it.

What a effing pussy or an Islamist... you decide.

If You're A Terrorist Abroad, the Fact that You're an American is Only Incidental

This story at the Washington Post describing how the ACLU is suing the Administration under FOIA reminds me about a number of headlines I've seen at Drudge lately and a number of emails I've been getting about the targeted killing of Americans overseas.

The way you word things matters and I've become more and more annoyed over the past few years as many on the Right have increasingly adopted the phraseology of ardent Leftists. People who only a few years ago were die hard supporters of the war on terrorism today use phrases to make it seem that the same policies carried out under Bush are now leading to jack-booted-thuggery.

Clearly, there is a bit of Obama Derangement Syndrome happening here.

The particular wording I'm annoyed at today is the description of drone strikes as the "targeted killing of American citizens".

While the phrase is accurate, it's misleading.

We're at war. In a war, you kill your enemies. The fact that your enemies who are members or leaders of a foreign terrorist organization operating overseas are American is only incidental to the fact that they are terrorists.

We didn't kill Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan because they were Americans. We killed them because they were terrorists.

This wasn't a case of the President of the United States killing a criminal in lieu of a trial. These were enemy combatants. You kill your enemies, you don't bring them to trial.

The fact that your enemy is an American citizen is irrelevant.

The idea which has been fostered by the Left for years and by some segments of the Right since Obama came to office that such authority could lead to the government rounding up citizens and killing them without a trial is nonsense based on two of the most rudimentary logical fallacies: slippery slope and hypothetical.

First, no US citizen has been killed when arresting that individual was an alternative. We've had hundreds of terrorists arrested in the US since 9/11, most of them have been US citizens, and all of them have received civilian trials.

The idea that the President might use his alleged authority to round people up is a hypothetical. It's never happened.

Second, the hypothetical is based on absurd slippery slope arguments. That since a President could detain or kill someone overseas without a civilian trial then what's stopping him from doing it on our own soil?

The thing that's stopping him is called The Constitution of the United States of America.

All of the arguments that the Patriot Act or the recently reauthorized NDAA somehow give the President cart blanch to extra-Constitutionally round up, detain, or kill American citizens on American soil just isn't true.

It doesn't matter how many sophisticated lawyers make the case, those arguments are still based on slippery slope reasoning and overlook the basic wording of the documents and the laws as actually practiced.

I get why Leftists hate our war against terrorists, but what I don't get is why some on the Right are equally adamant? The Left doesn't like war in general, and has historically adhered to our enemies with one exception -- WWII when our ally was communist Russia.

But on the Right? That's sheer Obama Derangement Syndrome.

The idea that we are going to fly FBI agents to Yemen, read members of al Qaeda their rights, and then bring them to Virginia for a trial is sheer fantasy. It's completely and utterly disconnected to reality.

Yet that is what you are arguing for if you oppose targeted assassinations or military trials. Unless, of course, you are arguing that the US should do nothing about jihadi terrorism, even when that terrorism is directly targeted against the United States.

Before 9/11 the policy of the US was to treat terrorists as criminals. After the USS Cole and African embassy bombings, President Clinton sent in the FBI to investigate.

Yeah, that did a lot of good. 9/11 was an outgrowth of that policy position.

So, if you want to go back to that model then, by all means, keep advocating for an end to drone strikes and military commissions.

And when we're hit on a mass scale like we were on 9/11 again, I'll blame you and your legalistic ideology in regards to notions of civil liberties for the atrocity.

The U.S. Governments Failed History Of Muslim Outreach Since 9/11

Patrick Poole

When President Obama hosted his annual iftar dinner in August to commemorate Ramadan, the list of invitees published by the White House was curiously missing the names of several attendees — all of whom are top leaders of organizations known to be purveyors of jihadist ideology. But it was not like they had crashed the party. One of the unlisted, Mohamed Magid, head of the Muslim Brotherhood-linked Islamic Society of North America, was photographed by Reuters sitting at the front table only a few feet from the president as he spoke.

