The Good Senator Lieberman Not Concerned With Letter Beside His Name
The partisan left is predictably upset.
Joe is a Democrat in my book. He differs with his former Party on two issues, security and fiscal discipline. But other than those two I always think of Joe as a "liberal". He has more support from the right, true Joe's honest, we like that.
If you think those two issues and the honesty don't matter much, just look at what happened to the last crop of Republicans who let fiscal discipline and honesty slip. Oh I forgot they are gone.
Joe we don't really care what letter is beside your name. D or I. And if you ever wanted an R well its not really you but we'd be glad to have you.
Regardless I think if Joe decides to run again, he'll win. Connecticut would be foolish to trade him for a freshman Senator over a silly label.
