Zach Chesser: Look at Me, I'm a Jihadi!

Brachmann has some thoughts on the time he spent playing pattycake with Zach. You know, before he got nailed.

He also has this cool short video documenting Zach's online activities.

Let me just mention that Zach was online long before last year. Ask Mrs. Chesser. She knows what I'm talking about.

Thanks to NWO puppetmasters.

Revolution Muslim has been violating all sorts of copyright laws lately, copying entire articles and pasting them on their website. That's a no-no.

An even bigger no-no? Copying and pasting one of my articles.

But when you hotlink my images? That's just rude.

So, I swapped out the original images and replaced them with these. If you're quick, you can click on over to Revolution Muslim's website and see them both in all their glory.

Blood on Julian Assange's Hands: Taliban Hunting Down Leaked Informants

The man who claims the accidental killing of civilians is "murderer" knowingly and intentionally publishes the names of those working against the Taliban. If mens rea -- state of mind -- is a necessary element for a crime to have occurred, then how could the accidental deaths of civilians in war ever be considered criminal? Yet the intentional facilitation of murder not be?

Julian Assange, accomplice to murder:

In an interview with Channel 4 News, Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, said they were studying and investigating the report, adding “If they are US spies, then we know how to punish them.”
If the immoral fools on the Left want to see what war crimes really look like, they need look no further then the way the Taliban handles "murtad" "spies" and "traitors".

This is what a real war crime looks like. And Julian Assange is guilty of facilitating them for his own anti-American paranoid fantasies.

Warning: Graphic image of how the Taliban punish "spies" below.

An image from a Taliban video showing an 8 year old boy beheading a man alleged to have spied for the US. Remember, the video was produced by the Taliban because they were proud of this.

The results of the Wiki Leak document dump will be the murder of those named as informants. When the die, blame Julian Assange.

Feminists/Leftists: All Muslim Women Have Choice When It Comes To Burqa Wearing

Maybe they should ask Sirin Middya and other Muslim women like her about this:

Sirin Middya, 24, a teacher with West Bengal’s first muslim university Alia, has refused to wear a burqa in classes. This has prevented her from taking classes for the last three months. There is no stipulation about burqa in the guidelines of the Alia University but the students’ union is adamant that teachers should wear burqas.

Middya who joined as a guest lecturer at the University in March, got the ‘diktat’ in the second week of April that she would not be allowed to attend the college if she did not wear burqa. The University Grants Commission does not prescribe any such dress code. The unfortunate part is that students are forcing women teachers to wear burqa. Middya’s argument is that she has nothing against burqas but if she wears one at all it should be out of her free will.
What's wrong with this picture? A Student Union sets the rules? Screw that. Good on her for refusing and standing her ground.

Heartache: Congress realizes US counter-terror aid to Yemen diverted to northern genocide

They did an inventory and there's some equipment missing already. This is a very good report, all in all. If the US gives President Saleh helicopters, he'll use them today on the Southern protesters and tomorrow on civilians in the northern Sa'ada war zone. In 2005, the Yemeni military strafed villages from gunships, causing numerous random casualties and they haven't grown a heart or a conscience since, as evidenced by widespread bombing of cities and villages in the last round of the Sa'ada War. More Yemen stuff here.

Hmm, I wonder how he will explain this away on his online conference this weekend with convicted terrorist Omar the goat humping Bakri Mohammed. Maybe he can refer to the goat humpers pole dancing daughter Yasmin Fastok (image probably not safe for work) or sumptin.

Barney Frank Demands Senior Ferry Discount

(Suffolk County, Long Island, New York) It seems that Congressman Barney Frank (D-MA) caused a scene last Friday when he loudly demanded the $1 senior discount for the ferry ride to Fire Island's popular gay destination called The Pines.

Frank was turned down by ticket clerks at the dock in Sayville because he didn't have the required Suffolk County Senior Citizens ID.

A witness reports, "Frank made such a drama over the senior rate that I contemplated offering him the dollar to cool down the situation."

I suggest that this snapshot into the character and personality of Rep. Frank indicates a level of pettiness customarily not seen in mature adults nor political leaders. Frankly, creating a scene over a lousy dollar is silly, even more so considering the congressman pockets wads from his position in the government.

Of course, there's the alternative possibility that the disputed discount wasn't the real motivation for Rep. Frank to create a scene. Maybe he wanted to cause a loud ruckus just to let everyone on Fire Island know that Mr. Bigshot is coming.

Update by Allahakchew aka SH. V of K linked to this video...seems to fit Barney Frank perfectly, at least I think so. Besides, Storm Troopers are in it so.....hahahaha

Can the Web Predict Future Attacks?

Shachtman has a lengthy post about a company which is hoping to use a software program to analyze trends from "chatter" and help the intelligence community predict events. Go read it.

I'm skeptical about the intel value of "chatter". Not that it has zero value, but that given the number of false positives hit by so-called "chatter" analysis the value of such predictive models goes way down.

And like any statistical model based in regression, it's easy to pick out the correct predictions post hoc and say, see, the model predicted this event would occur. While, at the same time, the models also predicted scores of other events that never came to pass.

The goal of the data mining of "chatter" is to allocate limited resources more strategically. To get intelligence and law enforcement agents to spend their time in the most productive ways. But I've yet to be shown evidence that computer programs are actually doing this.

Of course, I don't see what goes on inside the black box of intelligence agencies, but the modeling seems to be similar to other trend predicting programs such as Google Trends. Which, again, tend not to predict events very well.

For instance, it would be difficult to find a causal stream going from "chatter" about a Jessica Alba nipple slip to that nipple slip. The cause and effect relationship is backwards.

And again, given the viral nature of ideas being spread across online social networks, most of which turn out to be nothing, then it's hard to imagine the usefulness of such tools for prevention.

But then again, those familiar with regression lines know that once you have post hoc knowledge of the models robustness and validity then you can always trace that line back to something close to origin. Such knowledge isn't very helpful in predicting events, but might be very useful in identifying individuals or networks which had prior knowledge of such an event occurring.

And that is useful information, but might be as good as it gets.

Evidence Ties Manning To Afghan WikiLeaks

No surprise here....he was the one who provided the so called "Collateral Damage" video to Assh^le err Assange of WikiLeaks which Jawa Report quickly debunked

WASHINGTON—Investigators have found concrete evidence linking Pfc. Bradley Manning with the leak of classified Afghanistan war reports, a defense official said.

A search of the computers used by Pfc. Manning yielded evidence he had downloaded the Afghanistan war logs, which span from 2004 until 2009, the official said. It's not clear precisely what that evidence is.

The investigation is also looking at who might have helped Pfc. Manning provide the documents to WikiLeaks, a web-based group that earlier this week released 76,000 secret reports from Afghanistan.

Because of the focus on civilians who helped Pfc. Manning, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Justice Department have been brought into aid the investigation lead by the Army Criminal Investigation Command.

Defense officials are also combing through Pfc. Manning's computers in a bid to figure out what other material he may have stolen as they try to anticipate what other material WikiLeaks may have.

WikiLeaks says it has at least 15,000 more Afghanistan documents the group withheld until some details could be redacted.

Redacted my arse. The ones they have released names Afghans who have aided the allied forces. Now their lives and their families lives are in danger. Way to go assmaggots.

Duh: WikiLeaks Founder Anti-War Nut, Not Journalist
Noted Liar and Conspiracy Theorist Leaks Documents Which Shock and Awe No One

Update: Leakers, Publishers May Have Blood on Hands, Mullen Says Liberals in comments will disagree and say Manning and Assh^le err Assange did a patriotic service. I tend to disagree, they didn't give a damn about others lives just their twisted logic on the war against radical Islamists. Manning downloaded documents, with the help of someone yet to be named, to further the far lefts claim of occupying a country by the U.S. He gave those to Assh^ole err Assange to distribute to the media. Patted himself on the back and bingo....he was named.

To the leftists, rainbows and lollipops will heal all. If we just show we care the Taliban/alQaeda will back off. Wake up and smell reality people....otherwise you will loose your head..........literally, we have posted several videos of those opposed to Radical Islam who had their heads chopped or worse sawed off by a young child. Afghanistan: Body of 2nd Missing US Navy Sailor Recovered

In Eastern Afghanistan.

Thanks to all who alerted us.

KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — A second U.S. Navy sailor who went missing in a dangerous part of eastern Afghanistan was found dead and his body recovered, a senior U.S. military official and Afghan officials said Thursday.

The family of Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove, a 25-year-old from the Seattle area, had been notified of his death, the U.S. military official said on condition of anonymity, because he was not authorized to disclose the information.

Newlove and Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin McNeley went missing last Friday in Logar province. NATO recovered the body of McNeley — a 30-year-old father of two from Wheatridge, Colorado — in the area Sunday.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told The Associated Press in Kabul on Thursday that two days ago the Taliban left the "body of a dead American soldier for the U.S. forces" to recover. The Taliban said McNeley was killed in a firefight and insurgents had captured Newlove. Mujahid offered no explanation for Newlove's death.

Condolences to the family of Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove.

RIP Sir.

Fiqh Council of North America member Salah Soltan spews Jewish blood libels at interfaith conference in the Netherlands, is former resident scholar at Rifqa Bary's Ohio mosque

When it concerns the Religion of Peace, ironies and contradictions abound. Take for instance the following video of Fiqh Council of North America member Salah Sultan, who showed up at an interfaith event in the Netherlands a few weeks ago. In addition, he's the president of the American Center for Islamic Research and is the former resident scholar of the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, the mosque attended by Rifqa Bary's family. Here's the video set up:

The FION announced that by organizing this conference it hoped to initiate a intercultural dialogue about the position of Islam and the muslims in the Netherlands. The conference was meant to attribute to the establishlishment a peaceful society, free from mutual suspicion.

At the conference Salah Soltan held a speech about "the relationship between the Muslim and the other between the prophetic model and its implantation in societies".

Soltan is well known since MEMRI published a video clip at the internet. The MEMRI clip showed Soltan, who is also president of the American Centre for Islamic Research, telling a classic blood libel on Hamas TV. In that interview he argued that Jews slaughter non-Jews in order to use their blood for knead matzos for Passover.

A well known Dutch pro-Israeli activist interviewed Soltan at the conference. In the interview Soltan repeated the blood libel.

Only after the interviewer expressed his shock and asked some probing questions Soltan announced that in stead of Jews he was sure Zionists were keeping ther practice to slaughter Christians for Passover. At that moment El Forhani interfered and ended the interview.

The interview starts about 1:26 into the video:

Here is the video of him on Hamas TV back on March 31 invoking the same blood libels (which we covered back in April):

No doubt Meredith "Hijab" Heagney of the Columbus Dispatch is on top of the case!

Paintings with Pigs

Memo to self: Must eat more bacon

"Three paintings depicting pigs have been preemptively removed from a hospital in Leerdam because they might offend Muslims.

One patient, not actually himself a Muslim, made a complaint about the paintings because he wanted to avoid Muslims having confrontations with the pigs. The leadership of the healthcare institution, the Linge Polyclinic, thereupon decided to remove the paintings immediately, Algemeen Dagblad newspaper reports.

The artist, Sylvia Bosch, is astounded. "One week earlier, I had an e-mail from the clinic saying that they were getting nice reactions. After a single complaint, they had to be taken away immediately."

The Linge Polyclinic has stated that the pictures were removed because "all visitors must feel comfortable in the institution".

ATTN Zach Chesser aka Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee's wife Umm Talha

I was fired and am back...well kinda not but hell, had to have header right?

Umm Talha, how does it feel to be a child abuser? Both you and your husband have warped minds using your child in your quest for your crazed ideas to join alShabaab. Thank God your Mother had sense not to give you your passport but that didn't stop you did it? You went ahead and agreed to have your baby used as a pawn for your idiotic husband to use to travel to Somalia.

Think about it, you were sending your baby into a war torn country but you didn't give a damn about it? Why? Never mind, I know, you love death more than you love life. But your baby didn't have a choice, you and Zach used him, I have contempt for both of you. Your child deserves better than this, shame on you.

Also, Zach is weak and stupid, did you realize that? He sang like a canary when found out but he continued on his quest to become a martyr...along with your baby. He would help the FBI if they let him continue on his trip to Somalia. Talk about stupid, what kind of fairy tale world do you live in?

You are an abusive parent as well as Zach. You don't deserve to keep this child, you endangered him for your cause. I didn't hear nada about you in the news. Time to change that. You are not innocent in this case. I know, you and I have conversed on YouTube. I hope to see this child removed from your care, he deserves real parents not a radical Islamist like both you and Zach. You are the filth of filth of parents. I spit on you both.

You can hide your face behind the veil but you can't hide your hate for non-muslims. God help that young baby in your care.

Revolution Muslim Conference: Convicted Terrorist to Speak on Conquest of Washington, D.C. (UPDATED - Zach w/ Younes Pic)

Logans Warning has all the details about Revolution Muslim's online conference this weekend. But let me just point out one thing:

Omar Bakri Mohammad will be speaking. In addition to being banned from ever returning to Britain from his exile in Lebanon, Bakri Mohammad has been tried and found guilty by that country of helping train al Qaeda. Yes, really.

If the Lebanese had any balls they'd find Bakri Mohammad and hang him. But they don't and they won't.

Also, Younes Abdullah Mohammad will be speaking on the same electronic platform as Bakri Mohammad. The last time I checked, Younes was in New York.

An American promoting and helping with a conference featuring a convicted terrorist. What's wrong with this picture?

Also, I've started a Jesse Morton Younes Abdullah archive given that Joey claims he's out of the jihad business, Sammy is about to become Predator fodder, and Zach is in jail.

UPDATE: Here's a screenshot of Jesse "Younes Abdullah Mohammad" Morton in front of the White House with his friend Zachary "ZZ Top" Chesser. That's him on the left.

Make sure to read the sign and try not to laugh.

In addition to being bosom buddies with Zach Chesser, now awaiting trial for providing material support to terrorists, I'll remind you that Jesse also wrote an article for Samir Khan's first attempt at a magazine promoting terrorism. One wonders if Samir called on his old buddy to help him his official al Qaeda version of it?

Is it just me, or does Jesse like to hang out with terrorists?

UPDATE: Oh, I almost forgot about this. ADL:

Abdullah Muhammad has appeared in several RM and Islamic Thinkers Society (ITS) events with Mohamed Mahmood Alessa and Carlos Eduardo Almonte, two New Jersey men who have been arrested on terror-related charges. In RM's video of the its protest at the 2010 Israel Day Parade in New York, Alessa is seen standing next to Abdullah Muhammad while he reads RM's condemnation of Israel. In another instance, on December 28, 2008, Abdullah Muhammad and Almonte appeared together at an ITS protest outside the Israeli consulate in New York. Standing next to Abdullah Muhammad, Almonte held a sign that read "Death to all (zionist) juice."

Samir Khan: American al Qaeda

If you don't know the full story of how Samir Khan fled Charlotte and eventually wound up becoming al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula's very own Adam Gadahn, go read read this article at Front Page mag. There's even a blurb about Khan's death threat against me and my family.

What I'm still scratching my head about is this: Khan was a well known jihad and al Qaeda supporter for years. Yet, someone somewhere made the choice not to put him on the no fly list.

Zachary Chesser was a much less well known jihad supporter, who only became radical in the last couple of years. In fact, he played second fiddle to people like Khan and Yousef al-Khattab. He was little fish, Khan was clearly big fish.

But Chesser was on the no fly list, and Khan wasn't.

Had Chesser's plans worked out, he would have landed himself in Somalia where he would have joined the al Shabaab and helped fight African Union troops. Maybe he would have plotted in the long term to help bring down the Great Satan, but that would have been well down the road.

But Khan has now joined al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. The same group that just tried to blow up an airliner over Detroit.

Both groups are dangerous, but al Qaeda clearly is the greater threat.

When I first heard some months ago that Khan had fled the country, I was livid. But now learning that Zachary Chesser wasn't allowed to leave, I'm just left scratching my head and wondering WTF?

Destruction of Jewish Temple Continues Unabated by Palis

Palis continuing the work where the Romans left off. For those out of the loop, the background is this: Palestinians and a large number of Muslims deny that Jerusalem was ever a Jewish city. No, really. These people are that retarded.

So, they have a vested interest in erasing any and all archaeological evidence that the Temple was built by Jews.

Israel Matzav:

Segal said that Waqf attempts to conceal the work but that it is not hard to see what is happening these days on the Temple Mount. "The Waqf works are constant, we see tractors going to and fro carrying earth. The work is taking place near the Dome of the Rock, exactly in the place between where our Holy Temple's courtyard and the Altar used to stand. The Waqf claims they are doing pavement work there, or so they advertise in the news sites, but in practice they surrounded themselves in white burlap and we see there is scaffolding. I suppose that for paving works there should be no need for scaffolding."
And such "improvements" are quite common on the Temple Mount where the Palestinian Authority has free reign to create an alternative and revisionist history in which the Caananites built the Temple.

When al Qaeda Bioweapons Research Goes Terribly Right

Maybe we should be encouraging al Qaeda to develop WMD?

An al-Qaeda cell killed by the Black Death may have been developing biological weapons when it was infected, it has been reported.

The group of 40 terrorists were reported to have been killed by the plague at a training camp in Algeria earlier this month.

It was initially believed that they could have caught the disease through fleas on rats attracted by poor living conditions in their forest hideout.

But there are now claims the cell was developing the disease as a weapon to use against Western cities.

Experts said that the group was developing chemical and biological weapons.

Any one have any nukes we can hand over?

Thanks to Chief

Retired vets help soldiers with combat PTSD through Operation Restored Warrior

June 2010 saw the highest number of combat deaths in Afghanistan, and also the highest number of suicides by active duty and reserve service members. So far this year there have been 145 suicides by soldiers, compared to 130 this time last year. The DOD response to this disturbing trend has been to produce a video addressing service suicide. Oh, and give soldiers professional help from the likes of Maj. Nidal Hasan, the Ft. Hood killer.

But one private organization, Operation Restored Warrior, is working to help soldiers deal with combat-related PTSD. The organization is run by retired military members and has the support of giants like LTG Hal Moore ("We Were Soldiers Once, and Young") and LTG Jerry Boykin (Delta Force CO). Here is a report from WHNT on the fine work of Operation Restored Warrior:

Here's a description of their Drop Zone program:

This keystone program is a 5-day program presented in the Colorado Rocky Mountains on a beautiful ranch near Vail, Colorado for 6-8 US military veterans (active duty, guard, reserve, disabled, retired, and recently separated) who have a common experience in any of the Areas of Operations (i.e. Middle East, Vietnam, Unknown Missions) in past or present conflicts and have a desire to be helped through our Christian-based programs. There is no qualification to be a Christian. Our program and its application is experientially based and focused on the problems that are associated with the effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Combat Related Stress (CRS) on all military service members and their families.

U.S. Navy Investigating Report of Persian Gulf Tanker Attack

Wall Street Journal

The U.S. Navy said it was investigating reports of an attack against a Japanese tanker early Wednesday in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic entryway to the oil-rich Persian Gulf.

A spokesman for the U.S. Fifth Fleet, based in Bahrain and responsible for American forces in the Gulf, said it was trying to get information from the Japanese ship about what happened. The spokesman said it would release more information when it received it.

The spokesman said that the U.S. was aware of preliminary reports that a Japanese tanker had reported an incident, but said the Navy didn't have any further information.

"Something was reported to have happened," the spokesman said.

The Strait of Hormuz is a heavily monitored waterway that cuts between Iran and Oman. As much as a fifth of the world's daily oil supply makes its way through the strait.

Acts of piracy have increasingly become a worry for international shippers in the region, especially along the eastern coast of Africa. Recently, pirates have attacked as far north as offshore Oman in the Arabian Sea

American Hostage in Afghanistan Named: Jarod Newlove

The US Navy just named the missing sailor who is presumably being held hostage in Afghanistan by the Taliban as Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove. Navy.mil:

The Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Gary Roughead extended the following statement on the events in Afghanistan:

"The deepest sympathy of the entire Navy is with the family and friends of Petty Officer 2nd Class Justin McNeley, who died from wounds sustained in Logar Province, Afghanistan, Friday. We appreciate all the coalition forces have done to bring our shipmate home, and we know they continue to do everything they can in the search for Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove, who remains missing. I remain extremely proud of the thousands of US Navy Sailors serving on the ground in Afghanistan today, and the tens of thousands who have deployed to Afghanistan during the past nine years."

Our prayers are with the Newlove family.

Justin McNeley was also killed in the incident. Although the Taliban claim he was killed in the firefight leading to Newlove's capture, his body does not seem to have been near the vehicle. Either McNeley was wounded and later died, or he was murdered. Knowing the Taliban, I'm going with the latter.

Thanks to Vickie.

UPDATE: I've switched out the ISAF poster with one of Newlove from his MySpace account. Our prayers are with you, your wife, kids, and all other loved ones.

YouTube: How to Make an IED

Gee, it only took YouTube two weeks to take down this video showing how to construct an IED. The name of the video was, "Manufacturing an explosive device packaging". It must have taken a rocket scientist to figure out that one.

