Congrats MEMRI and thank you Facebook

MEMRI's series of articles on Hizbullah's Facebook activity and its multiple Facebook pages was followed by Facebook's August 2012 removal of Hizbullah and Al-Manar pages; MEMRI's activity against Hizbullah's social media activities has been reported by the Lebanese media.

Following this removal of the previous Hizbullah and Al-Manar TV Facebook pages, and after vowing to return to Facebook, Hizbullah created two new Facebook pages for its Al-Manar TV, as MEMRI reported on August 22, 2012.

Last night, Facebook removed these two new Hizbullah Al-Manar TV pages, as well as a page belonging to Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah. This latter page, while it was created in October 2011, has never been shut down; its removal is a new move for Facebook.[More...]
