#OWS Celebrates Holocaust Day w/ Antisemitic Cartoons

To give them their due, there are a lot of people in the comments pissed off about the picture. But, there are also 43 likes and 59 people sharing the photo (as of this writing).

So, is this a one-offer that we who already have a low opinion of the #OWS crowd use as "proof" of what we already "know"? Bad analysis based on a single case rather than a representative sample.

Or is this one more case study added to other cases which eventually form the basis of a statistical trend verifying that, yes, there are quite a few nuts in the #OWS movement?

I'm thinking the latter, but I'll be the first to admit I'm more than a little bias.

But, I do have a reason for why I think a group like the #OWS crowd is much more likely to be filled with antisemites than, say, the Tea Party movement. Because fundamentally #OWS is premised on a conspiracy theory. That theory is that a small cabal of people -- those behind the "corporations" -- secretly manipulate the government and major institutions to their own advantage.

Sound familiar? Just add the word "Jews" to the mix and that, my friends, is the core belief of modern antisemitism.

Thanks to a member of the secret cabal.
