Remembering Andrew Breitbart

If there was a central node in the conservative world, it was Andrew Breitbart. All of the things said about him here are true.

I hung out with Breitbart a few years ago. I was no one in particular. Just some minor league blogger who had a couple of 15 minutes of fame. Yet, there he was. Just hanging out.

And a few years later? He remembered me. Emailed me asking some question or another in his don't you think this is so important? way that, to be honest, he thought pretty much everything was.

He actually was as cool as everyone keeps saying. And he actually cared about the things he was saying. It wasn't an act. That's just who he was.

If you've ever met him --- and by now I'm thinking every one has met him -- then you know what I'm talking about.
