Obama Shows His True Colors: Palestinian State Must Be Based on 1967 Borders

I watched him and noticed he was rather monotone when discussing how the US will always stand with Israel. When he hit the shocker, 1967 borders, he was no longer blah but appeared, at least to me, to relish his words.

To be a fly on the wall when he meets with PM Benjamin Netanyahu tomorrow.

President Obama, in a sweeping address tackling the uprisings in the Middle East and the stalled peace process, on Thursday endorsed Palestinians' demand for their own state based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Middle East war.

The break with longstanding U.S. policy is likely to aggravate the Israelis, who want the borders of any future Palestinian state determined through negotiations. The declaration comes ahead of a meeting in Washington between Obama and visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

"The status quo is unsustainable," Obama said. "A lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples."

Apparently he doesn't give a shite that Fatah and Hamas are soon to be one. Now do you see why the LA Times, during the presidential elections, refused to release transcripts of a going away party for anti-Semite, ex-PLO mouthpiece Rashid Khalidi? Then Senator Obama paid a special tribute to his friend "Khalidi"

Right Wing MK's: Obama is the new Arafat

Knesset members on the Right expressed outrage on Thursday night at US President Barack Obama's call for the creation of a Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps in an exchange of territory for security.

They called upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to reject Obama's plan when he meets with him on Friday in Washington.

Barack Hussein Obama adopted the staged plan for Israel's destruction of Yasser Arafat, and he is trying to force it on our prime minister," said Likud MK Danny Danon. "All that was new in the speech was that he called for Israel to return to 1967 borders without solving the crisis. Netanyahu has only one option: To tell Obama forget about it."
