Man Attacks Wife With Meat Cleaver
Authorities say the man and woman were arguing in front of Fong's Trading at 74 Canal Street around 10:24 a.m. when two firemen from Engine Company 9, Ladder Company 6, which is station across the street, saw the argument and tried to help.She is in critical condition but is expected to survive.The deranged man then allegedly pulled out a meat cleaver and began hacking at his wife.[More...]
