Nigerian Islamists Blow Up Beer Garden

First they came for our beer:

Officials say there was an explosion at a beer garden in Nigeria’s northeast that wounded nine people.

Bauchi state police chief Mohammed Ladan said an improvised explosive device went off late Sunday in the city of Bauchi.

Nigerian Red Cross official Adamu Abubakar said a three-month-old baby is among the wounded.
