Porn & Jihad: 'Brother Alyas' On Internet Porn Addiction

He failed to mention terrorist frequent porn sites to post their jihadi videos, I guess he forgot that porn was found on now dead bin Laden's computer.

"So Called American Citizen": Is That Another Name For Traitor?

Sen Feinstein calls Awlaki a so called American citizen

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around Democratic Rep. John Conyers’ suggestion to start calling illegal immigrants “out of status” new Americans, and now Sen. Dianne Feinstein has thrown us another curve. While questioning CIA director nominee John Brennan at his confirmation hearing today, Feinstein referred to [AQAP's..ed]radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a Predator drone strike in 2011, as a “so-called American citizen.”
I guess that means the North Carolina Muslim, Samir Khan, was also a "so-called American citizen" too? Sammy went to Yemen, joined AQAP and was proud to 'denounce' his citizenship, as he pointed out in "Inspire":

Therefore, I am proud to be a traitor in America’s eyes just as much as I am proud to be a Muslim; and I take this opportunity to accentuate my oath of allegiance (bai`yah) and the mujahidin of the Arabian Peninsula’s bai`yah to the ferocious lion, the champion of jihad, the humble servant of God, my beloved Shaykh, Usama bin Ladin, may Allah protect him. Verily, he is the man that has shook the thrones of the tyrants of the world. We pledge to wage jihad for the rest of our lives until either we implant Islam all over the world or meet our Lord as bearers of Islam. And how reputable, adventurous and pleasurable is such a life compared to those who remain sitting, working from nine to five?
He was with Awlaki when he was droned, so what? We killed 2 al-Qaeda bitches, period.

Clint Watts says it best: Americans: If You Don’t Want To Get Killed By A Drone, Avoid These 4 Things!

Don’t join al Qaeda outside the United States[...]
Don’t become a Senior Leader of al Qaeda overseas[...]
Don’t actively plan to kill or actually attempt to kill Americans [..]
Don’t make it difficult to be arrested[...]

Yes, We Should Kill American al Qaeda
Damn Right We Have the Right to Kill Americans ... IN AL QAEDA

Vietnamese Immigrant Charged With Aiding AQAP
Met With Awlaki & Samir Khan

Minh Quang Pham allegedly helped design and distribute AQAP "propaganda"

A Vietnamese immigrant has been charged in New York over an alleged role in helping al-Qaida in Yemen.

Minh Quang Pham was arrested in Britain. He is accused of traveling to Yemen to train with members of al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP.

Pham is also accused of helping the group with its online propaganda efforts. Investigators said he was in Yemen from December 2010 through July 2011.

The article further states he met with Anwar al Awlaki and Samir Khan. As regular readers know, both were droned. Too bad this assmaggot wasn't with them at the time.

Update: Alternative title: Samir Khan's assistant arrested in Britain, soon to be shipped to USA

Update II: The IPT has a PDF link to Pham's (aka "Amin") indictment

From the indictment, Pham appears to have been actively participating with AQAP just months before the United States killed senior American al-Qaida propagandists Anwar al-Awlaki and Samir Khan. The drone strike effectively halted AQAP's reach in the English-speaking world, although the group released two additional issues of the Inspire magazine produced by al-Awlaki and Khan.

I'm not familiar with this case but Rusty did a post on this last November. You can view it here The PDF of the indictment is here.

HOUSTON — A Texas man[Muslim convert..ed] convicted of trying to sneak out of the U.S. to give al-Qaida restricted military documents, GPS equipment and money was sentenced on Thursday to 20 years in prison — the maximum punishment he could receive[..]

Barry Walter Bujol Jr. was also ordered to pay a $10,000 fine during his sentencing hearing before U.S. District Judge David Hittner.

Hittner sentenced Bujol to 15 years for the charge related to trying to provide help to a terrorist group and five years for identity theft. The judge ordered the sentences be served consecutively.

Prosecutors said Bujol, a U.S. citizen, sought to join al-Qaida and provide it with money, two nonpublic restricted-access Army manuals related to U.S. drones and GPS equipment. He was arrested in May 2010 following a two-year investigation after he used fake identification to sneak into a Houston port and board a ship bound for the Middle East[More...]

GOP Rep Demands Copy Of Report On Awlaki EMails With Nidel (SOA) Hasan

nidal hassan_awalki.jpg
Soldier of Allah Butt Buddies

In a letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller, Republican Rep. Frank Wolf has demanded a copy of the still-classified report about the alleged Fort Hood shooter's email exchanges with Al Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki.

That report was compiled after former FBI and CIA director William Webster was asked in December 2009, following the Fort Hood massacre, to review the bureau's handling of the emails between Maj. Nidal Hasan and the radical [DEAD]cleric al-Awlaki.

The Webster report is complete, but the FBI has so far refused to put a time frame on the release of a declassified version.

In the letter, Wolf, R-Va., also pushed Mueller to explain the cleric's mysterious return to the U.S. in fall 2002, as first reported by Fox News.[More]

I'm sure Mr PC Mueller will get right on it, maybe.

Senate Study on The Online Radicalization of Zachary Chesser of Revolution Muslim

Government Security News:

The Internet and social media are integral ingredients in the rapid radicalization of homegrown terrorists, said a staff study by the Senate homeland security committee that recommended a coordinated government response to counter online radical propaganda and help communities intervene in the radicalization process.

The report, released on Feb. 27 by the staff of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, was based on the close study of the personal writings of Zachary Chesser, the Bristow, VA man now serving a 25-year sentence for threatening the writers of the South Park television show, soliciting violent jihadists to desensitize law enforcement, and attempting to provide material support to Al-Shabaab.

The study also provides some unique detail into Chesser’s motivations and personality.

The Senate staff said Chesser’s case was a classic case study of how quickly online radicalization can occur compared to the traditional process of face to face contact between an aspirant and an established terrorist group.