One wonders if the video had been named, "Music on this video is being used without the express written consent of the RIAA" if it would have taken them that long to respond?

Duh: Wiki Leaks Founder Anti-War Nut, Not Journalist

When the New York Times thinks you're out in Left field, you're really out in Left field. Andrew Exum on that assmuncher Julian Assange:

Mr. Assange says he is a journalist, but he is not. He is an activist, and to what end it is not clear. This week — as when he released a video in April showing American helicopter gunships killing Iraqi civilians in 2007 — he has been throwing around the term “war crimes,” but offers no context for the events he is judging. It seems that the death of any civilian in war, an unavoidable occurrence, is a “crime.”

If his desire is to promote peace, Mr. Assange and his brand of activism are not as helpful as he imagines. By muddying the waters between journalism and activism, and by throwing his organization into the debate on Afghanistan with little apparent regard for the hard moral choices and dearth of good policy options facing decision-makers, he is being as reckless and destructive as the contemptible soldier or soldiers who leaked the documents in the first place.

Remember, Assange called it "murder" when a helicopter engaged what were clearly enemy combatants carrying weapons. He himself later admitted that he had seen the weapons, but chose not to mention that fact in the dozens of interviews and press releases that surrounded the video showing the alleged "war crimes" until after he had been called out by us and the fact that weapons were unmistakably and clearly seen finally made it back to the MSM.

Which makes the so-called "journalist" either a combatant himself as he was showing Mahdi militia men pictures of a US military convoy when he was killed. Worst case scenario, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Bad things happen in war.

As for the van, see above and remember that part of the context Assange doesn't want you to know about is that the van had dropped off the combatants before the engagement. The lesson here is that you don't bring your kids to a firefight. It's sad, but the blame lies clearly with the insurgents.

But even after those facts had been established Assange continued to call for an investigation and claiming that there was a cover up of the incident despite knowing full well that the military had investigated it twice already and cleared the soldiers involved.

Which makes him more than a paranoid anti-war activist with an agenda, it also makes him a liar.

Murdered by the Taliban: Justin McNeley

His name was Justin McNeley. Despite his uniform shown in the ISAF photo, it turns out he was a sailor after all. He was a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the Navy and serving on a reconstruction team. Here is a photo stream of McNeley at a party thrown in his honor by the Patriot Riders just prior to his deployment last year. If it doesn't move you to tears, then you need to turn in your patriotism card. The image above is from the that stream.

Since his body was not found near the vehicle he was driving at the time that he went missing, we can presume that the Taliban took him alive.

It is possible that he was seriously wounded when he was taken hostage and that he died of those wounds later. Or it is possible that the Taliban only needed one hostage and that they murdered him.

Not one willing to give the Taliban the benefit of the doubt, I'm going with they murdered him.

May God bless his family and console them in their time of anguish. And may He punish the men who fight our troops in an effort to establish an Islamofascist regime.

My only hope is that he was able to take some of the Taliban out before he was killed. Rest in peace Justin McNeley. Rest in peace.

We still don't know the identity of the other sailor captured by the Taliban. A guest commenter in our previous thread about him made a good point that the reason we haven't seen a proof of life photo or a hostage video is that it is likely that the Taliban are trying to transport him to a more secure location, presumably in Pakistan, and that they are still on the move.

God speed the warriors who are, even as I write this, searching for our missing sailor. If any one knows his name, please email me.

UPDATE: Not sure which one is McNeley and which one is the missing soldier. The photo below was ID'd in one MSM article as McNeley, but I'm told otherwise by someone else. Kind of hard to tell given McNeley's mustache in all the photos of him, but I think the pic above looks more like McNeley and the pic below is that of the missing sailor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

UPDATE: A friend of Justin's emails and says that the picture above is definitely that of McNeley. Thank you. Our prayers are with you and all those that knew him.

UPDATE: The US Navy has just released the name of the sailor taken hostage by the Taliban: Jarod Newlove. Our prayers also go out to the Newlove family.

More Leftist/Islamists Convergence

Updated by Ronin with video of all 30 douchebags. Minimally, check out 6:00 to about 7:00.

Wow, I didn't know there was any one left at Revolution Muslim who wasn't in jail:

Emergency Demonstration: at 6pm TODAY, Monday, 26th July 2010 outside Downing Street due to the leak report on innocent killing of Muslims by the crusaders. Please Abu Yahyah (079 6157 7221) for more info. Organised by Muslims Against Crusades.
But don't worry MuwahidahM, your time will come (inshallah).

You see, even though the Wiki Leak papers show nothing that wasn't already known -- such as that sometimes civilians die when we target terrorists -- the pro-terrorism forces within Islam use such "revelations" to stir up sentiments against the war. They aren't concerned about civilians. They are concerned with stopping the war so that the Taliban can return to power, and al Qaeda and their likes given free reign once again.

More Political Correctness for "Illegal Alien"

The official terminology for foreign citizens illegally in the United States has been amended once again. It appears that "undocumented immigrant" is no longer sufficient, now the illegal alien trespassers can be called "displaced foreign travelers."

How nice! The U.S. government is referring to illegal aliens as if they were tourists on the wrong bus.

Credit for the addition to the government lexicon can be attributed to Assistant Public Affairs Officer Rita Vollmer of the U.S. Forest Service.

(St. Louis, Missouri) A 26-year-old wife and mother sued the producers of "Girls Gone Wild" for capturing her image on video in 2004 and distributing it nationally without her consent.

The woman claimed she suffered embarrassment and humiliation after a friend called her husband and said something like, "Hey, I saw your wife topless in a video." She asked the jury to award her $5 million in damages.

Unfortunately, the jury ruled last Thursday in favor of the "Girls Gone Wild" producers and the woman walked away with nothing. (more….)

Report: US Soldier Taken Hostage by Taliban

It's a couple of days old, but I don't see much being reported on this. We pray for his immediate release. ISAF:

–Two International Security Assistance Force servicemembers departed their compound in Kabul City in a vehicle on Friday afternoon and did not return.

The unit dispatched vehicles and rotary-winged assets to search for them and their vehicle, and the search is ongoing. Details will be released as they become available.

The Taliban, for their part, claim they've killed one of the soldiers but that they are holding the other one hostage.

The Taliban:

Zabihullah Mujahideen reached by telephone said Saturday the American invaders vehicle got confronted with Mujahideen ambush in Dasht Kala area of Charkh district, Logar when Mujahideen tried to stop the enemy vehicle, the occupants of the vehicles opened firing as aresult one of the American invader was killed in the shootouts, whereas the other American soldier was captured who was taken to an unknown place.

When Zabihullah was asked about the aerial and ground searches to locate the missing American soldier, Mujahid said as the captive was taken to a safe place the search may be in vain.

It would be worthwhile to mention that last Mujahideen captured Burg Dall, an American invader, last year in Paktia who is still in Mujahideen captivity.

The image posted above was also included in the Taliban version of events. But what is odd about it is that I believe it's a poster put up by the ISAF offering a $20,000 reward for information on the whereabouts of the man shown.

So, if the Taliban really are holding this man hostage, then why haven't they mentioned a name? Usually a name is the first thing they tell the world, along with pictures of the man's photo ID to prove that they really have him.

So, I'm a little bit skeptical about the claim. Why don't we see images of the hostage's ID? Or a video in which he's forced to make outrageous demands in return for his life? This seems a bit odd to me, not the normal Taliban fare.

The ISAF has only stated that the two men are missing and that their vehicle was found empty. We also know they were working for a provincial reconstruction team and that they.

Does any one know who this soldier is? I'd be interested in putting a name with the face so that we can include that in our prayers for him and his family as well.

UN Silent as Pali Rockets Fire on Israel

Where's the outrage?

The Israeli army said Saturday evening that four projectiles from Gaza landed in Israeli territory over the weekend.

Israeli media reported that two homemade projectile landed in the coastal city of Asheklon on Saturday, causing no injuries or damage.

Earlier, the Israeli news site Yedioth Ahronoth reported that a projectile landed in Nahal Oz, in northern Israel, with no casualties reported.

Meanwhile, an unexploded projectile believed to have been launched on Friday was found near a kibbutz in southern Israel, the news site reported.

Okay, so the Palis really suck when it comes to aiming these things. You can't blame them for not trying!

Is any one keeping a grand total on the number of rockets fired on Israel from both Gaza and Lebanon vs. the number of times the UN has condemned these acts of terror?

AQIM Murder French Volunteer

The brave mujahideen murder a 78 year old man who was volunteering to improve the lives of North Africans. BBC:

The leader of al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) had earlier said Mr Germaneau was killed in revenge for a failed rescue raid in Mali.

Mr Germaneau was kidnapped in Niger in April. A retired engineer, he was in the region as a volunteer aid worker.

Last year, the group said it had executed the British hostage, Edwin Dyer, and it is still thought to be holding two Spanish aid workers, Roque Pascual and Albert Vilalta, who were seized in Mauritania in November.

No, Obama Didn't Green Light Lockerbie Bomber's Release -- But it Looks like the BP Oil Deal Exchange Theory is True

I'm getting tons of emails about the leaked letter from the US Ambassador in the UK which proceeded the release of the Lockerbie bomber, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi.

The headline at the Australian is misleading. The memo shows the exact opposite from the "White House backed release of Lockerbie bomber." In fact, if you take the time to actually read the article, you'll see the Obama Administration was against the release. It's not until six paragraphs in that we read:

In the letter, sent on August 12 last year to Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond and justice officials, Mr LeBaron wrote that the US wanted Megrahi to remain imprisoned in view of the nature of the crime.
So, Obama and his people in the State Department opposed the release.

This does not mean there is nothing to see here, though. The letter suggests that they saw the release of the mass-murderer as a fait accompli. That if al-Megrahi was going to be released, then it would be better for him to be kept on house arrest rather than flown back to Libya.

The note added: "Nevertheless, if Scottish authorities come to the conclusion that Megrahi must be released from Scottish custody, the US position is that conditional release on compassionate grounds would be a far preferable alternative to prisoner transfer, which we strongly oppose."

Mr LeBaron added that freeing the bomber and making him live in Scotland "would mitigate a number of the strong concerns we have expressed with regard to Megrahi's release".

So, it looks like they knew that Megrahi was going to be released. It looks like they did oppose the deal, but that not much diplomatic effort was put forth to stop it, and it looks like his release was really negotiated as part of a deal for BP to drill in Libyan waters.

It makes the Obama Administration's diplomatic team look like minor leaguers. But the real villains here are those in the previous UK Labour government that seemed to have negotiated the deal between Libya and BP. Some might call that sort of deal criminal.

And to be honest, until I heard about this over the weekend I was inclined to write off the accusations as part of a general anti-BP mood combined with the usual conspiracy theories. But now? Not so much.

Drone strike kills four in South Waziristan(THIRD since Saturday)

Someone is being hunted...unusal that we would see THREE strikes within a 24 hour cycle.

PESHAWAR: US missiles hit a compound in Pakistan's tribal belt Sunday, killing four militants in a second drone attack in as many days in the region seen as al-Qaeda headquarters.

The missiles fired by a pilotless drone targeted the compound in Shaktoi area in South Waziristan, a Pakistani security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told AFP.

“The US drone fired two missiles into a militant compound in Shaktoi and we have reports that four militants have died,” he said.

“One missile landed in the compound and another hit a vehicle soon after it entered the premises,” he said, adding that five other militants were wounded.

An intelligence official and a local administration official also confirmed the missile strike.

A security official said the target appeared to be the vehicle, which had arrived from neighbouring North Waziristan.

“The vehicle was destroyed and the compound was badly damaged causing the casualties,” he added.

The identity of the killed militants was not immediately known.

The intended target was in the vehicle.

Rauf, The Ground Zero Mosque, and McCarthy

A number of people have emailed me today saying I had to look at Andy McCarthy's article in NRO about Feisal Abdul Rauf and the Ground Zero Mosque. After reading it, I'm underwhelmed.

If the point of the article is that the ISNA is an extremist organization who's values are incompatible with fundamental freedom and liberty, then it's well taken and you'll hear no disagreement from me.

But if the point is that since one edition of Rauf's books is printed by the ISNA, then Rauf must be a secret supporter of political Islam then, frankly, McCarthy is acting the part of a Charles Johnson where tenuous associations are proof of some deeper and hidden agenda. It's bad logic, bad argumentation, and downright spurious. And I'm saying this as a fan, generally, of McCarthy.

But what conclusion would Andy have us draw by his lengthy article about the ISNA and the Muslim Brotherhood in the US based solely on the fact that Rauf allowed the group to circulate one of his books -- a book which, as I understand it, undermines the Brotherhood's Islamism? It's like saying that Jimmy Carter secretly supported pornography because he once was interviewed in Playboy.

If there's something in the book which supports, say, the general worldview of an Azzam or a Qutb then let's hear it. If not, then what's the point?

The only other piece of evidence offered in the article of something nefarious is that Rauf once said that Yusuf Qaradawi is the most influential and well respected Sunni scholar in the world. Again, so what? Hell, I've said that. It's a fact. While it might say a lot about Islam and the views of so-called "moderate" Muslims, it says nothing about Rauf's views of Islam and its relationship with secular governance and civil society.

If Rauf supports the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, or even a liberal version of Islamism then let's see the evidence, and let it be something more than this or the fact that Rauf once appeared at a conference put on by some very shady characters -- the same irrational type of guilt-by-association charges which have come from Charles Johnson and have been leveled at Robert Spencer, Pamela Geller, and Stacey McCain.

Rauf, I am told, does support Israel as a Jewish state. Which makes him a liberal in the Muslim world. Again, this says less about Rauf then it does about "moderate" Muslims.

The worst of the accusations against Rauf that I've been able to corroborate is that he won't condemn Hamas. This does not mean he secretly supports terrorism. The best explanation I've heard for this was given by Aaron Klein after he had Rauf on his WABC radio program. Rauf can't openly condemn Hamas because it would alienate too many Muslims, especially those in the Middle East who might otherwise contribute to the mosque's building.

Sure Rauf should come out and condemn Hamas. He's a coward for not doing so. But if condemning Hamas was a prerequisite for a building permit in the US then I should think that scores of college campuses would be forever doomed to languish in older buildings.

McCarthy never really makes any point about the Rauf-ISNA connection. If there is one, then I'm at a loss to find any central thesis in his article. What I am afraid of is that people will use the implied guilt-by-association nature of the narrative about the ISNA's less than admirable goals to fuel the fire of the statists who want to stop the mosques construction through governmental force. I don't want to read anything into what he's saying, or unfairly accuse him of being in the same camp as those who believe that the government should be used to interfere in the mosque's construction. Perhaps he, like me, just doesn't like the idea of the mosque and what it represents but has no sympathy either for those who want the government to pull the plug on it.

But unless I miss my mark, the article is already being used to that very end.

I have no sympathy for Islam. I believe Muhammad was a thief, a mass murderer, and guilty of child molestation.

Religious freedom, however, must mean that people are free to believe stupid and even evil things. Like Islam.

Political freedom means that people must be free also to believe stupid and evil things. Like communism or political Islam.

This means that governments have no right to forbid the practice of religion or political assembly. Both of these fundamental freedoms were in the First Amendment the last time I checked.

If you don't want the Ground Zero mosque to be built I have every sympathy in the world with you. I don't want it built either.

But our personal opposition to religious and political constructs that we despise cannot and should not be translated into government interference in religious and political movements. Freedom of assembly and of religion mean nothing if the majority have veto power over buildings that offend us.

One of the reasons that sharia is evil is because it is not religiously neutral. Christians can become Muslims, but Muslims are legally prohibited from leaving Islam. Muslims may do dawah towards Christians, but Christians are forbidden from spreading the gospel to Muslims. Muslims may construct new houses of worship, but Christians may not. Which sounds to my ears a lot like what some opponents to the mosque are proposing.

As I've said before, the answer to the Ground Zero mosque is not the government forbidding it from being built. Those that oppose it should stop agitating for government action and start raising funds to buy the building next door. Then they should open a museum dedicated to the millions of people killed in the name of Islam starting with Muhammad himself and continuing all the way to Osama bin Laden.

Offensive? You bet. But just as political and religious offensiveness are not grounds for stopping the mosque, the same neutrality principle would protect our museum of Islam.

This doesn't make me a dhimmi. It makes me a lover of freedom, an American. In American we fight words with words, bad ideas with better ideas, not with the force of government.

So, if any of you have any evidence that Rauf is really an Islamist with sympathies for the implementation of sharia law, I'd love to see some better evidence. But even if Rauf was an Islamist, so what? If he was a Communist, so what? If he was a member of the KKK, so what? This is America. If you want the government to outlaw offensive ideas then move to Riyadh. Or Europe.

US drone attack kills 16 militants in SWA

Did the drones just go afterHakimullah?

A US unmanned aircraft fired five missiles at a suspected insurgent camp in Angooradda in South Waziristan, killing 16 people and injuring several, security officials said.
"The locals have pulled 16 bodies and some survivors from the debris of the compound that was hit by the missiles," an intelligence official said on condition of anonymity.
He said the insurgents were using the compound to conduct cross-border raids against US-led international troops in Afghanistan.
"This place belonged to Mullah Nazir's men," the official said.
Nazir is a tribal warlord and an important Taliban commander based in South Waziristan, where Pakistani troops have been fighting militants since mid-October.
Some foreigner were also said to be killed in missile attack.
There are also reports that the hideout could be that of local commander Hakimullah . According to locals the Taliban commander is safe.
The drones continued to hover over SWA due to which the locals could not start the relief activities and there are fears that the death toll could rise.
Updates when we get them...

"NOT the whiteman's b----" Controversy

(Madison, Wisconsin) A local legislative candidate, Ieshuh Griffin, wants to use the phrase "NOT the whiteman's b****" to describe herself on the ballot but she has been told that she can't.

The state's Government Accountability Board on Wednesday barred her from using the language on the ballot and on Thursday she filed a federal writ of habeas corpus seeking an order allowing the wording.
Although state law allows up to five words on the ballot for candidates to describe themselves, the state board classified Griffin's effort as pejorative and unacceptable.

Griffin claims the words are protected by the First Amendment.

Nevertheless, I suggest that Griffin will enjoy a significant bump in name recognition, despite the final ruling on the acceptability of the words.

Fox picks up Jawa story on Ohio Homeland Security meltdown, Omar Alomari firing

Ohio Homeland Security Official fired over resume discrepancy

A high ranking Jordanian-born Ohio Homeland Security official, whose efforts to create liaisons with Arab-American groups came under criticism from some conservatives, has been fired from his $76,000-a-year job for failing to disclose previous employers on his employment application to the agency.

Omar Alomari, 60, the agency's community engagement officer since 2006, had been assigned to connect with local groups, offer advice, collect information and provide a first line of defense against domestic terrorism.

But Alomari, who had testified before Congress on Ohio’s efforts at community outreach, was criticized by his opponents for his outreach to controversial organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Arab-American civil rights organization.

His firing two weeks ago was sparked by an investigation by the Jawa Report, which describes itself as “a weblog comparing Muslims to Jawas, and containing criticism and satire of Islamic traditions and beliefs.” Jawas are the scavengers in the "Star Wars" movies who comb the desert in search of discarded scrap materials.

Alomari, according to Ohio Public Safety records, left a gap of six years in the resume he submitted to Homeland Security. During those six years he was a full-time humanities instructor at Columbus State Community College in Ohio, a job he left after he was accused of having a consensual affair with a student, in violation of school policy.

He was also accused of giving false information to investigators looking into the discrepancy in his resume. According to documents Jawa provided to FoxNews.com, Alomari said he only put down work in his resume that he thought would be of interest to a new employer. Under questioning he also admitted to serving as an “adviser” to Jordan's minister of labor before emigrating in 1979.

Despite the explanation, Ohio Homeland Security officials decided he should be fired from his job.

There was no evidence presented that he compromised security or committed any criminal acts in the conduct of his work.

Efforts to reach Alomari at home were unsuccessful.

SMOKING GUN report on Captain Douche. This is good stuff. Zach was ready to rat out al-Shabab to the FBI after he realized the jig was up. Brave mujahideen, indeed!

Update by Rusty's iPhone: just a friendly reminder that Zach is an old "friend" and who was most recently in the news for threatening Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

Zach played with fire and was just torched..

Zachary Adam Chesser, 20, of Fairfax County, Va., was arrested today on charges that he provided material support to Al-Shabaab, a designated foreign terrorist organization.
Gets better....he used a child to try and flee the country..

According to an affidavit filed in court, Chesser, a/k/a Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee, volunteered to federal agents that he attempted on two occasions to travel to Somalia to join Al-Shabaab as a foreign fighter. After he was prevented from boarding a flight from New York to Uganda on July 10, 2010, Chesser allegedly admitted to agents that he intended to travel from Uganda to Somalia. Chesser had attempted to board the plane with his infant son, and court records allege that he brought his son with him as part of his “cover” to avoid detection of his intention to join Al-Shabaab in Somalia.

