Sarah Palin Makes First 2014 Endorsement : Katrina Pierson for Texas CD32
In her very first endorsement of 2014, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has endorsed Texas Tea Party activist Katrina Pierson in the uphill battle to unseat 17-year establishment incumbent Pete Sessions.
Gov. Palin joins Michelle Malkin, Glenn Reynolds, Rafael Cruz, Sr., FreedomWorks, Tea Party Express, Tea Party Nation, the Republican Liberty Caucus and many other conservative and liberty-minded groups and individuals supporting Pierson.
While stopping short of a full formal endorsement, Senator Ted Cruz has publicly declared that Pierson is "an utterly fearless, principled conservative."
Pete Sessions, the 17-year incumbent in the race, has long been a thorn in the side of conservatives. For the past year, he has been using his position to block the move for a House Select Committee to investigate Benghazi. Sessions is a strong ally of Speaker John Boehner, and has voted against conservatives on many key votes, including Medicare Part D, the Wall Street Bailout, the Fiscal Cliff tax increases, Obama's NSA warrantless surveillance programs, the Farm Bill and the Omnibus Spending Bill, among many others. Last year, Sessions used his position as Rules Chairman to block an effort by House conservatives to defund ObamaCare.

The primary election will be held March 4th.
