Grim Milestone Alert: Casualties mount as more US soldiers killed by Islamic terrorists in US than Iraq in November (UPDATED)
Maybe President Obama is going to blame Bush, admit defeat and announce a withdrawal of all troops from the US by 2011?
iCasualties.org reports 11 Coalition fatalities in Iraq in November. There were 12 soldiers, 1 civilian worker and 1 unborn child killed by Major Nidal Hasan at Ft Hood on November 5th.
UPDATE by Rusty: Shouldn't that headline have something in it about casualties mounting? Just thought I'd throw that out there.
UPDATE by Barbarossa: Fixed the headline. Excellent suggestion.
UPDATE by Jane: On the subject of the terror attack at Fort Hood, more instances of the lack of coordination within and among federal agencies-
1) Some of the emails from Nidal Hassan to Yemeni-American jihaddist cleric Anwar Awlaki were never forwarded by the FBI's San Diego field office and never requested by the DC field office handling the investigation, NPR.
2) ABC: "A felony arrest warrant for radical Islamic cleric Anwar al Awlaki was rescinded in 2002 a day before he was intercepted as a terror suspect at New York's JFK airport, forcing authorities to release him..." Supervisory assistant U.S. Attorney David Gaouette, who canceled the warrant for Awlaki in 2002. was appointed last August by President Obama as the U.S. Attorney for Colorado.
