A student, who, no doubt, didn't have access to guns, went on a stabbing rampage at a Pennsylvania school:
A male sophomore went on a stabbing spree at his Pittsburgh-area high school early Wednesday, an emergency management agency spokesman said.
At least 20 students at Franklin Regional Senior High School in Murrysville were injured, and the alleged attacker is in custody, said Dan Stevens, a spokesman for Westmoreland County Emergency Management.
Pennsylvania is a licensed carry state. That is, no permit is needed to purchase or own a weapon, but a permit is needed to carry a weapon.
Obviously, the perpetrator in this case had no access to guns, which proves preventing mass shootings isn't a matter of restricting weapons, but a matter of responsible ownership.
