Sandcrawler PSA: Its Not You
It’s not just you: Gmail (Gmail) is indeed down. We’ve been unable to connect to the popular email service from Google (Google) and receiving errors for at least 15-20 minutes (as of 4:00pm ET) and we’re not alone, as there are already thousands of tweets from frustrated users sharing the experience.We're hearing that some IMAP service is working and Rsluty got through via iPhone but everyone using a browser seems to be down. Chat is reported to work through 3rd party IM clients. Last word was they expect to be back in 1 to 2 hours. We'll see.No word yet on the cause of the outage or when service might be restored. We’ll update here when we learn more.
So if you are emailing Jawa's we're probably not getting it.