This was just the most recent episode in the federal government’s disastrous attempts at outreach to the Muslim community since the 9/11 attacks. With the release of President Obama’s new strategic plan to combat “violent extremism” by expanding outreach to these same terror-tied groups, the present administration seems intent on compounding the problems wrought by its predecessors.

Misguided outreach activities began long before 9/11, with the best example being the case of Abdurahman Alamoudi.

Alamoudi was the conduit through which much of the U.S. government’s outreach was pursued following the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Not only was he asked by the Clinton administration to help train and certify all Muslim military chaplains, his organization being the first to do so, but he also was appointed by the State Department in 1997 as a goodwill ambassador to the Middle East, making six taxpayer-funded trips. It is fair to say that during this period, Alamoudi was the most prominent and politically connected Muslim leader in America.

As we now know, Alamoudi was indicted in October 2003 for moving money on behalf of Libyan intelligence in an assassination plot targeting Saudi Prince (now King) Abdullah. The U.S. government has admitted that at the time he was being courted by Democrats and Republicans alike, he was a major fundraiser for al-Qaeda.

However, it is not as if the U.S. government was unaware of Alamoudi’s attachments. As far back as 1993, an informant told the FBI that Alamoudi was funneling regular payments from Osama bin Laden to Omar Abdel Rahman, the “blind sheikh” who was convicted of authorizing terror attacks against New York landmarks. In March 1996, Alamoudi’s association with Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook was exposed in the pages of the Wall Street Journal. Two years later, the State Department came under fire by the New York Post for inviting Alamoudi to official events despite his known remarks in support of terrorism and terrorist leaders.

When President Bush took office, Alamoudi was quickly courted by the new administration. In June 2001, the Jerusalem Post reported that Alamoudi was going to be part of a White House meeting with Vice President Cheney despite the fact that Alamoudi was known to have attended a terror confab in Beirut earlier that year featuring representatives from virtually every major Islamic terrorist organization in the world, including al-Qaeda.

Yet just days after the 9/11 attacks, Alamoudi was one of the Muslim leaders asked to appear with President Bush at the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C. That same week, one of Alamoudi’s close associates, Muzammil Siddiqi, was asked to deliver an Islamic prayer and to represent the entire Muslim-American community at the national prayer service mourning the fallen.[Continue reading]

Congressional Black Caucus' Dangerous Violent Rhetoric: Declares 'War' on Racist Tea Party

Black Democrats want blacks to stay on the 21st century plantation

Allen West told substitute host Laura Ingraham, “you have this 21st century plantation that has been out there, when the democrat party has forever taken the black vote for granted.”

Black Democrats are merely plantation overseers, West said.

“You have established certain black leaders who are nothing more than the overseers of that plantation, and now the people on that plantation are upset, because they have been disregarded, disrespected and their concerns are not cared about,” West said

Needless to say, West isn't a favorite member of the caucus.

Andrew Sullivan: Birther, CIA Denier

Check out Marc Thiessen's piece in WaPo on those who continue to deny that CIA interrogations were key in finding Osama bin Laden. Ironically, it's America hater Julian Assange's WikiLeaks that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that enhanced interrogations worked.

Hey Julian: thanks a lot, assmaggot. No, I really mean it this time.

If you start clicking the links he provides, you'll see Andy Sullivan features prominently among those in denial of the facts. Which should come as no surprise given that his delusional mind still calls for an investigation into Sarah Palin's womb.

Good News! Three Convicted in Terror-Related Cases Later Granted U.S. Citizenship by Obama Administration

Via CNS

(CNSNews.com) -- Three people convicted of crimes as a result of a terrorism-related investigation by the Department of Justice (DOJ) were later naturalized as U.S. citizens by the Obama administration, according to federal auditors.