The .pdf copy of the study is here.

Jawa report was not mentioned in the study, we were basically robbed. But we're getting really used to that ;)

Update: A mention of if not our name, our actions on page 19.

Awesome! Abu Izzadeen Arrested Yet Again

British police say 22 people have been arrested outside of the US embassy in London during a protest over the use of military drones in Pakistan.

Scotland Yard confirmed the arrests on Friday at the demonstration organised by a group calling itself United Ummah.

The demonstration was advertised as a gathering that would include Friday prayers outside of the US embassy to draw attention to "the murder of Muslims with drones".

The protest was actually against the strike on Samir Khan and Anwar al-Awaki. The brothers at Ansar Enlgish forum are asking we make Du'ah for Abu Izzadeen and his Akhi from Islam4UK.

Congressional Investigators Want 9/11 Suspects Questioned About Awlaki

Via a photo essay

Three letters sent Tuesday and obtained by Fox News show the committee's investigation into the cleric, who was killed in a CIA-led operation in Yemen on Sept. 30, has broadened since his death.

In the first letter, Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, wrote to Lt. Gen. Ronald Burgess, director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is responsible for directing interrogations of detainees in military custody at Guantanamo, including the self-described architect of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

King asked the agency to question detainees involved in plotting 9/11 about the possible roles of Eyad al-Rababah of Jordan, Daoud Chehazeh of Syria and Awlaki in the terror attack.

"I understand that these detainees have not been interrogated in several years, and certainly not since Awlaki's role within Al Qaeda became widely acknowledged in 2009," King wrote.

Al-Rababah and Chehazeh were first profiled by the Fox News Specials Unit in "Secrets of 9/11," which aired in May. The investigation outlined the domestic support network that allowed the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers to move around the U.S. with ease.

It also presented new and compelling evidence that Awlaki was an overlooked player in the Sept. 11 plot who slipped through the FBI's grasp after the attack.

Terrorist's Family Demands Apology from US

The takeaway: riding in a car with a terrorist is never a good idea, especially if your last name is Awlaki:

The family of radical Islamic cleric Anwar al-Awlaki has issued a statement condemning the killing of Awlaki and of Awlaki's teen son, and accusing the U.S. of lying about the younger Awlaki's age in order to "clear itself from the killing of the innocents."

Anwar al-Awlaki, an al Qaeda leader linked to multiple terror attacks in the U.S. and Britain, was killed along with al Qaeda propagandist Samir Khan in a Sept. 30 CIA drone strike in Yemen. Abdulrahman al-Awlaki died in a separate U.S. drone strike on Oct. 14 along with six others, including Ibrahim al-Bana, an Egyptian whom U.S. officials identified as an operational al Qaeda leader. Anwar al-Awlaki, his son and Samir Khan were all U.S. citizens.

Al Qaeda Confirms Solidarity with Moveon.org, ACLU and Ron Paul

Like an enormous black hole the nuttiness of the fringes all seem to be on opposite ends of the event horizon, until suddenly you realize that they converge in a quantum singularity of disconnectedness so from reality that some theoretical physicists posit an alternate universe of craziness:

Al Qaeda’s Yemeni wing charged the U.S. violated its own Constitution and laws in the targeted killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, according to a statement on Monday confirming the American-born cleric is dead.

Like presidential candidate Ron Paul and others who have condemned the killing as an unconstitutional, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula used a legal argument to attack the drone assassination of the cleric and another American citizen, Samir Khan, who produced the Al Qaeda web magazine Inspire...

AQAP joined other critics — including presidential candidates Paul and Gary Johnson and organizations such the ACLU — in accusing the U.S. of acting unconstitutionally by assassinating a U.S. citizen without due process.

More evidence of the bizarro convergence of al Qaeda supporters and Ron Paulians: Linda G. Richards, noted online al Qaeda supporter, also claims that Samir Khan was innocent and that Ron Paul is awesome.

White House Refuses Darth Cheney Demand

Back story on this is Cheney was interviewed on CNN regarding Awlaki's body sploded into pieces. He wanted an apology from Obama adminstration over what Obama had stated in Germany, mainly[HuffPo]

The thing I am waiting for is for the administration to go back and correct something they said two years ago, when they criticized us for quote overreacting to the events of 9/11," Cheney said. "They in effect said we had walked away from our ideals, taking policy contrary to our ideals when we had enhanced interrogation techniques. They have clearly moved in the direction of taking robust action when they feel it is justified. In this case, it was. They need to go back and reconsider what the president said in Cairo."

The former vice president was referencing the speech Obama delivered in Cairo in 2009, in which he said the the trauma of 9/11 caused American to "act contrary to our ideals" and announced that "I have unequivocally prohibited the use of torture by the United States" and ordered Guantanamo Bay to be closed.

GITMO is still open, Obama has stepped up the drone strikes..which is good. But, leftist are criticizing due process of law over killing of Awlaki. Some HuffPo readers had forgotten that cuz any mention of the name Cheney drives them nutzo. HuffPo removed several comments from yesterday calling for the killing of Liz & Dick Cheney.

Via GoogleNews

WASHINGTON — The White House Monday rejected a call for an apology by ex-vice president Dick Cheney, who said a US strike against a top Al-Qaeda suspect in Yemen vindicated harsh Bush-era anti-terror policies.

Cheney had argued that the US drone attack last week that killed US-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaqi equated to tough treatment meted out by the previous administration to Al-Qaeda suspects, including enhanced interrogations.

But White House spokesman Jay Carney said that the Obama administration's record on chasing down terror suspects showed that America could make itself safe without compromising its ideals.

"If specifically, he's saying that an apology is called for because of measures that were taken that this president absolutely does not believe is the right way to go, he's not going to apologize," Carney said.