The court affidavit indicates that in a series of interviews with federal law enforcement, Chesser allegedly discussed in detail how he has maintained several online profiles dedicated to extremist jihad propaganda. These profiles were allegedly used by Chesser to post pro-jihad messages and videos online. These postings allegedly included an article detailing the prerequisites involved in leaving for jihad, which closely follows the steps Chesser took before his July 10 attempt to leave the United States in order to go fight in Somalia.

SMOKING GUN report on Captain Douche

By Abu Talha Al Amrikee

Bismillah, wal-hamdulillah, wa salaatu wa salaamu ‘alaa Rasoolillah.
One of the biggest problems facing the American Muslims is the fear of speaking the Haqq. So many Muslims are afraid of saying what is true, what is right, and what is most in need of being said. Some of this fear is rooted in the reality of the situation. However, the vast majority of fears possessed by the Muslims in this country are completely unfounded. Based on my experience in growing up with two lawyers in the house and my own run-ins with the FBI, in sha’a Allah I will explain what you can say with no fear of anything except a annoying knock on the door from two people who cannot actually do anything to you (this is written based on United States law).
The first thing you should know is that when the FBI knock on your door, it probably does not mean anything except that they want to intimidate you. Unless they are holding guns and handcuffs, then you should probably just tell them, “Worship none but Allah and testify that Muhammad, salaa Allahu ‘alayhi wa salam, is His slave and messenger, or you will burn in Hell for forever.” Then you should shut the door. They will keep bothering you for a while, but I really advise you do not talk to them and you will see why later in sha’a Allah. They will try to make you feel like you have to talk to them, but you do not.
When I got a personal visit from two FBI agents not too too long ago, I only talked to them because they were talking to other people about me, and I did not want them bothering other people I knew. However, you still should not talk to them no matter what (I was wrong to do so, although I did not realize it at the time).
They showed up around 8 A.M. and they took me to Arby’s for a talk. There was one male agent and one female agent. I forget their names. The male agent started by asking me some basic things about my full-name, my address, and other things that they already knew. These were “ice-breakers.”
The next thing they did was ask me about a whole lot of things which I figured were insignificant. They asked whose house did I convert at? Did I play any sports? Do I participate in any Islamic organizations? How did I meet my wife? Who helped me meet my wife? Etc. I figured that none of these things mattered so I answered them all.
The next thing they did was ask me about my views on various political situations. I did not hold back on much. I cannot remember too many specifics except that they did not like that I wanted Israel to be overthrown.
Then they asked me about things I had actually said. I used to post on the Anwar blog and they asked me a lot of things about that. They also asked me about a video I had made called “Haya ‘Ala Jihad” which they seemed pretty peeved about. They also did not like my username on youtube which was “LearnTeachFightDie.” I closed the account around the same time I found out they were investigating me, but it did not have to do with the investigation. Some kuffar are now claiming that they got my account suspended all over this website.
I remember them asking me about how I had praised the Baghdad Sniper who killed 37 US soldiers. I asked them why they considered a sniper who killed over 100 people including children was a big hero in the United States. They were mad because the Baghdad Sniper killed Americans. I informed them that I was not rooting for the Americans and that the Baghdad Sniper was on the side I wanted to win. I said that their biggest heroes are the people who killed the most Muslims and mine were the Muslims who killed the most of them.
Pretty randomly they asked me about the Islamic Foundation of America. I had next to no idea what it was so I said, “I think it is like CAIR and ICNA?” That was pretty much the end of day one. I looked up the IFA and apparently it is under investigation for terrorism.
The next time they showed up they actually took me to their headquarters in Manassass, Virginia. This time all they asked me about was all of the people I mentioned the day before. They asked about the brother whose house I converted at, an HT brother who organized a football league I played in (real football not soccer), and the brother who introduced me to my wife. I did not think anything of it at the time. The brothers whom they were asking about had nothing to hide from what I knew.
They were very interested in Hizb ut-Tahrir. I kept explaining that HT has nothing to do with jihad, but that the HT brother just used the football league to recruit Muslims who did not know very much for his organization. I mentioned that a masjid in my area was nothing they needed to worry about because it was Tableeghi. However, apparently they investigated Tableeghi Jam’at as they said, “Oh! We’ve looked into them.” The way they said it made it sound like they think the Tableeghis are some kind of front for Al-Qa’ida.
They did mention something about Chechnya and I either said, “I would go there to fight,” or I said, “I would encourage people to go there to fight.” They said, “But they are terrorists.” So I argued with them on that point. Oh by the way the male agent was switched out for a different one in this interview.
At the end of the interview I asked them, “So what do I have to do to make you leave me alone?”
They said that if I let their people go through my computer, then they would leave me alone. Initially I agreed to this, because I had nothing illegal on my computer.
A few days after this interview, or maybe even the same day, I found out that the people whom they asked me about had his house raided by police who blindfolded his wife and took away some things. They did this all in front of his infant daughter, may Allah kill each and every one of them.
Apparently this happened before my interview, but I was so furious with the agents for tricking me into giving them names of innocent people they could harass that I stopped talking to them. They called probably four times, but I refused to talk to them. Even though my computer had nothing on it except what they could already get from the internet I did not even want to let them feel good because they got to look at it. It is a good thing they did not knock on my door again, because I was so angry that I probably would have done something stupid and wound up with at least assault with a deadly weapon charges.
Anyway, the lesson of this story is that you can say a whole lot of stuff that you would not think you could say if you did not know much about First Amendment cases in the united states. Actually, if you want to go beyond the first amendment, you can actually do a whole lot more suspicious stuff under the Second Amendment. For example, you could form an armed militia and call them the “American Islamic Jihad,” and as long as you do not do violate laws that apply even to militias, then you should be good to go.
You can say almost anything so long as you do not threaten individuals or groups of individuals. If you threaten the president then you can pretty much guarantee that you will have a whole lot of problems even if you are not arrested. You also cannot threaten a group such as Congress. However, you can say, “It is obligatory to fight the disbelievers,”, “It is obligatory to kill anyone who persists in insulting the Prophet, salaa Allahu ‘alayhi wa salam,” and, “There is jihad in Filisine, Chechnya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and anywhere else where kuffar are attempting to rule over the Muslims, to harm the Muslims, or to hold back the armies of the Muslims.”
So please stop saying, “Don’t say that here,” and things similar to it. If you say that after reading this you are a coward. You have no guts. You have no dignity. You are someone who lets the kuffar scare you into being silent.
Because of the silence of those who know the truth, donkeys like Hamza Yusuf and everyone who speaks for CAIR are the one’s who tell the kuffar and the Muslims what jihad is. Do you not understand that speaking the truth about jihad is the best way to make da’wa regarding it? Allah explains jihad in the Qur’an so beautifully. If someone says to you, “What is wrong with you wanting to fight war? That is violent.”
Then you say,
And what is wrong with you that you fight not in the Cause of Allâh, and for those weak, illtreated and oppressed among men, women, and children, whose cry is: “Our Lord! Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect, and raise for us from You one who will help.” (An-Nisaa’ verse 75)
By Allah Jihad is a part of this religion and by Allah it is obligatory. Stop hiding it. Stop hiding this obligation from the people. Do you not know that when you see an evil then it has to be corrected. Do you not see the people abandoning Jihad? Do you not see them all around? If you live in America then everyone you see is abandoning Jihad. Fear Allah and speak the truth

Rangel's Long Overdue Charges

Obviously the panel is very racist. Always trying to keep the man down.

A House investigative committee has charged New York Rep. Charles Rangel, the former chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, with multiple ethics violations.

Sources said the committee and Rangel's attorney attempted unsuccessfully to negotiate a settlement to end the case. The sources spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private discussions. A settlement would have required Rangel to agree that he violated ethics rules.

Anybody else have a feeling this isn't going anywhere under this Administration and Congress composite?

Couple Pleads Guilty in Domestic Terrorism Case

(Anchorage, Alaska) In accordance with an agreement with the prosecution, a married couple (pic), Paul Rockwood Jr., 35, and wife Nadia Rockwood, 36, have pleaded guilty to domestic terrorism, including the creation of an assassination "hit list."

If Judge Ralph Beistline accepts the plea agreement, Paul Rockwood will spend eight years in prison and his wife, now pregnant, will return to her UK home and serve five years of probation.

Prosecutors alleged that Paul Rockwood, also known as "Bilal," converted to Islam about a decade ago and began studying the teachings of American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who has professed hatred for the United States and supports acts of terrorism.

According to court documents, Paul Rockwood converted to Islam in late 2001 or 2002, when the couple lived in Virginia.

"After his conversion, and while residing in Virginia, Rockwood became a strict adherent to the violent Jihad-promoting ideology of cleric Anwar al-Awlaki," documents said. "This included a personal conviction that it was his religious responsibility to exact revenge by death on anyone who desecrated Islam."

The hit list reportedly contained 15 names of people who all live outside Alaska. A Department of Justice release indicates Rockwood considered using various explosives, mail bombs and gunshots to assassinate people on the list. It would be enlightening to see that list and learn who the jihadis hate the most.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 23.

Kim Jong-il Rumored Near Death

(North Korea) The North Korean People's Army newspaper has published photos of a bronze statue of Dear Leader Kim Jong-il on the top of Mount Baekdu.

The statue is significant since Dear Leader has previously refused to allow his likeness to be erected as it would symbolize the end of his regime. As such, it's speculated that he must be close to death.

"This statue means that Kim Jong-Il is passing into history and legend in North Korea and I'm more convinced than ever that his successor will be announced soon," said Professor Toshimitsu Shigemura, an expert on North Korean politics at Tokyo's Waseda University.

"A strong trait of Confucianism still runs through Korean society and it would run counter to that to erect a statue in one's own likeness while you were still leader," he said.

At 69, Dear Leader suffers from a host of medical problems so he may not last much longer. A meeting of ruling party leaders scheduled for September is expected to officially name Dear Leader's third son, Kim Jong-Un, as North Korea's new Dear Leader. Heh.

Algeria denies detaining Guantanamo returnee

Anybody seen Abdul?

ALGERIA (Reuters) - An Algerian man sent home from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay has not been detained on his return, an Algerian official said on Thursday, rejecting rights groups allegations he was being mistreated.
Abdul Aziz Naji was transferred from the military prison in Cuba to Algeria against his will, having said he feared persecution. A U.S. based rights group said on Wednesday he had gone missing and could be in secret detention.

U.S. President Barack Obama has made a commitment to close down the Guantanamo Bay prison and any evidence that former detainees are mistreated after they are released and sent home could make it harder for him to meet that target.

"It is out of the question that this person has been detained in Algeria," said Farouk Ksentini, chairman of Algeria's National Consultative Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, a state body.

"I formally deny this information, which in my view does not make any sense," Ksentini told Reuters, though he added that he did not know Naji's whereabouts.

If you locate Abdul please call the Algerian government...

Obama's Terror Supporting Friend To Challenge Israeli Blockade

Remember Rashid Khalidi from the run-up to Obama's ascension to America's savior? I know, there was a long list of media unmentionables, but this one is a terror supporting anti-Semite....or Arab for short. Here is some background from 2008.

The board of a nonprofit organization [Arab American Action Network, or AAAN, for which Khalidi's wife, Mona, serves as president....ed. note] on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist [William Ayres...ed. note] granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens.

The co-founder of the Arab group in question, Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, also has held a fundraiser for Obama. Khalidi is a harsh critic of Israel, has made statements supportive of Palestinian terror and reportedly has worked on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization while it was involved in anti-Western terrorism and was labeled by the State Department as a terror group

Some more of Khalidi here, here, and here, as if the above isn't enough.

So what is crazy Rashid up to these days? Raising funds for a ship to challenge the Israeli blockade.

Rashid Khalidi, a friend of President Obama's active in Palestinian causes, has signed an appeal for funds to send to Gaza an aid ship that would be named after the president's best-selling book, "The Audacity of Hope."

A group calling itself U.S. Boat to Gaza is seeking $370,000 in the next month to send the ship in an effort to thwart the Israeli blockade on the Palestinian enclave controlled by the militant group Hamas.

Rashid was unaware of the ship name when he signed on, he says:

"But if the name is a problem for the administration, it can simply insist publicly that Israel lift the siege: end of problem, end of embarrassment," he wrote, "That of course would require it [the Administration, I guess...ed note] to respond to the systematic mendacity of those in Congress and elsewhere who support the siege, and indeed whatever else the Israeli government does."

Obama's buddy! Awesome group of dudes, Obama.

Israel's New Procedures During War

Rules of Engagement modification? Nope. Tactical changes? Nope. Munitions selection? A little. Pussification? Yes!

Israel will restrict its use of white phosphorus munitions and seek to limit civilian casualties in future wars, it said in a report to the UN secretary general released this week.

"In particular, the IDF has adopted important new procedures designed to enhance the protection of civilians in urban warfare," the report said, adding that a "humanitarian affairs officer" would be integrated in each combat unit, from battalion level up.

Bowing to international pressure again. Anybody else getting disheartened by what originally looked like a sound and unknockable Israeli government? I'm certainly not an expert so if anybody could raise my mood on this, it would be appreciated.

Oh, poor Blogetry!

Oh, the poor 73,000 blogs they hosted!!

Why, the FBI won't take my blog until they pry my cold dead fingers from the keyboard!!1!

1. A site hosted by Blogetry was distributing Inspire magazine from al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula.

2. The FBI asked for nothing more than information about the particular site, one of 73,000 hosted by Blogetry.

3. BurstNET, acting on their own initiative, and in accordance with their own Terms of Service, pulled the plug on Blogetry.

The FBI did not shut down 73,000 blogs, period. But why let the truth get in the way of a good story...

Omaha Mayor Blames Himself For Fiscal Ineptitude

Seriously, what a moron.

Case in point....

OMAHA, Neb. -- Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle laid blame on previous mayors and council members in announcing his plan to address an estimated city budget shortfall of $33.5 million. Suttle said he first learned of the extent of Omaha’s financial crisis on May 15, 2009, when he took office as mayor.

Um, stupid mayor person..... you're like, stupid. And a fecking liar to boot:

Prior to his election as mayor, Suttle was a member of the Omaha City Council from 2005 to 2009.

Arab Poses as Jew to Seduce Woman

(Jerusalem) A 30-year-old Arab resident of Jerusalem, Sabbar Kashur, has been convicted of rape by deception stemming from a 2008 incident when he posed as a Jewish bachelor to get a Jewish woman to engage in sex.

The couple then went to a nearby building and had sex, after which Kashur left the building without waiting for the woman to get dressed.

When the woman found Kashur was not a Jew but an Arab, she filed a complaint that resulted in charges of rape and indecent assault.

In the verdict, deputy president of the Jerusalem district court Tzvi Segal, along with fellow judges Moshe Drori and Yoram Noam, wrote that although this wasn't "a classical rape by force," and the sex was consensual, the consent itself was obtained through deception and under false pretenses.

"If she hadn't thought the accused was a Jewish bachelor interested in a serious romantic relationship, she would not have cooperated," the judges wrote.

Kashur accepted a plea bargain to spend 18 months in prison.

Frankly, one has to wonder about this case. I suspect it's somewhat common for a man to tell a woman lies while trying to bed her.

In fact I heard about one case where a woman sued a man for lying because he said he would take her to Florida if she went to bed with him. The case was thrown out after the man explained that he never said he was going to take her to Florida, rather he said he was going to tamper with her.

Shut Down of 73,000 Blogs a Mystery

Following up on last week's report where the U.S. government shut down 73,000 blogs, the reasons why and who specifically is responsible remain a mystery.

BurstNet, the Web-hosting company, informed Blogetery's operator that service was terminated at the request of some law enforcement agency but wouldn't say which one. As for the reason, BurstNet hasn't made that clear either. In an e-mail to Blogetery's operator, BurstNet managers did say that they had little choice but to terminate service.

"Please note that this was not a typical case in which suspension and notification would be the norm," BurstNet wrote to Blogetery's operator. "This was a critical matter brought to our attention by law enforcement officials. We had to immediately remove the server."[…]

A spokesman for the Recording Industry Association of America said Sunday that the trade group for the four top record labels had nothing to do with Blogetery's shut down. A spokesman for the Motion Picture Association of America said he had never heard of Blogetery.

That the MPAA and RIAA may not be involved makes sense. Typically, they give warnings before they move like this. They also try to make big news out of any enforcement efforts; they want them to act as deterrents.

So, the massive shut down apparently had nothing to do with copyright issues. Meanwhile, everyone involved keeps quiet about who ordered it. Interesting.

US Aircraft Carrier Deploys to South Korea

USS George Washington CVN-73

The USS George Washington (CVN-73) and its task force warships will steam into Busan Port, South Korea tomorrow and drop anchor.

The massive nuclear-powered aircraft carrier has been deployed reportedly as a show of force in the aftermath of the sinking of a South Korean warship, Cheonan, last March. North Korea has been blamed for the sinking.

The George Washington may participate in upcoming joint military exercises with South Korea.

Meanwhile, China has protested the South Korean-U.S. exercises, countering by conducting their own military exercises. Ominously, with everyone rattling sabers, it's getting a bit more dicey in the northeast region of Asia.

Swine Flu Peters Out?

When news of the H1N1 swine flu broke about 18 months ago, alarmists trumpeted loud, long and wide about impending sickness and possible death.

Although a world-wide pandemic was predicted, up to the present it hasn't materialized.

The World Health Organization's emergency committee intends to convene as early as Tuesday to review data and declare an end to the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, Bloomberg News reported, citing two people familiar with the matter.

WHO Director General Margaret Chan must determine whether the swine flu still calls for extra vigilance in the absence of any indication it has become more lethal or developed a resistance to drugs that fight it.

WHO spokesman Gregry Hartl told Bloomberg the decision would be based on the virus' pattern and that no date for an announcement has been set.

Even though it's usually better to be safe than sorry, I suggest that the swine flu threat was overly hyped at the start.

Hassan Shibly Hearts Hezballah

Not a big surprise for a Shia Muslim living in Lebanon or Syria. But what if it was a frequent guest speaker at high schools in New York? Check out Ryan Mauro's article at PJTV

Shibly is not shy about stating that “Hezbollah is absolutely not a terrorist organization.” Rather, he says the group is a “resistance movement” and “any war against them is illegitimate.”

His disdain for America’s foreign policy rivals his disdain for Israel. He gave a speech where he described the U.S. as acting as an imperialist, conquering other countries for their oil. He has linked to an article calling for the prosecution of President Bush as a war criminal. He has twice linked to a speech where a former soldier speaks out against “American terrorism,” saying it is being done at the behest of war profiteers and that racism in the military is used for imperialism. “We were told we were fighting terrorists. The real terrorist was me and the real terrorism was the occupation,” the speaker says. Shibly titles the link “Former American Terrorist Denounces American Terrorism.”

I don't know, sounds like a typical American leftist to me. What say you?

Times Square bomb "would have killed thousands"

New York Post

Had he built the Times Square device the way he had originally intended to, terrorist Faisal Shahzad, would have turned his SUV and nearby vehicles into a fatal spray of razor-sharp fragments and transformed building windows into glass guillotines hurtling to the streets, cutting down hundreds of people walking by.

Shahzad's homemade bomb -- on which he substituted less effective, cheaper components for the more expensive and deadly components he had planned to use -- was left in the back seat of his parked SUV in the middle of Times Square, where it smoldered but failed to detonate.

At the end of June, the FBI built its replica of the bomb and exploded it outside Harrisburg, Pa., to test its destructive force, sources said.

The results of the explosive test were sobering -- showing that Shahzad was on track to becoming the biggest individual mass murderer in US history, several sources said.

Ayman al-Zawahri Needs Attention

Post Chronicle:

Al Qaeda's No. 2 leader mocked President Barack Obama for voicing confidence over victory in Afghanistan, in an Internet message posted on Monday.

Ayman al-Zawahri also said Arab government leaders allied to the West were more harmful to the Palestinians than Israel.

"Poor Obama comes to Kabul and he promises that Taliban shall not return to power ... You poor man, can you promise that your hordes will return safely to America?" a speaker who sounded like Zawahri said in an audio recording
posted on Islamist websites often used by al Qaeda.

Obama made his first trip to Afghanistan as president in March, delivering a rousing speech to U.S. troops and telling them he was confident they would have success in their mission.

Taking Politicians To Task The Nork Way

Kim Jong Il taking the famous Donald Trump line to a whole new level.

You're fired!

North Korea executed a former Cabinet official who was in charge of talks with South Korea, a news report said Tuesday, the latest reported death sentence for a North Korean official over policy failures.

In March, the North executed two senior economic officials over a botched currency revamp that forced markets to close temporarily and fueled social tensions, according to Daily NK, a Seoul-based media outlet that specializes in the North.

It is not unprecedented for the communist regime to execute officials for policy failures. In the 1990s, North Korea publicly executed a top agricultural official following widespread famine.

Iron Dome Passes Final Test

Israel's defense establishment on Monday completed its final series of experiments on the Iron Dome missile defense system, which could [could?...ed note] protect Israeli towns from short and medium-range missiles and rockets.

Iron Dome uses small radar-guided missiles to blow up Katyusha-style rockets with ranges of between 5 km (3 miles) and 70 km (45 miles), as well as mortar bombs, mid-air.

That didn't sound very confident. Thanks to Hezballah for helping spur the development of this system.

