Bin Laden Computer Had Tons of Gay Porn, Wikileak Documents
Prosecutors are said to be contemplating entering Osama bin Laden's computer hard drive as evidence in the treason trial of Bradley Manning. The documents stolen by Manning and then given to Wikileaks included information on bin Laden's courier. The same courier which eventually led the CIA to bin Laden's lair. The speculation is that the timetable for the raid on bin Laden's hideout was sped up when they realized that Manning's leak might tip Osama off that the CIA were on to him:
Pretrial hearings in the case against accused WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning are underway, and prosecutors are planning to use newly declassified evidence from the computer of Osama bin Laden in the case against accused WikiLeaks source Bradley Manning, according to Washington Post researcher Julie Tate. What on earth could that be?No word yet on whether or not the judge will have to sift through the several gigabytes of gay pornography found on bin Laden's computer, or if the prosecution will just be allowed to enter only those relevant parts related to Wikileaks into the trial.
One possible answer: After the raid on bin Laden's compound, there was some speculation that the U.S. was forced to move up its timeframe because the man who led them to Abbottabad — courier Maulawi Abd al-Khaliq Jan — was mentioned in the Wikileaks' release of notes from the Guantanamo interrogation of a Libyan, Abu al-Libi, who had apparently been with Bin Laden in Afghanistan.
