Massachusetts Lawmaker Seen Avoiding Taxes He Jacked

A Massachusetts state lawmaker, Westport Democrat Michael J. Rodrigues, voted to increase taxes on alcohol and subsequently was spotted brazenly loading tax-free booze into his car, which sported a Massachusetts House license plate, in the parking lot of a New Hampshire liquor store.

Rodriquez said he was buying the hooch during a bathroom stop at the liquor store and it's only a big deal because of "Republican demagoguery."

Frankly, traveling to a liquor store in an adjacent state to take a leak is a foreign practice to me. I'd look for a gas station. I suggest that Mr. Rodriguez might be fibbing. (More ....)