The March 2011 audit (released on April 21, 2011) by the Government Accountability Office (GAO), entitled Criminal Alien Statistics: Information on Incarcerations, Arrests and Costs, shows that three individuals were among “defendants where the investigation involved an identified link to international terrorism but they were charged with violating other statutes [not directly related to terrorism], including fraud, immigration, drugs, false statements, and general conspiracy charges,” referred by DOJ as Category II terrorism-related cases.[Continue reading]

Update: Hey, who says the federal government isn’t efficient? The deal got announced a few minutes ago:
The Justice Department said on Friday it has approved Google’s $700 million acquisition of ITA, an online travel company specializing in airline ticketing software, with several conditions.
Eric Schmidt must be proud!
Whew! Never mind that military families will have to do without pay; at least they’ve taken care of Eric Schmidt. Our long national nightmare is over.

U.S. Army Deserter Denied Asylum in Germany

Andre-Shepherd-deserter.jpg
Andre Shepherd

(Frankfurt, Germany) The German Federal Office of Immigration and Refugees has denied the asylum request of U.S. Army deserter Andre Shepherd, 33.

Among other assertions, Shepherd claimed that the Iraq War is illegal and people are killed which put him in danger of committing war crimes. The German feds said something like, "What war crimes? You're a helicopter mechanic."

Shepherd's lawyer says a forced return to the U.S. to face desertion charges is "out of the question." More here and here.

Senate Dems Counter to Rep Kings Hearings on Radicalization of U.S. Muslims: Hearings on Muslims Rights

Due to the increase of Muslim hate crimes Sen Durbin feels the need to hold hearings on their rights.

Just weeks after House Republicans held a hearing looking at the dangers of radical Muslims in the U.S., Senate Democrats are countering with a hearing of their own, scheduled for after Congress returns from a 10-day vacation, to examine Muslims' civil rights.

Senate Majority Whip Richard J. Durbin, Illinois Democrat, announced the subcommittee hearing Tuesday, saying there has been a spike in anti-Muslim bigotry in the last year that demands closer attention.

“Our Constitution protects the free exercise of religion for all Americans,” Mr. Durbin said. “During the course of our history, many religions have faced intolerance. It is important for our generation to renew our founding charter’s commitment to religious diversity and to protect the liberties guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.”

Funny, Sen Durbin didn't see the need to hold a hearing on anti-Jewish hate crimes even though they account for the highest percentage of all hate crimes.

DNI James Clapper: Egypts Muslim Brotherhood Largely Secular (Update: Video added)

“Allah is our objective; the Quran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”

Click me

WTF?

During a House Intelligence Committee hearing Thursday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper called Egypt's branch of the Muslim Brotherhood movement "largely secular."

In response to questioning from Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) about the threat posed by the group, Clapper suggested that the Egyptian part of the Brotherhood is not particularly extreme and that the broader international movement is hard to generalize about.

"The term 'Muslim Brotherhood'...is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam," Clapper said. "They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera.....

Egypt: Mubarak Resigns(Error from Reuters&Al Araibya TV)/Al Jazeera's English Taqiyya continues (Update: Top leaders resign)

Update: Besides Mubarak, top leaders in the ruling party resign

Update II: Error in reports from Reuters & Al Araibya television that Mubarak had resigned

Reuters and Al Araibya television have earlier reported that President Mubarak himself had resigned from a leadership position in the NDP as well, but those reports appear to have stemmed from confusion that Mubarak is chairman over the council which resigned.

Mubarak still continues as the nation's president.

Original post:

hmmm

President Hosni Mubarak has resigned as the head of Egypt ruling party, according to State television.

It comes as the country was on the verge of descending into chaos as newly appointed vice president Omar Suleiman reportedly survived an assassination attempt and saboteurs allegedly attacked an oil pipeline.

BTW, yesterdayAl Jazeera English live stream was heavy on propaganda..using FNC O'Reilly's 'that's a memo' segment regarding Muslim Brotherhood along with rolling headline "American's are creating fear mongering" and "US Networks are chastised for their poor reporting", "demand Al Jazeera English in US"

“TICKING TIME BOMB” FORT HOOD MASSACRE COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED
Committee Report Finds Internal Disputes, Poor Coordination at FBI and Failure to Acknowledge Violent Islamist Extremism at DOD

WASHINGTON – The Fort Hood massacre, which left 13 dead and 32 wounded, could have been prevented, Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Joe Lieberman, ID-Conn., and Ranking Member Susan Collins, R-Me., said Thursday, as they unveiled their report on the November 5, 2009, terrorist attack.

