US Troops Under Siege in Egypt

Well, this sucks:

About 80 American National Guard troops are believed to be among the several hundred members of the Multinational Force & Observers currently besieged by Bedouin tribesmen in El Gorah, Egypt, according to the Washington Post. Several hundred armed Bedouin have surrounded North Camp and prevented surface access to the camp for several days. The Bedouin seek the release of five tribesmen imprisoned by Egypt for terrorist acts.
Tell me again just what we're getting from the billion or so dollars we give to Egypt every year?
