Midland TX: Train Hits Wounded Warrior "Hunt for Heroes" Parade Float, 4 Killed

Tragic, just tragic. 25 Wounded Warriors arrived in Midland, TX yesterday afternoon. "The group of 25 was brought in for a week full of events to show them gratitude for their service."

No words...

DEVELOPING -- At least four people were killed and dozens injured Thursday after a train crashed into a trailer carrying veterans during a parade in Texas.

At least four deaths have been reported and at least 17 people were injured, and seven of them are listed in critical condition.

A flatbed 18-wheeler truck was reportedly carrying 24 veterans and their families for the " Hunt for Heroes" parade in Midland when it was hit by a train.

"Show of Support" president and founder Terry Johnson tells the Midland Reporter-Telegram that a Union Pacific train slammed into a trailer that was on its way to the wounded veterans event about 5 p.m. Thursday.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all affected by this terrible, terrible tragedy.