Muslims Threaten to Leave Facebook

Unless specific demands are met, 2.5 million Muslims are threatening to leave Facebook. A template letter posted on numerous Facebook pages demands that Facebook prohibit disrespecting Islam and disable all pages that do so.

Also demanded is reinstatement of four popular Islamic pages removed for violations of terms and conditions.

Facebook is given notice that unless the changes are introduced then 2.5 million Muslim users will leave to join madina.com, a social networking site for Muslims.

The letter reads: ‘Although you have attended the world’s best communication skills courses you have been most successful in growing great hatred and hostility between you and Muslims around the world, but seriously this time you have caused an almost unrepairable [sic] damage.’

Syria Bans Veils at Universities

(Damascus, Syria) Syrian Education Minister Ghaith Barakat has banned women from wearing full-face veils on university campuses.

Reportedly, parents requested the measure to keep their children from being educated in an "environment of extremism."

The minister's decree follows a decision last month to dismiss 1200 Syrian school teachers who wear the face veil in class. Education officials, at the time, stressed that Syria was a "secular society," and that extremism is "unacceptable."

Al-Arabiya TV quoted an education ministry official, who argued the niqab was "against academic principles" as well as "campus regulations." He also called the practice an "ideological invasion." Syria's ruling Ba'ath Party denounced niqab-wearing at a recent conference.

Obviously, the ruling will sharpen the divide between fundamentalist Muslims and their pro-Western counterparts.

However, Syria's political friends such as Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah likely will be far from pleased with the veil ban. On an individual level, some fear has been expressed that women attending school without veils may be threatened.

Outing Top Secret America

As reported here and here last Friday, the Washington Post has published "Top Secret America," the results of its investigation of "government documents and contracts, job descriptions, property records, corporate and social networking Web sites, additional records, and hundreds of interviews with intelligence, military and corporate officials and former officials." Dana Priest and William M. Arkin authored the piece.

Actually, today's Post article is just the first in a series and contains data and information regarding the size and expanding nature of America's intelligence community. Tomorrow, WaPo will detail the role of private contractors in the intelligence community and, on Wednesday, WaPo gets up close and personal with a profile of one "Top Secret America community."

Summarizing today's piece, WaPo has crafted the big picture, naming many of the key figures and facilities of the intel network along with discussion regarding the massive growth of the intelligence bureaucracy since 9/11. Billions of dollars have understandably been expended to assure America's safety. However, billions of dollars in the hands of bureaucrats who operate in secrecy has led to internal quarrel-based, some seemingly childish, turf battles and intractable restraints to communication and cooperation.

Examples are cited where lack of coordination and cooperation in the massive and expensive bureaucracy has "dropped the ball." In particular, the cases of the Fort Hood shooter and the Christmas Day attempted bomber are examined.

In a nutshell, it seems WaPo is sending a message to the intelligence community that, "Hey, you are too big, too expensive, too uncoordinated and nobody can check your work." To a greater or possibly lesser degree, I contend the complaint would apply to virtually any government bureaucracy.

Among specific concerns, the piece discusses aspects of security at intelligence facilities, I contend unnecessarily, and it identifies, by name, one contract company doing top secret work and, even though the information may be accessible from a public source somewhere, it now is readily available in the training materials provided to every jihadi and comrade of the "Kill America" persuasion.

Pink Monday

TILBURG, NETHERLANDS (BNO NEWS) -- Hundreds of thousands of people, even from beyond the Netherlands, are visiting the country's biggest carnival to mark 'Pink Monday.' It is one of Europe's largest gay events.

"Be gay for a day" is the slogan for 'Pink Monday'. It all began in July 1990 when the Gay Krant (Gay Paper), which writes for the gay community in the Netherlands, placed an announcement that there would be a party in Tilburg during the annual carnival

Wonder if its anything like being a pirate for a day.

Allah Can't Hear Indonesia

Reuters, again, sorry, but this is funny:

"But it has been decided that actually the mosques are facing Somalia or Kenya, so we are now suggesting people shift the direction slightly to the north-west," the head of the MUI, Cholil Ridwan, told Reuters. "There's no need to knock down mosques, just shift your direction slightly during prayer."

Praying to al-Shabab in Somalia instead of Allah (swt) in Mecca is against the aqeedah. I say takfir to the murtads who have shunned their walla and bara in the presence of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). May the mujahideen do meetballs from their bodies, inshallah, ameen.

Youths Riot in France

(Grenoble, France) Two consecutive nights of rioting followed Thursday's fatal shooting of 27-year-old Karim Boudouda during a police chase after a casino robbery. It's been determined that the police acted in self-defense.

The incident triggered an outbreak of car burnings and violent attacks against police by "hoodlums and delinquents" carrying bats, knives and guns in the largely-immigrant sections of Grenoble.

The immigrant population is comprised chiefly of sub-Saharan Africans and North Africans who suffer from high unemployment and seemingly nothing to occupy themselves on hot summer nights other than drinking, doping and committing crimes.

The mayor of Grenoble, Michel Destot, said police had arrested 19 people for offences including drug trafficking and arms possession. He described the suburb as largely immigrant and poor, with an unemployment rate of more that 30 percent.

"Villeneuve is a working-class neighbourhood where the difficulty is that the population is not mixed enough and people have been weakened by the economic crisis," he told Reuters.

"There has been a rise in the underground economy and a relatively small gang of youth have imposed their law and created a climate of extreme insecurity."

Many French cities are encircled by suburbs plagued by high unemployment, crime, poor public services and drug trafficking.

Notably, after reviewing six different media sources, only one identified the rioters as Muslim youths. Hoodlums and delinquents, without reference to the fact they are Muslim, are the politically correct terms employed by most media.

In conclusion, Muslim youths torching cars in Europe could arguably be considered a form of summer recreation. Years of evidence supports the contention that it's hardly newsworthy. Sadly, it's expected.

However, what is newsworthy is the ominous eventuality that, given enough baby-making time, Muslim youths will be burning cars in North America.

Nigeria: Christian Family Hacked By Migrants

Really? Migrants and settlers?

Raiders armed with machetes killed the family of a Nigerian Christian priest and set fire to his church in central Plateau state Saturday, close to where hundreds have died in religious violence this year.

Over the past decade, thousands of people have died in religious and ethnic violence in the "Middle Belt" of central Nigeria, where the Muslim north meets the predominantly Christian south.

The tension is rooted in decades of resentment between indigenous groups, mostly Christian or animist, who are vying for control of fertile farmlands and for economic and political power with migrants and settlers murderous Muslims from the north.

Fixed that for ya, Rueters.

Afghan Prison Break By Taliban

Did this get very little press coverage this weekend or did I just miss it all?

Here is some of what the NY Times has:

Insurgents used a prison break, a suicide attack and homemade bombs on Sunday to make their presence felt just two days before a major international conference that is to bring dozens of foreign ministers here.

In Farah Province in western Afghanistan, a complex series of attacks inside and outside the provincial prison killed a police officer and allowed at least 20 Taliban prisoners to escape.

The prison break in Farah was a sophisticated and highly coordinated operation that started at 11 p.m. Saturday, when a suicide bomber attacked a police patrol. He was killed by the police before he detonated his bomb, which created confusion and sent a number of police officers rushing to the site of that attack. An hour later the Taliban attacked four security checkpoints in two districts around the capital, said Gen. Faqir Askar, the provincial police chief.

Then at 3 a.m., the Taliban attacked the prison gate, blowing it up while Taliban prisoners used explosives that had been smuggled into the prison to blow the locks off their cell gates. One policeman was killed and four inmates were injured, General Askar said.

Later in the article, it is mentioned that the prison had 400 inmates when capacity is 80. I'm guessing, due to over population, probability of inside help, and word from my riya' akhi on the forums, that the total will be much larger.

Conclusion: Not good.

Fighting The Dhimmitude In UK

MUSLIM drivers are forcing blind people and their guide dogs off buses because they consider the animals to be ‘unclean’, it has been revealed.

Transport minister Norman Baker has stepped in after complaints from blind people that their dogs were being ejected from public transport on religious grounds.

Mr Baker told bus companies that religious objections were not a sufficient reason to eject any passenger with a well-behaved dog.

I guess I just don't understand. And I plan not to.

“Last year a Muslim taxi driver went mad when I tried to get in with my dog. He said, ‘I have to go home now and wash myself’.”

Sheriff Arpaio's .50-Cal Crime Sweeper

(Phoenix, Arizona) Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is undeterred by the controversy over Arizona's soon-to-be-effective immigration law. While the federal government is suing Arizona regarding the law, Sheriff Joe employs a bigger and more effective gun in immigration enforcement.

Although the next crime suppression operation had been announced for July 29, Arpaio said the one-day sweep was executed sooner due to reports of many drug and immigrant smugglers activity through the Vekol Valley.

Arpaio ordered the deployment of a powerful belt-fed .50 caliber machine gun to be on site during the operation to ensure deputies' safety, as there have been recent reports of violence in the desolate desert areas.

“If anyone shoots at our deputies, they are going to have a problem,” said Arpaio in a news conference in the minutes prior to the sweep.

You've got to hand it to Arpaio, sometimes called "America's Sheriff." While activists and protesters clamor for the rights of illegal aliens, Sheriff Joe brandishes a new .50 caliber machine gun. (video)

Report: American Behind al Qaeda Magazine [Updated -- more reports confirm ]

Long time readers know the very personal feud between myself and Samir Khan. He once publicly called upon Allah to kill me and terrorize my family. We have a whole archive dedicated to the former Charlotte, NC based eHadi (see "Inshallahshaheed" in the left column).

Last week we reported that Sammy was behind the new al Qaeda magazine. Now the MSM is picking up on the meme. NY Daily News:

Intelligence officials see chilling similarities between a militant blog Samir Khan produced and the Internet-based magazine Inspire.

Khan landed on intelligence radar in 2007, when he was 21, after posting an Osama Bin Laden screed to the blog he maintained from his parents' basement.

Fast forward to last month, when Al Qaeda put out Inspire, with the message that U.S. military action in the Arab world must be avenged.

The packaging spooked experts with its potential for recruiting Western youth. It also seemed familiar to those who track militants, like the Jawa Report blog. Read the rest

For what it's worth, we've been going back and forth with Samir since 2005. When I learned that Samir had fled the country I was perterbed, to say the least. But now I'm at peace with the decision that some pencil necked bureaucrat let Khan board an airplane, even though he was the central node in al Qaeda's online English nexus.

Now that he's officially working for al Qaeda and he's abroad that means that he finally fits the technical definition of a traitor.

And that means Predator drones.

Hey Sammy: keep an eye skyward.

UPDATE: NPR confirms some details:

Now intelligence sources tell NPR they think the magazine is more likely the handiwork of another American -- a young man named Samir Khan.
They also note Sammy went to Yemen to "study Arabic" and then "disappeared". I bet no one saw that coming....

CNN also confirms, but their source is someone in law enforcement. Neither one, of course, cites Jawa or SOFIR.

WaPo Outing America's Secrets?

From the Office of the Director of National Intelligence:

Early next week, the Washington Post is expected to publish articles and an interactive website that will likely contain a compendium of government agencies and contractors allegedly conducting Top Secret work. The website is expected to enable users to see the relationships between the federal government and its contractors, describe the type of work the contractors perform, and may identify many government and contractor facility locations.

Publication is expected starting July 19, 2010 with additional articles published thereafter. We request that all ODNI contractors remind all cleared employees of their responsibility to protect classified information and relationships, and to abide by contractual agreements regarding non-publicity. Employees should be reminded that they must neither confirm nor deny information contained in this, or any, media publication, and that the publication of this website does not constitute a change in any current ODNI classifications. They should also be reminded that if approached and asked to discuss their work by media or unauthorized people, they should report the interactions to their appropriate security officer.

Foreign intelligence services, terrorist organizations, and criminal elements will have potential interest in this kind of information. It is important that companies review their overall counterintelligence posture to ensure that it is appropriate. Specifically, we recommend that companies affected by this publication and website assess and take steps to mitigate risk to their workforce, facility and mission, to the extent consistent with your contractual relationship with ODNI. These steps should include re-enforcement of security and counterintelligence protections and steps to enhance workforce awareness. CI and security events related to the publication of these articles and website should be reported through normal company channels to the MSC/Security office. For the time being, thresholds should be lowered to aggressively report anomalous behavior.

If someone could explain why this is happening, please leave a comment. I'd really like to know why someone thinks this is a good idea. For newspaper to publish the identity of those performing Top Secret work and disclose what they are working on must have national security implications.

Meanwhile, be advised that the Obama White House is reportedly "cool with it."

73,000 Blogs Shut Down by U.S. Government

Wordpress blog host Blogetery and 73,000 of its blogs have been snuffed.

Although details are still very tentative, here’s what we know: Blogetery’s entire site has been taken down, and the company’s ISP is claiming that they had to terminate Blogetery’s account immediately after being ordered to do so by law enforcement officials, “due to material hosted on the server.”

“This was not a typical case, in which suspension and notification would be the norm,” Blogetery’s ISP said. “This was a critical matter brought to our attention by law enforcement officials. We had to immediately remove the server.”

Although TorrentFreak speculates that this is part of a recent Homeland Security effort to take down file sharing sites, that doesn’t quite make sense: surely in that case Blogetery would have been asked to pull specific infringing blogs, not have the rug yanked out from under them.

Israel To Disengage From Gaza, Again

Five years after Israel's unilateral disengagement from Gaza, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has proposed a new plan aimed at ridding Israel of any responsibility for the coastal enclave, the Yedioth Ahronoth daily reported Friday.

Lieberman is troubled by the fact that despite the evacuation of all Israeli settlements in Gaza and a full IDF withdrawal, the disengagement was not acknowledged by the international community, which still demands that Israel provide the Strip's residents with their basic necessities.

Okay, that's fine, but how do you keep Hamas from fulfilling their Charter by raining missiles at Israel.

The Foreign Ministry's confidential document also calls on the government to request that a force from the French Foreign Legion and commando units belonging to other European armies be deployed in the region to prevent the smuggling of weapons to Gaza.
Yeah? How is that working out for you in Lebanon? Disengage, and when the first rocket crosses Israels border, declare war and annihilate the country of Gaza with everything they have. Period.

A Chart Worth Several Trillion Words

I've indicated the trends of government spending (red arrows) under respective Congresses. Up when Democrats control the purse, and down when the GOP controls it.

In addition, notice that tax revenues are increasing during the 2000s. And decreasing during the 1990s.

And then look at 2010 - with total Democrat control of everything. Not too pretty, is it? And certainly a vindication of small-government conservative philosophy - that is, statists and leftists spend too much. Period. Congress as an institution spends too much, but as you can see in 2010, it has gotten WAY out of control under this regime of idiots.

These are the facts - when Democrats control Congress, regardless of who's in the WH, spending goes up and tax revenue goes down. The only time period during which we were making any progress reversing this trend was with a GOP Congress.

If there is a better reason to eject the Democrats from the Congress (permanently, preferably), I haven't heard it.

Terrorist Lawyer's Big Trap Gets Her A Few Extra Years In The Slam

Lynne Stewert

A 70-year-old civil rights lawyer was sentenced Thursday to 10 years in prison in a terrorism case by a judge who boosted her original sentence by nearly eight years after concluding she lied to a jury and lacked remorse.

Oh, come on, I mean, lack of remorse? What is she supposed to do? Cry and sob? Actually, that might have helped. What you're not supposed to do is

Outside court after her original sentence, Stewart said she could do the prison time [2 yrs - ed note] standing on her head.

So now she has 10 years. But for what?
She was convicted of providing material support to a terrorist organization for letting Abdel-Rahman communicate with a man who relayed messages to senior members of an Egyptian-based terrorist organization.

Abdel-Rahman is serving a life sentence for conspiracies to blow up New York City landmarks and assassinate Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. Stewart represented him at his 1995 trial.

Oh. That.

Islamic Multicultural Conference - Singapore July 2010

Big happenings going on in Singapore. Islamic big wigs and mucky-mucks from around the globe have gathered for a conference on issues faced by Muslims living in multicultural societies.

Ominously, according to the published brochure, a primary goal of the conference is to find Islamic inspiration to develop and transform multicultural societies through Islam. Nothing in the literature mentions integration with existing societies, just transformation of existing societies.

Tariq Ramadan.jpgSee here for the panel of distinguished speakers. Identified as the convener is professor Tariq Ramadan of Oxford University who readers may recall was once denied entrance into the U.S. because he had ties to Muslim extremist organizations. Since his grandfather reportedly founded the Muslim Brotherhood, arguably a leader in extreme philosophy, Ramadan's ties to extremism would seem to be familial and undeniable.

In any event, Ramadan is now headlining the International Conference on Muslims in Multicultural Societies being sponsored by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. The conference concludes tomorrow.

Interesting Take On Obama

Having moved swiftly toward achieving the very policy objectives he promised voters as a candidate, Obama is still widely perceived as flirting with a failed presidency.

They also give a list of reasons why he is perceived as failing. And to my utter disbelief, the fact that he is half-black wasn't even mention. I mean, come on, he's black....and Kenyan. Heh. Just kidding about the Kenyan thing, but I did hear several times in the last few days that he is black. So obviously it is a big issue for some, like the NAACP (No African American Can Preside). Come on boys, turn your color blinders back on....skin color doesn't shape peoples opinion of policy. Policy shapes people's opinion of policy.

Here is another line I found amusing, actually amusing might be the wrong word. Sad, let's go with Sad.

Obama sees himself as a different kind of Democrat, one who transcends ideology but is basically a centrist. But on the issues voters care most about — the economy, jobs and spending — Obama has shown himself to be a big-government liberal.

Thoughts anyone?

SHOT.... SCORE!!! : US missiles kill 10 militants in Pakistan: officials

The drones are back!!

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan — US missiles destroyed a compound used by Islamist fighters in Pakistan's tribal belt on Thursday, killing at least 10 militants in the first such attack for two weeks, officials said.

A US drone fired at least two missiles into the compound in the village of Sheerani Mada Khel in the district of North Waziristan, a Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked stronghold heavily targeted in a covert US drone war this year.

"At least 10 militants were killed," a senior security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.

"Most of the dead militants are said to be foreigners," he added, but said that their nationalities were not yet known.

Pakistani officials use the term "foreigners" for Al-Qaeda fighters operating in the tribal regions.

Another security official said up to 14 militants were killed when three missiles slammed into the compound.

The area, 40 kilometres (25 miles) from Miranshah, the main town in North Waziristan, is a stronghold of Pakistani warlord Hafiz Gul Bahadur.

He is reputed to control up to 2,000 fighters in the region who stage attacks over the border against foreign forces stationed in Afghanistan.

It was not immediately clear whether there were any high-value targets among the dead.

The missiles were fired at around 6:30 pm (1330 GMT) and militants quickly surrounded the site, barring access to local residents, officials said.

Locals barred from the site is generally a sign a HVT might have been present..... Fingers crossed boys and girls...

Fired Ohio Homeland Security official Omar Alomari didn't inform agency he had worked as top official in Jordanian government

(Sticky until noon, scroll down for more updates)

In the wake of our exclusive Jawa Report investigation into the meltdown at Ohio Homeland Security, which resulted in the firing of multicultural affairs officer Omar Alomari two weeks ago, we have new details about information that Alomari had withheld from his employers (and they apparently were uninterested in finding out).

We have obtained a copy of the internal Ohio Homeland Security administrative investigation report concerning Alomari, and the new details about his work history he failed to disclose in his job application and background investigation (if you can call it that) is shocking.

In the investigative report (#2010-0331) dated June 3rd by Kathleen Bourke, ODPS administrative investigator, she recounts her interview with Alomari (among the causes for his termination were that he lied during this investigation). On page 4 of her report, she notes:

Mr. Alomari wanted to add that he thought it was more important to list what was relevant on his application. He said he also worked for the government in Jordan, but none of that was listed on his employment application. I asked if he listed these other employers on his resume, and he said he has so many resumes that he is not sure.

That's right, Jawa Report readers, not only was Omar Alomari a lying scumbag, but he was previously a high-ranking official in the Jordanian government. Who until his firing had been working as a top official in Ohio Homeland Security, headed by its director William Vedra, who vigorously defended Alomari's character and reputation, telling a roomful of local law enforcement officials that "there isn't a better man in the room". Less than a month later, ODPS opened their investigation following our exclusive report on Alomari's troubled work history.

Any comment on Alomari's "sterling character" now, Bill Vedra?

In fact, in the appendices to the ODPS investigative report, we discover that Alomari had served as a top adviser to Jordan's Minister of Labor Issam Ajlouni. A former agent of a foreign government working in a sensitive position in our homeland security apparatus. And he fails to disclose this information to his employer Ohio Homeland Security -- what could go wrong?

Let me add that Columbus Dispatch has had a copy of this same administrative investigative report for more than two weeks, and has only reported that Alomari had not disclosed his previous firing by a local community college (we'll have more on that later) -- which had previously been reported here at the Jawa Report. Not a word about Alomari's former position with the Jordanian government which he also concealed from the department. No doubt those stories about nasty racist teabaggers keeps the Columbus Dispatch busy.

