Dzhokhar's Mother: "I Don't Care If He Gets Killed. I Will Say Allahu Akbar!"

This is the problem with fighting religious fanaticism.

In traditional war, both side want to win. At some point, one or both sides decide the cost of war is too great, the losses are too much. It is what keeps countries with weapon's of mass destruction from using them. Because the response is just as destructive as initial assault. Because there are no winners. Both sides will be destroyed rendering the initial strike pointless.

But with religious fanaticism it is different. One side doesn't care if it is destroyed. Its victory and its reward is in its destruction. If they defeat their enemy, they win. If their enemy defeats them, they still win. This is what progressives simply don't understand when they question why Israel can have nuclear weapons, but Iran can't. Because Israel wants to survive. Iran doesn't care if it survives.

The same concept applies when dealing with religious terrorists. They don't care if they die. Death is a reward to them. Killing innocent people has no consequences to them. If they are imprisoned, they will be rewarded in the afterlife. If they are killed, they will reach paradise. They cannot lose. Not in their mind.

From Gateway Pundit:

"If they are going to kill him. I donít care. My oldest son is killed, so I donít care. I donít care if my youngest son is going to be killed today. I want the world to hear this. And, I donít care if I am going to get killed too. And I will say Allahu Akbar!"

That is the difference between civilized and savage. Civilized parents want their children to live long happy, safe lives. Savage parents don't care.