American Traitor Anwar al-Awlaki Killed in Yemen!
Upd: SAMIR KHAN, Threatened Rusty's Family, Dead!
Obama Confirms, Awlaki DEAD
Now with More Cowbell, M.C. Hammer
Online Jihadis Confirm: Samir Khan Dead!
Fingerprints Confirm!

Anwar al-Awlaki, DEAD!
Samir Khan, DEAD!

Breaking News!

The US-born radical Islamist cleric and suspected al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed in Yemen, the country's defence ministry has said.

A statement said only that he died "along with some of his companions."

Reportedly, al-Awlaki was killed by Yemeni forces.

UPDATE by Matt Damon: Looks like it may have been a drone that got him.

Al-Arabiya television network cited local tribal sources as saying suspected U.S. drone aircraft - which are known to operate in Yemen - fired two missiles Friday at a convoy of vehicles believed to be carrying al-Awlaki and his guards.
We will see how this shakes out...true or not.

Remember Sammy keep looking up......there is a drone with your name on it.

UPDATE II by Matt Damon: From Jake Tapper twitter account.

@ Jaketapper
Jake Tapper Sr admin officials tell ABC News that al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed
We know that Samir Khan was in contact with al-Awaki as his articles were in Sammy's last issue of Inspire released just a few days ago. Is he dead too? One can only hope.

Update: Saints be praised Samir Khan is dead!

Yemen Defense Ministry says another American in al-Qaida, Samir Khan, was killed with al-Awlaki
Update by Rusty: Reports are still in flux. As of this moment it's hard to confirm whether or not Awlaki and Khan are both dead. US officials are confirming, off the record, that Awlaki is dead -- but Jane Novak, who has deep contacts in Yemen, says that a local news agency, nass press, is reporting that Awlaki survived the attack and was only injured. And as Ed reminds us, this wouldn't be the first time Awlaki was reported dead. But other tribal sources claim he's dead.

As you know, the Arab world is rife with rumor that passes as fact. We'll keep you posted, but given that US officials are confirming off the record that Awlaki is dead, then I'll have to treat the naysaying as rumors until we hear otherwise.

The really personal news here would be that Samir Khan is dead. As long time readers know, Samir and I have had personal disputes over the years. It was Samir, then blogging as Inshallahshaheed, who threatened to kill my family. He even made this nice little graphic to go along with the threat.

Inshallahshaheed is Arabic for God willing, a martyr. Well, you got your wish Samir.

He who laughs last, laughs loudest.

Also, the guy not killed in a drone strike. He laughs loudest, too.

Update by Rusty: Sources in Yemen clarify why the rumor that he survived started: there were two missiles, he survived the first one .... but that second one? That one was the kill shot.

Update by Rusty: I like this from Malkin, who anticipates the reaction of the far left and some in the Ron Paul nutzo camp:

Obama’s far left flank will be unhappy if the mission to kill Awlaki, an American citizen, was successful. They will again decry such drone strikes against American citizens as unprecedented and lawless.

On this, I will come to Obama’s defense.

Awlaki’s membership and leadership in al Qaeda is undisputed.

We are at war.

Indeed, we are. Too many have forgotten that in war, the rules are different.

And on cue, Glenn Greenwald opens his mouth and proves that he's an idiot. Update: And the chief Paultard himself, Ron Paul.

Update by Rusty: Two conflicting tales of how big this is by CT analysts.

Alix Levine: It's big

Daveed Gartenstein-Ross: Not as big as you might think.

I'm with Alix, it's big. What Daveed is talking about is the long-term resilience of al Qaeda. Yes, they're resilient ... but Samir and Awlaki are media personalites that they won't be able to replace very easily. And since they both were raised in America, they will have a hard time finding someone to fill their shoes. Even Adam Gadahn, another al Qaeda propagandist from the US, didn't have the same type of impact on Western audiences.

Samir, especially, spoke in terms that American and English speaking European radicals could relate to. Gadahn has been in Afghanistan/Pakistan so long, that he sounds no different than any other radical from the Middle East.

In a tweet to me, Daveed actually agrees with this sentiment. It's just a matter of long vs. short-term perspective. But let's not be buzzkills today, okay people? It's a day to celebrate.

Yassin Musharbash

If the reports are true, then AQAP has lost its most important propagandist.
Agreed, with the caveat Awlaki was the best English spokesman for al Qaeda, but Samir Khan was its greatest propagandist. Also, the go to guy within the organization who really understood social media.

In fact, here's an early CT analysis roundup over at Jihadica.

Also, Intelwire.

Update by Rusty: President Obama, speaking live at Admiral Mullen's retirement, has confirmed that Awlaki is dead!

One last thought: If Samir was in one of the cars, is it possible that the other American traitor -- the mysterious "editor" of Inspire, Yayha Ibrahim, also killed?

Update by Rusty: Wow, I can't thank Michelle Malkin enough for the lengthy post praising our work over the years counterring Khan's online radicalization message. Thanks Michelle!

Update by Rusty: Live press conference at WH.

Not a lot of details, so far, but a reiteration of news that came out earlier that we are now calling Awlaki “chief of external operations” for AQAP. In other words, his role wasn't simply "inspirational", it was operational.

Update: Carney says he doesn't have any information on whether or not Samir Khan was also killed.

Update by Rusty: Lulz, CAIR joins the lunatic left on right, concerned over "Constitutional issues" raised by killing traitors who openly admit they are at war with US.

Update by Rusty: Was Samir Khan guilty of being an American traitor? That's the question being asked by the left. But let's see how Samir answered this question in his own words.

Any questions?

Update by Rusty: Here's a good roundup, and here, and another one from Stacey McCain.

And over at PJM's The Tatler, they are running a number of old posts reminding us that Awlaki once was in tight with the powers that be in Washington. How tight? Well, he once trained Muslim chaplains on Capital Hill and lectured on Islam inside the Pentagon.

