Excellent: Son of President of S.A. Banana Republic Indicted for Aiding Hezbollah
The bad news: the son of the President of Suriname is willing to help any bad guy for a buck. And I do mean anybody. This guy was already in jail for drug trafficking.
Drug traffickers, terrorists: six of one, half a dozen of the other.
The good news: the "Hezbollah agents" this guy flew all over the world to meet with to help them set up a training base in the jungles of Suriname were really federal agents.
I wonder if federalpoundmeintheassprison is much different than a Surinamese jail?
U.S. prosecutors in New York have charged the son of the president of Suriname with terrorism offenses.Funny enough, I just got through reading a novel in which the dictator of an imaginary country lodged between Suriname and French Guyana did something pretty close to this.An indictment unsealed Friday says Dino Bouterse (BOW'-tur-say) agreed to provide heavy weapons and a home base in his South American country to U.S. operatives pretending to be with the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