Maybe it's just my rampant Islamophobia and teabaggery, but perhaps we shouldn't hire former top foreign government officials to serve in our homeland security agencies? Just a thought.

Here are all our back articles on Omar Alomari and the Ohio Homeland Security meltdown:

Democrats refused to allow a vote today on an amendment introduced today by Rep. Paul Broun, R-Ga., to ensure press access to the gulf oil spill. Broun's amendment was a response to numerous reports that government authorities and BP are keeping the press away from areas affected by the spill.

“The media has a responsibility to not only accurately report the news but to keep everyone associated with the spill accountable. President Obama promised transparency, but we have seen numerous examples where that is not the case," said Rep. Broun in a statement. "There is no excuse for reporters and photographers to be denied access to public places unless their life is in imminent danger. This amendment is necessary in order to eliminate any confusion and ensure that First Amendment rights truly are protected.”

Another Insider Hired By Obama

Common Dreams and Billings Gazette

Fowler headed up a team of 20-some Senate Finance Committee staffers who helped draft the bill in the Senate. She was Baucus' top health care aide from 2001-2005 and left that job in 2006 to become an executive at WellPoint, the nation's largest private insurer. She was vice president of public policy at WellPoint, helping develop public-policy positions for the company. In 2008, she rejoined Baucus to work on health reform legislation.

They go on to point out that, not only is Obama's hiring policies insidious and corrupt, but the media and the watch dogs are complacent, and I would offer that the media is numbed at this point.

This story is also a telling indictment of the Washington media. You'll notice that the Obama administration's move was reported by the Billings Gazette, but ....was almost completely ignored by national Washington-based publications. That's not because D.C. reporters didn't know it was happening - more likely, it is because the political press corps in the nation's capital no longer sees this kind of revolving door corruption as even mildly problematic, much less newsworthy. That's how pervasive corruption is these days - ubiquitous to the point of invisible in the eyes of most of the so-called watchdogs.

Tennessee mosque board member suspended after terror support revealed

The battle over the expansion of a mosque in Murfreesboro, TN has claimed one victim, namely one of the mosque board members, Mosaad Rawash, who was suspended from his position earlier this week after congressional candidate Lou Ann Zelenik publicly aired evidence about his open support for Islamic terrorism.

The Rutherford Daily News reports:

The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro suspended board member Mosaad Rawash late Monday in response to accusations about him from Republican congressional candidate Lou Ann Zelenik, according to the center’s website.

Prior to the suspension, Zelenik’s campaign on Monday accused center board member “Mossad Rowash” of being a supporter of Hamas and “violent Jihad and martyrdom of Palestinians fighting against Israel.”

The center later that day issued the following statement:

“The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro was made aware of the allegations against Mr. Mosaad Rawash, a current board member at the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro. Mr. Rowash is being suspended pending further investigation about these allegations, a proper action will be taken based on the outcome of the investigation. The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro as a religious, non political organization does not support any radical views of any kind by any individual or group.
Islamic Center Of Murfreesboro”

The Investigative Project had discovered a number of items and statements by Mosaad Rawash on his MySpace site supporting Hamas:

Another radical connection we have found for the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro comes from the MySpace page of one of the board members, Mosaad Rawash. Rawash is listed simply as a member of the organization, without official title.

- Rawash’s MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/sobhan_allh) contains a pledge for members to support violent jihad and martyrdom of Palestinians fighting the Israelis.

- It also contains lines from a radical poem stating that those who stand up for their defense in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq are called terrorists.

- Rawash also links to several personal pictures on his MySpace page, which are largely irrelevant. However, one of the pictures identifies Rawash as being present as a MAS (Muslim American Society) summer camp in 2006. See slide show, here.

- His page also has a picture honoring Hamas leaders Ahmed Yassin, a founder of Hamas, and a co-founder Abdul Aziz al-Rantissi over a crowd of armed Hamas militants.

Both Sheik Yassin and Dr. Rantissi were assassinated in separate IDF helicopter attacks in April, 2004.

Good thing they're moderates!

Ohio Selling Personal Data Too Cheap

(Columbus, Ohio) It's a given that the State of Ohio sells the names, addresses, driver's license numbers and other personal data of Ohioans for cash. The process has been in place since at least 2005 and the state has collected millions.

In all candor, this is news to me and quite troubling. Under what provision of the Constitution does it say that government is in the business of collecting personal information and selling it for cash or profit? And, how soon after the government takes over health care is the government going to sell medical records?

Now I know that privacy laws exist with regard to medical records but I don't trust government bureaucracies since they have a demonstrated history of applying the law selectively.

Nevertheless, despite my complaints and concerns, Ohioans' personal data files are being sold and thus far the only controversy seems to be how much to charge.

Most of those records sold for a fraction of a penny each -- $0.00139 to be exact.[…]

Anne Vitale, a staff attorney for the Ohio BMV, said legislative action would be required to increase the $0.00139 cost for the driver's license, vehicle registration and title records.

"We would love to be able to charge" more, Vitale said.

An attorney wants to charge more. Heh, imagine that. (more....)

India: Pakistan spy agency executed Mumbai attacks

This is as bad as it gets.

NEW DELHI — India has accused Pakistan's powerful spy agency of planning and executing the 2008 Mumbai attacks, in the strongest and most specific allegation of Islamabad's involvement in the assault from a top official.

The remark comes a day before the foreign ministers of the rival nations are set to meet in Islamabad to attempt to rebuild a fragile peace dialogue that was shattered by the attacks, which killed 166 people. It appeared to be an attempt to ratchet up the pressure on Pakistan to prosecute people whom India says were deeply involved in the assault.

In an interview published Wednesday, Home Secretary G.K. Pillai accused Pakistan's powerful spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence of playing a key role the attacks.

"It was not just a peripheral role. They (the agency) were literally controlling and coordinating it from the beginning till the end," Pillai told the Indian Express newspaper.

Pillai told the newspaper that new information about the role of the agency had emerged from the interrogation of David Coleman Headley, an American who pleaded guilty in the U.S. in March to being in on the planning of the attacks. He was subsequently questioned by Indian investigators.

To be a fly on the wall at that meeting....

To enforce this change, all posters will be required to register their name, address, phone number and a legitimate credit card number.

The credit card will be charged a one-time fee of 99 cents to activate the account.

The poster's name as it appears on the credit card will automatically be attached to the poster's comments, as will the name of the community in which they live.

Seattle Cartoonist Threatened

(Seattle, Washington) Cartoonist Molly Norris is threatened with assassination.

CNN - A Seattle cartoonist who drew a cartoon about the Prophet Mohammed has been warned by the FBI about death threats made against her by a radical cleric with ties to al Qaeda, an FBI agent said Tuesday.

"She should be taken as a prime target of assassination," terror suspect Anwar al-Awlaki purportedly wrote about cartoonist Molly Norris in an English-language magazine called Inspire that claimed to be a publication of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.

"This campaign is not a practice of freedom of speech, but is a nationwide mass movement of Americans" who are "going out of their way to offend Muslims worldwide," the article signed by al-Awlaki continued. Al-Awlaki is himself being sought in Yemen for his alleged role as a planner of the failed bombing of a Detroit-bound passenger plane on Christmas Day last year.

Norris has been advised to take precautions to ensure her safety, said FBI Special Agent Marty Prewett.

Members of the religion of peace kill, or at least threaten to kill, when offended. Heh.

Syrian Army Has the Runs

Soldier on Toilet.jpg

(Damascus, Syria) All military exercises have reportedly been halted.
The Syrian opposition has asserted that President Bashar Assad ordered the suspension of military training.

Assad was said to have issued the order in mid-June 2010 amid an epidemic of diarrhea at army camps.

The diarrhea report hasn't been confirmed by the Syrian military. If true, however, one might suspect something more sinister than a bad meal. 600,000 troops with the runs would seriously impact military readiness.

Rumors have spread that Israel caused the epidemic but doctors blame food contamination linked to a heat wave. Heh.

al-Qaeda figure posing as asylum seeker captured by Indonesia

Curious....who is he and how high up the food chain is he.....and why did he flee the Stans and turn up on the other side of the world.

Sky News

A captured Afghan man posing as an asylum seeker and en route to Australia reportedly has links to al-Qaeda.

Mohammad Isa was captured by Indonesian authorities in North Sumatra in April with ten other illegal immigrants and has since been held in the Australian-built Tanjun Pinang immigration detention centre on Bintang Island.

The Australian newspaper reports Isa is said to be a doctor who speaks eight languages.

The head of Indonesia's international crimes unit Saud Usman Nasution says the arrest marks the first time an asylum seeker has been linked to potential terrorism.

The provincial head of immigration in North Sumatra, Sahala Pasaribu, has told The Australian they learned from Indonesia's specialist anti-terrorist police squad that at least one mobile phone held by the group of 11 Afghans, had been used to contact senior al-Qaeda figures.

General Nasution has warned that some asylum seekers trying to reach Australia via Indonesia could have terrorist backgrounds.

Who were the senior Al Qaeda figures he had contacted with that cell phone...

CBS Poll - Obama Doesn't Look Good

Not to mention his policies.

A few highlights:

Obama's economic policies help you personally - 13%
Stimulus make the economy better - 23%
Obama's approval rating on the economy - 40%
Overall approval - 44%

The one that gets me is: Does Obama....?
Take decisive action - 67% say Yes
Share your priorities - 48% say Yes

So he's great at getting sh*t done that the majority of people don't want. That sums it up.

"If it had been warmer and Fatso was more alert, we would have been dealing with a fatality."

The man staggered back to the pub bleeding heavily.

And he made it back to the bar. Impressive!

Nigerian Muslim Sect Needs Attention

Boko Harem is the sect. Jawa has covered these guys a couple times in the past but this article does a nice summary. The bottom line is Boko Harem either wants international attention in order for recruits to refill the ranks or they have ambitions to affiliate with al-Qaeda. Actually, the latter probably meets the first objective. Boko Harem's leader prays that "America, die with your fury". Not quite "devil will do meetballs" worthy but I'm sure the delivery was passionate. Somebody forward this post to the drone operators in Nevada, please.

A leader of a radical Nigerian Muslim sect that started a rampage that left 700 people dead last year has issued a statement mourning the deaths of al-Qaida in Iraq commanders and threatening the United States.

The message by Imam Abubakar Shekau, a deputy for the Boko Haram sect whom police claimed to have killed during the July 2009 violence, comes as the one-year anniversary of the killings approaches. It also shows Boko Haram's supposed leader reaching out to other global terror groups at a time when Nigerian security agencies remain concerned that the sect is capable of unleashing new attacks.

Boko Haram — which means "Western education is sacrilege" [ed. note - good idea to keep this policy in place, retards] in the local Hausa language — has campaigned for the implementation of strict Shariah law. Nigeria, a nation of 150 million people, is divided between the Christian-dominated south and the Muslim-held north.

During the 2009 attack, Boko Haram also was known as the Nigerian Taliban. No direct link with al-Qaida has emerged, even though al-Qaida affiliates operate in North Africa. Analysts have warned that Boko Haram could join the al-Qaida fold, if the group carries out attacks the terror organization supports.

Robbing banks? Not smart. (Especially When You're Under Surveillance for Terrorism -- Bumped/Updated)

***Bumped and Sticky Because You Won't Find this Anywhere Else***

Displaying a firearm and assaulting bank tellers in the commission of the robbery?

A very bad idea.

Doing all that when you're the target of a terrorism investigation who just happens to have previously lived in Charlotte, NC and attended college there - Charlotte being the [former?] home of al-Qaida's own Samir Khan?

F*cking stupid.

Aaron has details at sofir.org.

UPDATE by Rusty: Let me just add something to Aaron's analysis from the unsealed indictment against Mustafa Naushad and his two bank robbing buddies. Aaron has the indictment posted, see the link at the bottom of this page.

Why is it that we believe that Naushad is connected to terrorism? And that the bank robbery may have been connected to terror?

As part of an unrelated investigation, the FBI has installed and used a tracking device on a ... [vehicle] ... which is registered to Mustafa....

In addition, FBI agents have conducted many months of physical and video surveillance on Naushad's residence

A suspect in an "unrelated investigation"? I wonder what kind of investigation that was?

A credible witness claims that Naushad was arrested at his parents' home in Charlotte by the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Seems kind of odd, if this was just a simple bank robbery.

Expect follow up posts or updates.

France Bans Veils in Public

(Paris, France) By a vote of 336 to one, France's lower house of parliament banned the wearing of face veils in public places.
The bill makes it illegal to cover the face anywhere in public and those caught wearing a full veil would face fines of $190 or be ordered to enrol in a "citizenship course".

Men who force their wives or daughters to wear the full veil face a fine of up to $37,754 and a one-year jail term, according to the draft legislation.

Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, said earlier this year that the full veil "hurts the dignity of women and is not acceptable in French society".

Justice Minister Michele Alliot-Marie said that life in France is "carried out with a bare face." In opposition, the Socialists, Greens and Communists have boycotted the measure. Heh, imagine that.

The measure is expected to pass the Senate without any problem and become effective sometime in early 2011.

Lohan Vs Lesbians

Its on like Donkey Kong.

Inmates of the jail where Lindsay Lohan is set to spend up to 90 days have warned of gangs out to attack the starlet, saying "everyone will want a piece of her", The Sun reported Tuesday.

Lohan's A-list neighbors will be replaced with tough guards and fearsome lesbian gangs desperate to get their hands on her."Or if you get her to cry, the whole ward will laugh and people will love it -- even the guards."

Haley also warned bisexual Lindsay of the jail's lesbian gangs -- and offered advice on how to avoid their clutches.

Additionally, she will be inundated by a stream of shoddy amateur scripts written about a well ridden former Hollywood star molested by mobs of hot lesbian inmates by one Rusty "The Stalker" Shackleford.

Oh, and for those who don't know...

"The gay inmates wear their shirts inside out to let others know they are available. "So if Lindsay doesn't want someone to grab her ass she'd better keep her shirt on straight. "Women grab each other like animals when the guards aren't looking. It's disgusting."

Can You Fatwa An Entire Country?

Hey, look, Pakistan isn't just the leader in suicide bombings, they're the #1 country in the world for porn searches. And not just any old porn either!

Pakistan is top dog in searches per-person for "horse sex" since 2004, "donkey sex" since 2007, "rape pictures" between 2004 and 2009, "rape sex" since 2004, "child sex" between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, "animal sex" since 2004 and "dog sex" since 2005, according to Google Trends and Google Insights, features of Google that generate data based on popular search terms.

The country also is tops -- or has been No. 1 -- in searches for "sex," "camel sex," "rape video," "child sex video" and some other searches that can't be printed here.

I can only wonder how many of those searches originate in the Haqqani Network.

They need to change their name to Sickistan.

Police: Transgender woman arrested in ID bomb plot

Comedy Gold...

PAYETTE, Idaho (AP) -- A transgender woman who was at odds with police over how they acknowledged her gender identity in a 2007 traffic citation was arrested for investigation of rigging what appeared to be four pipe bombs to a propane tank at her home, torching her car then running naked along a rural highway.

Catherine Carlson, 53, was arrested Sunday after firefighters responding to a report of a fire found pipes made to look like bombs on the porch of her trailer home in Payette, with a note warning of a booby-trap, authorities said.

About 50 homes were evacuated in the southwestern Idaho city when another call came in, reporting a car fire at a storage unit on U.S. Highway 95. The vehicle had been doused in gasoline.

Another call alerted police to a naked woman running down the highway, carrying what also appeared to be a pipe bomb. Police later learned the pipe contained legal documents, not explosives.

"She's had some issues with the Payette County jail regarding her sexual orientation," Payette Police Chief Mark Clark told KIVI-TV. "During questioning, Carlson said she is trying to bring attention to her plight."

Carlson was being held in Payette County jail on suspicion of use of weapons of mass destruction, arson and indecent exposure. It could not be immediately determined if she had a lawyer.

Carlson legally changed her name to Catherine Carlson more than three decades ago, before she had a sex change operation in 1980.

In 2007, she clashed with authorities over a traffic citation after they included her given name, Daniel Carlson Rusty Shackleford, on some documents. The name Daniel Carlson Rusty Shackleford is listed as an "aka," or "also known as," on the citation records.

Since receiving the citation, Carlson has been jailed at least four times for investigation of failure to appear for court-ordered community service, driving without a license and other allegations.

Among other things, she objected to being held in a cell by herself, rather than in a housing unit for female prisoners, as she had requested.

Update by Vinnie Fixed it for you.

Is North Carolina's Samir Khan Behind New al Qaeda Magazine? Quotes Yousef al-Khattab (Updated, BUMPED)

***Bumped***Scroll down for newer posts***

It's a question I've been asking behind the scenes since the first failed version of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula magazine was published, then almost immediately taken off the internet shelves. I hadn't planned on saying anything in public, but since Aaron went ahead and let the cat out of the bag, there's no use in keeping this one secret.

Yes, Samir Khan and his network of online friends are almost certainly behind this. The layout smacks of Khan's "al Fursan" productions and "Jihad Recollections" and my first gut instinct was that he had something to do with it -- this was before the magazine was actually (finally) released over the weekend.

Last week I sent out an informal questionnaire to a number of prominent experts in jihad propaganda asking them who they thought was behind the magazine -- this was after the original and corrupt version of the mag was put out, but before the full version was finally released.

The answers tended to fall into two camps.

1) The corrupt file was an op designed to sow discord within the ranks of al Qaeda online.

2) Samir Khan.

[UPDATE: The third possibility remains that Samir made the file, but someone else corrupted it in transit ... on purpose. Something Aaron just emailed me.]

In addition to Aaron's and my own first impression that the basement dweller formerly from Charlotte, North Carolina is tied to the magazine are Jarret Brachman and Christopher Anzalone. As of this writing, we're the only ones saying this publicly (that I know of), although others are saying it privately.

But it's more than just the layout and the fact that Sammy aborted his al Fursan project and has, in fact, left blogging altogether. Both of the publications seem to have an affinity for Yousef al Khattab and the small circle of his friends at Revolution Muslim and The Islamic Thinkers Society of New York.

For instance, one section of the new magazine quotes Khattab, "I love Osama bin Laden". Here's the screenshot:

The same section has a quote about the Islamic Thinkers Society of New York, "They've got an anti-Western, anti-democratic, anti-US, pro-al Qaeda message." Here's the screenshot.

Khattab, Revolution Muslim, and the Islamic Thinkers Society are clearly on the radar screen of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. Since Samir is familiar with all of them, the simplest explanation for this is that he and his pals at the now defunct "The Ignored Pieces Puzzles of Knowledge" blog are behind Inspire magazine.

I may update this post as I'm just now reading the entire thing. Feel free to drop your thoughts below, and especially drop links to others who may have the same take or even opposing viewpoints.

UPDATE: Sammy's blog is not as defunct as I thought. For some time it has been run by his buddy "Tarbiya", but since it hadn't been updated in so long I thought that even "Tarbiya" had abandoned it. Not so. In fact, it's been updated twice since the middle of May.

Guess what the two posts are about?

It's almost as if "Tarbiya" and Samir are keeping in contact .....

Let me also remind readers that Samir's blog continues to operate on the servers of The Ansar al Mujhadeen English Forum (AMEF). A website dedicated to Salafi jihadism (al Qaeda types) but run by a number of Americans. Khan's blog is the only blog hosted by the forum.

And the akhis from the Revolution Muslim blog take notice of the magazine, and post a lengthy disclaimer that they don't necessarily endorse its veiws. Right, we believe that....

Also, Khan was an open admirer of Anwar al-Awlaki for years. Which would explain how the two became so chummy, and why Samir suddenly went silent last year.

The major news, so far, seems to have been that the magazine threatens the founder of Everybody Draw Mohammad Day. Radical Muslims threaten "blasphemer"? Yawn.

But if an American is behind an official al Qaeda magazine, that seems like an even bigger story. Especially since that American has been on the radar screen for years and years.

Dearborn -- Four Christian missionaries were arraigned today on misdemeanor charges of disturbing the peace following their June 18 arrest at the Arab International Festival.

Dearborn authorities said the four "chose to escalate their behavior, which appeared well-orchestrated and deliberate" as they handed out religious literature and talking with people at the festival. The woman and three men are members or founders of a group called "Acts 17 Apologetics."

White House denies NASA remark on Muslim outreach

Joining a long list of those now under the Obama bus is the NASA Director.

WASHINGTON – The White House is contradicting the NASA administrator's claim that President Barack Obama assigned him to reach out to Muslims on science matters.

NASA Administrator Charles Bolden recently told Al-Jazeera network that one of the charges Obama gave him was "to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science and engineering."

Some conservative activists criticized the remarks.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday that such activities are not among Bolden's assigned tasks. He said administration officials have spoken with NASA about the matter.

Bombers Kill More Than 60 in Attacks in Uganda Capital

This was well planned and well executed.......this was aFazul operation.(IMHO)

NY Times

At least 64 people were killed when bombs exploded Sunday in a synchronized attack on large gatherings of World Cup soccer fans watching the televised final on outdoor screens in this normally peaceful capital, police officials said on Monday.