UPDATE by Rusty: An poster at the top tier al Qaeda linked al Fidaa forum claims he's from Yemen, and that Samir Khan has indeed been killed. Roggio posts the SITE news:

May Allah bless you my noble brothers. The news is true. We say, may Allah have mercy on our sheikh and our beloved, Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed this morning in the area between al-Jawf and Marib in a Hilux 2005 vehicle, along with six people accompanying him...

Peace be upon you my dear brother. By Allah, I am from Yemen. Allah is witness that this news came upon us like a thunderbolt, but we consider him a martyr, because he was martyred along with another person, an American citizen of Pakistani origin who specialized in programming. The news was confirmed to me, and I apologize for the delay, because I was praying.

This is indeed good news!

Bwahahahaaa update: It now appears that Anwar al-Awlaki will never again enjoy the company of a street hooker <---h/t: Will Amos

UPDATE by Rusty: Fingerprints confirmed identities of Awlaki and Khan:

U.S. operatives on the ground in Yemen used fingerprint analysis to confirm that a joint CIA-military drone strike Friday killed American militants Anwar Awlaki and Samir Khan, according to a U.S. government official briefed on the operation....

“Samir Khan was a bonus. It was a twofer,” said Rep. Mike McCaul (R-Texas), who serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security. “It’s a pretty good hit.”

UPDATE by SH: NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly has Sammy down pat
..Kelly said Khan had extensive contacts in New York City and published the English language Inspire Magazine, which instructed lone wolves on how to build bombs at home, and in the most recent issue identified Grand Central Station as a target.

Kelly said Al-Awlaki was focused like no other on attacking the U.S. and Khan legitimized attacking women and children.

State Department: AQAP's Anwar al-Awlaki On The Kill Or Catured List But.....
He Still Has A Right To Privacy

Hellfire denies his right to privacy, what's the big deal?

Via Weasel Zippers.

(FOX News) — While the New Mexico-born cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, is the first American on the CIA’s kill or capture list, the U.S. State Department refuses to release documents about al-Awlaki citing his right to privacy. This disconnect was uncovered as part of the ongoing investigation by Fox News’ Specials Unit into the cleric who is a leader of a major Al Qaeda affiliate

Through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in March 2010, Fox News requested “. . . . any and all records maintained by the United States Department of State, in the passport file. . . .” for the cleric. Initially, the request was referred to Human Resources at the State Department, before a formal response was issued more than a year later, in August 2011. The letter reads in part:

“The Department of State, Passport Services has reviewed your request and has given full consideration to the reasons provided. However, we have determined that your request must be denied. This denial is pursuant to subsection (b)(6) of the Freedom of Information Act. The release of this information to you would be an invasion of personal privacy of another person, without written authorization from that person.”[...]

Both the Justice Department and FBI have refused Fox News’ requests and resisted calls from Congress to explain why the cleric was able to slip through the grasp of federal agents just one year after the 9/11 attacks. On Oct. 10, 2002, Al-Awlaki was held by Customs agents at JFK International airport for three hours until an FBI agent, Wade Ammerman, ordered the cleric’s release, even though there was an active warrant for al-Awlaki’s arrest on passport fraud.[More...]

Keeping screw ups private, nothing to do with Awlaki's except where the ACLU is concerned.

CAIR: Heh, Where's Your Tolerance For Muslim Extremists?

twitter_cair_muslim extremists.jpg

According to the report from the NORC at the University of Chicago Americans have more tolerance for Communists, gays, etc and not for Islamists. Duh, they didn't fly those planes into the Trade Centers or the Pentagon.

The report though, is really disturbing for the response Americans gave regarding Islamists: ZIP

“These figures are a result of people responding to what they perceive to be a serious threat,” Smith said. The survey found in 2008 that when asked if “A Muslim clergyman who preaches hatred of the United States” should be able to speak publicly, 41 percent of Americans said yes. The percentage remained unchanged in the 2010 survey. When asked if a Muslim extremist should be able to teach, 29 percent of Americans said yes in 2008 and 32 percent said yes in 2010. The survey found that 49 percent of Americans in 2008 would allow a book by a Muslim extremist to be in their local library, while 48 percent approved in 2010.
Would Americans allow a book as say Samir Khan's Inspire rag that includes "how to build a bomb in your moms kitchen"? Or lectures from Anwar al Awlaki? I know, those examples are from Muslim extremists, oh wait..

CAIR should be happy with the results, I'm not.

US 'drones' kill 15 al Qaeda fighters in southern Yemen

Did we just strike gold?

Roggio has the details.

Unmanned US Predator or Reaper strike aircraft killed 15 al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula fighters yesterday in an attack in a village outside the terrorist-controlled city of Zinjibar in southern Yemen.

The Predators, or "drones" as they are more commonly called, struck twice near Zinjibar, the provincial capital of Abyan after coordinating with the Yemeni government, a Yemeni military official told The Yemen Post. Yemen's Interior Ministry has denied the strikes were carried out by US aircraft.

The strikes took place in the village of Al Khamila, about six miles outside of Zinjibar, according to a report in Reuters yesterday that stated the attack was carried out by the Yemeni Air Force.

The target of the strike is unclear, and no senior AQAP leaders or operatives were reported killed. Fifteen "suspected al Qaeda fighters" were killed and 12 more were wounded.

Oh please let it be Sami....

Nasser Abdo & the Iraq Veterans Against The War (IVAW)

facebook_ft campbell pos_small.JPG
Damn Mohammed, Viagra, Levitra and Cialis doesn't work

The radicals in the Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) represented Naser Abdo in his conscientious objector's case. Since that time, they claim that they have had no further contact with Abdo. If that is true, then why were there IVAW members on his Facebook friends list?

The Jawa Report archived Abdo's Facebook page and friends list before it was taken down, so we have the proof.

