Great: Grad Student with Radical Islamist Sympathies Preaching at LSE
Lest we forget, the Christmas Day underwear bomber, Umar Abulmutallab, graduated from the University of London. No way he could have been radicalized there. No. Way.
A radical Islamist said to have mentored a British suicide bomber is teaching and preaching at a top university.Somewhere in the halls of the UK's largest university, Jeremy Benthams corpse weeps. No, really. His corpse is sitting in a hallway. Freaky British universities .....Bristol-born Reza Pankhurst is allegedly spreading the message of hardline group Hizb ut-Tahrir at the London School of Economics.
The public school-educated 34-year-old is said to have been a major influence on Omar Sharif, who took part in a suicide bomb attack in Israel in 2003....
Pankhurst was jailed for three years in Egypt for promoting the banned [Hizb ut-Tahrir ] organisation in 2004....
[Pankhurst] is working as a teaching assistant at LSE while studying for a PhD there....
A member of the student society said: 'He preaches every other week and is constantly bringing the subject around to politics, talking of Afghanistan and the need to establish the Caliphate, or Islamic state.
