Sunnis and Shia Really Not All That Different

The Saudis and ISIS each have their respective versions of the religious police, As do the Iranian Mullahs.

The Iranian regime is intensifying domestic repression by allowing a new paramilitary force patrol the streets of Iran, especially in the capital Tehran, "to promote virtue and prevent sinning" as a pretext.

The new repressive initiative which will be implemented by plainclothes agents will specifically target the Iranian women and youth in an attempt to quell popular discontent and prevent anti-government protests.

Commander of the new paramilitary force "Ansar-e-Hezbollah" announced this week that his forces will conduct "extensive patrols, especially in Tehran to promote virtue and prevent sins." The mission of his thugs will be to harass ordinary people on the streets across Iran, especially women, under the pretext of "bad veiling".

Abdol Hamid Mohtasham promised that "the corrupt and their supporters to be knocked down and cleared from the scene despite nightly and daily attacks from enemies and hypocrites." He warned at the same time that "if we do not address them, they will stand up to Hezbollah."

Yes lest the Iranians or the Saudis or the Syrians actually become free people. Nothing scares Islamists more than freedom. Why is that?

Besides, I've been kind of pissed at the Iranians since the Supreme Asshole insulted the USA on 9/11. So maybe interfering with ISIS and Iran killing each other has a down side?