In NYC, the IVAW also read a statement from Abdo regarding Islamophobia at a anti-war press conference.

The guys over at This ain't Hell have been covering the Abdo - IVAW for quite some time and have a number of posts regarding their cozy relationship. The relationship includes a number of anti-war radicals who lived in Killeen and were members or sympathizers of the IVAW operating a coffeehouse called the Under the Hood Cafe.

The links above are worth checking out.

Cartoon Jihadist Announces Comics For AQAP, but....

His drawings of AQAP mujahideen appear to depict djinn (Islamic devil) and a no no to draw human forms.

Check out the eyes:

The comics are suppose to show how wonderful shariah is besides the life of the mujahideen. They are also meant as a recruiting tool to join AQAP to fight in the way of Allah. He didn't submit them yet to Samir Khan for consideration to be used in Inspire #6 Rag. I suggest he ask Sammy to use them in the next issue of Inspire.

Bill Ardolino via Threat Matrix

On the off chance the budding artist/terrorist who announced a recruiting cartoon for al Qaeda on the Arabian Peninsula is reading Threat Matrix, I have some unfortunate news[insert hadiths..ed.....]

Unfortunately, you've committed a grave sin, according to the strict tenets of the Islamic sect of you and your subjects.

In addition - and this may sting worse - your judgment is further called into question for depicting the mujahideen (irhabin) as red-eyed, evil wraiths or djinn in a comic designed to recruit youth to your ostensibly romantic cause.[Continue reading]

Please akhi, submit to Inshallahshaheed (aka Samir Khan) for consideration! The Jawas got your back, honest...srzly..

MI6 PWNS al-Qaeda With 'Operation Cupcake'

Apologies to Red (you know who you are), I thought we knew about this

The cyber-warfare operation was launched by MI6 and GCHQ in an attempt to disrupt efforts by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsular to recruit “lone-wolf” terrorists with a new English-language magazine, the Daily Telegraph understands.

When followers tried to download the 67-page colour magazine, instead of instructions about how to “Make a bomb in the Kitchen of your Mom” by “The AQ Chef” they were greeted with garbled computer code.

The code, which had been inserted into the original magazine by the British intelligence hackers, was actually a web page of recipes for “The Best Cupcakes in America” published by the Ellen DeGeneres chat show.

Written by Dulcy Israel and produced by Main Street Cupcakes in Hudson, Ohio, it said “the little cupcake is big again” adding: “Self-contained and satisfying, it summons memories of childhood even as it's updated for today’s sweet-toothed hipsters.” [More]

Sammy, how about sending me a picture of your cupcake? Just got one from @ahmadkhan11

Anyways, Red's link shows the United States reportedly turned down a similar plan.

FNC Exclusive: New Evidence Suggests Radical Cleric Anwar al-Awlaki Was A Overlooked Key Player in 9/11 Plot

A request from Bubbe to hide his finger

A year-long investigation by the Fox News' specials unit has uncovered new and overwhelming evidence that the American cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, the first U.S. citizen on the CIA's kill or capture list, was an overlooked key player in the 9/11 plot.

In a new hour-long special, "Fox News Reporting: Secrets of 9/11," which debuts May 20 at 10 p.m. EDT, federal investigators go on the record for the first time about their painstaking work to investigate how Awlaki may have facilitated the hijackers in California and Virginia and possibly knew the details of the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Tune into "Fox News Reporting: Secrets of 9/11," which airs 10 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday, 9 p.m Sunday and 12 a.m. Monday, ET.

"It was my feeling that they had to have a network," Criminal PENTTBOM (FBI's codename for the 9/11 case) investigator Jimmy Bush told Fox News in his first television interview.

"There was a mosque and the imam of that mosque was Anwar al-Awlaki, which raised my suspicions."[More]

Should prove to be interesting, and hopefully, they will have more on the Pentagon inviting Awlaki to a luncheon with military brass after 9/11

Sun UK PWNS Anwar al-Awlaki (or Samir Khan?) In Email Exchange

Sammy's Inspire Mag nets results!!

AN al-Qaeda warlord outlined a plan to blitz Britain in an email sent to an undercover Sun investigator.

Yemen-based Anwar al-Awlaki - tipped as Osama Bin Laden's successor - urged a Mumbai-style massacre after being duped by a Sun sting.

Security services were last night studying our dossier on his drive to recruit fanatics in the UK over the internet.

He said in an email: "The options that you have for operations could be pipe bombs, assassinations or using a firearm at a location crowded with enemies."

The last suggestion is a clear reference to the Mumbai massacre in which 164 people were killed when terrorist gunmen went on the rampage in the Indian city in 2008.

The Sun contacted warlord Awlaki - widely tipped to become al-Qaeda's global leader following the killing of Osama Bin Laden - in an email sting.

It confirmed the threat he poses to innocent British citizens. It showed the ease with which a determined extremist can link up with him.

And it provided a grim insight into how al-Qaeda can recruit disciples through the internet.[More]

"And it provided a grim insight into how al-Qaeda can recruit disciples through the internet"..., no shock to Jawas..

As I said before, watch your six Samir Khan/Awlaki, watch your six..

UPDATE by Rusty: Given that the reply comes from "Your Brothers at al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula" and not "Sheikh Anwar", my guess would be that it was either Samir Khan who wrote the note or some other person with AQAP with English as a first language.

As Shahab Media Presents: Qaeda's #2 & Anwar al-Awlaki "Cornhole Lessons for the Mujahideen"

Al Qaeda wants part of the action in Egypt

In a new, rare video message from al Qaeda's number two terrorist commander, Ayman al-Zawahiri calls on Arab armies to intervene in Libya to help eject dictator Moammar Gadhafi before "Western aid... turns into invasions."

