Holder: Homegrown Terrorism New Threat

All hail the King of Yesterday!

On the heels of Rep. King's controversial comments about the reality of Islamic terrorism in America, Attorney General Eric Holder acknowledges concerns over homegrown terrorists. However, he comes painfully short of mentioning the one common denominator that is inciting and inspiring these homegrown radicals - Islam.

The Justice Department is still clueless about possible motivation (emphasis mine):

"The threat has changed from simply worrying about foreigners coming here, to worrying about people in the United States, American citizens raised here, born here, and who for whatever reason, have decided that they are going to become radicalized and take up arms against the nation in which they were born.

Holder also added, "You didn't worry about this even two years ago..."

Oh, really? This video is 2 years old, produced in 2008 and released in early 2009:

Yes, Mr. Holder, there was a threat 2 years ago, but your department ignored it. You were more worried about right-wing extremists than radical individuals who kill "for whatever reason."

So close and, yet, so far.
