Soldier Arrested for Espionage

An Army MP, Specialist William Millay of Owensboro, KY, has been arrested at a base in Alaska for "espionage". I've looked at a number of news reports about the matter and none of them provide any detail into the nature of his alleged act of treason.

The only details I've been able to find are that the arrest was not related to the Wikileaks case and that both the military and FBI were involved in the investigation.

Other than that, nada.

I really have no speculation on this other than to state what is obvious about most cases of treason and espionage. Two underlying factors are common. First, traitors are often motivated by a sense that they are smarter than their superiors and therefore what they are doing is really in the best interests of the country. Second, sheer greed where the traitor knows he's doing wrong but just wants the money.

So, if any one hears any more details I'd be interested in an email update.
