Good News: Over 50 Brits Fighting in Somalia

The BBC claims they've compiled a list of nearly fifty British citizens fighting for the al Qaeda linked al-Shabaab in Somalia. The report actually includes the names of those who attempted to go to Somalia as well, but it also goes on to say that the number is probably far higher. That is, these are the 47 people that we know about.

And it's not just ethnic Somali youths, it's Muslims of all ethnic background. For instance, in this article they choose to highlight a London born man of Bangledeshi heritage:

Four of the men on the list are known to be dead, including men who featured on a video released by the group a week ago.

The video included a message from a young man named as "Talha", who asked Muslims in Tower Hamlets - a borough in east London - to join the jihad in Somalia.

Talha, whose real name was Taufail Ahmed, died in Somalia in November 2012.

The Foreign Office said it had confirmed the death to his family, who are of Bangladeshi origin.

Good news indeed, eh? He's dead.

But not so fast, no good deed goes unpunished in the bizarro world we live in. Local Somalis claim that Ahmed was killed in a firefight between Shabaab and "British and American forces."

So what? Just another dead terrorist. Good riddance.

Well, his family has hired a lawyer to "investigate" the charge. I guess so they can sue the British for killing their terrorist son.

In Britain, terrorists sue you!
