Sandcrawler PSA: Be Careful Bill

There are lots of spies out there....

February 2009: Mohamed Mohamud begins six-month correspondence with Samir Khan, who publishes pro-jihadist magazines online. They will exchange 151 emails. Khan, an American born in Saudi Arabia, will later be killed in a CIA drone strike that also kills another American, radical cleric Anwar Al-Awlaki.

Nov. 9, 2009: An undercover FBI informant identifying himself as "Bill Smith" reaches out to Mohamud by email to participate in violence against the West. Mohamud and Smith will correspond for months, with Mohamud counseling Smith to be careful online because there are lots of "spies" out there.

Um yeah Bill, watch out dammit.