A man attended to an injured woman after a bomb went off in a restaurant in Kampala’s Kabalagala district on Sunday.
The bombs struck at 10:30 p.m. local time in the middle of the match between Spain and the Netherlands under way in South Africa, with at least three explosions hitting a popular Ethiopian garden restaurant and a large rugby field in a different Kampala neighborhood where hundreds of people had massed to watch the game. More than 70 people were injured.

Joan Lockard, a spokeswoman at the American Embassy in Kampala, confirmed that at least one American was killed and Judith Nabakooba, a police spokeswoman, said an Indian national also died.

Ugandan police officials said they suspected that the Shabab, a militant Islamic group in nearby Somalia, might have been behind the bombings. If so, it would be that group’s first attack outside Somalia. But the police said it was premature to draw conclusions.

Understandable: Journos Mistake Taliban for Monkeys, Wookies

I don't care if even some pretty good bloggers picked up the story and maybe believed it, but this is ludicrous.

Until "meh" put it all in context: can you really blame these journalists for mistaking the Taliban for monkeys? Or Wookies?

Now, less ludicrous and more too good to fact check!

Some stupid Chinese news source:

Reporters from the media agency spotted and took photos of a few "monkey soldiers" holding AK-47 rifles and Bren light machine guns in the Waziristan tribal region near the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The report and photos have been widely spread by media agencies and Web sites across the world.

According to the report, American military experts call them "monkey terrorists."

Go ahead and call the Taliban monkey terrorists, I'll stick with monkey f*ckers.

*Apologies for the Temple of Doom reference which I know brings up a lot of bad memories for the Indiana Jones purists who insist anything with Short Round (or aliens) in it doesn't count.

Awlaki Fatwas Draw Mohammed Participants

The new Al Qaeda mag in English has pages of corrupted code but one readable article by Yemeni-American Anwar Awlaki advocates death for those who insult Mohammed (shocka!). But since we all pay taxes and vote, everybody in the US is a combatant according to Awlaki and deserving of death, so it doesn't matter what the hell we do anyway. Al Qaeda in Yemen is weak, corrupt and a stooge, and not well liked in Yemen. Even the tribes are kicking them out. I think they are trying to draw the US in with these inflammatory statements which would mobilize Yemenis not for al-Qa'ida but against US intervention.

Google News "The proper solution to this growing campaign of defamation" of the prophet is "the execution of those involved," reads the article in web magazine "Inspire," in a text provided by the US monitoring service SITE on Sunday.

The article singles out Seattle-based cartoonist Molly Norris, who satirically proposed to make May 20 an "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day," although Islam bans the depiction of any prophet as blasphemous.

"A cartoonist out of Seattle, Washington, named Molly Norris started the 'Everyone Draw Mohammed Day,'" the article attributed to the radical Yemeni cleric says.

"She should be taken as a prime target of assassination, along with others who participated in her campaign.

"The large number of participants makes it easier for us because there are many targets to choose from," reads the article in the magazine of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, or AQAP.

The killings should not, however, be limited to "Draw Mohammed" participants, the article says.

"Because (participants) are practising a 'right' that is defended by the law, they have the backing of the entire Western political system. This would make... attacking any Western target legal from an Islamic viewpoint."

World Cup Cupboard

(Johannesburg, South Africa) Today, the World Cup final will be played (2:30 ET ABC) between Spain and Holland. Neither team has ever won the World Cup.

Handicapping the contest, Paul, the psychic octopus living in a German aquarium and known for accuracy in predicting the outcome of games, has confidently picked Spain to win.

By the way, there are rumors about Paul, the prescient octopus. One rumor is that someone has put out a contract on the life of Paul. Another is that someone has offered to buy Paul for tens of thousands of dollars. No confirmation on either.

In other World Cup news, popular Dutch adult film star, Bobbi Eden, headliner of classics like "Innocent Until Proven Filthy", "Humpalong Cassidy", and others, is undeterred and going all out to show her support for her team from Holland. Eden has offered to provide an intimate blowing of anatomical vuvuzelas of all her Twitter followers if the Netherlands wins the World Cup.

Prior to the announcement, Eden had about 4K followers. Afterward, enthusiasm for the Dutch soccer team exploded and Eden's Twitter account jumped to more than 100,000 followers. Of course, anyone can see Eden's offer is a simple publicity stunt. Imagine that.

However, at the same time, more interest in the outcome has emerged. Eden promises to publish details on how to collect the vuvuzela blow on her Twitter page tomorrow. (more....)

Another eHadi Dies on the Battlefield

This week "Abu Salamah" at the Islamic Awakening forum announced the "martyrdom" of one of its members who called himself "Rakan":

For those who fight in the way of Allah, for them is one of the two best things: victory or martyrdom. Alhamdulillah, Rakan has been honoured with the ultimate reward because he gave the ultimate sacrifice. When he was around the age of 10, this one time his mom walked into his bedroom and found him alone on his bed in the dark, crying his eyes out. And when she asked him what happened, she assumed he injured himself or something but he turned to her and said, mom, how can i save myself from hell? i dont want to go to hell. At that age he was worried about his akhira. The brother died with a smile on his face. May Allah accept him.
Kind of sounds like "Abu Salamah" and "Rakan" were akhis that knew each other in the meat world, no?

As much as the website is pro-terrorism, this didn't settle well with the UK based administrators -- who promptly removed the thread before it could attract too much attention from the you-know-whos.

Unfortunately for them, Google cached it.

Hey "Abu Salamah", watch your six.

Yet another post for the files of those who believe online terrorists are all just wannabes who pose no threat. The pic above? That's former online jihadi Humam Bilawi just before he killed 7 CIA agents in Afghanistan.

One only hopes Rakan's "martyrdom" was more typical of the jihad set and he only managed to kill himself.

Thanks to our Zionist spy in the UK.

"Hate Speech" On Display

Donald Douglas sends me a link to his post on a University of Illinois professor fired for being pro-life. While that, of course, pisses me off, I was even more stunned to learn that Don is the victim of a PC witch hunt of his own for displaying this on his bulletin board at the community college he teaches at.

With deference to my friend Bosch Fawstin, I neither think Obama is a communist nor does he have a particular soft spot for Islam. He's a terrible President -- perhaps the worst in a century -- with a love of statism and a view of the world in which the weak are always constructed as good and the strong are always constructed as bad.

But this picture is ..... hate speech? Are. You. Out. Of. Your. Minds?

Walk down the halls of any social science department at any university in America and you'll see much much worse -- but all of them directed at Republicans.

Apologies About Site Problems / Bleg for Help [UPDATED: Fixed?]

Some of you are getting some kind of redirect to a " bscorecardrearch.com" and others an error message reading something like "Enclose the script in a {BODY}{/BODY} tag!".

But every time I open the Jawa Report in Chrome, Firefox, or IE it works just fine.

Howie thought the problem had to do with embedded videos. So I went through all the embedded videos on the front page and put those tags around them. Nada. Still getting complaints.

So, if any of you know what is going please do me a favor and drop some advice in the comments section. I know it's Friday night and you have better things to do, but I'd really appreciate it.

Who am I kidding, you don't have anything better to do. Surfing for pr0n doesn't count!

Update by Howie....

OK I have had the Main page of the site displaying in firefox & IE, researching.....dag nabbit.

If you are still having problems, try refresh.....or something...

I blame Mosquewatch.

UPDATE by Rusty: I haven't been able to get hold of Howie, but it looks to me like he removed the thingy with the bad script in it. But since I never was able to replicate the problem in the first place let me ask you guys: is it fixed now?

Former Congressman Pleads Guilty to Helping Jihadis

Here's the rule: Do not give money to Islamic charities. Period. DOJ press release on the guilty plea below.

Oh, yeah, the guy was a Republican. Go figure.

KANSAS CITY, MO—A former congressman and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations pleaded guilty in federal court today to obstruction of justice and to acting as an unregistered foreign agent related to his work for an Islamic charity with ties to international terrorism, announced Beth Phillips, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri.

Mark Deli Siljander, 59, of Great Falls, Va., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey to one charge contained in an Oct. 21, 2008, federal indictment, and an additional charge filed today, involving his work for the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA) of Columbia, Mo. Siljander was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Michigan and was a U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations General Assembly.

Co-defendant Abdel Azim El-Siddig, of Chicago, Ill., a former IARA fundraiser, also pleaded guilty today to conspiring with Siljander and others to hire Siljander to lobby for IARA’s removal from a Senate Finance Committee list of charities suspected of having terrorist ties, while concealing this advocacy and not registering with the proper authorities.

“A former congressman engaged in illegal lobbying for a charity suspected of funding international terrorism. He then used his own charities to hide the payments for his criminal activities,” U.S. Attorney Phillips said. “Siljander repeatedly lied to FBI agents and prosecutors investigating serious crimes related to national security. With today’s guilty pleas, all of the defendants in this case have admitted their guilt and will be held accountable for their actions.”

Siljander operated a Washington, D.C., consulting business called Global Strategies, Inc. IARA was an Islamic charity in Columbia, Mo., that served as the U.S. office of an international organization headquartered in Khartoum, Sudan. IARA was closed in October 2004, after being identified by the U.S. Treasury Department as a specially designated global terrorist organization, for the support its international offices provided to Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda, and the Taliban. The executive director of IARA, co-defendant Mubarak Hamed, 53, of Columbia, a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from Sudan, has pleaded guilty in connection with this case.

According to today’s plea agreements, between March and May 2004, Hamed and El-Siddig hired Siljander to lobby for IARA’s removal from a U.S. Senate Finance Committee list of charities suspected of funding international terrorism, and its reinstatement as an approved government contractor. IARA lost its status as an approved government contractor in 1999, when the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) terminated grants for two relief projects in Mali, Africa. USAID informed the organization that the grants were not in the national security interest of the United States.

Siljander, El-Siddig, and Hamed each knew that IARA was part of a large international organization controlled by its headquarters in Khartoum, Sudan, and agreed with each other to conceal Siljander’s efforts on IARA’s behalf. In order to do so, Siljander instructed El-Siddig and Hamed to transfer $75,000 of IARA’s funds to him by funnelling them through non-profit entities. El-Siddig carried at least three checks issued to Siljander’s charities from Chicago to Washington, D.C., and gave them to Siljander.

In exchange for the payments, during the Summer of 2004, Siljander acted as an agent for IARA by contacting persons at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, USAID, the Department of Justice and the Department of the Army, in an effort to have IARA removed from the USAID list of debarred entities, and to remove IARA from the Senate Finance Committee’s list of charities suspected of funding terrorism. Federal law requires anyone who serves as an agent of a foreign entity, including an organization, to register with the U.S. Attorney General.

In pleading guilty, Siljander admitted that in two separate interviews he repeatedly lied to FBI agents and prosecutors acting on behalf of a federal grand jury. Siljander obstructed justice by falsely denying that he was hired to advocate for IARA, and by falsely claiming that the payments from IARA were charitable donations intended to assist him in writing a book about bridging the gap between Islam and Christianity.

Under federal statutes, Siljander is subject to a sentence of up to 15 years in federal prison without parole, plus a fine of up to $500,000. El-Siddig is subject to a sentence of up to five years in federal prison without parole, plus a fine of up to $250,000. Sentencing hearings will be scheduled after the completion of presentence investigations by the U.S. Probation Office.

Siljander and El-Siddig were the final defendants facing trial next week in Kansas City, Mo.

Hamed pleaded guilty on June 25, 2010, to conspiring to illegally transfer more than $1 million to Iraq in violation of federal sanctions, and to obstructing the administration of the laws governing tax-exempt charities. Hamed used IARA to solicit charitable contributions throughout the United States, taking in between $1 million and $3 million in contributions annually from 1991 to 2003, and then illegally transferred funds to Iraq, with the assistance of a Jordanian identified by the U.S. Treasury Department as a specially designated global terrorist. Hamed also impaired and impeded the administration of the Internal Revenue laws by misusing IARA’s tax-exempt status, providing false information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and lying to federal agents.

Co-defendant Ali Mohamed Bagegni, 56, a native of Libya who is a naturalized U.S. citizen and former resident of Columbia, pleaded guilty on April 6, 2010, to his role in the conspiracy. Bagegni was a member of the board of directors of IARA.

Co-defendant Ahmad Mustafa, 57, of Columbia, a citizen of Iraq and a lawful permanent resident alien, pleaded guilty on Dec. 17, 2009, to illegally transferring funds to Iraq in violation of federal sanctions. Mustafa worked as a fund-raiser for IARA and traveled throughout the United States soliciting charitable contributions. Further, in 1999, 2000, and 2001, at Hamed’s behest, Mustafa traveled to Iraq on IARA business. In 2001, he visited Iraq for several weeks and met with numerous officials to discuss the process of opening an IARA office in Iraq. Among the officials with whom Mustafa met was Hushyar Zibari, who was at the time a leader in the Patriotic Democratic Party of Kurdistan and is currently the foreign minister of Iraq. Mustafa also looked to find a building suitable for an IARA office in the Kurdish provinces of Iraq.

This case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Anthony P. Gonzalez, Steven M. Mohlhenrich, Dan Stewart and Brian Casey from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri, and Trial Attorney Paul G. Casey from the National Security Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The case was investigated by the FBI, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and U.S. Agency for International Development, Office of the Inspector General.

Heartache: Fatwa Declares Loud Vuvuzela Against Islam!

I'm torn. On the one hand, anything associated with soccer is clearly ghey. So, good riddance.

On the other hand, these things are pretty much the only thing keeping soccer interesting:

But now, just days before Holland and Spain settle the tournament in the 2010 World Cup final, the UAE’s General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has finally issued its ruling. If they are loud enough to damage hearing, vuvuzelas are haram. According to fatwa number 11625, the horns can be used only in stadiums if they pose no harm....

“However,” the ruling declares, “importers and traders ... must ensure that its power is not over 100 decibels so as to avoid damaging people’s hearing.”...

The National’s own specimen vuvuzela easily maxed out a sound level meter, which can record up to 126 decibels. Even the quieter horns, rushed out after the first wave of complaints, are only 20 decibels less noisy – still over the limit.

Thanks to Jeff.

BP Has 24 Hours To Explain Leak Or Else Obama Will Do ...Things That BP Won't Like

BP has been given 24 hours to answer questions on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the US government's incident commander said.

Adm Thad Allen sent a letter to the oil giant's managing director saying the company must hand over "detailed plans and timelines" on stopping the leak.

Really? 24 hours? I think they've had a shade under 3 months. Why give a one day ultimatum when the Obama Administration has been screwing the pooch since April 20th? Must have been a poll that indicated swearing at BP didn't help and that a harshly worded letter with a limp, veiled threat would go over much better in public opinion.

Split In Afghan Insurgency?

Daily Times:

In what could signal a split within the insurgency, Hezb-e-Islami fighters have been tipping off US and Afghan forces over the past few months, revealing locations of key Taliban figures in Baghlan and Kunduz provinces, said General Murad Ali Murad, commander of Afghan troops in the north.

We buy information from the fighters,” said the official who spoke on condition of anonymity. Hezb-e-Islami, led by veteran anti-Soviet guerrilla commander and former PM Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, is one of the three major insurgent groups fighting government and foreign forces in Afghanistan, mainly in the east and pockets of the north. The other two, both seen by NATO as bigger threats, are the Taliban, with strongholds in the south, and the Haqqani network, based mainly in the southeast.

Earlier this year, Taliban fighters pushed into Hezb-e-Islami strongholds in the north, leading to clashes between the two groups. Hezb-e-Islami later played down the clashes, but Murad said Hekmatyar’s men, who came off worse in the fighting, now sought revenge and were passing on information about their Taliban rivals.

Looks to me like the same crap as Iraq. Turn an insurgent group with cash because the groups generally don't like each other. The problem is bringing these people into the government fold, which I don't see happening in this remote, tribal culture. But, maybe that is just good enough for Afghanistan. Any other thoughts?

Suicide Bombing Kills 50 Innocent Muslims In Pakistan

I generalized that those killed were Muslim due to the high percentage of Pakistan's population being of the Islamic faith, especially in the tribal areas. This evil act happened today so it is too early to determine who is responsible. Two suicide bombers, one on a motorcycle, detonating within seconds of each other does lend itself to a Taliban operation.

From the Washington Post:

The bombers detonated their explosives near the Yakaghund village office of Rasool Khan, a deputy administrator of the Mohmand tribal region who escaped unharmed. At least one bomber was on a motorcycle.

Nearby, officials were distributing wheelchairs to disabled people and equipment to poor farmers, said Mohmand's chief administrator, Amjad Ali Khan. He said more than 50 people were killed and more than 100 were wounded.

Some 70 to 80 shops in the area were damaged or destroyed, Rasool Khan said. A prison building also was damaged, and some 28 prisoners - ordinary criminals, not militants - had apparently escaped, he said.

Abdul Wadood, injured in the attack sums up these asshats, "I think those who planned or carried out this attack are not humans."

Vols in the can

A little bird informs me that several star Tennessee football players ended up in the can after an eventful night on The Strip. Should hit the wires later, from what I'm told. Couldn't happen to a better team, but what more could you expect from the SEC?

UPDATE: You heard it here first, folks.

Two Tennessee football players charged in brawl:

Two Tennessee players were charged in an early morning bar brawl that left an off-duty police officer who tried to break up the fight knocked unconscious, and more could be facing charges, police said Friday.

Incoming freshman receiver Da'Rick Rogers was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Knoxville police said. Rising sophomore defensive back Darren Myles Jr. was charged with assault, resisting arrest and evading arrest, University of Tennessee police said.

A campus police report said Myles tried to hide under a car and in some bushes as an officer tried to arrest him, then elbowed the officer in the face.

Three other players - rising senior receiver Denarius Moore, junior college transfer defensive tackle John Brown and incoming freshman receiver Matt Milton - were questioned but had not been charged as of Friday afternoon.

Robert Capouellez, an off-duty Knoxville officer who was a patron at Bar Knoxville and tried to break up the fight, was being treated for a head injury after being knocked unconscious, Knoxville police spokesman Darrell DeBusk said. Capouellez, 24, was allegedly hit in the head, knocked to the ground and then kicked several times.

The SEC at its finest, ladies and gentlemen. The best teams money can buy.

The Environmentally-Friendly Last Ceremony

Dear Friends, we gather to mourn the passing of (name of deceased). A moment of silence, please.

Rather than bury or cremate dead people, a Scottish company recommends disposing of human remains by dissolving them in toxic chemicals and flushing them down the toilet.

According to Sandy Sullivan, director of Resomation, makers of the Resomator, the machine which turns human remains into flushable material, "(People) like the environmental benefits and the thought of going the water route, as opposed to burial or fire."

Despite the fact that I recoil at anything which would make Adolph Hitler salivate, I'm puzzled regarding how humans can possibly revere their dead, one characteristic that separates homo sapiens from the rest of the animal kingdom. I contend that a memorial plaque on the toilet would be disrespectful.

NY Subway Bomb Plotter Cutting Deal with Feds

To be honest, I'm not sure what to think of this. Here's a guy who was working on behalf of al Qaeda to kill hundreds -- maybe thousands -- on the New York City subways and he might walk free? Not only that, but he'd be given a work visa?

We aren't talking about a simple crime here, we're talking about mass murder. A large-scale terrorist operation. An act of war.

But he's also said to be cooperative with the feds, and the information he's providing might prevent future deaths. Perhaps he's helping save the lives of a lot of people?

NY Daily News:

Najibullah Zazi's cooperation with the feds was key to a new indictment Wednesday that tied his plan to blow up subways in Times Square and Grand Central stations to a foiled plot in England.

The Afghan immigrant's singing could earn him a coveted "S" visa, given only to aliens who provide critical information on terror organizations, officials revealed.

So, does the good he's doing by cooperating outweigh the very large amount of evil he would have done had he not been caught?

Muslim Idol TV Show

Imam Muda.jpg(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) Modeled after the "American Idol" television show, Malaysian producers have created a reality TV competition where 10 men between the ages of 19 and 27 years old try to get audience votes to be trained as an imam at al-Madinah University in Saudi Arabia.

The show is called "Imam Muda" or "Young Imam" and it's reported to be extremely popular throughout Asia.

The audience votes out one candidate in each show. Wearing dark suits and black caps, which are common among Malaysian Muslims, the candidates have to fulfil several tasks.

During the very first show, the would-be imams got a tough assignment: They were asked to wash corpses in front of live cameras, and bury the bodies of the deceased according to Muslim tradition.

One of the deceased even was an HIV-infected person, whose body, according to newspaper reports had been lying in a mosque for weeks because nobody was willing to touch the corpse.

The winner gets a laptop and a job leading prayers at Kuala Lumpur's biggest mosque. Incidentally, Imam Muda has a Facebook page for those who might want to join in the fun. (more….)

AQ's Recently Minced Commander Replaced By Expectant Ground Chuck

Abu Laith al-Libi droned to oblivion in January of 2008 was replaced by Mustafa Abu al-Yazid but he took a trip to the hell fires by way of a Hellfire and know is being replaced by Egyptian Sheikh Fateh al-Misri. I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the Jawa Report, to thank the good Sheikh for stepping up to the plate. Way to man up! It just doesn't feel like we have had enough dead mujahideen lately and I think this will be a great opportunity for our drones to do some target practice.

