Pakistani Taliban Leader Captured!

We've reported that one of the top leaders of the Pakistani Taliban was dead in the past only to find out that he wasn't, but I suppose that it's a lot harder to get the report wrong if you're actually looking at him as he's prostrated in front of his new cell buddy "Bubba". So, let's call the odds 10-1 that we've finally got him:

Officials say a senior Pakistan Taliban commander who was hiding out in eastern Afghanistan has been arrested.

An Afghan security official said on Tuesday that Maulvi Faqir Mohammed was arrested over the weekend in eastern Nangarhar province near the Pakistani frontier.

Maulvi Faquir Mohammad was made a chief deputy leader in the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in 2009, but had a falling out with the other TTP leaders in 2011 when he suggested the group was in negotiations with the Pakistani government.

Mohammad was implicated in the kidnapping of 30 kids in 2011 and once warned Muslims in Pakistan that shaving your beard was a sign that you were an infidel.
