London: Muslim Supporters of Bin Laden Clash With EDL Extremists Outside US Embassy in London; "May Allah Grant Osama bin Laden the Highest State in Heaven!"

UPDATE by Rusty: This is a double post so I'm moving most of it below the fold, but check out how the UK media paints the EDL as extremists while those protesting in favor of bin Laden are merely supporters. As I've said many times before, I don't know much about the EDL. Most of the anti-EDL rhetoric I've heard is the kind of connect-the-dots guilt-by-association type stuff that you get from Charles Johnson and company.

To be honest, the more I hear what they actually have to say vs. who their opponents say they really are the more I like them. I think the real problem here is that they tend to say it with a distinct working class accent, something the British elite seem uncomfortable with. But, like I say, I may be wrong.

No movement is pure. If you're looking for purity join a religion, not a political movement. The fact is that they are the only ones brave enough to stand up to bin Laden's real supporters in the UK.

And, yes, these guys really do support bin Laden. Look at this screengrab that SH took of the website that organized this rally.

Yes, that's bin Laden. And yes it really says "May Allah grant him [Osama bin Laden] the highest state in Jannah Firdous [heaven/paradise]"

Back to SH's original post.

Yes, these terrorist supporting douchebags, led by Anjem Choudary, were the "Bin Laden" supporters

Not the headline at Express UK but in the first paragraph FURIOUS BIN LADEN SUPPORTERS VOW TO TAKE REVENGE

HUNDREDS of Osama bin Laden supporters clashed with English Defence League extremists today as a “funeral service” for the assassinated terror leader sparked fury outside London’s US Embassy.

Police stepped in to separate the chanting groups amid threats of violence from both sides.

US leaders were branded “murderers” by radicals, who warned vengeance attacks were “guaranteed” and shouted: "USA, you will pay."

Abu Muaz, 28, from east London, said: "It is only a matter of time before another atrocity - the West is the enemy.”[More]

EDL 'extremists' but yet Muslim Against Crusades are just "bin Laden" supporters? Am I missing something?
