Boston Marathon Massacre Update

Just a quick update to clarify some of the reports that we got yesterday, some of them turning out to be wrong.

Three dead, 170+ wounded -- some very seriously:

Three people were killed, including an 8-year-old boy, and more than 170 were wounded.
We should thank God, the first responders, and the bystanders who helped in the immediate aftermath of the attack. It could have been worse. Much, much worse.

And about those other bombs they found? False alarms:

Gov. Deval Patrick said contrary to earlier reports, no unexploded bombs were found. He said the only explosives were the ones that went off.
We'll update as new information becomes available.