Ominous prediction at the end:

The clamor is growing for action against militants in Punjab, but the Lal Masjid (Red Mosque) operation haunts the establishment - it does not want Pakistan's fault lines once again exposed. In July 2007, security forces stormed the Taliban-supporting mosque that had become a haven for militants. The action energized militants across the country.

The authorities might decide to take action against particular seminaries in Punjab and against some banned organizations, after a national debate through conferences. This will take time, and when it happens it will cause sectarian strife. This preoccupation and engagement of the security apparatus will provide breathing space for al-Qaeda, which has already defeated the military in Orakzai Agency, where it controls large areas.

New commander Misri will be waiting to strike, both in Afghanistan and in Pakistan.

Singapore solider linked to Awlaki

Its not just a US problem.... Awlaki's reach is global.

SINGAPORE, July 7 (UPI) -- Authorities in Singapore arrested a member of the armed forces who became radicalized after contacting Yemeni cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, officials said.

The government in Singapore said 20-year-old Muhammad Fadil Abdul Hamid, described as a full-time serviceman in the Singapore military, was detained under the authority of internal security legislation, Singapore's The Straits Times reports.

The soldier allegedly became self-radicalized by browsing militant Islamic sites on the Internet. He was accused of initiating communications with Awlaki and expressed his desire to carry out attacks in the Middle East, Iraq or Afghanistan.

Awlaki is linked to the alleged shooter in the November attacks on Fort Hood, Texas, and the alleged would-be bomber on a passenger jet bound for Detroit on Christmas Day. Washington placed the U.S.-born cleric on its hit list.

When the mosque burned down, CAIR called for an investigation as a hate crime. Well, it was investigated and the guilty party? A Muslim who had attended the mosque.

The other mosque attendees were said to be surprised because they also assumed it was a "hate crime".

So, was this some crazy dude? A disgruntled worshipper mad at the congregation? Or is this another example of an orchestrated "hate crime" in order to make Muslims seem like the victims of bigotry?

Unsurprising: Another Innocent GITMO Victim Arrested for Terror

In Pakistan, of all places. None of this can be true, of course, since: a) Pakistan is an Islamic Republic and therefore, by definition, it's people are all pacifists; b) the vast majority of GITMO detainees are innocent bystanders who just happened to be in Afghanistan on vacation when the war started.

Long War Journal:

A former detainee held at Guantanamo Bay for nearly three years has been arrested in Pakistan on terrorism charges. Pakistani officials told Agence France Presse that Issa Khan, who had been detained in Afghanistan in late 2001, held at Gitmo, and then repatriated to Pakistan in September 2004, was arrested today in the Bannu district of Pakistan's Northwest Frontier Province (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).

Bibi's Bodyguards' Guns go Missing

An airline company "lost" my first MP3 player. You remember back when MP3 players were these exotic new things, and you had to rip your CD's in order to put your music on the gizmos.

I was pretty pissed.

But if they lost my gun? Think conniption.

No, I don't think there was a secret plot to rid the bodyguards for Israel's Prime Minister of their weapons, and I think it's a little paranoid to suggest that, but you'd think there would be some better protocol than sending them with the regular luggage.

This brings up an interesting question. I've never traveled by air with my pistol which I have a concealed permit for and which several states reciprocate making it legal for me to carry in those states.

So, what is the protocol for me taking my pistol on an airplane so I could have it in, say, Texas? Is it a major headache or only a minor headache? Any one have any experience doing this willing to let me know if it's worth the hassle?

Smacking Down Glenn Greenwald's Hysterical Anti-Israel Rhetoric

Glenn Greenwald is hysterical. But I repeat myself.

Isn't that kind of all he does? When he's not pretending to be someone else, that is. Before Glenn Greenwald, I didn't even know what a sock puppet was.

So it's no surprise he's hysterical over Israel's dealings with the terrorists who run Gaza.

Israel Declassifies Hizbullah Evidence For UN

UN to send a very harshly worded letter of disappointment to Hassan Nasrallah.

Hizbullah will likely fire close to 800 rockets into Israel every day during a future war, senior IDF officers said on Wednesday, as the Northern Command declassified for the first time evidence of Hizbullah’s growing presence inside close to 160 villages throughout southern Lebanon.

In the maps unveiled by the IDF, Hizbullah weapons caches are shown approximately 50 meters from schools and hospitals. Storage and command centers are in most cases located inside or adjacent to civilian homes.

Three Arrested In Norway On Suspected Terror Links

Norwegian police arrested three men suspected of having ties to Al-Qaeda on charges of preparing terrorist attacks, possibly in the U.K. and U.S.

The three men, all in their thirties and of Iraqi-Kurdish, Uzbek and Uighur origins, were apprehended in Oslo and in Germany in cooperation with German police today.

The Associated Press reported the suspects were planning attacks with portable explosives, similar to those employed in last year’s foiled plot to bomb New York subways, citing unidentified officials. The planned attacks may have been organized by Salah al-Somali, Al-Qaeda’s former chief of external operations who was killed in a CIA drone attack last year, AP said, citing the officials.

Another interesting tidbit from the article:

“The time of the arrests however, was influenced by the fact that at the end of last week we received information that the case would be reported in international media. We therefore did not quite choose the timing of this ourselves, but we believe we have a solid case.”

The Jawa Report has covered Salah al-Somali's involvement in the thwarted NYC subway bombing. Is the expected "international media" report tied to the NYC subway attempt? Good chance.

I hope the US Military has a hellfire with Salah's name on it.

Detroit Mosques Mourn Terrorist Who Blessed Killing of 241 Americans

I'd say I'm shocked, but I'm not. Instead this seems pretty much what we've come to expect from the Hezbollah supporters in Dearbornistan. But I am pissed.

Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah gave his personal blessing to the suicide bombers who killed 241 Americans in Lebanon.

No, I don't think mourning Sayyed Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah should be against the law -- no more than I think mourning the death of Adolph Hitler should be. In fact, it's a great clarifying moment. Let those that mourn this enemy of America stand up and show yourselves.

And then let us call you what you are: evil despicable traitors.

Via Jihad Watch:

The Detroit-area services will rotate among the Islamic Institute of Knowledge in Dearborn, Islamic House of Wisdom in Dearborn Heights and Islamic Center of America in Dearborn.

Imam Mohammad Ali Elahi of the Islamic House of Wisdom says it's important to include several mosques because Fadlallah preached unity among people...

GIMF Member and as-Ansar Administrator Arrested in Germany for Recruiting for al Qaeda

Another member of the Global Islamic Media Front bites the dust. You'd think these guys would have learned by now, but hitting your head against a brick wall over and over and over again is what they do best.

I'll also note that he seems to have been an administrator over on al-Ansar's German forum, which is an offshoot of #5 on Aaron's most recent top ten jihadi forums list.

One only wonders why it took the Germans three years to arrest this guy?

"The accused is strongly suspected of working to recruit members or supporters for Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, Al-Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb and the Islamic Jihad Union," the statement said....

Hussam M. is believed to have used Internet forums and blogs belonging to the German section of the "Global Islamic Media Front" and the "Al-Ansar Media Battalion" since 2007 to attract militants to the various Al-Qaeda groups....

And since February 2009, he allegedly distributed audio, video and text propaganda from "Islamist terrorist groups" as the administrator of a German-language Internet forum.

"It is a regular thing," she smiles at him. "Life is not precious. Life is precious, but not for us. For us, life is nothing, not worth a thing. That is why we have so many suicide bombers. They are not afraid of death. None of us, not even the children, are afraid of death. It is natural for us. After Mohammed gets well, I will certainly want him to be a shahid.

Better to Become a Man

(Bhubaneshwar, India) A 36-year-old woman (name withheld) has undergone sexual reassignment surgery, allegedly to avoid a forced marriage.

Furthermore, it's suspected that the woman, an attorney, has a serious case of lovey-dovey touchy-feelies with another female who she reportedly feared would end the relationship and marry a man.

Understandably, the woman never informed her parents of the sex change plans since they wanted to marry her off.

From her hospital bed on Saturday, the female-to-male assignee exclaimed, "I feel free now. No one can force me to marry. It is better to become a man to get rid of sufferings met by women." (more…)

Al Qaeda's Adnan Shukrijumah to be charged in NYC bomb plot

: Federal prosecutors are expected to announce terrorism charges against an al-Qaida leader with ties to last year’s thwarted plot to bomb the New York City subway system.

Law enforcement officials say Adnan Shukrijumah (ahd-NAHN’ el SHOOK’-ree joohm-HAH’) will be named in an indictment in Brooklyn federal court Wednesday.

Shukrijumah has eluded the FBI for years and remains at large. He is among the top candidates to be al-Qaida’s next head of external operations, the man in charge of planning attacks worldwide.

Authorities believe Shukrijumah met with a would-be suicide bomber in a plot that Attorney General Eric Holder called one of the most dangerous since 9/11.

Hamas Ministry Of Irony Official Action

Ban recently allowed Palestinian newspapers.

Israeli allowed three West Bank—based Palestinian newspapers into the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, after 20 months, but Hamas prevented them from entering.

Israel did not allow the newspapers into the Strip as part of the blockade it imposed on the salient after militants snatched an Israeli soldier in a June 25 2006 cross—border raid. The siege was tightened in June 2007 after Hamas seized control of the enclave by force, routing, in a week of bloody violence.

But fierce international pressure on the Jewish state, following its seizure of a Gaza—bound aid flotilla in which nine activists were killed, led the Israeli government last month to decide relax the blockade, and allow most consumer goods to enter the enclave.

Rapist Mike Tyson Makes Mecca Pilgramage

Since Mike Tyson went to jail for rape, one can only assume he'll fit right into one of the most misogynistic cultures on Earth. But one also wonders if he had committed the crime in Mecca whether he'd even be prosecuted given there weren't two male witnesses. Instead the victim might have been flogged or worse.

You can keep Tyson:

FORMER boxing champion Mike Tyson, who converted to Islam while in jail in the 1990s, is visiting the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina on pilgrimage.

Tyson, who was world heavyweight champion from 1986 to 1990, arrived on Friday in Medina with the Canadian Dawa Association for the umrah, or minor pilgrimage, the newspaper Okaz said.

Singapore: Not a great place for followers of Anwar al-Awlaki, actually

One Singaporean soldier arrested, to be held for two years without trial. Two others placed under Restriction Orders (not quite house arrest, but close). Details follow...

Detention of Self-Radicalised Singaporean

Muhammad Fadil bin Abdul Hamid (Fadil), aged 20, has been detained for two years under the Internal Security Act.

2. Fadil is a full-time national serviceman in the SAF. He had begun avidly surfing the Internet in search of jihadist propaganda and videos when he was studying in a local polytechnic (he eventually did not complete his studies). Over time, he became deeply radicalised by the lectures of radical ideologues such as Anwar al-Awlaki and Sheikh Feiz Muhammad, and became convinced that it was his religious duty to undertake armed jihad alongside fellow militants and strive for martyrdom.

3. Subsequently, Fadil initiated online communication with Anwar al-Awlaki. He expressed his desire to fight alongside Anwar al-Awlaki, and his interest in travelling to places like Palestine, Iraq and Afghanistan to undertake militant jihad. Fadil also made online contact with a suspected Al-Qaeda recruiter who encouraged him to fight in Afghanistan. To undertake militant jihad overseas, he went online in search of information on bomb-making, and produced and posted a video glorifying martyrdom and justifying suicide bombing. Fadil was detained under the ISA on 4 Apr 2010.

Imposition of Restriction Orders

4. Two Singaporeans, Muhammad Anwar Jailani (Jailani), aged 44, and Muhammad Thahir bin Shaik Dawood (Thahir), aged 27, were placed on Restriction Orders (RO)[1] for a period of two years from 23 Jun 2010. Jailani is an unaccredited[2] religious teacher who had distributed to his students, contacts and the general public numerous copies of CDs containing audio recordings of Anwar al-Awlaki’s lectures which called on Muslims to undertake militant jihad against non-Muslims and other “enemies” of Islam.

5. Thahir, who runs a small business, was one of Jailani’s students who became radicalised mainly through his influence. Thahir had travelled to Yemen to enrol in an educational institution run by an associate of Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, and to seek out Anwar al-Awlaki and other radicals with a view to participating in armed jihad overseas if the opportunity presented itself. Thahir was, however, unsuccessful in his attempts to contact Anwar al-Awlaki and did not participate in armed jihad. While in Yemen, he began to have doubts about undertaking armed jihad, and came round to the view that there were other ways of doing jihad like pursuing knowledge and performing good deeds. He also withdrew from the Yemeni educational institution. He was investigated by ISD after his return from Yemen.

[1] A person issued with a Restriction Order (RO) must abide by several conditions and restrictions. For example, he is not permitted to change his residence or employment, or travel out of Singapore, without the prior approval of the Director ISD. The individual issued with RO also cannot issue public statements, address public meetings or print, distribute, contribute to or be involved in any publication, duplicate or disseminate any audio or video recording, hold office in, or be a member of any organisation, association or group without the prior approval of Director ISD. He must also report to ISD at specified times and dates, and present himself for counselling and/or interviews as required by the Director ISD. He may be re-detained should he fail to respect these conditions and restrictions.

[2] Jailani had applied for accreditation under MUIS’ Asatizah (religious teachers) Recognition Scheme but was rejected in 2009 as he lacked formal religious qualifications. The ARS was launched in Dec 2005 by MUIS to enhance asatizah's standing and serve as a reliable reference for the Singapore Muslim community in engaging Islamic teachers.

Gang of Tea Partiers Bussed in to Jump, Severely Beat Young Democrats in New Orleans

Oh, wait, did I say Tea Partiers?

On Friday April 9, 2010, GOP official Allee Bautsch and her boyfriend Joe Brown attended a Republican dinner at Brennan’s restaurant in New Orleans. When they left this event the young Republicans were followed from the restaurant by a group of five white men who hurled insults at them calling Allee a “little blond bitch” and calling Joe a “f**king f*ggot.” They savagely beat and stomped on the young Republican couple just blocks from the restaurant.
And the speculation is that these thugs were bussed in to protest governor Jindal.

Somali "President" Ahmed: Somalia is in the hands of Al-Qaeda

More good news. Of course, Ahmed is "president" of no more than a couple blocks in Mogadishu and no more of a "president" than the last hapless soul of the last TFG. This does not end well.

Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed pleaded for help on Monday at a regional summit, as an al-Qaeda-inspired insurgency closed in on his Mogadishu palace.

"Somalia is in the hands of al-Qaeda and extremist groups. The whole issue needs urgent treatment," he told leaders from the six-nation Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (Igad) in Addis Ababa.

"I would like to tell you that Somalia is going through its most dangerous phase in recent times and we are asking for intensified efforts in order to set up an effective military strategy," he added.

You would know about all this if you were reading Rahm's Terror Free Somalia everyday.

Good Gay: Lindsay Lohan Dating Hot Israeli IDF Chick

Refresher: Good gay is two hot chicks. Bad gay is all the rest. Making good gay a rare commodity outside of Cinemax late at night.

But this? This might very well be good gay.

Add to that the fact that Eilat Anschel is Jewish, an Israeli, and an IDF vet and I'm thinking this post my cause a few Islamists to renounce Allah and get on Yawheh's bandwagon.

Either that, or their heads will explode.

NASA To Reach Out To The Muslim World

And by reach out, I don't mean a nuclear strike from space.

Check out what Obama assigned the NASA Administrator, Charles Bolden, with as noted in this Fox News story:

"When I became the NASA administrator -- or before I became the NASA administrator -- he charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science ... and math and engineering," Bolden said in the interview.

A couple goals missing from Obama's new International Social Justice Department (formerly NASA) is anything to do with the atmosphere, space, or aeronautics. This makes sense, especially when considering job creation efforts don't create jobs and economic stimulus comes closer to invigorating the rear sphincter valve than the economy.

Update: William Teach has the video and more.

Night-Vision Goggles Sight Babe Teacher with Boy, 14

(Stanfield, Arizona) Last Wednesday night, police officers were on a surveillance stakeout along Highway 84 in Stanfield when they noticed a suspicious white SUV pull off the road and stop.

Using night vision goggles, the officers then commenced observing two individuals appearing to engage in sex.

Before officers approached the SUV they saw the male and female get out of the vehicle and argue.

Officers learned the male was only 14-years-old and the female was Andrea Martinez, 26.

Martinez was the teen's former teacher.

The victim told officers he had sexual intercourse last month with Martinez too.

Pinal County Sheriff's Detectives arrested Martinez.

Martinez has been charged with child molestation and sexual misconduct with a child. Martinez teaches for the Stanfield Elementary School District.

Q: Suppose there are seven people in England who break into a factory and cause £180,000 ($275,000) of damage. They admit their crime of criminal damage. What would be their sentence?

A: It depends. Usually they would be sentenced to up to 5 years in prison. But if the factory is making goods that help Israel to defend its citizens, the seven walk free.

Finally: Russian Spy Anna Chapman Nude Pics

You know, I was going to put a betting pool up to see who could predict to the closest minute when nude pics of Anna Chapman would hit the 'nets. An anxious nation holds its breath and awaits.

But no sooner did I get around to posting about it then I learn that Pat Dollard has nude pics up of that hot Russian spy Anna Chapman. Since he and I go way back, I figure if you must look at nude pics of Anna Chapman, it might as well be at Pat's place.

But you probably shouldn't click. You have better things to do with your time. Except Sun of Whores.

Oh, who am I kidding. You lazy pervs.

But since this blog is strictly PG-13, here's the censored version of one of the pics below. You'll have to click on the link above for the full version.

Now excuse me, I'll be busy the rest of the day. Um, working. That's it. Working.

Study: Terrorism in UK "Mostly Homegrown", al Qaeda Inspired

In all the annals of "no-sh*t", this one may take the cake.

But there are two kinds of "groundbreaking" studies. The first is the study that disproves conventional wisdom. The second is the study that proves conventional wisdom and leaves the reader wondering why no one thought to do such a study before. This one is clearly in the latter camp.

Another one of those, "I wish I had done this study years ago" moments.

Some highlights from the executive summary (bold = mine):

Al-Qaeda and al-Qaeda inspired terrorism remains the biggest threat to the UK’s national security. The Security Service estimates that over 2,000 people in the UK pose a terrorist threat and in March 2005 it was estimated that there were up to 200 al-Qaeda trained operatives in the UK. The British-based threat does not only affect the UK: a number of British Muslims have been convicted in foreign courts or have fought for (or trained with) terrorist or extreme Islamist groups abroad....

Islamist Terrorism profiles 124 individuals who committed suicide attacks or were convicted for Islamism-related terrorism offences in the UK between 1999 and 2009. There were a combined total of 127 convictions and attacks, which will collectively be referred to as Islamism related offences (IROs)....

IRO analysis supports the theory that the UK faces a threat from ‘home-grown’ terrorism.

69% of IROs were perpetrated by individuals holding British nationality.

• South-central Asia features prominently among origins of ancestry, accounting for almost half (46%) of all places of origin by region of ancestry. Furthermore, over a quarter (28%) of those who committed IROs have some Pakistani heritage, of whom at least 80% (n=29) were British nationals with Pakistani origins.

• The most common origin, after British Pakistani (23%) and those of unspecified origins (9%), is Somali, which was the origin of ancestry for eight of those convicted for IROs (6%).

• Among UK residences, London features most prominently, with just under half (n=61, 48%) of IROs being committed by individuals living in London. The boroughs of Waltham Forest and Newham within North East London were together home to 30% of London-based perpetrators (n=18). Outside of London, the two most common regions were the West Midlands (13%) and Yorkshire and the Humber (9%).

A brief of the report can be downloaded here.

Academic Freedom in India: Professor Gets Hands Chopped off for Defaming Islam

Okay, so it wasn't the government that chopped this poor guy's hand off -- it was a group of Islamists. But you'll notice that prior to the minions of the ROP catching up from him on his way home from church that his university had suspended him for writing an exam question deemed defamatory to jihadis. Since I find it hard to believe that any one could object to defaming jihadis, I can only assume that this means he said something offensive about Islam.

The last time I checked academic freedom was supposed to be about protecting ideas deemed controversial. I can think of no other idea today as controversial as the notion that political Islam is every bit as evil as Nazism or communism.

Jihad Watch:

Five Jihadi fanatics today chopped of the hands of Malayalam Professor.

A Malayalam professor T J Joseph of the Newman College, who is under suspension for preparing a defamatory question for an exam paper, was attacked by a gang of five men at Muvatupuzha when he was coming back from church.

His crime - A question prepared by the professor for a Exam was offensive to Jihadis.

Of course, this is India, a country which once banned The Jawa Report after blaming us -- not the terrorists -- for an attack in Mumbai. Apparently we provoked them.

Aussie Politico: Ban Islamic Extremist Preachers

Not a bad idea if by "ban" he means not letting them into the country. No government should censor its citizens except in the rarest of circumstances, but all governments have a duty to keep the riff-raff out.

