Country That Confiscates Bibles, Executes Apostates Calls for Boycotting Switzerland Over Minaret Ban
I don't support the minaret ban in Switzerland. One of my biggest problems with political Islam is that it is antithetical to fundamental principles of liberty -- such as freedom of speech and religion. I don't see much difference between banning minarets in Switzerland and the expansion of churches in (well, there are far too many Islamic countries that do this to make a list here).
But for Muslims to get so pissed off about the ban when the vast majority of their own countries are far more restrictive of freedom is grossly hypocritical.
It is yet another example of turning Jesus' parable of the beam in the eye on its head: they point out the mote in Swiss eyes ignoring the blinding beam in their own.
I would remind you that you can't even bring a Bible into Saudi Arabia. A personal Bible! And that they execute you for leaving Islam in Saudi Arabia! They kill you for exercising a basic human right in that country! And their pissed about disagreements over architecture?
