Islamic Terrorist Murders Eight Near WTC in NYC

Little is known at this point besides 8 people were murdered by a 29 year old Muslim. he ran down a bicycle path with a rented Home Depot truck.

After crashing into a school bus he shouted, "Allahu Ackbar!" and was shot and taken into custody by police.

Out prayers are with those who lost loved ones and with the injured.

CBS has the name but I can't make it out. He is a Pakistani carrying a Florida licence with a Tampa address.

Update: His name is Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov.

He is not from Pakistan but Uzbekh according to Heavy.com.

According to a producer for GMA, early on, the suspect was “approximately 30 years old, of Middle Eastern descent, carrying a Florida ID.” Authorities, without giving his name, lately said he was 29 and was not from New York, but they would not confirm where he was from. A review of online records do not show much of an obvious social media presence for the suspect, although he did have a Google Plus page with 2 followers and no photos on it. The page in his name had check ins at two restaurants from 2012, both in Brooklyn. One was a Russian restaurant and the other a Jewish cafe, according to the Google Plus check in. He may have had a Facebook page (which bears only a few photos), but Heavy is still working to verify its authenticity.

Update: Here is the POS DL photo from CBS.

ABC reports he emigrated here from Uzbekistan on a special visa that is given by lottery to those who come from nations with few immigrants to the US.

Update: Better image of the POS.

Even better pic.

Reports now he was shot in ass.

An, um, Diversity Visa?

Update: This person was interviewed for ties to terrorists in 2015, yet not deported.

Update: He is not sorry.

NEW YORK -- The suspect in Tuesday's terrorist attack in lower Manhattan bragged to police about the deadly attack from his hospital bed, saying he would have continued the attack had he not crashed into a school bus.
Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, 29, told police he is pleased with his actions and is unapologetic for the attack, which killed 8 people and injured at least 11. Sources tell CBS News he made "no bones" about what he did.

Investigators also discovered 10 to 15 pieces of paper with writing in Arabic praising the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. One note said "ISIS will endure," sources say.

Damn its too bad he lived.