Let's see if this goes anywhere. Gut instinct says DOA:

Preachers of Islamic extremism should be barred from Australia, a federal MP says.

Michael Johnson, a lower house independent, has also called for a debate on banning the burqa.

Obama To Create 5000 Jobs

Ronin: Awesome! Excellent work Obama. Finally, taking care of business and kicking some ass. Yah! Tell me about your plan.

Obama: Well, we're going to create 5000 jobs.

Ronin: How are you going to do that Mr. President?

Obama: Well, I'm giving almost 2 billion dollars, from the 787 billion stimulus package, to two solar companies.

Ronin: But, but, that's taxpayer money. Kind of like a subsidy for an industry that can't find it cost effective to run by itself. And that's like $350,000 per worker.

Obama: No, no, no, most of the hiring will be temporary construction workers. Only about 1500, by our estimate, which is usually high, will be permanently employed.

Ronin: Good God! 2 billion for 1600 jobs for technology and industry that can't make it on its own in the real world. That's like flushing it down the toilet. Well, at least it is going to a good ol' fashion American enterprise.

Obama: Well, actually, most of the money is going to Abengoa Solar which is a unit of a the Spanish company Abengoa SA.

Ronin:..............uuummmm.........I got nothing. Speechless, absolutely speechless.

"Silent" Cal Coolidge on the Declaration of Independence

Address at the Celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Philadelphia, Pa. (July 5, 1926)

Under a system of popular government there will always be those who will seek for political preferment by clamoring for reform. While there is very little of this which is not sincere, there is a large portion that is not well informed. In my opinion very little of just criticism can attach to the theories and principles of our institutions. There is far more danger of harm than there is hope of good in any radical changes. We do need a better understanding and comprehension of them and a better knowledge of the foundations of government in general Our forefathers came to certain conclusions and decided upon certain courses of action which have been a great blessing to the world. Before we can understand their conclusions we must go back and review the course which they followed. We must think the thoughts which they thought. Their intellectual life centered around the meetinghouse. They were intent upon religious worship. While there were always among them men of deep learning, and later those who had comparatively large possessions, the mind of the people was not so much engrossed in how much they knew, or how much they had, as in how they were going to live. While scantily provided with other literature, there was a wide acquaintance with the Scriptures. Over a period as great as that which measures the existence of our independence they were subject to this discipline not only in their religious life and educational training, but also in their political thought. They were a people who came under the influence of a great spiritual development and acquired a great moral power.

No other theory is adequate to explain or comprehend the Declaration of Independence. It is the product of the spiritual insight of the people. We live in an age of science and of abounding accumulation of material things. These did not create our Declaration. Our Declaration created them. The things of the spirit come first. Unless we cling to that, all our material prosperity, overwhelming though it may appear, will turn to a barren scepter in our grasp. If we are to maintain the great heritage which has been bequeathed to us, we must be like-minded as the fathers who created it. We must not sink into a pagan materialism. We must cultivate the reverence which they had for the things that are holy. We must follow the spiritual and moral leadership which they showed. We must keep replenished, that they may glow with a more compelling flame, the altar fires before which they worshiped.

Happy Beginning Of Independence Day

Today we celebrate Independence Day. What does that mean? Independence from who? Those that signed this declaration where traitors, did you know that? Who were they traitors to? A recent poll of Americans, when asked, independence from who, revealed some didn't have a clue. Some said China, France, etc.

The colonies where under British rule, high taxes etc. The revolutionary's wanted to cut British rule. We didn't become independent upon signing of the declaration, it was a beginning of the war, a long and hard fought war. Casualties on our side were numerous, some literally froze to death, others starved some wanted to give up...why fight? An unsung hero, Thomas Paine, gave the patriots a reason to fight. It began with "Common Sense" and when some felt all was lost he wrote "The Crisis".

The publication of "The Crisis" gave those freedom loving people a reason to fight on. Of course we did win and we should never forget those that fought and gave all, some literally starved, froze to death, no pay for all and yet they gave all to fight for our Independence from British rule.

Today marks the start, 234 years ago, of America's declaration of independence Never forget this is not the day we cut our noose free from British rule but when our founding fathers decided we are to become a free nation . Slavery was a contentious subject. Some signers owned slaves. The slavery question was to be addressed on another day, and we know how that turned out.

God Bless all who gave all for our country, you will never be forgotten. We can't allow progressives to delete the true history behind the "4th of July".

God Bless our military for protecting our country and helping others to realize the true meaning of democracy.

Happy beginning of Independence Day and God Bless America!

Gentlemen, we have finally discovered a surefire method of scoring with chicks way out of our league:

“Namely, the use of good-looking women to lower a man’s defenses…

“These women will elicit from their males what kind of job they have, and determine if they have a security clearance, and then try to develop the relationship further,

The takeaway here is not to end the don't ask don't tell policy or recruiting beta males, it's that when that hot Russian chick asks Pfc. No-one-particular the golden question, he says Top Secret.

Keep this one close, people. At some point too many fresh recruits with Top Secret clearances will raise some eyebrows.

And if you take this one away from me people .... :

Actually, it's not the burka ... you are fat!

Must. Stop. Laughing.

Daily Caller:

While some women are able to hide the bloat of a large meal behind a burka, the garment and the traditions surrounding it can also discourage exercise both psychologically and practically.

The “Encyclopedia of Women & Islamic Cultures: Family, body, sexuality and health” authored by Suad Joseph and Afsaneh Najmabad and published in 2006 notes that obesity, especially among women, has become an “epidemic” in many Arab countries. “High obesity prevalence among women may be partially due to cultural prohibitions against physical activity,” Joseph and Najmabad write.

Studies indicate that up to 70 percent of women in the Gulf states are obese. According to The Economist magazine’s world rankings, the countries with the highest obesity rates among women are Muslim countries: 1. Qatar 2. Saudi Arabia 3. Lebanon. (The United States ranked 8th on this list.)

To take the similarities seriously we need to first realize that Chechnya is inside the Russian Federation. Chechens and other Turks is the Caucuses are Russian citizens. The Russian bombings were homegrown terror.

Commenter: Ohio Homeland Security director Bill Vedra said of fired and lying multicultural affairs director Omar Alomari "there isn't a better man in the room"; now trying to pin Alomari on previous GOP administration

Following up on our announcement yesterday that Ohio Homeland Security multicultural affairs director Omar Alomari had been fired after an exclusive Jawa Report investigation into his extremist activities and his previous firing from a local community college for sleeping with one of his students in violation of the school's sexual harassment police (and later unsuccessfully suing the victim for defamation after she reported him to the school), the Columbus Dispatch followed up with a story adding that not only had Alomari falsified his resume, but he had lied to investigators during the recent investigation.

But in the comments to yesterday's post came "C3PO", who noted that Ohio Homeland Security director Bill Vedra had recently backed Alomari against charges that he was an Islamist mole in the ODPS, exhibited by a a picture of Vedra, Alomari and the executive director of the local CAIR chapter at an ODPS event (you can see the pictures here), Vedra vehemently protested, saying about Alomari that "there wasn't a better man in the room". Here's what "C3PO" had to say as an eyewitness:

While it might be easily to want to blame this 'sloppiness' on US Homeland, remember he was working for the State of Ohio.

Not only were they sloppy, but, as mentioned in Barbarossa's original article- some are complicit. Particularly director William 'Bill' Vedra. He recently stood before a group of over 100 Counter-Terrorism operatives from all over Ohio and chastised us because we were shown a picture of Alomari, the director of Cair Ohio, and the boss of the Muslim BROTHERHOOD for Eastern America- and ranted as he flapped his arms about the nobility and impeachable credibility of Alomari- that there wasn't a better man in the room.

Mr. Vedra- since you chose to hang your hat on Mr. Alomari, as it was mentioned in the class by the presenter- "you are either a useful idiot or willingly complicit in allowing the Muslim Brotherhood access to high levels of Government." He gave you the benefit of the doubt that day- assumed you were so busy that no one could have schooled you on how nefarious and with how much subtlety they work.

Time to lay down your cards Mr. Vedra.

Which is it?

Either way- you need to resign, and, apologize to the presenters, attendees, and all those local law enforcement officials that you dragged in to defend Alomari ....some of whom, uh, ehmm, also stood up and backed Mr. Alomari as well.

Thinking particularly of Mister "you shouldn't believe every thing you read on the internet" and that other gentleman that yelled at us and flapped his arms before my friend walked out. Just for starters.

We reported on Vedra's backing of Alomari's "sterling" reputation, along with his justification of continuing to work with the terrorist-supporting CAIR by likening CAIR to "gang bangers, drug dealers and mafia rats", back in April.

What makes Vedra's recent testament to Alomari's "sterling" character all the more interesting in light of Alomari's firing for falsifying his resume and lying to investigators, is that according to our inside sources, Vedra and ODPS are now trying to blame the previous Republican Taft administration for Alomari, no longer attesting to his "sterling" character, but claiming that he was a troublesome hold-over.

My, how the winds of change blow. But don't worry, Bill Vedra. We just might have in our possession an audio copy of your comments defending Omar.

BREAKING: Ohio Homeland Security official Omar Alomari fired after Jawa Report exclusive investigation ***Updated***

(Sticky, but not AlGore sticky. Scroll down for new posts. - Ronin)

We've heard from multiple sources today that Ohio Homeland Security multicultural relations director Omar Alomari has been fired as a result of our exclusive Jawa Report investigation into his extremist ties and lying on his resume (omitting he had been fired from a local college for sexual harassment of a student). We reported two weeks ago that he was under investigation.

The question is, will Olen Martin, who runs the Ohio Homeland Security's Northern Border Initiative be fired for his two fake degrees on his resume? If not, ODPS will have a lawsuit on their hands. Then again, Alomari will probably sue for discrimination anyways.

Here are all our back articles on Omar Alomari and the Ohio Homeland Security follies:

Insider: Ohio Homeland Security multicultural affairs director Omar Alomari sued his sexual harassment victim (April 27, 2010)

Ohio homeland security multicultural affairs director Omar Alomari was fired by college for sleeping with student, but his boss touts his sterling character and outstanding reputation to attack his critics (April 20, 2010)

Insider: Ohio homeland security director likens CAIR to gangbangers, drug dealers, mafia rats, criminal informants and other "bad guys" - to justify continuing to work with terror front group!!! (April 19, 2010)

Insider: Ohio Homeland Security had to destroy thousands of "anti-radicalization" brochures for promoting terror-linked groups (April 16, 2010)

Muslim Leader: Ohio Homeland Security publishing "classic Islamist propaganda" (March 18, 2010)

UPDATE by Rusty: Hammer, by popular request.

UPDATE 2: The Columbus Dispatch weighs in, even giving the "Jawa Report" credit (thanks for correcting the typo):

An Ohio Homeland Security official has been fired for failing to fully disclose his background when he began working for the state in late 2006.

Omar Alomari, 59, was fired Tuesday for dishonesty stemming from his failure to list his prior employment at Columbus State Community College, where he was fired after an improper consensual sexual affair with a student.

Alomari also gave "false information" when he was interviewed by investigators, according to his discharge letter from Thomas Stickrath, director of the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Alomari, who was paid $76,107 a year homeland security's community engagement director, did not list his tenure at Columbus State from 1990 to 1996 when he submitted a job application and filled out background-check materials.

State officials began an administrative investigation of Alomari in May after the Jawa Report, a terrorism-related website, began digging into his background and publishing its findings. Alomari denied any wrongdoing at Columbus State.

Details of the investigation of Alomari were not immediately released. The report should be available Friday, a department spokeswoman said.

Laren Knoll, Alomari's lawyer, declined to comment this afternoon.

Abnormal Fatwas in Saudi Arabia

(Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) Can you believe it? Someone is issuing fraudulent fatwas.

A flurry of disagreement has surfaced between hardline Muslim clerics and liberal scholars regarding fatwas or Islamic religious edicts and who can issue fatwas.

Recent incidents have riled the religious community and prompted the Saudi grand mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz al-Sheikh, to issue a warning.

“Those who offer abnormal fatwas which have no support from the Quran should be halted,” he said on Al-Majd television on Sunday.

“If a person comes out (with fatwas) and he is not qualified, we will stop him,” he said, comparing such a person to a quack doctor allowed to treat patients.

Conservative religious leaders are upset by a fatwa by Riyadh cleric Adel al-Kalbani which endorses public music performance even though it has been banned in Saudi Arabia.

And the hardliners were really angered by a fatwa from senior cleric Sheikh Abdul Mohsen al-Obeikan which specified that a grown man could be considered the son of a woman if she breast-feeds him. (more ....)

Video: An MSA President Becomes and International Terrorist

Fist sign that the nice Alabama boy might become an international terrorist? He takes Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda's side in the model UN.

Second sign? He chokes another student for saying something bad about Islam.

Third sign? His favorite place to hang out when he lived in Toronto was a bookstore run by a Taliban supporter.

Fourth sign? He spends hours and hours on the Islamic Networking forum -- the same forum that has spawned well over a dozen convicted terrorists.

Yup, no one could have ever foreseen that Omar Hammami would go to Somalia, join an al Qaeda linked jihad group, and kill infidels. No one at all.

Here's the Current TV "Vanguard" special on Hammami called "American Jihadi". If you can ignore the lame and trite narrative which makes it seem as if it was small town Alabama that drove Hammami to terrorism, it's pretty good.

Sure the station was founded by Al Gore, but I promise the video is completely DNA free.

One has to wonder if his friends who converted to Islam are really so stupid to think that their newfound religion has nothing to do with political violence and oppression? I'm guessing, yes.

‘We are certain that we are winning. Why should we talk if we have the upper hand, and the foreign troops are considering withdrawal, and there are differences in the ranks of our enemies?’

Black Panthers/Voter Intimidation/Why Was The Case Dropped?

DOJ lawyers had a perfect case against the Black Panthers voter intimidation during the 2008 election. It was dropped after Obi One took office & Eric Holder was appointed. Former DOJ lawyer James Adams now speaks out about the miscarriage of justice. Naturally the DOJ is calling him a liar.

[UPDATE: The video doesn't seem to want to embed right, so go over to Fox to watch it.]

Today, well known Civil Rights Attorney, Bartle Bull ,(watching interview right now) said this was a miscarriage of justice. He also said Obi One has violated the Civil Rights voting rights acts by allowing this case to be dismissed. He also said when he was testifying in the original trial a couple of Black Panthers sat behind him in the trial. He felt they were trying to attempt to intimidate him.

Najibullah Zazi Connected to al-Qaeda Operative

shukrijumah.jpeLong War Journal:

The terrorists who plotted to blow up New York City subways last year may have met with a top al Qaeda operative who has been wanted by the US since 2003, according to multiple press accounts.

The subway plot was headed by Najibullah Zazi, an Afghan citizen and US resident, who pled guilty to terrorism-related charges earlier this year. According to press accounts, either Zazi or his coconspirators met with an elusive al Qaeda operative named Adnan Shukrijumah. Prior to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Shukrijumah lived in Florida and had been groomed by senior al Qaeda leaders, including September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), to be a sleeper agent responsible for launching a new round of attacks inside the US.

More disturbing is that FOXNEWS reported this morning that Adnan Shukrijumah "operates openly in Pakistan." yet the Pakistanis don't seem to be able to find him but Najibullah Zazi could.

The US considers as one of the top five most wanted al-Qaeda terrorists in the world.

Ewww! al-Gore's DNA?

OK so now al-Gore's accuser has come up with a "DNA Stain" on a pair of white pants?

Wall Street Journal: The Enquirer followed up with more details this week, stating among other things that the masseuse has hotel video footage and DNA evidence that could be used in the investigation.

A spokeswoman for Mr. Gore said the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner denies the allegations.

"Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore," said spokeswoman Kalee Kreider. "The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial."

The Enquirer followed up with more details this week, stating among other things that the masseuse has hotel video footage and DNA evidence that could be used in the investigation.

Hmmmm, I hate to defend Mr. Gore but her earlier statements denying sexual contact, being "shocked" he even asked and the "Crazed Sex Poodle" thing really doesn't add up with, "Oh and I have his DNA on these pants."

What is it with these stain savers?

Sounds to me like there was no "unwanted sexual contact" or sexual assault. I mean unwanted or no contact doesn't usually result in flying DNA.

Minstry of Irony: Special Envoy to Combat Anti-Semitism Speaks Against Islamophobia

Jihad Watch:

But I am not here today to name and shame. Rather, I would like to talk about how the United States has changed its entire framework for engagement with Muslim communities, and for the need to move beyond mere tolerance to partnerships based on mutual respect.

Just over one year ago in a speech in Cairo, President Obama articulated the United States' commitment to a new relationship with Muslims around the world based on mutual respect, mutual interest, and mutual responsibility; a shared commitment to universal values; and comprehensive engagement with governments and people alike.

Islam: Kill A Jew – Go To Heaven
It was always my wish to turn my body into deadly shrapnel against the

Zionists and to knock on Heaven’s doors with the skulls of Zionists

Ironic no? The person charged with tolerance for Jews making sure we don't interfere with Muslims religious freedom to hate them?

French Codify "Insults" as Crimes

(Paris, France) Sticks and stones may break your bones but words are now illegal in France.

Couples who insult each other over their physical appearance or make false accusations about infidelity face jail, under a new French law making "psychological violence" a criminal offence.

The law – the first of its kind – means that partners who make such insults or threats of physical violence faces up to three years in prison and a €75,000 (£60,000) fine. […]

Nadine Morano, the junior family minister, told the National Assembly that "we have introduced an important measure here, which recognises psychological violence, because it isn't just blows (that hurt), but also words."

Miss Morano said the primary abuse help line for French women got 90,000 calls a year, with 84 per cent concerning psychological violence. […]

The bill, which has been unanimously approved by French MPs, defines mental violence as "repeated acts that could be constituted by words," including insults or repeated text messages that "degrade one's quality of life and cause a change to one's mental or physical state."

Therefore, the French word police will be enforcing some sort of no-insult policy. The law will also "experiment" with using ankle bracelets for serial insulters.

Critics suggest the law merely placates women's rights activists while creating significant unintended consequences. For example, it's believed that men will be able to beat their wives with impunity now by claiming psychological victimhood.

Of course, at the outset someone should clarify whether referring to French as "surrender monkeys" is now a crime. Surely, it's insulting to somebody.

Major Hamas Fundraiser Hearts Elvis? Memphis Welcomes Him

Well, he doesn't really heart Elvis, music is haram. Mohammed al-Hanooti is to appear at Masjid Al-Noor mosque.

Via Patrick Poole@Pajamas Media

Notorious Hamas fundraiser Mohammed al-Hanooti is set to appear from July 13 through 15 at Masjid Al-Noor, a mosque near the University of Memphis operated by the Islamic Association of Greater Memphis. It is also the home of the university’s Muslim Student Association.

Mohammed al-Hanooti has been identified by federal prosecutors and top counterterrorism officials as a enthusiastic supporter of Hamas — serving as one of its top fundraisers — and also as an active supporter of terrorism and extremist Islamic ideology for several decades.

He also holds the rare distinction of not only being named by prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terror finance case in American history, but also of being listed as a conspirator in the trial of the “blind sheik” Omar Abdel Rahman for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and planned follow-up attack on New York City landmarks. FBI agents have also testified that al-Hanooti was a participant in an infamous 1993 meeting in Philadelphia of senior Hamas leaders in the U.S.

He is also buds with American born Yemeni radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki. He as well as Awlaki served as imam's at the mosque in Falls Church, Virginia. The mosque that churned out several terrorists. He presently is grand mufti or religious leader (per Poole) of the greater D.C. area.

Nothing to see here, move along.

House Vote To Audit The Fed

Obviously it will pass with 320 co-sponsors to Ron Paul's HR 1207 bill.

Nope! Failed 198-229! And in Ron "Usually batshitcrazy" Paul's own words:

That means a lot of Democrats who cosponsored my 1207 bill voted against it when it really mattered.

New List Of Blacklisted Products In Iran

Actually, its not the products but the airing of advertisements for these products.

Products include Coca Cola and Nestle, for instance. Roughly summarized as "Zionist companies" that are "comprised mainly of international companies, mainly American, owned by Jews or that operate branches in Israel. "

Never fear Mahdi anticipators! The approved list of commercials continues to expand as the witty Iranian populace suffers the current state of affairs. New ad revenue is being generated with inspired products such as Sharia Book Of Household Execution Tools, Suicide Belt Building DVD, and, of course, government sponsored messages reminding its citizens of Khomeini's teachings.

"The meat of horses, mules, or donkeys is not recommended. It is strictly forbidden if the animal was sodomized while alive by a man. In that case, the animal must be taken outside the city and sold."
"If one commits an act of sodomy with a cow, a ewe, or a camel, their urine and their excrements become impure, and even their milk may no longer be consumed. The animal must then be killed as quickly as possible and burned, and the price of it paid to its owner by him who sodomized it."
"It is forbidden to consume the excrement of animals or their nasal secretions. But if such are mixed in minute proportions into other foods their consumption is not forbidden."
"If a man (God protect him from it!) fornicates with an animal and ejaculates, ablution is necessary."
