Two Women Heading to Syria Arrested in London w/ "Large Quantities of Cash" (UPDATED)

I've noticed a bunch of jihadi blegs of late asking for money to be sent to the "mujahideen". I'm guessing the Brits have just arrested two of their mules:

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at Heathrow Airport as she was preparing to embark on a flight to Istanbul, Turkey.

A large quantity of cash was also seized.

The other woman, a 27 year old, was arrested in north-west London -- presumably at her home.

I'll be eager to see if the money was collected under the pretense of "Islamic charity". You'll recall that one of the biggest charities in Turkey was raided two days ago because it turned out they had links to al Qaeda.

Expect updates with details, this news is literally minutes old.

UPDATE: Interesting details:

Both women were held on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism, the statement said.

Both arrests were intelligence-led and not in response to any immediate threat or risk, it added.
