Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei Hearts #Occupy

The Ayatollah Khamenei gave his seal of approval to the #Occupy movement:

The Ayatollah Ali Khamenei – the “supreme leader” of Iran – praised America’s “Occupy Wall Street” movement on Thursday, calling it a reflection of people around the world who are “losing their patience” with the dominance of the United States and Israel in the international community.

Maybe I'm way off here, but if a radical Iranian tyrant notorious for killing protesters in his own country gave approval for a movement I supported, I'd have to seriously re-think my whole position. But that's just me.

Below the fold, let's ask an Iranian protester if the "supreme leader's" comments about the #Occupy movement reflects those of the Iranian people...

Silence is consent.
