Presidential Limo AFU in Israel (Updated: WTF?)
t can withstand biochemical attacks and a barrage of gunfire but apparently not a drop of diesel fuel.Apparently the guy who pumps the gas was on furlough. Cause you know, only in the government to you need a qualified trained individual to pump gas.President Barack Obama’s customized Cadillac limousine often referred to as “The Beast” was photographed on the back of a flat-bed hauler in Israel today. Israeli press is reporting someone mistakenly filled the vehicle with diesel fuel, which caused the breakdown.

The Presidential limo runs on Diesel fuel.
Among the truck-derived greasy bits may be the engine. It's been reported that the limo uses a 6.5L diesel V8 which got me thinking about whether it might be a Tier 2 Bin 5 compliant clean diesel. I contacted Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell who gave me the following response, "We're just not permitted to discuss that at all -- and in fact I don't even know the engine aspects of the car. So it's not the case that I'm just choosing not to tell you -- I don't know and would not be permitted to know."So its been rumored that it runs on Diesel, its been speculated it might run on biofuels as well.
But I went and looked some more.. GM tells GAS.org it does run on diesel fuel.
The most significant detail of Cadillac One (C1), from an alternative-fuels standpoint, is the limo’s 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 engine.I guess only the Juice know for sure.
If it did run on diesel fuel and someone put gas in it, well that's a whole other rods came through the block story. Unless there is some high tech gadget that says Oh no! Shut them all down!