The hour-plus long video posted online is the first since Egypt's successful revolution and features the Osama bin Laden deputy in a white robe with the barrel of an assault rifle visible at his side. In addition to discussing the bloody fighting in Libya, al-Zawahiri, an Egyptian native, celebrates the overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and says that the continuation of the North African nation depends on the destruction of Israel and the establishment of Islamic law.

Though al-Zawahiri has released audio messages in recent months, it is the first video appearance one of the world's most wanted men has made in more than a year and half. The video also features a separate segment in which American-born radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, a key leader of al Qaeda's Yemen branch, shows his support for the revolutions while denouncing U.S. involvement in the Muslim world in general. It's unclear when that portion of the video was made, but it's the first time al-Zawahiri and al-Awlaki have been featured in the same production by as-Sahab, al Qaeda's media wing.

Don't have video, yet. The akhis at JihadTube are a bit shy at the moment.

UPDATE: Howie has the file, so if any one wants it email him.

I would download the file... but... corrupted files are for the akhis.

Samir Khan AKA Inshallahshaheed Begs American Muslims to Blow Themselves Up

Come on Sammy, what is wrong with you and Anwar al-Awaki?

Wired: Tomorrow, Rep. Peter King convenes his hearing on the radicalization of the American Muslim community. One group is hoping all the scare talk about the — complete with some serious and “expert” scare talk about all those jihadis among us. But there are some other experts out there with a very different perspective on the subject: actual domestic radicals. Turns out, American jihadis are really disappointed in American Muslims for their utter disinterest in al-Qaeda. And no wonder: more than 99.9 percent of U.S. Muslims want nothing to do with the radicals, new statistics show.

Unfortunately, no homegrown terrorists seem willing or able to testify, either because they’re subpoena-shy, in federal prison or playing a high stakes game of hide-and-seek with American drones in Yemen. They’re a chatty bunch, though, and have left a record of their thoughts on Muslims and their representatives here in the United States.

Take Samir Khan, for instance. Before fleeing to Yemen to edit the jihadist magazine Inspire, he freelanced media support for al-Qaeda from his home in North Carolina via the internet. Khan was quick to bemoan American Muslims’ disinterest in his concept of jihad, playing it off as the product of distraction rather than disagreement.

“It is the culture of hating death and loving wealth,” Khan wrote of American Muslim culture in a post to his “Ignored Puzzle Pieces of Knowledge” blog, using a play on Osama Bin Laden’s classic catch phrase. “They don’t want to fling themselves into the spears of the enemies when they could be playing their PlayStation 3 or enjoying their favorite television show or sport whilst eating their favorite dinner meal.”

It was a sentiment he later echoed in the pages of Jihad Recollections, an English-language screed Khan published with fellow extremists. It became the template for Inspire. “Their Islam is limited to the more ‘acceptable’ parts of the Qur’an and Sunnah, whilst they shun Islam’s more controversial or antagonistic teachings,” Khan wrote of those promoting “moderate” Islam. “We find many of our fellow Muslims in America that are absolutely blinded by the inspiring play of American politics, the comfortable practice of ‘moderate’ Islam, and the denunciation of the Islamists.”

Yes American Muslims, join the Jihad. But note that all the people urging you to martyr yourself for al-Qaeda have never ever ever done a suicide attack. Some have been captured fighting or were killed by American forces, most just get arrested and imprisoned. But go back and look at the propaganda, which of these talking heads ever ended up in a Martyrdom video by suicide?

Answer: Not one!

Samir Khan AKA A Martyr Allah Willing has spent a lot of time glorifying the death of this or that poor Muslim sucker whom they sent to murder their fellow Muslim brothers. Its about time he put his money where his mouth is, Allah willing of course.

It seems that Allah is willing, Samir Khan not so much.

And after that aks yourself why Ghadafi released all those al-Qaeda just when he got really worried you might become free?

US Warns Citizens Against Travel to Yemen: Anwar al-Awlaki Videos Still Remain on YouTube

Warning should also go to Google's YouTube - Remove Anwar al-Awlaki's videos..all of them and keep them off.

The U.S. government is urging Americans not to travel to Yemen and said those already there should consider leaving.

In a travel warning issued Sunday, the State Department said the threat level in Yemen is "extremely high" due to terrorist activities and civil unrest.

Article in NY Times: Radical Cleric still speaks at YouTube, mentioned YouTube's failure to remove Awlaki's videos. "Free speech" was cited and the Times totally misrepresented Smackdown Corps. They were contacted and NYTimes wanted to speak by phone, naturally they declined and asked to converse via email. Never happened.
Instead, just as YouTube relies on its users to provide content, it relies on them to police the content. The site posts its “community guidelines,” which prohibit incitements to violence, hate speech, bomb-making instructions and postings by a member of a designated terrorist organization. A signed-in YouTube user who objects to a video clicks on the “flag” beneath it and indicates the reasons for a complaint by clicking on a label: for instance, “nudity,” “child abuse,” “animal abuse” or “mass advertising.”

In the case of terrorism-related material, objections could fall in the categories “violent or repulsive conduct,” including subcategories for “physical attack” or — in a label added last November after complaints about Mr. Awlaki — “promotes terrorism.” Militant messages could be “hateful or abusive content,” with a subcategory for “promotes hatred or violence.”

Then YouTube reviewers look at the flagged videos with the assistance of sophisticated software. Any video that violates the company’s guidelines is removed, Ms. Grand said.[BS..]

“We encourage our users to continue to bring this material to our attention,” she said. “We review flagged videos around the clock.” [...]

Representative Anthony Weiner, Democrat of New York, a prominent Congressional voice in calling for YouTube to remove Mr. Awlaki’s material (he can be seen doing so on YouTube), said he recognized that the company is “wrestling with a difficult issue” and opposed any government ban, which would be likely to violate constitutional protections for free speech.[target on Awlaki's head but 'free speech'?..ed]

Still, Mr. Weiner said, he thinks YouTube “could do a better job,” adding, “I’d give them a C with an opportunity to improve.”

