No injuries reported

Washington (CNN) -- Shots were fired at the Pentagon early Tuesday, authorities said, striking a window of the building[...]

According to another Pentagon Force Protection Agency spokesman, Terry Sutherland, two bullets hit the Pentagon on the south side of the building -- one striking a window and the other hitting the building itself. This is an unoccupied part of the building that is being renovated[...]

Tuesday's shooting follows a similar incident Sunday at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia, near the entrance of Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Both incidents involved unoccupied area/building.

Hmmmm, target practice?

UPDATE by Rusty: SH and I double posted, so I took down mine, but I wanted to add this:

It seems that we may have a terrorist on the loose in the greater D.C. area. Today someone shot at the Pentagon. Sunday someone shot at the National Museum of the Marine Corps near Quantico.

In neither case was any one hurt. It seems as though the person/persons doing the shooting is doing so from their car -- either from a parking lot or from the road.

The powers that be are busy spinning this as "not terrorism".

But, if that is the case, how come one of the Jawas saw signs up in DC yesterday saying "Terror Tips? Call 1-800-xxx-xxxx."

In fact, this seems very much like terrorism. Not very effective terrorism, but terrorism nonetheless.
