Came across this vid while researching deer whistles.

Below the fold: at Angus Dei's request, a bike hitting a deer.
Everything I've read about deer whistles says they don't work, yet the only time I hit deer was during a short period when I didn't have any deer whistles on my car.
A squad of six deer deployed themselves on the military crest of a rise on a NYS highway and lay in wait. Cresting the rise at sixty something, I managed to miss four of them. The other two did over $3500 damage.
The deer are organized now people. Be careful out there.