It may be that the crowdsourcing that drives YouTube, its reliance on the masses, becomes the ultimate answer to violent messages on the site, more than company censors[I call BS..ed]. Anti-jihad activists with names like the YouTube Smackdown Corps patrol the site constantly, flagging what they consider to be offensive material.

At a site called Jihadi Smackdown of the Day (“Countering the cyber-jihad one video at a time”), the links for past YouTube videos of Mr. Awlaki now usually lead to a standard message: “This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy.” [not quite...there are thousands of Awlaki videos, I guess Times prefer to 'out' someone rather than converse through email to get the story straight...ed]

As Rusty said Friday:
If I can legitimately kill a member of al Qaeda -- taking away his right to life, the most basic and important human right of all -- then only an idiot would suggest that I can do this but not have the legitimate right to shut him up.
When I told Rusty about YouTube Smackdown in the Times, his comment:
So, there's like several dozen of us on the smackdown email list. Plus our readers. And of them only the least lazy actually flag.

So, let's say there are two dozen of us doing this, tops. And, yes, YouTube takes down the videos. Say, one a day. That's 365 a year. But there are thousands and thousands of these videos, and far more uploaded each day than the measly one a day they take off.

I give YouTube an F in removing terrorist propaganda videos. Quantity before Quality is their motto. The more videos uploaded the more ads are displayed (yes also on jihadi videos) the more money Google's YouTube makes.

F*ck Shariah 4 America! (bumped)

www.al-buruj.com.JPGWell the good boys at al-Buruj, no wait I PWNED that site, I mean Revolution Muslim, no wait that was effing owned too. Ahh the boys at Shariah 4 America. Their new "more moderate blog" are calling for the destruction of Lady Liberty again.

Which proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same. The graphic is from Yousef al-Khattab and Younis Abdullah Muhammad's old al-Buruj site.

Weasel Zippers:

When someone is pounding Anjem Choudary’s face into the pavement during tomorrow’s protest in front of the White House, please make sure they tell him this isn’t the UK, we don’t celebrate multiculturalism.
Shariah4America.com: In Islam, the public veneration of idols and statues is strictly prohibited. This has forced sincere Muslims to develop realistic plans that will aid in the removal of the Statue of Liberty.

Due to the scale of the task at hand, it is highly likely that rigorous safety checks will need to be employed before the demolition of the Statue of Liberty can commence; thus as a temporary measure, it is proposed that a large burkha is used to cover the statue, thereby shielding this horrendous eye sore from public view as well as sending a strong message to its French creators.

Well now that the morons from Islam4UK have taken over Revmo they are running the same old tired ideas they stole from Yousef al-Khattab because he's the only one with even half a brain.

Our official opinion, even if lady liberty is French, we like her and she'll come down over our cold dead bodies.

F*ck Shariah 4 America.

UPDATE by SH: Anjem Choudary is a no show, cites security concerns[video]. He left out TSA...like in no fly list.

Updated and bumped: See this entry from Patterico.

Update: Via Ed Driscoll there is some evidence that this is just site is parody. I would say look over the site for yourself and, well, given what I know about the ridiculousness of radical Islam, it’s hard to know. For instance on this page they call off a proposed march. But on the other hand, on this page they discuss the Islamic definition for pedophilia, which is death. But then they suggest they do it by impaling them on top of the Washington Monument. Which sounds crazy, but, um… have you ever watched Memri for a week? Have you ever seen respected Egyptian academics suggest that Mossad is controlling sharks? Its really hard to know satire from reality with them.

So, I think the right answer is to classify this as a dubious story. Certainly I cannot stand behind it any longer. And it proves you can’t satirize something that is already ridiculous.

Yeah I know, it seems almost too surreal. For sure the site is designed to "get a rise out of the infidels".

But to be serious for a minute. Time and time again members of this specific social network, and also closely connected to various other branches of this network, have been proven to b e criminals, died in or committed acts of terrorism in the meat world, traveled abroad to join al-Qaeda etc, etc, etc.

That is to say that members of this network and even the network itself has had proven real world results that are not so funny.

We have as much fun making fun of the Jihadis as anyone. But I've an example of those real world results for those who would brush this off as totally ridiculous.

This comes from a member of the same network, this was praised by the members there. I warn you its very graphic, but at this point I think its appropriate to remember how often times this all ends.

Warning graphic image. Do not proceed if you are a minor or squeamish.
Last chance, DO NOT PROCEED.

Protests: Yemen's State Run Media Accuses Other Media of "False, Misleading & Biased" Reporting

Prez Saleh's Salehbots no like truth getting out. Such as a grenade thrown into a crowd of anti-gov protesters.

Sanaa, Yemen (CNN) -- Hurling rocks and brandishing sticks, supporters of Ali Abdullah Saleh plunged into a crowd calling for the longtime president's ouster in the Yemeni capital Friday[...]

At least 30 anti-government demonstrators were injured, according to Abdul Naser Al-Dumaini, an anti-government demonstrator at the scene of a demonstration in Sanaa.

The day before, at least 20 people were injured in Sanaa. Opposition lawmaker Ahmed Hashid said police at the scene did not try to intervene.

In Taiz, more than 10,000 anti-government demonstrators, including 4,000 women, gathered Friday in Freedom Square in a seventh straight day of protests, witnesses said. An assailant drove by the square and hurled a grenade, injuring 22 people, the witnesses and journalists told CNN.

Toppling Saleh & family is gonna be a hell of a lot tougher than what happened in Egypt. AQAP (al Qaeda in the Arabic Peninsula) has Saleh right where they want him...

