Sudden Jihad at San Jose WalMart?

The story suggests the perp, Haamid Zaid, was on drugs. But the fact that the guy was high doesn't really explain the attack, does it? I mean, people get high all the time. I guess a lot depends on what drugs he was under the influence of.

So, why did Haamid Zaid try to kill random people at at San Jose WalMart with his car?

I'm not saying he was motivated by jihad, but since the MSM always discounts the possibility it's something to keep in mind:

Police released the name of a man Monday who allegedly crashed his car through the entrance of a Walmart store in San Jose then attacked customers randomly before being detained by a group of good Samaritans.

Haamid Zaid, 33, of Seaside, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, hit-and-run, being under the influence of drugs and resisting arrest, according to Ofc. Albert Morales, public information officer for San Jose Police.
