I only have a few things to add. There was a posting last week from the Islamic State of Losers asking for attacks, any attack in "The West. As well as some statements today advertising an upcoming message, from who we're not sure. Anyway the Jihadis are active at the moment.

The MO is exactly that if the Islamic State of Losers. To these people tolerance, the Canadian are nothing if not very tolerant, doesn't buy you anything except the next push to take more.

There is a suspect at Blazing Car Fur, we'll update this thread later. Remember a nut doesn't necessarily have to be IS connected to be influenced by IS or other terrorist propaganda to act.

We stand with out Canadian friends against the outright and indiscriminate murders committed today.

Identity of the suspect confirmed,

More on this er um, person here at Heavy.com.

Although early reports indicated that the horrific crash might be terror related, government officials have said that Minassian is not associated with any organized terror group, and the suspect does not represent a larger threat to national security.

Bill Bratton, a former New York City police commissioner, had told MSNBC that his sources said the driver was known to police and the horrific crash was being considered a terrorist attack. But other sources are now saying the suspect was not associated with terror groups. ISIS channels have not promoted the attack or taken credit for it.

This is probably one of the instances that makes them say known to law enforcement.
Jonathan Dienst of NBC News reported that Minassian had allegedly researched and chatted online about the Isla Vista killings in California in 2014. The Isla Vista massacre occurred when 22-year-old Elliot Rodger killed six people and injured 14. He stabbed three men in his apartment, and then drove to a sorority house and shot three female students outside. Then Rodger drove to a deli and shot a male student, and then began driving through the city, shooting pedestrians and hitting some with his car. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
There's a lot more on him including that he created a Green Parking Phone Application for Toronto.

Update: The terrorist was a fan of Elliott Rodger, a mass killer who stated he wanted to punish women.

At this point the main motivation seems to be that he was a woman hater and just took the idea for the attack from previous attacks.
