Obama Will Cover Legal Costs for Companies Who Withhold Layoff Notices

Ace:

Due to Obama's failure to lead and craft a solution to the debt crisis, the Department of Defense is slated for massive cuts.

These cuts mean massive layoffs in both the DoD and affected industries.

200,000 or more layoffs.

The law requires that companies which know they're going to lay people off provide advance notice of this.

But Obama doesn't want those notices going out before the election.

So he's warned contractors to not comply with the law.

And if that weren't illegal enough, he's also promising to waive the fines the law says they must pay due to failure to notify.

I've also heard that the Department of Justice (cough) will cover legal fees. That is the cost of defending lawsuits and any settlements.

But all the reports I've heard on this speculate that is because of the election. And it is but then again it isn't.

Obama told a lie to the American people on the events in Benghazi as well. There are now reports that the British Ambassador was attacked shortly before Chris Stevens was murdered. Not only that but our consulate had been attacked twice prior.

In the five months leading up to this year’s 9/11 anniversary, there were two bombings on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and increasing threats to and attacks on the Libyan nationals hired to provide security at the U.S. missions in Tripoli and Benghazi.

Details on these alleged incidents stem in part from the testimony of a handful of whistleblowers who approached the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform in the days and weeks following the attack on the Benghazi consulate. The incidents are disclosed in a letter to be sent Tuesday to Hillary Clinton from Rep. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and Rep. Jason Chaffetz, the chairman of the oversight committee’s subcommittee that deals with national security.

So why did Obama lie about the deteriorating security and ascendance of al-Qaeda aligned Islamic militia in Libya?

Sure its the election. But also it ruins the Obama foreign policy narrative all the way around. Obama can't risk becoming the any more the weak horse than he already is. It will embolden our enemies and further deteriorate the situation.

So no matter how much right the American people have to know, Obama has at least two angles here that motivate him to be deceptive about the general security situation and his failures in defending us from Islamic terrorists.

In the same way these layoff notices are about politics and the election. Obama can hardly afford more bad numbers leading up the election. Every bad report supports the narrative that whatever Obama says about the economy, he's not cutting the mustard.

So he's not going to tell you how the economy is going to look in the near future. Manufacturing is down, its a leading indicator. The fed is dumping dollars to devalue the currency at a rate upwards of 40 billion per month. Prices are high and wages are not rising. Unemployment %8+.

In the same way if Obama is strait with America on our economic situation and his failures, it not only hurts his chances for reelection. It also lets the economic cat out of the bag.

He doesn't wan't you to know that its very possible that in the next six months we could find ourselves on the downward slide of a new recession. You have every right to be told the truth so you can make accurate judgments about your future.

Its in Obama's interest that as many as possible are kept in ignorant bliss about these dark clouds. Not only because his ass is on the line in November but because he's gotten America in such a bad way that he can't afford to be strait on the economy. Lest the truth coming out becomes the straw that broke the back of Obama's at best tepid recovery.