Evidence of accused killer Nidal Hasan’s growing drift toward violent Islamist extremism was on full display during his military medical training, although his superiors took no punitive action, according to the report. Two of his associates said he was a “ticking time bomb.” He had defended Osama Bin Laden and suggested Muslim Americans in the U.S. military might be prone to commit fratricide.

But, a slipshod FBI investigation into Hasan, coupled with internal disagreements and structural flaws in the agency’s intelligence operations also contributed to the government’s failure to prevent the attack.

DOD and FBI “collectively had sufficient information necessary to have detected Hasan’s radicalization to violent Islamist extremism but failed both to understand and to act on it,” the report states. “Our investigation found specific and systemic failures in the government’s handling of the Hasan case and raises additional concerns about what may be broader systemic issues.”

DOD Failures

The report tracks Hasan’s growing radicalization in the years before the attack and the numerous failures of the military to intervene or take action against him. For example, two officers described Hasan, during his medical residency and fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, as “a ticking time bomb.” At various times while he was at Walter Reed, Hasan suggested revenge might be a defense for the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and expressed sympathy with violent Islamist extremists and bin Laden. He also justified suicide bombers; said U.S. military operations represented a war against Islam; and stated that one of the risks of having Muslims in the U.S. military was the possibility of fratricide of fellow service members.

“The officers who kept Hasan in the military and moved him steadily along knew full well of his problematic behavior,” the report found. “As the officer who assigned Hassan to Fort Hood (and later decided to deploy Hasan to Afghanistan) admitted to an officer at Fort Hood, ‘you’re getting our worst.’”

Astonishingly, one of the reasons Hasan’s commanders claimed for not taking action against Hasan was a belief that the evidence of his growing radicalization actually provided an understanding of violent Islamist extremism and the culture of Islam. His Officer Evaluation Report for July 2007 to June 2008, for example, said Hasan’s work on the role of culture and Islamic faith in the context of terrorism “has extraordinary potential to inform national policy and military strategy.”

FBI Failures

The report also examines the all-too-cursory FBI investigation into Hasan’s activities when he came to the agency’s attention in early 2009; and the critical dispute, unresolved by FBI headquarters, between two Joint Terrorist Task Forces (JTTF) – the anti-terrorist intelligence units created in the aftermath of 9/11, comprised of federal, state, and local officials, and meant to facilitate intelligence information sharing and operational coordination.

On January 7, 2009, the San Diego JTTF sent a memo to the Washington JTTF about Hasan’s communications with a known terrorist already under investigation. Despite the red flags this should have raised, the Washington JTTF waited more than six weeks before assigning the investigation to an analyst from the Defense Department who was attached to the Washington JTTF. The analyst then waited until the last day of the customary 90-day deadline for completing inquiries and wrote his report in four hours, without considering the investigation from a counterintelligence perspective. Instead, he relied on Hasan’s sanitized Officer Evaluation Reports. The San Diego JTTF thought the inquiry was superficial but dropped the matter. FBI headquarters was never informed of, and played no role, in the Hasan investigation.

The FBI’s view of intelligence analysts from other agencies assigned to JTTFs compounded the problem. JTTF analysts from non-FBI agencies were not allowed full access to a key FBI database, which likely would have sparked a more in-depth inquiry.

Recommendations

The report found “compelling evidence that Hasan embraced views so extreme that he did not belong in the military.” It also found that FBI organizational problems have impeded the agency’s full use of intelligence analysts, concluding that the FBI’s “transformation into an intelligence driven, domestic counterterrorism organization needs to be accelerated.”

Among the report’s recommendations to strengthen our defenses against homegrown terrorism:

• DOD policies against extremism among service members must explicitly cover violent Islamist extremism. This is too important to be subsumed within policies aimed at “violent extremism” in general or “workplace violence.”