Out: Osama bin Laden
In: Anwar al-Awlaki

Osama bin Laden is so 10 years ago. For today's young upwardly mobile jihadi, getting American born Anwar al-Awlaki's seal of approval is a must! Here's how one German who is now in Pakistan recalls meeting al-Awlaki as he made the jihad rounds in Yemen:

"During an indescribable adventure in Yemen, we had the honor of meeting one of the true scholars of our time, the Sheikh and the missionary Imam Anwar al Awlaki," Abu Ibrahim said. "We could benefit much from him and spent precious hours with him."
Read the rest. Apparently it was al-Awlaki's idea for the German to get out of Yemen and head for Pakistan because it wasn't safe for foreigners any longer.

Which makes one wonder why (or if) Awlaki hasn't given that same advice to Samir Khan?

Protests In Yemen Lacking Media - Al Jazeera? (Except for JihadTube: Awlaki jihad media in need of smackdown)(1 vid PWND-next..)

bye bye mubarak!.jpg
Image: See Sweet Jane's post

Going to Yemen is like going to the belly of the beast. Thug Prez Saleh, and headquarters of AQAP (al-Qaeda in the Arabic Peninsula). American traitors live there - Awlaki & Samir Khan (aka Inshallasheed) for example. Al Jazeera could interview them, no?, besides the student protesters. Al Jazeera/Google/YouTube is the go to place for terrorist's groups to release their communiques.

Thousands of college students and other people marched on Saturday to Tahrir Square in a peaceful demonstration that originated at Sana'a University, but 'bullies' prevented them from walking into the square where tribesmen and pro-regime fans have been stationed.

The bullies or pro-Saleh protesters started to clash with the anti-government demonstrators who withdrew saying our demonstration is peaceful.

But Saleh's supporters pursued them and hurled stones at them. There were no injuries and the anti-government protesters ended their demonstration vowing they will continue their protest after the Tunisian and Egyptian people.

Early today, pro-government protesters gathered at Sana'a University and when students wanted to take to the streets they clashed with them injuring a student. Also, guards at the university arrested five student protesters.

Napolitano: US Faces Terror Threat From Within Yet Thousands of Terrorist Propaganda Videos Available 24-7 at YouTube

As long as Google/YouTube ignores Awlaki/Taliban/alQaeda/Hamas/mujahideen/nasheeds etc videos on YouTube, except when the heat is on, more and more may become radicalized. Maybe Obi Ones tech czar, former Google CEO Schmidt, can teach YouTube how to use their search function.

WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano offered a sobering assessment of the terror threat facing the United States on Wednesday, saying it was at perhaps the "most heightened state" since the Sept. 11 attacks nearly a decade ago.

Napolitano, appearing before the House Homeland Security Committee, said the threat from al-Qaeda, the group that planned the assaults in 2001, has been augmented by al-Qaeda-inspired groups and the emergence of homegrown radicals in the USA.

Samir Khan and Aussie al Qaeda Buddies Run Free in Yemen

Dag Nabbit to Heck:

An Arab intelligence agent has told the ABC's Foreign Correspondent program that Australian citizens have been seen in Al Qaeda terrorist training camps in Yemen.

Yemen is fast earning a reputation as a launching pad for Jihadi-inspired terrorism.

The Arabian Peninsula nation is also the refuge of American-born radical cleric Anwar Al Awlaki, who recently became the first US citizen to be placed on the CIA's official assassination list.

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) has listed 20 Australian citizens as persons of interest because they seem to have disappeared from the radar after travelling to Yemen.

Now there is new evidence young Australian men have indeed been recruited to Al Qaeda training camps.

For several months Foreign Correspondent has been in touch with an Arab intelligence agent who says he visited Al Qaeda camps and observed several Australians there.

"They have all kinds [of training]. They have Islamic studies; they have training in weapons; they have training in explosives," he said.

"They also have a classroom with computers for training on the internet."

The intelligence operative claims the camps are directed by Anwar Al Awlaki, a man whose other devotees have included the so-called underpants bomber - a young Al Qaeda-trained Nigerian man who tried to blow up an airliner over Detroit on Christmas Day in 2009.

"Their leader is Anwar Al Awlaki; he is their spiritual guiding father; he is second only to Osama bin Laden," he said.

"He knows that the internet is more powerful than the gun."

Well f*ck me a running. Which moron thought it was a good idea to let the editor of Inspire go to Yemen anyway?

WTF are we doing with those global predator thingies? This is a most dangerous and active front group. It needs killin'.

Pakistan: US Diplomat Facing Possible Murder Charges

Where the perps inspired?

For protecting himself during armed robbery

LAHORE, Pakistan – Pakistan will pursue murder charges against a U.S. consular employee suspected of shooting two armed men during a possible robbery attempt, a top prosecutor said Friday as protesters called for the American to be severely punished[...]

A third Pakistani was killed following the shootings when he was hit by a U.S. vehicle rushing to aid the American, who was also in a car, according to police. Officers have said the driver of that could also face charges.

Police officer Umar Saeed said the American, who has not been named by U.S. authorities, had told officers he had withdrawn money from an ATM shortly before the incident and was acting in self-defense. Other Pakistani officers have said the men were likely robbers, were on a motorbike and both were carrying pistols.

Rana Bakhtiar, deputy prosecutor general for Punjab, said the state would pursue murder charges.

Western diplomats travel with armed guards in many parts of Pakistan because of the risk of militant attack. Lahore has seen frequent terrorist bombings and shootings over the last two years, though the city's small expatriate population has not been directly targeted.

In a two-sentence statement, the U.S. Embassy confirmed that a consulate staffer "was involved in an incident yesterday that regrettably resulted in the loss of life." The U.S. was working with Pakistanis to "determine the facts and work toward a resolution," it said.

In the capital, Islamabad, and the city of Karachi, several dozen people burned U.S. flags and chanted slogans.

"Hang the U.S. spy, the killer of three Pakistanis," read one placard.

Pakistan, our allies...
