Al Qaeda in Yemen Recruits Fighters for Government

Its really bizarre. They are all so cozy.

Xinhuanet: In an audio recording posted on an Islamist website, Mohamed bin Abdul Rahman al-Rashid, one of the Saudi most wanted suspected terrorist, said "Shiite Iran poses an extreme danger to Sunnis of Yemen and Saudi Arabia than Jews or Christians." (And incited) the Saudi-Yemeni Sunni Muslims to "fight Iran-backed Shiite rebels."

The Yemeni government has been fighting the Houthi rebels since 2004, but now they are allowing Saudi Arabia to bomb in Yemen and blockade the coast. Al Qaeda is also backing the Yemeni government in the war, one reason why Yemen's level of counter-terror cooperation is so very poor.