• Military equal employment rules and religious accommodations must clearly differentiate between violent Islamist extremism and protected religious observance. That way, the thousands of Muslim-Americans who serve our country honorably will be protected from suspicion for practicing their religion.

• Military employment evaluations and personnel records must accurately and candidly describe performance and behavior that could pose threats.

• The FBI needs to integrate its 56 field offices more effectively under headquarters leadership.

• The FBI needs to ensure that its JTTFs more convincingly share information and coordinate operations with other federal, state, and local agencies.

• The FBI must systematically update how it conducts its investigative activities. In the Hasan case, the FBI failed to identify all of Hasan’s communications with the suspected terrorist and the extent of the threat contained within them.

• The FBI needs to use intelligence analysts more skillfully. In the Hasan case, analysts were not consulted by the Washington Joint Terrorism Task Force to analyze his communications and help determine the objectives for the FBI’s inquiry.

• The U.S. must develop a national strategy to counter domestic terrorist radicalization. The reality is that even had the military dismissed Hasan before the attacks, our government would not have been well-positioned to counter his growing radicalization.

This report and its recommendations are particularly important given the dramatic increase in homegrown terrorist plots over the past two years. Thirteen people died needlessly at Fort Hood. Their memory will be served if the recommendations of this report are adopted quickly so the next “ticking time bomb” can be spotted early and defused before another deadly detonation.

Mark Levin Threatens to Sue Matthews, Olbermann, Schultz and Anyone Tying Him to Tucson Shootings

Via NewsBusters

According to the American Spectator, Levin moments before this issued a challenge to Matthews:
"I challenge Chris Matthews, I'll put $100,000 on the table, to find any example where Sarah Palin has promoted the murder of anybody," said Levin -- specifically excluding terrorists and the Taliban.

Levin went on: "A hundred thousand on the table if Chris Matthews can find anywhere Mark Levin has urged the murder of people who have different political viewpoints. That's the murder of politicians …where I said go out there and kill X,Y,Z…go out there and kill A,B,C. I challenge him right now. Sarah Palin. Me. Go ahead."

False accusations against conservatives by liberals in the media are nothing new. In her most recent column, Michelle Malkin writes the "blame righty" theme has become a staple in todays' so-called mainstream news. She writes:
For the past two years, Democrat officials, liberal activists, and journalists have jumped to libelous conclusions about individual shooting sprees committed by mentally unstable loners with incoherent delusions all over the ideological map. The White House now pledges to swear off “pointing fingers or assigning blame.” Alas, the Obama administration’s political and media foot soldiers have proven themselves incapable of such restraint.

Islams Useful Idiots

Rush on Amil Imani

A snippet from Amil Imani's post

Islam enjoys a large and influential ally among the non-Muslims: A new generation of “Useful Idiots,” the sort of people Lenin identified living in liberal democracies who furthered the work of communism. This new generation of Useful Idiots also live in liberal democracies, but serves the cause of Islamofascism—another virulent form of totalitarian ideology.

Useful Idiots are naïve, they are foolish, they are ignorant of facts, they are unrealistically idealistic, they are dreamers and they are willfully in denial or deceptive. They hail from the ranks of the chronically unhappy. They are anarchists, they are aspiring revolutionaries, they are neurotics who are at war with life, the disaffected alienated from government, corporations, and just about any and all institutions of society. The Useful Idiot can be a billionaire, a movie star, an academe of renown, a politician, or from any other segment of the population. Arguably, the most dangerous variant of the Useful Idiot is the “Politically Correct.” He is the master practitioner of euphemism, hedging, doubletalk, and outright deception[...]

The lesson is clear. Beware of the Useful Idiots who live in liberal democracies. Knowingly or unknowingly, they serve as the greatest volunteer and effective soldiers of Islam. They pave the way for the advancement of Islam and they will assuredly be among the very first victims of Islam as soon as it assumes power.

Indeed!
